Unfinished Business
an unfinished business
a reason to live and shy away from the
courage to die,
at twenty, you ask for a little time
longer, at thirty, you beg, another ten years
you pray, another more,
for an unfinished business
an house that looks like a face
wanting still to have eyes to see
what was not even started
others passed away at ten
and then just the same, even at sixty
all shall be forgotten

Unfinished Business
Took a walk outside, the truth was on my side,
But I didnt even make the corner.
Revolution in my sights, the time seems so right,
But I never even saw it coming.
Cant let it go. oh no, no.
Cant you hear me call, bang my head against the wall,
Cant stay around this place forever.
Cant you see, we gotta be free,
We all gotta come together.
Dont let go, oh no.
Unfinished business,
You thought youd keep me quiet.
You put a bullet in my side, but you cant put out my light.
Unfinished business,
Yes, loves the only way to find peace today.
The futures here today, we gotta find a way,
To put all the pain behind you.
You gotta put down the guns, all religion is one,
Politicians only want to blind you.
Break away, oh theres a way.
Oh, the message is clear, wipe away all the tears,
And build a better world around you.
Got to give out your love to each and every one,
Cant you see its only fear that holds you,
Let it go. oh, let it go.
Unfinished business,
I though that I was right[? ].
What that fool put out that night, [? ] burn so bright.
Unfinished business,
Oh yes, loves the only way to find peace today.
So you thought youd take my life,
Put a bullet in my side, but you cant put out my light.
Unfinished business,
Loves the only way to find peace today.
Unfinished business
Unfinished business
Unfinished business
Theres a long road behind you,
Its a hard life if you make it one
Come on to the other side [? ]
There is no place to hide

After The Day's Work Is Done
tired and disappointed
another day's work is unfinished
i look up the sky
seeing dark clouds
i look towards the sea
fading
the sun a glowing disc
falling into the dark line
of the horizon
unfinished business again,
ah, i still have enough reason to live
for another day
sisyphus! sisyphus!
how true can you be
in me...

Finished
as soon as you are born
you actually start to venture
to an end. Every cry is
every laughter's equal.
There is no such thing
as loss or gain. There
is always an equilibrium
and equivalence, a value
for value, such is the law
of human conservation.
There is really no reason
to fear, because there
is no such thing as birth
or death anymore. There
is just this journey
unfinished by you
and them.To know
that everything is an
unfinished business
is the finishing tribute
of the mind.You step
forward, and then
you feel eternity.
The first step is
actually the end of
all beginnings.

If you loved me, you would rejoice
life to life with you
arm to arm and mind indulging
with the mind
what is it that bothers us?
a bird without wings?
a horse without hoofs?
a man without eyes?
an old woman without a
burial site? a coffin unfinished?
a poem unsigned?
unfinished business
defective structures like
house without pillars
trains without tracks
cocoons without leaves
words without meaning
a poem without a definite ending
a page without a margin
a dog without an ear
a fish not in school
there are sighs unsifted
love unrequited
And now I have told you this
before it happens....

I Too, Like An Unfinished Poem
an unfinished poem sounds like
an incomplete sentence
sometimes just a predicate without a subject
like love unrequited
a verb without a noun
an adjective so misplaced that
it calls for an adverb
it is more like a mouth
that opens but says only some syllables
though you as the reader
understands what the poet
wants to stress and mean and accentuate
for some parts of the poem are meant
not to be finished sometimes
in fact, they are meant to be concealed
and well covered like a bikini
to your.........or the prohibited love
you still keep in your........
or the memories that hurt you and are meant
to be unsaid.......you still want her not to
know..........
i, too, like an unfinished poem
like the sketch of your secret love many, many years ago,
once when you were young
the face is unfinished, you have not drawn the eyes
of that love so profuse that no canvass could ever contain
you still like this love unfinished, who knows
the ripe time comes and both of you
will finish
the unfinished love poem soon......
or some poems cannot ever be finished
because the words to complete them still
do not exist
or they are simply missing,
too lost like you,
they are not there yet to a feeling so new
so fragile and so indescribable.....
so rare........
and i, really, like it that way the poem
unfinishes itself

Of Ghosts And Writers....
of ghosts i am no longer afraid
in this room
i do my own thing
i write
and they can have their own show
each to his own
unfinished business.

A man should not leave this earth with unfinished business. He should live each day as if it was a pre-flight check. He should ask each morning, am I prepared to lift-off

Only Closeness
It rains to everybody’s gain
That is creator's worry main
What else can we strive and aim?
Only closeness and frankness to Him?
We all pray for his grace
Then only smile may come on face
You may be prepared to win the race
As in each and every particle you may find the trace
We may be priceless creature
Should have been created for bright future
To carry on noble work unfinished
Where we can be sent to finish
Many may be living with blind faith
Unknown fear may be gripping them for death
Such fear can be allayed
Full message with love can be conveyed
What is not given to us as necessary?
We only feel discontented and weary
If we go for unlimited joy and happiness
It can be brought without strain on face
Who can say there is no life around?
Earth is lively with so many lives under ground
Many may have only few hours to live
Yet they look towards sky and believe
We may be over on second’s time
The life has to be realized mean time
It will be taken care off if left unfinished
Someone else may take over and get it finished

