Waltz For Eva And Che
Che: Tell me before I waltz out of your life
Before turning my back on the past
Forgive my impertinent behavior
But how long do you think this pantomime can last
Tell me before I ride off in the sunset
There's one thing I never got clear
How can you claim your our savior
When those who oppose you are stepped on or cut up
Or simply disappear
Eva: Tell me before you get onto your bus
Before joining the forgotten brigade
How can one person like me say
Alter the time honored way the game is played
Tell me before you get onto your high horse
Just what you expect me to do
I don't care what the borguoisie say
I'm not in buisness for them but to give all my descamisados
A magical moment or two
Eva and Che: There is evil ever around
Fundamental system of government quite incidental
Eva: So what are my chances of honest advances
I'd say lo better to win by admitting my sin than to lose with the halo
Che: Tell me before I seek worthier pastures
And thereby restore self esteem
How can you be so short sighted
To look never further than this week or next week
To have no impossible dream
Eva: Allow me to help you slink of to the sidelines
And mark your adeiu with three cheers
But first tell me who'd be delighted
If I said I'd take on the world's greatest problems
From war to polution no hope of solution
Even if I live for 100 years
Eva and Che: There is evil ever around
Fundamental system of government
Quite incidental
Eva: So go if you're able to somewhere unstable and stay there
Whip up your hate in some tottering state
But not here dear
Is that clear dear
Oh what I'd give for a hundred years
But the physical interferes
Everyday more oh my Creator
What is the good of the strongest heart
In a body that's falling apart
A serious flaw I hope you know that

Fundamental Humans
Fundamental Christianity
Fundamental Islam
Fundamental Judaism
Fundamental Buddhism
Fundamental?
What happened to fundamental humans?
Why so many God brokers?
Have humans forgotten how to speak directly to God?
Jihad?
Crusade?
Inquisition?
Forced missionary conversion?
Dogma?
Why have so many innocent people died in the name of God?
Fundamental religion has robbed fundamental humans,
of their sovereignty, freedom and connection to God.
An age nears;
When people awaken to inner truth
Establish a personal relationship with Creator
Restore balance within themselves
Restore balance to Mother Earth
Establish a lasting peace
Indigenous people around the world have been right all along;

Keeping Hope Alive!
A person without hope is inwardly dead,
keeping hope alive.
There's nothing,
nothing,
that anyone has ever done
without the power of hope.
Hope is always about
a desire for something
you don't have.
If you can't imagine it,
you don't hope for it.
Hope is that thing
that keeps us going
and keeps us believing
in our potentiality
when you loose hope,
you get depressed, and when you lose
enough hope,
you die.
Hope beyond hope.
A hope that can keep you going
when you can't find a reason.
Hope is a state of heart that
always keeps you positive.
When we are without hope,
I think we erect a wall
around ourselves.
The economy is limping,
benefits are at risk,
the national mood is bleak,
collective depression,
egoism,
greed
and self-righteousness.
The future isn't bright,
and the solution isn't visible.
Hope has diminished,
especially around business people.
They are angry and frustrated.
There's a lack of confidence
in what can be done,
there's a sense of loss
of social justice,
and this goes deep
into the soul of America.
The government has not justified
in the public's eyes,
the need to reform system
and how far this reform goes.
American people pride themselves
on integrity and fairness.
Create Hope.
Let's Keep Hope Alive!

