Wanderlust by Tita Lacambra Ayala,1998
A formal form-
lessness
provinces of thought
denied due process
lines tied up in knots
recurring in dawn's wet trees
somehow also
landscapes are empty
full of water yesterday's
footprints the clouds
in them
how can you believe
you are not found
having lost footing
to the elements
splintered
everywhere you look
and you must hold
your breath
and keep away
from cloistered ravines
it will be raining when you
get home
there will be lights
in the windows

Dont Hold Your Breath
One day Ill get home before the sun hits the blinds
And give you - Ill give you something to remember me by
Thats the way I am
Its what I got in mind but I dont know if I can
You gotta shoot your gun - dont expect me to dance
Hold me up to the spotlight but
Dont, dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
These empty pockets are my deepest friends
Full of nothing but good intentions
Thats the way it is
It may not be much but I can blow you a kiss
Ive been wrong - Ive been wrong once before
Ill be all right tomorrow but
Dont, dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
I may be lazy or a living wreck
I wont be swayed by your expectations
Thats the way it is
It may not be much but you know what to kiss
Ive been wrong - Ive been wrong once before
Ill be all right tomorrow but
Dont, dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath
Dont hold your breath

Tombstone
The night is dark, the moon is full
Across the blood red plain
Every step and every breath
Brings me nearer home
The spirits watch me on my way
They whisper on the wind
And when the dawn lights up the sky
I'll see my land again
A hot wind blows the scrub and dust
across the barren land
Trees stand bare like skeletons
The mountains all torn down
The water holes are dry as bones
No birds are singing now
And faraway a city stands
Tombstones against the sky

Summer Rain
When you stop seeing beauty
You start growing old
The lines on your face
are a map to your soul
When you stop taking chances
You'll stay where you sit
You won't live any longer
But it'll feel like it
I lost myself in the summer rain
I lost myself
I lost myself in the summer rain
In the summer rain
Tequila and Orange
Jamaica and rum
At the Morella
Honey on my tongue
In a small boat on a generous sea
You let me be your enemy
Tiny hand
With a grip on the world
Holding our breath now
Diving for pearls
I lost myself in the summer rain
I lost myself
I lost myself in the summer rain
Just as you find me
Always I will be
A little bit too free
With myself
Just as you find me
Always I will be
A little bit too free
With myself
I lost myself in the summer rain
I lost myself
Now there's no one else
In the summer rain
Raining down
Raining down
Rain
Raining now
Raining now
Just as you find me
Always I will be
A little bit too free
With myself
Just as you find me
Always I will be
A little bit too free
With myself
It's not why you're running
It's where you're going
It's not what you're dreaming
But what you're gonna do
It's not where you're born
It's where you belong
It's not how weak
But what will make you strong

But the development of human society does not go straight forward; and the epic process will therefore be a recurring process, the series a recurring series - though not in exact repetition.

In The Footprints of My Mother
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall step to you.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall stay innocent and true.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall not give up hope.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall give you my love note.
In the footprints of my mother,
Lead me to a better path.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall releive in her wrath.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall cure all of your pains.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall bring you great reigns.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall unleash the angels of truth.
In the footprints of my mother,
I shall defeat the evils booth.
The footprints of my mother,
led me straight to you.
The footprints of my mother,
Shown me I have nothing left to loose.
The footprints of my mother,
Guieded me towards the compelling lights.
The footprints of my mother,
Guided me towards the love of my life.

As We Go
A dream of white, snow newly laid,
Lines of footprints, all freshly made,
As across the ground we go,
Leaving our footprints in the snow.
A dream of yellow, sun so strong,
Lines of sunshades on sand, belong,
As across the beach we go,
Leaving the shades, in the sun’s glow.
A dream of blue, sky clearly seen,
Lines of vapour, where planes have been,
As across the land we go,
Leaving the trails, that skywards flow.
A dream of black, the night is here,
Lines of stars, which slowly appear,
As across the hours we go,
Leaving the stars, on night’s shadow,
A dream of colours, as dawn awakes,
Lines of raindrops fall as daybreaks,
As across the day we go,
Leaving the drops, on dawn’s rainbow.

Tear Tram Lines
This town has lost its sparkle,
The stars have lost their shine,
This town’s too full of echoes,
And my face too full of lines.
The shore has lost its tide,
The waves have lost their rhyme,
This town’s too full of tears,
And my smile too full of lines.
The clock has stopped it’s ticking
My feet dance out of time,
This town’s too full of yesterdays,
And my frown too full of lines
The cinema’s showing it’s last reel,
The pubs have all called time,
This towns too full of actors
And my script too full of unread lines….
Pumping Protocol
Pranab k c
13/09/2011
Lines are lost from the morning page
as soon I composed in computy craze
current betrayed with sudden breakage
out it goes from memory garrage
Idea snatched my floating footing
captured being with word pumping
how does it contact beauty bumming
know not mystery of staying starving
pumping dictates a process filling
away the men from depot proceeding
who never thinks what lies within
beauty from past to present prevailing
lines when lost opens passage obscene
me and you took Ceaser to Catherine
alluring the abbey of bloody shattering
darkest feeling of pumping pumping
air blows to blow up curtain
water flows to fill the flagon
removes nasty from hectic dragon
throws the fire to burn the bloom
pumping high gets ocean womb
pumping low gets water dry
oven craving the hungry flicks
flames get angry with pumping tricks
heart got spasm by pumping breath
embrio forms by sucking sperm
whole the universe ever expands
pumping spelt the filling passion.

