Untitled 9

something is heavy
i cannot lift it myself
on such a tense
situation as this
when everything seems
to be pointing at you
with all disfavor

your sigh
heave it yourself.

if i heave a sigh, what will i do with what i did not heave?

if i heave a sigh
into the air, and i keep some other more inside myself,
unconsumed, unspent,
what will i do with it?
keep it
like a secret in my closed fingers and pretend i am angry
with this clenched fist
when in truth i have nothing
no plan of keeping things that long because my arms
my soon go
into the river and be lost floating like a log from a hill?

i heave a sigh, that is enough relief,
i am emptied of something heavy
in my nose
i become an island losing air
but keeping sand and
stones
to keep my balance with the coconut trees
still
making landmarks to lost directions,

but it is my way of making my senses alive
i heave a sigh
and i want you to really hear it at a very close distance
just you and me
for you to know where i have situated myself
in this vast
nothingness,

i am here, touch me,
i am warm, i am fire,

you have been taking the forms of water
cold, damp,
having the face of the night, where the moon lost its light,

what are you doing to me?
i am taking you but you are the one taking me nowhere
i am lost by your promises
of a raft
i lost track of your waft, and here i am lost again as i

heave a sigh, deeper
this time....

Tense

I know not
What is tense
I know
Tense has no tense.
Tense for tense
With no time
With no form
I am above tense.

Waitin' For Superman

Asked you a question
I didn't need you to reply
Is it gettin' heavy?
But they'll realize
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy
As can be
Is it overwhelming
To use a crane to crush a fly?
It's a good time for Superman
To lift the sun into the sky
'Cause it's gettin' heavy
Well I thought it was already as heavy
As can be
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on
Best they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgot them
Or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift
Is it gettin' heavy?
Well I thought it was already as heavy as can be.
Tell everybody
Waitin' for Superman
That they should try to hold on
Best they can
He hasn't dropped them
Forgot them
Or anything
It's just too heavy for Superman to lift

A Land Shanty

Sou' sou' east, with the course set fair
Heave ho, me hearties!
On the Geelong road we're cruisin' there
Seven tars with ne'er a care
Heave ho, me hearties!

When up speaks Bill of trouble aft;
But the bos'n grinned and the skipper laughed;
An' 'e sez, 'We'll trust the queer ole craft
Heave ho, me hearties!'

Stuns'ls, mains'ls, all were set
Heave ho, me hearties!
An' the fust mate sez, 'We'll make port yet,
For the seas are smooth, so don't you fret
Heave ho, me hearties!'

But the steersman sez, 'I doubt her feel,
For she ain't responding to the wheel,
An' I got me doubts of 'r starboard keel
But heave ho, me hearties!'

There weren't no sea, tho' thegale was stiff
Heave ho, me hearties!
When this mad ole, bad ole dry land skiff
Is a total loss in 'arf a jiff
Heave ho, me hearties!

'Dry land,' the skipper sez, sez 'e,
'Is a 'ard, 'ard spot; give me the sea.'
An' so in 'ospital, sez we
With a heave ho, me hearties.

Attitude for justice

I am at ease to hate but tense when hated.
I am at ease to love but tense when rivaled.
I am at ease to seek but tense when rejected.
I am at ease to cuckold but tense when cuckolded.

Can there be attitude for justice?

Heaving The Heavier Sighs

you know how heavy are the sighs
you lift it like a weight
from your stomach
to your throat and finally
to your mouth
you let it escape
and then you are relieved
just like smoke
coming from a chimney
of a house covered
with snow

you know how is it to carry
something that you do not really like to keep
you let it go with a sigh
and then you are back
feeling high

Situation's Heavy

Making decisions about my life
It's up to me and I start to try
I can't keep running away
Trust my instincts right or wrong
Refusing help try to be strong
I'll fight this one today
Here's my point of view
Wouldn't wanna offend you
Wanna do the best to prove
Push your face ain't gonna lose
Deep and twisted but I refuse
Don't want advice but help to choose
I'll just walk these tracks alone
Use it as a stepping stone
Chorus:
Trying to face it all alone
Had to find my own way home
No matter how hard it may be
The situation's heavy
I'm not growing old before my time
Even when there's warning signs
That consequently I can see
The situation's heavy, heavy
How am I supposed to know
Where I want my life to go
If you always hold the plan
And maybe I will learn to lead
It will be my own mistakes
That I can say that's who I am
Here's my point of view
Wouldn't wanna offend you
Wanna do the best to prove
Push your face ain't gonna lose
Deep and twisted but I refuse
Don't want advice but help to choose
I'll just walk these tracks alone
Use it as a stepping stone
Chorus:
Trying to face it all alone
Had to find my own way home
No matter how hard it may be
The situation's heavy
I'm not growing old before my time
Even when there's warning signs
That consequently I can see
The situation's heavy, heavy
oooh etc
Here's my point of view
Wouldn't wanna offend you
Wanna do the best to prove
Push your face ain't gonna lose
Deep and twisted but I refuse
Don't want advice but help to choose
I'll just walk these tracks alone

Some Are Less Tense

Time bound, track bound, a runner is tense.
Time bound, task bound, a worker is tense.
Odd bound, risk bound, a master is tense.
Failure not minded, some are less tense.