My buddies (a reply to Boris Slutsky)
All young white men at a time
was forced into the military, into war
or had to serve a three year jail term
and most of my buddies came home,
but some did not:
Parachuting into a enemy camp
there was one close friend that died,
the other three I hardly knew
and to the government it was
an incidental small thing against
seven hundred and fifty
enemy SWAPO and Cuban casualties
and on one patrol one close buddy
stepped on a landmine
were blown up and no one else was hurt,
and to the government it was
an incidental small thing against
the enemy that had lost
little lest than a full platoon.
In Angola when we met enemy armour,
turned FAPLA / Cuban divisions
under Soviet leadership into junk
I saw a Ratel armoured car
that was trapped in a landmine field
that had been shot out
with the holes
were enemy tank projectiles went in
and every one inside was burnt, incinerated
if not blown to bits, turned into ash
and it had been only one of eleven
armoured cars
and troop carriers that was lost
some of only thirty-one soldiers dead
but there was pain that flashed through me
when I saw it
and to the government it was
an incidental small thing against
four thousand seven hundred and eighty five killed
on the Cuban/FAPLAN side,94 tanks
and hundreds of enemy combat vehicles destroyed
and now no one thinks
of the sacrifice that all of these soldiers made,
of the hundreds of thousands
of returning citizen force soldiers
who were nuts, bomb happy
with post traumatic stress syndrome
or whatever you want to call it
as to the government it is
an incidental small thing,
that happened in a distant past
as if the ex-soldiers are non-existing,
even seen as apartheid criminals by some.
[References: Buddies here used as name used in the South African Defence Force for comrades. Ex-soldiers here used instead of war veterans, as in African circles the word war veterans has got a new derogatory meaning connected to it. My Comrades by Boris Slutsky.]

I'm Tired Of It All
I am tired of it all
I am tired of today
I am tired of the summer heat-
I am tired of all the years of trying to be something
And still being nothing and no one
I am tired of myself and my ambition
I am tired of reading the great poems of others
I am tired of Poetry
I am tired of being old
I am tired of no longer having the means to help those I care for-
I am tired of having written for so many years
And having so little to show for it-
I am tired of being an old man getting older -
I am tired of being afraid of what is going to happen to me
And those close to me
I am tired of having so many sick friends-
I am tired of having more and more people I have known who are dead
I am tired of a world in which violence and stupidity play such a great part
I am tired of all the problems that should have been solved years ago
And yet persist-
I am tired of cruelty
I am tired of rudeness and petty selfishness
I am tired of seeing the evil get away with it
I am tired truly tired
Tired of being tired also
Tired of myself and my complaints-
And my failure all these years
To make things right-
And yet and yet with all the tiredness
I know there is so much else even in myself-
I still want to live and dream and hope and help those I love
I still want to write still a few lines of poetry
that will be read by others
And help them
Dream to begin again
I still want to give to those I love
The little I still have to give
I still want to live
For life itself is life itself is still good
Despite the tiredness.

Were There Hope
I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.
But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

Why Do We Live This Way
[ verse 1: grand wizard dj ready red ]
Can you take it? how can I be strong
When I see many things in the world is wrong?
You know the love in the hearts is a thing of the past
And living like this, how long can we last?
Some are content to the way things are
Well, not me, you know the road is far
Take off your blindfolds and start to see clear
Times windin down, and the end is near
Me speaking fact not fiction, pay attention
Our world is in a critical condition
Understand prejudice is rumor and lies
And over this evil many people have died
You know what bloods been shed over he-said she-said
I dont let lies fill my head
But you say its like that and the way it is
Well, thats my point, theres no love to give
I say
[ chorus ]
Why
Why do we live this way?
You know the killin and fightin
Why
Why do we live this way?
You know the love is gone
Why
Why do we live this way?
Weak you have to be strong
Why
Why do we live this way?
[ verse 2: grand wizard dj ready red ]
A family of five tryin to survive
They had 30 days till the welfare arrived
Father was gone and nowhere in sight
And to the little kids it just wasnt right
You know the mother was wise to hide the cries
Taught the kids well bout livin in hell
Took on the problems from day to day
And then at night to the lord she prayed
You know Im livin in a world that doesnt even care
Too many damn problems for me to bare
Should I be strong or should I be weak?
Or just ride the problems, go from week to week
You know I read in the papers just the other day
About a lady who was killed, it went this way
Say little mrs. brown who never did a thing
Was shot and killed over a wedding ring
Yeah, it really was a shame, but whos to blame?
Cause its just another story that the worlds insane
Youre sayin its like that and the way it is
But thats my point, theres no love to give
[ chorus ]
Break it down
(children grow and women produce
And men go work, and some go stealin
Everyones got to make a livin)
[ chorus ]
(why)