Nowhere At All
Hey, if you're moving too fast
Don't you want this thing last
But if you start moving slow
Hey, pretty mama, you just will have to go
Because
It's nobody's business but my own
It's nobody's business but my own
No, no, no, no, ... no
No, no, no, no, ... no
But if you start acting mean
Then I'll have to mess up the scene
But if you start treating me nice
Hey now baby, I'm gonna have to raise your price
Because it's nobody's business but my own
No, no, no, no, ... no
No, no, no, no, ... no
Nobody's business, nobody's business
Come on now
It ain't nobody's business, nobody business
No, no, no no, nobody's business, no, no, ...
It ain't nobody's business, yeah, but my own
nobody's business, but my own, no, no, no, ...
nobody's business ...

There Is Always Less Time....
creativity also says with both hands
banging its chest
'there is so much to do but there is
less time to do it'
living is always only for the moment
tomorrow is just a thought just like yesterday
a moment not remembered
the other one does not like to remember
'we mellowed down' quips the ripe
pomelo which has only a minute more to go
before it lands on the grass below.
'we didn't even have life' concludes the stone
stuck on the ground
'we are human beings, spare us some
more time; we have unfinished business'
thus pray the senior citizens
at Abbey Home.

Mind Your Own Business
Mind Your Own Business
(Words and music by Hank Williams, Sr.)
If the wife and I was fussin', brother that's our right
Me and that ole woman bought a license to fight
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If youmind your own business, you won't be mindin' mine.
Well, the woman on the party line's a nosey thing
She picks up her receiver when she knows it's my ring
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you mind your own business, you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
Well, I got a little girl that wears her hair up high
The boys all hollar when she walks by
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Just mind your own business, you wont be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
I may tell a lot of stories that may not be true
But I can get to Heaven just as easy as you
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, will you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Mind your business, and you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
Now, If I want to honky tonk 'til around two or three
Darlin' that's my headache, don't you worry 'bout me.
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Go on and mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you're mindin' your business, you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental---
Mindin' other people's business seems to be high-toned
Well, I got all that I can do just to mind my own
Mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you mind your businessmyou won't be mindin' mine.
Dear Lord, If you mind your business, you'll be busy all the time...

The White Horse
from a bottle
alcohol all consumed
the white horse
come flying
low and stands
beside me
all willing to take me
where i want to
be
but then i refused
i like it
its wings most
but i stick to that part
that i still
have so many
unfinished
business

Maybe
For a long time
I have been an admirer
Of yours
For decades
Yet my feelings for you
Have not faded
So much has changed
Through the years
LPs to CDs
VHS to DVDs
Land phone lines to cell phones
Nothing has remain permanent
Except for my feelings for you
So real and so true
Even if these feelings
Grows into nothing
It won't change a thing
After all these years
Of having these feelings
Inside that won't subside
And yet these feelings still manage to survive
They won't go away
No matter how much
I try
Maybe it will always
Forever be unfinished business
Of something that has yet to begun
So I will continue to
Keep these feelings tuck away
Just in case! ! ! ! ! !

Nobodys business, but my own, now

10:29 P.M.
between us
are these glass window panes
dusty and
misty combined
i see a body
above it profuse light
it is facing me
as i write
my story and this
poem
i know there is no one
living in this house
all are in the monotony
of abandon
i am not afraid of you
another sculpted space
i call it
emptiness still
unaccepted
he calls himself
ghost
but i do not really mind
i too
have unfinished business
and by all means
i must finish it
now....

Superior Dwelling
Distil this sadness at the heart of your thought,
Offer kindness to yourself if the worry is affected.
Unfinished business remains too bought,
By the dragons of conjecture, awful not grand.
May the distillation of misery be an evaporation
Or an emancipation for the soul, the rigour of the heart.
The head and heart are business of the soul
And this mighty righteous action to name
Contains no heresy, no fanatic feature or real qualm
From the people who inhabit the superior dwellings
We have attained also.

I've had 79 to 80 years of show business. I started when I was 5 with a man called Tom Mix. I didn't have time to go to school because I was in silent movies, I was in radio, I was in burlesque, I worked with the circus. I'm all show business!

Unfinished Dream
Unfinished dreams
Lay immured in melancholy
-the saddest mystery, of all human folly-
The feeling like fall
I can't seem to lose,
It smells of ancient memories
And undone blues.
So much longed for
Is recalled no more,
It has all came and went
Like a maudlin dream, unspent.
What can they mean,
These fading, unfinished dreams?
Brought upon clouds of blue
Drifting by, always just out of view;
Unfinished dreams
Are memories lined with a purity of love as yet unseen;
Like friends I know, yet don't, and
Friends I wish to know, fearing I won't,
Like an evening sky speaking in silent tones
With a melancholic voice I feel -somehow- I have known.
The voice encouraging:
' Finish the dream,
All is not just as it seems.'
Life thus far
Is an unfinished dream
Originating from an unseen distant Star
When that last super-nova ignites
In the greatest ever flash of light
Our mysterious, melancholy dreaming shall end
And there we awake where we began...
Seeing, for the first time, exactly where we are.
