Us
what was said
that was sad
if they turn into dust
because we left them
in that forgotten corner
of the room
soon we shall discover
as part of the furniture
that once
we sit upon again
and we remember all of them
not with sadness
anymore but with courage
because
we survived the turbulence
of tears
the unceasing coldness in
the rain
the madness of mud
and
we look at each other
again
we are still pure
and imbued still with the
beauty of our
age.

Stubborn (Psalm 151)
there's a whole lotta stubborn in this room
there's a whole lotta pride that won't let go
there's a whole lotta stubborn in this room
that shows no sign of givin' up control
i've drawn all the curtains
i've turned out all the lights
scared to death somebody else might see
there's a whole lotta stubborn in this room
and there's no one here but me
there's a whole lotta demons in this room
they want it all, and they don't wanna share
there's a whole lotta demons in this room
and none of them believe in fightin' fair
some sit on my left, some sit on my right
they talk so loud it's hard to disagree
i'm surrounded by the demons in this room
and there's no one here but me
and i can't quite remember how to
pray anymore
and i can't quite remember what to
say anymore
if it turns out that i can't have my way anymore
how will i know which way to turn
when i walk out the door
there's a molecule of faith in this room
what they used to call a mustard seed
there's a molecule of faith in this room
and a book that says that's all i'll ever need
I don't know where it is, but i hope i find
it soon
'cause nothin' else will ever set me free
there's a molecule of faith in this room
and even though it's much to small to see
if i have the courage to believe
i'll find the one who left it here for me

13. Just Someone I Used To Know
Theres a picture that I carry
One we made some time ago
When they ask whos in the picture with me
I say just someone I used to know
Just someone, I used to spend some time with
Just a flame, thats lost its glow
But I dont them of the nights I cried without you
I say just someone I used to know
Just someone, I used to run around with
Just a friend from long ago
I dont tell them, how lost I am without you
I say just someone I used to know
I say just someone I used to know

I remember now
I remember wanting it back
I remember all the boredom
I remember all the security
I remember holding myself back
I remember the want
I remember the denial
I remember getting it back
I discover all of the excitement
I discover all the new ways
I discover all the acceptance
I discover all of the interest
I discover all the greenest grass
I remember all of the dreams
I remember all the waiting
I remember all the uncertainty
I remember all the letting down
I remember what I ought not to have forgotten
I remember the limbo of my decisions

How Sad This World Of Beauty Might Have Been
How sad this world of beauty might have been
How sad the leaves that do not know the beauty of their own green names
How sad the sound of sadness in its sinking down
How sad when no real sadness makes sadness so real
How sad and less than glad are we all
Savoring our own sadness-
Let it go away
Let it play elsewhere
Let joy and laughter make sadness a forgotten moment
Let joy and laughter even be our song to ourselves
Let's try
A new world is waiting for those capable of writing and listening to a poem
That has not a single note of sadness left in it.

Rain Tears
Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Melding in torrential fears:
Chill of cloud; saddened eye-
In either way, a latent cry.
Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Married under sceptic jeers:
‘They'll never last.' Methinks not true, for
Either way, forever blue.
Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Simple love with lacy cares,
Their intercourse will ne'er refrain
From rain and tears and tears and rain.

Walking In The Rain With You
with you
walking in the rain
shall turn to singing
and dancing
and playing with the rain
we get wet
of course, and even off course,
we forget what home is
or what the sun is all about
drops of rain to our lips
like bunch of grapes
or strawberries,
we go jumping and hopping
and the shades under the trees
do not matter anymore
and then i ask, shall we go naked this time
under the rain?
you smile, for now, you are prepared
for freedom, for love, for truth,
for the coldness, and the birth of our spirit,
and the death
of our bodies, how sad, and oh, did i not tell you
that this is so beautiful to
think on a second
thought, hands clasped, then we part, and go our own ways,
the rain stopped, and we grope for deeper thoughts
to the sound of the rushing waters, where to?