There Is No Such A Thing As A Truly Evil Person
There is no such a thing as a truly evil person though some in their life's journey have gone wrong
The worst of criminals do have some good in them not everyone can be mentally pure and mentally strong
Some morally damaged from their tough upbringing life's circumstance condemns them to a life of crime
They spent their teenage years on poverty street homeless and behind prison bars they spend their prime,
Not everyone are born to good parents in life they never did have a fair chance
Inlucky enough never to have a fair go the victims of the cruelest circumstance
'Tis easy for some for to be judgemental some seem to enjoy putting others down
But these people can count themselves lucky that they were not born on the poor side of the town
Where it is near impossible to become a success and where the majority are destined for to lose
Reminds me of a Native American saying never judge one until you walk in their shoes
'Tis easy so easy to call one evil as words are so easy to say
But hear no evil speak no evil a saying I recall from a very long bygone day
There is no such a thing as a truly evil person all children they are born free of sin
But human life is not unlike a horse race many must lose for one to have a win.

Once In A Lifetime
"I know I'm a down and out, wet and freezing cold,
but what do you want from one who feels so old.
Go away, leave me alone, so I can get some sleep
and maybe with luck God will my soul keep.
What do you want? I've got nothing at all for you,
even my aching body is aged and worthless too.
Maybe you're a Samaritan here to do me a good turn?
Oh go away, I'm too old to change or learn."
"What would you say if I could make you well again,
give you a younger body free from pain? "
"Do you think I'm mad or are you completely insane,
who do you think you are to make such a claim? "
"I am not an empty vessel; I only say what I can do,
and I will help you, but you have to help me too.
Ah, I see you're thinking… well, what do you say old man?
No one else can offer this, there's only me that can?
If you turn me down you'll be dead in a very short time;
what've you to lose, why should you decline? "
"And I suppose all you want is my God given soul,
my only possession that's undamaged and whole.
Throughout my entire life, it's been of no use to me,
and yet you want it, in exchange for my misery."
"How did you happen to know it was your soul I desired,
do you believe the stories that I'm by evil inspired?
You people have been grossly misinformed about me,
if I was really evil would I set your pain free,
give you a new life, guaranteed for three more years,
why, such a deal would reduce any man to tears.
Come on old man, before it's too late, what do you say,
are we going to make a deal before you slip away?
Your soul is worthless to you when you're dead and gone,
this is your last chance to live a new life from now on."
"If we can agree to five years instead of three for my soul,
what will happen to me when I've paid my toll?
Will my soul burn forever in that place they call hell,
be tormented and tortured, like I've heard tell? "
You don't want to listen to malicious fairy tales and lies,
which are used to frighten children and the unwise.
As a collector of souls I've been stigmatised by what I do
by the so called honest and religious amongst you.
The truth is hell doesn't really exist, so no one goes there,
and all the other stuff is just a religious scare.
So, with the souls I gather I simply unite them together
so that as soul mates they can remain forever.
"Is it true that we have to have a contract signed in blood,
with everything agreed and understood? "
"This too is superstitious nonsense and it gets under my skin,
but if that's what you want, it's a good way to begin.
"In this modern age a teardropp to seal the contract will do,
and from this day all I promised will be granted to you.
And in four years from now your soul will become mine,
so make the most of your life, and have a good time."
The following four years passed by as though one day
and the payment of a soul is due without delay.
"Hello my friend, you look exceptionally well and healthy,
your four years has not been a waste of time I see."
"I've had an excellent time and I want to thank you a lot,
but is it possible to postpone the contract we've got? "
"How dare you have the audacity to take me as a fool,
do you honestly think I'll break a fundamental rule?
Now listen old man, a deal is a deal and that's a fact,
and its all been signed for in our contract.
Now give me a sealing teardropp from your eye,
and then we can say our last goodbye."
"I'm sorry, it's not medically possible I have dry eyes,
and operations have in vain been tried."
"This is no use to me! I've said it before, a deal is a deal
you'll have to sign it off using blood as the seal! "
"I won't sign in blood, things are different in my life,
I have responsibilities, including a new wife."
"But all these things were made possible because of me,
you owe me your soul and that's how it will be!
Okay, okay… I accept that I cannot have it this day,
but the moment you die you will definitely pay,
and don't go away thinking that you have outwitted me,
your soul will soon be mine, you are not accident free."