The well-known fact that the form of a specific substance, e.g. water, and hence its properties can alter without a change in composition was disposed of by the formal view that a physical, not a chemical, process was involved.

Two Travels
i've gone to more places
hazy ones like shadows still not fully boldly outlined
by those dark lines pitted against the outbursts of lights
from these half-opened windows
while simply sitting down
flat on the floor
looking for nothing
the trips on those long hours of jetting in the air
and trekking on those cobbled streets of kota bahru
and the scalding heat of the sun
on Poring
still imagining the winds on the canopy walks of kinabalu park
on top of trees
and just as when my feet lands on
those untrodden trails
i feel short of those unsatisfied longings
still hungry for breath
still thirsty for something beyond water
now that i am home
the travel is deeper inside
beyond what my heart
can beat
perhaps what i have been searching is just here
beneath my feet.

Life-death border
Raining raining and raining
Everywhere there is forest
There is mountain and rain and rain
Forest is full of trees
Mountains and mountains full of
Stones trees and stones stones
Here is a stream here there is water
And it is the border we must cross
Lion and lion tiger and tiger
Here there is a river come and
Come till completion of over
Over of time age birth death
Come my dear friend we are all
Here to make merry to get pleasure
And to cross life death border.

Choked
Trees above her, below her, to each side of her
Fog obstructing her view, where should she be?
She cannot tell what day it is any more than she can tell what time it is
Which way should she turn?
The fog swallows her feet
When she thinks she has found the right path, she sees an opening...
Then the fog swallows it
She has been misled again
...and again
......and again
She screams, she’s tired; she is choked by the fog, betrayed by the trees
Feels like she’s been here forever
Trees that don’t talk back anymore
No one is there to guide her
She is lost
The trees and fog are making her second guess every step she makes
Mocking her, humiliating her, laughing at her
At one time she thought they would lead her
Following each way the breeze decided to sway the trees
Going with the fog because where there is fog there is water
Water leads her to place she needs to be
If only the fog was not so thick
if only the trees would talk again
If....If....IF! !
If only she was not lost
The trees and the fog swallows her
Then spits her out when she is nothing more
Nothing is left
Besides a new start
God! Please help me!

It's Raining Red
It's raining, it's raining, it's raining red
I blasted a hole
Right through my head
It's raining, it's raining, it's raining red
I'm so relieved
I'm finally dead
It's raining, it's raining, it's raining red
I was killed by the lies
I was always fed
It's raining, it's raining, it's raining red
It's over I'm gone
So forget what I said

The Knots
When a sweater is knitted,
The knots are gathered,
When the future is knitted,
The knots have to be removed,
When the knots are allowed to gather,
The future may not be clear to prosper,
When the knots are not uniformly arranged,
The sweater may not look elegant and chic,
But still serve the purpose, not as the future,
That is full of knots, yet to untangle,
To have the clear path without thorns,
Either well traveled or yet to be known,
Creating knots is fun at first,
Untie them is the task we do in future.
Those who know to tie the untie able knots,
Are victorious to the ones, who knows not,
Putting a permanent knot is the work of a feeble.
when we pull the thread of the sweaters,
we will be left with threads in pieces,
life without knots is meaningless,
life with full of knots is worthless.

Learning To Fly
Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction holding me fast, how
Can I escape this irresistible grasp?
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i
Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought I thought of everything
No navigator to guide my way home
Unladened, empty and turned to stone
A soul in tension thats learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i
Friction lock - set.
Mixture - rich
Propellers - fully forward
Flaps - set - 10 degrees
Engine gauges and suction - check
Mixture set to maximum percent - recheck
Flight instruments...
Altimeters - check both
(garbled word) - on
Navigation lights - on
Strobes - on

(to tower): 129.4. its to go.
(tower): you may commence your takeoff, winds over 10 knots.

Easy on the brakes. take it easy. its gonna roll this time.
Just hand the power gradually, and it...
Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night
Theres no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, a state of bliss
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i

From Blue to Blue You Choose
There are clouds above your storms...
Afraid to let Sun through.
Also empty wishes,
Have you feeling shades of blue.
On the dew...
At dawn.
There are clouds above your storms,
Only no one but you.
And...
That's the way it seems.
That's the way your dreams are too!
From blue to blue,
You choose!
Open up your windows.
Feel the breeze.
Let your heart breathe free.
There are clouds above your storms...
Afraid to let Sun through.
Also empty wishes,
Have you feeling shades of blue.
On the dew...
At dawn.
Clouds above your storms.
And they are there watching you.
Wanting to drift,
Away.
But you wish them to stay..
From blue to blue,
You choose.
The way your dreams are too!

And I found my home
Walking on a LONELY road
All alone dark and cold
I thought it was the end for me
But I found my home
Hiding in the shadows of my pain
ANd every word spoken made me insane
I thought nothing else matterd
But I found my home
Always confused never on the right
Closing my eyes to everything in sight
I didn't wanna keep going
But I found my home
Keeping everything there was inside
All I ever wanted to do was hide
I thought this whole world was nothing
But I found my home
Just when I lost all hope
When everything shatterd and I couldn't cope
A family of angels healed my pain
And I found my home

Only in dreams
i see the trees
live in the air…dancing everywhere
swaying to the breeze...
i touch the sky
sketch the rainbow…trace the shadow
reflects in meadow...
i feel the moon
romantic lights
i saw ourselves enjoying the night...
and when eyes meet eyes.. Like aurora
above the clouds outside the windows
dawn has come, darkness disappear...
And I say to myself “what a wonderful dream”…