My Memories
Today will be a memory
yesterday is a memory drifting away
memories turn into tears,
tearing us apart.
Fear of moving on, afraid of change,
in a minute this will just be a memory
memories are all pain in vain
memories are like dreams, a reflection of the past.
Memories are vision of what it used to be.
my memories are sadness and struggle
what are yours?
are they sadness and struggle?
You are but a memory
that dwindles as each day passes me by.
and as you slowly vanish
I huddle in my room and cry.
A memory that’s all I have
that’s all that’s left of you
nothing but a mere memory
that still lingers, only for a little while longer in my head.
Don’t forget about the past
without memories there is no yesterday.
make every day one to remember a
memory to move on with no pain or anymore regrets

no, it’s beyond words.
say a word your word
if you need,
death loss tears grief gone ever
it’s beyond all these
take them hold them
press them tear them
squeeze from them
the tears of things
tears at the heart of things
squeeze this pure pure liquid
from these from life itself
so pure it’s nameless
so pure it’s the being
of your being,
the truth of truth,
the beauty, of all the sadness
that ever,
so pure, so true
that never again;
so pure, it could be
joy or love or grace
wash in its purity
this is life

The Rain Song
I dont think about us much anymore.
Frankly, the topic has become a bore.
And you dont come up much in my conversations.
And I dont think about you on vacation.
Oh, but when it rains.
When it rains. when it rains.
Thats when I remember. (I remember)
Thats when I remember. (I remember)
I remember you. (oh, I remember you)
I remember you.
I dont think about you when Im sleeping.
Oh, it doesnt even cross my dream-like mind. (oh)
And I dont think I see your face through the curtain.
Hell, I dont even miss you half the time. (half the time)
Oh, when it rains. when it rains. when it rains.
Thats when I remember. (I remember)
Yeah, thats when I remember. (I remember)
I remember you. (oh, I remember you)
I remember you.
Rain, rain, go away.
Im doing fine as long as you stay locked up inside a cloud of grey.
Rain, rain. rain, rain, rain. rain, rain. rain. rain!
cause when it rains. yeah, when it rains. when it rains.
Thats when I remember. (I remember)
Yeah, thats when I remember. (I remember)
I remember you. (I remember)
I remember you. (I remember you)
Thats when I remember. (I remember)
The only time I remember. (I remember)
I remember you. (oh, I remember you) I remember you.

I don't want you to cry on last day
I don't want you to cry tears of sadness

Cry cause because you remember the good things I use to do here on earth
I want you to remember my smile
My jokes
My T L C
I want you to remember me as a fighter
I want you to remember me as the most sweetest person
I want you to remember me as someone who always made you feel good
I want you remember me as the friendliest person
I want you to remember me as the person who use to light up the room
I want you to remember me
As a nice smelling perfume
I want you to remember me
As a hereon
I want you to remember me
As the most craziest person
Not in bad way but in good way
That is why I worked so hard
To became a good person
In order for you to have lots of good memories about me n less bad memories
I want to be remembered as person who left a really good mark

Sea Of Madness
Out in the street somebodys crying
Out in the night the fires burn
Maybe tonight somebodys crying
Reached the point of no return
Oh - my eyes they see but I cant believe
Oh - my heart is heavy as I turn my back and leave
Like the eagle and the dove
Fly so high on wings above
When all you see can only bring you sadness
Like a river we will flow
On towards the sea we go
When all you do can only bring you sadness
Out on the sea of madness
Somewhere I hear a voice thats calling
Out in the dark there burns a dream
You got to hope when you are falling
To find the world that you have seen
Oh -
Oh -
Its madness
The sun dont shine
On the sea of madness
There aint no wind to fill your sails
Madness when all you see can only bring you sadness
On towards the sea we go...

You Were There
By eric clapton
We made the distance,
Yeah, we made the day.
You made all the difference
'cause you found the way.
Without your wisdom
Lord, where would we be
Lost in the wilderness,
Somewhere out at sea.
But you were there
Through the days of wine and madness,
When i'd always put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
You found the meaning
And helped me to see
Where i was going to
All that i could be.
Without permission
You turned the key.
You climbed the prison wall
Deep inside of me.
You were there
Through the days of wine and madness
When i'd turn and put, put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
You were there
Through the days of wine and madness
When i'd turn and put, put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
Let me down.
You were there.
You were there.
You were there.

The Simple Beauty
The simple beauty of the frozen sadness
Than tears of the blue is not much less
And not much more than beauty of the clouds
Inside the rain, to rain the flaky crowds.
But green inside the beauty as the winter keeps
Means more than grass of sorrow as the beauty weeps.
And eyes of green can see it in the whisper's ness
As their tears of blue than yours are not much less.

