Universal...(revised)

a droplet of rain when it hits your head
is no longer a droplet of rain

it becomes an idea and an idea is always
for the universe

it is not you, neither shall it become yours
it becomes an ocean

there is no trace of my name neither yours
there is not a hint of any title
ownership is strange, it cannot be understood
in this realm

what love is there is not just for you
it is not just you
it comes, it touches, it changes
everyone
everything

do not claim it as exclusively yours,
it isn't

the Droplet

I am but one droplet in the stream,

carried along by gravity,

which snakes toward the River Liffey

which then empties into the sea.

One droplet, chemically the same

as all my brothers in the tide.

Yet unique, I am myself.

distinct from others by my side.

What a crazy ride it’s been

over rocks and through the woods

passing through old Dublin town

flowing beneath the Ha’penny bridge.

Finally emptied into the sea

to join the sad eternal tide......

Perhaps the Sun will raise me up

to rain down on the countryside.

I’d not object to being rain

or to joining the Liffey once again.

Rain,rain

Why am I here if youre there
So far away its not fair
To be without you like this
I miss you more than you know
The nights are long
The days slow
Without the warmth of your kiss
Wish you were back here with me
Cause out my window
All is see is
Rain , rain in the sky
Everywhere I look my eyes see
Rain , rain fallin down
Crying as it hits the ground
Rain , rain in my heart
Every day that were apart
Rain , rain
Falling rain , rain
Rain , rain
Only rain , rain
The sun is strong when youre near
But when youre gone it disappears
Behind an ocean of blue
The telephones not good enough
It cant reach out it cant touch
Me like the way you do
Wish you would knock at my door
Cause only you can stop the pouring
Rain , rain in the sky
Everywhere I look my eyes see
Rain , rain fallin down
Crying as it hits the ground
Rain , rain in my heart
Every day that were apart
Rain , rain
Falling rain , rain
Rain , rain
Only rain , rain
Maybe ill go outside
And walk beneath the clouds
Pretend its you thats watching over me
This isnt the only thing that comes
Between us now
Baby soon well be together
Oooo
( everywhere I look I see rain )
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Everywhere I look I see rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( everywhere I look I see rain )
Rain
( rain , rain in the sky )
( everywhere I look my eyes see rain )
Rain
( rain falling down )
Down
( crying as it hits the ground )
Dont , dont let it hit the ground
( rain , rain in my heart everyday that were apart )
( rain , rain )
Rain
( falling rain, rain )
Rain
( rain, rain )
Everywhere I look I see rain
Everywhere I look I see rain
But I dont see you
Youre not near me
I need you ooo
Rain
Itll never be the same
If you dont stop the rain

Rain

When the rain falls,
It; s like me pouring out tears.
I'm filled with pain like the rain;
I'm like a droplet
That can't control where I'm going.

I stand under the rain thinking,
Why does it rain? ...
Giving me all this pain and sorrow
I have on myself that can't be gone.

An Idea

An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.

And Not a Drop to Drink.

She wanted to be in the sea,
and spread throughout each molecule and expand to each ocean.
She wanted to be the beauty of the sun's reflection
as it rises over the Atlantic Ocean in glorious gleaming ripples
and plants itself in the periwinkle sky.
She always said she'd be happy in the ocean.

'Sprinkle me over the San Fransisco Bay! ', she would say.
And I hear she hated the cold.
But, to this day, in the ground she does lay.

She wanted to be in the ocean,
where she'd be translated to the evaporating rain.
She could fall over her beloved garden
and kiss it with each droplet of an afternoon storm.

She would translate her love through the waves' lullabies
and gently rock sailors to sleep
and wander freely throughout the world,
a traveler,
as, at heart, she's always been.
I sometimes wish my tears could make an ocean.

Midnight rain

Midnight rain
~
The rain from the heavens falls
against my window at night
it keeps me awake sometimes
every droplet tap, tapping away
I listen to them, their melody
a beautiful serenade
I know soon enough I'll sleep
and in sleeping dream
washed into a restful state
by the music of the rain
I smile and stare into nothing
that nowhere space
to the right above my bed
I conjure words and images
for poetry to be writ
and listen to the rain falling
from the heavens at night

So far as modern science is concerned, we have to abandon completely the idea that by going into the realm of the small we shall reach the ultimate foundations of the universe. I believe we can abandon this idea without any regret. The universe is infinite in all directions, not only above us in the large but also below us in the small.

February Rain

To be the mud, the bog, the mire;
To soak the bones in February –
Eons from the autumn shower–
Even from a summer berry!

Sparrows chirp a desperate call,
Darting questions at the cows –
Oblivious to the dousing squall, they
Churn the sludge with pastern ploughs.

The crying air was lost in rhythm:
Drums incessant in the drops;
Not a chance for rainbow prism –
Even if the hammering stops!

Metallic chills entrap machines –
Tractors hushed within the shed.
Inside the house, a full cuisine
To bless with mead – and little said!