Adjust to live with

Did you ever witness man with arrogance?
Blinded by fortune and millionaire by chance
You offer a drink to monkey and see the scene
Same may be the case with men and delightfully seen

No doubt reasonable amount is needed
Some of the favorable points are conceded
Yet it is useful not in all the cases
Good relation is needed in certain cases

People can be hired to garner support
Audience can be created with good efforts
But closeness and intimacy can only come from relation
There money plays no part with any of the equation

When all of sudden fortune swings in your disfavor
No one may keep closer relation and come near
They will sideline you and keep some distance
So money plays dominant part but has less importance

Under such circumstances you may get jerk and kick
You may have all kind of disasters and fall backs
You will be cornered from all the sides and find no favor
You will find severe draught for the want of money power

Suddenly you may find world is not meant for you
What you had enjoyed earlier was illusory and not true
Rose has no smell and garden has lost charm
Everybody is hostile and ready to harm

You want to forget all shocks
As there is support has run out of stock
You turn to heavy drinks to forget it all
This leads you to fall on ground and dash against wall

Some good things emerge in mind but of no use
It is too late to recover and everybody shall refuse
No help may come forward as expected
You stand downgraded in public eye and not respected

Fortune can swing any time in favor or disfavor
As seasons also come in rotation like winter and summer
What should we remember in times to come?
We must adjust to live with situation and always welcome

Future Tense

(myles goodwyn)
Published by northern goody two tunes, ltd./capac - ascap
Each moments just a reflex
Response is just a motion
The pressure never ends baby
I hope it dont drive me crazy
I dont wanna be a poor boy
It dont help to say gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme
I aint foolin myself now
All I know is what I feel
I know I dont like it
You cant disagree
Come on, say itll be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, gone too far
Future tense, a world apart
Future tense, more than a feeling in my heart
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I feel a little unbalanced
Between the pros and the con men
I try for satisfaction
You always let it slide
Every day is like the last day
Whatever happened to 50, 50, 50, 50
I dont have a solution
All I know is what I feel baby
I heard about the good life
Id like to give it a try
They say its gonna be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, is what I feel
Future tense, is what I see
Future tense, as much for you as it is for me
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
If you dont like somebody
Say leave me alone
Its just like a bad time
You have to make good on your own
Were racing through time now
Its all hit and run
You say its gonna be alright
I say yeah, yeah, yeah
Future tense, weve gone too far
Future tense, a world apart
Future tense, more than a feelin in my heart
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh no (yeah, yeah, yeah)
No (yeah), no (yeah), no (yeah), oh no

Falling In Love

Your eyelids are gettin heavy
Hard to lift
Your mind begins to wander
Things start to drift
Your arms are getting heavy
Hard to lift
You sink down a little deeper
Youre feeling wonderful
(chorus)
Maybe youre falling in love
Maybe youre falling in love
Maybe youre falling, falling, falling, falling in love
You stare across the harbor
At the lights along the bay
Your arms have got so heavy, now
Theyre just getting in your way
Look
Now youre walkin in the holy land
Yeah, thats you there, walkin with the king
You ask what have I done to deserve this?
Why, you havent done a thing
(repeat chorus)

Hey Now What You Doing

Hey now what you doing
Don't go down the road to ruin
Look back at where you came from
Count to ten before you go wrong
You have the brightest future
Writing songs on your computer
But you couldn't walk the extra mile
And now your life is running wild
You've gotta hold your head up high
You know it's not too late to try
You've gotta lift that heavy load
You've gotta get back in control
The days you've said to me
What is it that your eyes see
Is it love or is it hate
Banging on an opened gate
Hey now, who's that with you
What's that thing I saw him give you
Turn around don't come no closer
You took it from my shoulder holster
You've gotta hold your head up high
You know it's not too late to try
You've gotta lift that heavy load
You've gotta get back in control
You've gotta hold your head up high
You know it's not too late to try
You've gotta lift that heavy load
You've gotta get back in control
Why don't you put that gun right down
Before you kill the love you found
Hey now what you doing (what you doing)
Don't go down the road to ruin

William Shakespeare

Sigh no more

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more.
Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea, and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny.

Sing no more ditties, sing no more
Of dumps so dull and heavy.
The fraud of men was ever so
Since summer first was leafy.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey, nonny, nonny.