Now, Who's To Blame?
from the very start
you started it with a wrong notion
you were looking at the roof
you were attracted by the stars on the ceiling
you gaze at the furniture and the
figurines on the living room
huge, human like'
then you gave them the wrong impression
you were mumbling a lot of reasons
you made them believe you
time is not your ally
it reveals what is hidden
time proves you wrong
there are no stars left for they have all been taken
by the moon and sky
the furniture is after all the property of the termites
and the figurines all fake
those huge human like creatures turn out to be
stuffed apes
now you want to cry a sea of tears
but you cannot
your heart wants to erupt into a volcanic sob
you cannot
you force out a smile to prove time wrong
you exude laughter
sounding like a can with pebbles inside its belly
you are a wise man
all of them shall believe you again
now, cry baby, inside the secret room of your heart
freeze the tears
wise man, blame yourself.

She Brought Them All Kindly To Her Grave
of course i know what coldness is
apart from something that is cool
when mother died her hands were extremely cold
for my hold
i let them go
there was no sadness
there was that happiness of letting her rest
and giving myself a little space
for tomorrow
when coldness comes again in an empty room
with open windows
i know not what panic shall be
my hands are extremely cold these days
when i kiss them
my lips become frozen
they break like glasses
i cannot speak
there is no way that my tongue shall give in to
words
it cannot face coldness in the mirror
of my face
since you ask and you demand an explanation i open my hands
and i let your hands touch them
i cannot speak i am afraid i will be cruel
you must hold these extreme coldness for a long time
so you can all let them go
like white birds against a dark sky
so you can also experience what happiness
i had when i let go off
mama's fears
when mama closed her eyes
because what was important she knew
need not be said anymore
she brought them all kindly to her grave

When The Rain Stopped Falling
there is this heavy rain
falling on top of your roof and it is so disturbing
that you wake up
and lock your windows
to shut yourself away from the sounds
of falling
but you cannot help worrying even when you cannot
literally hear the sound of the falling rain
you still imagine how they fall inside your mind
as though you can hear every syllable that every neddle of rain
is pricking in your brain
your ears
and your eyes still have the image of these
series of fallings
that even if the rain finally stopped
and you open your window to check
in the middle of this time
when morning cracks fromt the shutters of your windows
you still think like crazy
you hear the sound of the wind and it is like the sound of the falling
rain
and even if the wind has left like a leaf flown to the eastern side
of your house
even if there is no shadow of the leaf anymore
you hear your heart falling from your chest
now you must accept
leaving.
now you must accept the pain.
do not deny it.
it is you that is falling out
from the grace of her love.
it is you.
cry it out!
shout it!
it is you.!
it is you!
it is not the rain, it is not the wind, it is not the leaf that was blown away
towards the eastern part of the house.it is not the design of the house.
it is not the purple curtains. it is not the lonely courtyard
it is not the red bowl. it is not the tower.
it is not the blank sheets of paper.
it is not the bell.
it is not the winding stairs.
it is not the dirty garage.
it is not the scaffold.
it is not the white paint.
it is not the doorbell.
it is not the turbulence of the plane.
it is not the slap of the hand.
it is not the blue fan.
it is not the cellophance floating in the air and whirling in that corner
a dead-end.
it is you! and that is the truth!
be calm now. wipe the tears.
try sleep and dream.

A Love Shanty
I was going to say I love you
And then an angel cried
I thought I would leave it for another day
Now I remember yesterday
As the day tomorrow never came
And I never got the chance to say
I love in the rain
~
Can you bring the sun out
If only for a hour or two
Let the clouds break away
I would kneel before you
Take your hand and say
What I never got the chance to say
I love you and I love the rain
~
It falls to feed the earth
And wash dust away
Nothing is left to be forgotten
Nothing is left to yesterday
Although tomorrow may never come
And the rain got in my way
I want to take my time
And say, I love you

Theres Not Much Love Here Anymore
Rain rain come on down
Youre so welcome at my door
Come on down and ease the pain
I never hurt this bad before
Tears keep falling from my eyes
And all I do is walk the floor
Its not too hard to realize
Theres not much love here anymore
Rain rain come blowin in
Come wash these tears away again
Leavins cut me to the core
Theres not much love here anymore
Rain rain come blowin in
Come wash these tears away again
Leavins cut me to the core
Theres not much love here anymore
Rain rain come blowin in
Come wash these tears away my friend
Leavins cut me to the core
Theres not much love here anymore