But out across the tiring field,
A sodden fox is hunting down
His prey of sorts – but nil of yield;
Perhaps he’ll starve; perhaps he’ll drown.

Still the clouds are hammering,
Hammering home their dreary aim –
A chatterbox in constant yammering,
Drenching all to make a claim.

Once The Idea Comes To My Mind

i may find a pen and make a note in any of those
papera in my pocket anticipating such a situation
of radiance
without light at all
i may have captured the new idea
on paper
in writing, so it may not escape and slip like an eel
like a droplet of water
on my raincoat from my head,

but sometimes, i am too lazy to listen and
impatient to write what comes to me
as a gift
and i let it go, let is slip in my tongue like a spit
a phlegm

after all, it may not be important, so important that i may soon die
if i forget it
or the world stops spinning
or this whole world ends,

there is no such an idea,
there is no such person even, so indispensable, so important

there is no such line
no such poem, everything here is always something throwable
into some trashcans

sometimes, i have them inside myself, and then
without so much regret
i vomit,

who cares anyway?
oh well, nobody, except the critics who are there
always to kill your urge
to write poetry, who are always there to compare you to someone
deserving
the laurels of despair, the crown of literary gall
the thorns of misery

What Is Rain

Rain rain is falling down,
Outside rain hits the ground,
What is rain when you see
its like counting 1,2,3
Hear the rain join with the wind
as if it was a symphony
Rain Rain falling down
Outside rain hits the ground! ! ! !
(i wrote it myself)

Standing There In The Rain

Standing there in the rain
crying through the pain
Standing there in the rain
its so dark no one thought
Standing there in the rain
i watch how all disappears
Standing there in the rain
i dropped to my knees
Standing there in the rain
no strenght to believe again
Standing there in the rain
i wish i can breath again
Standing there in the rain
Im no longer there
Standing there in the rain
wish i knew what to do
Standing there in the rain
the dark is waiting for me
Standing there in the rain
im getting stronger
No longer screaming
no longer believing
Standing there in the rain
i see someone staring
Standing there in the rain
its when the war began....

Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.

Today's Empty Thoughts....

today
he is unable to focus upon a certain idea
it is a waterfall.

he likes to grab a droplet of rain
his hands are filled with holes

he decides to lay his body on the grass
focus his eyes upon a star at night

there is no star, his eyes are closed
there is this kind of suspended feeling

like a frozen river, a fish got stuck on ice
a dragonfly trapped upon the web of a spider

there is this feeling of: what do i really think?
not what i want, but what is in my mind

there is this desert where everything that you see is sand
no camel, no moon, no oasis, no date palms, not even the shadow of a sand dune

the sounds of sighs come
you hear your self breathing for emptiness

you pause, rethinking, what is this?
you go inside it, trying to find if there is anybody there

it is empty. Yourself is not even there.
It is so real that you now doubt if an illusion exists at all.

Rain Rain Rain

Rain, Rain, Rain, come again and again,
In the winter, in the summer and in spring,
Come with joy, fall with happiness and go with sorrow,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain come to relive earth's pain,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make nature happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make livings happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain don't go away,
Rain, Rain, Rain i hope you will stay,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Just For A Day

You have no idea what it’s like
To be the oldest
No idea what it’s like
To be exiled
You have no idea what it’s like
To be unnoticed
No idea what it’s like
To be me
So I suggest you put on my mask
For a while
Just for a year, for a month
For a day
So you can see
What it’s like
To be me
You can finally feel
My positions
Feel your weakness
In times like mine
How your feelings compress
All together
When you don’t say anything,
But hang your head

The Spring

this afternoon
i watch the coming of a
water spring
from the rock that i
built
two years ago
it was not intended
to be concealed
a staff hits it
and water flowed with
extreme pressure
rising
looking for the finger
of the sky
i am not surprised
things like this
happen
like a spring wanting to
rise above
the river
i am the river
and it shocks the sense
of my water
to find a droplet of rain
rising to the
sky

i slew it
like dew at dawn
from a leaf
and i smash
whatever its nature
is

disrespect to the
highest degree
behaving beyond
what justice
was there
that i thought of

Rain Tears

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Melding in torrential fears:
Chill of cloud; saddened eye-
In either way, a latent cry.

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Married under sceptic jeers:
‘They'll never last.' Methinks not true, for
Either way, forever blue.

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Simple love with lacy cares,
Their intercourse will ne'er refrain
From rain and tears and tears and rain.

My Sneaking Tears

How heavy fell the rain that day
From burdened clouds of mournful grey.
The torrent forced them stay their height -
Composure swayed by onerous might.

My skin wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that sodden hill;
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone -
'Twas clouds abandoned I was on.

The driving drops advanced their gears
To camouflage my sneaking tears -
Whence now did swell such floods of pain
To see me melt into this rain…

On equal bearing now were we:
This rain, myself, in harmony.