Live Or Die
Take one breath
One fundamental sign of life
Dont look back, dont analyze
The tears that you cry
Only the strong survive
The silent sacrifice
And i, I will be your heart of steel
But power has a price
Aint it time that you believe in someone
Aint it wrong to let the years go by
Standing face to face forever
Live or die
(chorus)
Hold me like a child
Im not alive until you do
What you hold in your hand is a miracle
And its dead if I dont have you
Hold me like a child
Swear you never let go
Youre the eye of the storm
The reason I laugh or cry
Live or die
I will stay with you
Take one breath
One fundamental sign of life
No bad blood
No pain can make you draw the knife
We got a world of trouble
But I will never change
And even if we fall tomorrow
We will rise again
Now is the time we show each other
These are the words I kept inside
Standing face to face forever
Live of die
(chorus)
Live or die
I will stay, with you
Take one breath
One fundamental sign of life
Dont look back
We love each other live or die
Hold me like a child
Im not alive until you do
Live or die
I will stay with you
Take one breath
One fundamental sign of life
Dont look back
We love each other live or die
Hold me like a child

Hope At It's Strongest
Hope is the thing that keeps us going
Hope is a poem without any words
Hope is what follows us everyday
Hope is the light that sparks our eyes
Hope that it will all get better
Hope that you will find love
Hope that people will be kind
Hope that you will stay alive
Hope is the strongest thing of all
Hope will allow us not to fall
Hope will rise against anything
Hope is like a fiery ring
Hope never stops
Hope is always there
Without it we would be lost
Without out it we would not care

Dream Tomorrow
I shall think it a dream tomorrow
I wont believe you returned
That once again I saw and touched you
And youre so unconserned, unconcerned
You must have known that your cruel silence
Would be so hard to bear
And yet you let me wait, you let me wait and
Wonder
Neither here nor there, here nor there
I came back with just one intention
For one last look, one last taste of you
Revenge on those who still despise me
And take my own life too
But theres a long and twisted journey
Between this callous thought and deed
And youre a sweeter way to give me
All the things I need
Two ambitions coincidind
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
How I hope its no dream tomorrow
But Im scared the light will fade
And today will be a vague recollection
Just a fools escapade, escapade
I never cared much about the future
Yesterday was always there
So when you give me hope, hope or a promise
It just isnt fair, isnt fair
Any plan, any calculation
Any plot or device at all
Runs into anothers dream
Runs into a wall
No matter what premeditation
In our three score years and ten
There are only fractured moments
Wed want to live again
Two ambitions coinciding
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore you faith again

Fallen Angel's Song
I once had wings to fly
but now on the cold black ground I do cry
no comfort, no joy
feels like I'm the Devil's new toy
why did I believe his lies? Let him convince me to turn my back to my Father
O Dear Creator hear my plea, please hear my holler!
I am so very sorry
please won't you forgive me?
look at me crying here
how I long for you to be near
O Father can't you hear me?
how I am so sorry?
I know you'll never let me come back home
but Father please show me you haven't left me all alone
Father, oh Creator do you still care?
though I am here and you are there?
Father do you hate me?
O I have failed you, give me my deserved misery
Father I hope one day
that you might look my way
at your fallen angel here
hoping against the knowledge that it will never be that my way you should peer
O Father please forgive me

Kiss Me Now
(g. fuqua/k. lupper)
Kiss me now
While my lips are burning up for your sweet taste
Kiss me now
Long to feel the firey aid of your embrace
Kiss me now
That youre someone very special in my life
Kiss me now
Love you and I want you by my side
Kiss me now
Love me now
I aint had no loving on since yesterday
Baby tell me how
You expect someone to live a life that way
Each and every day baby
Ive been hoping that you will give in
Give in, give in, give in
You mean more to me than just a friend
Kiss me now
Ive been waiting too long
Years my dear, my dear, my dear
Ive been very lonely
And I wish that you were here
So I could hold you near
Ive been hoping that you will give in
Give in, give in, give in
You mean more to me than just a friend
Kiss me now
Kiss me
Somebody, you gotta kiss me now
Love me now
Ive been waiting too long
Years my dear, my dear
Ive been very lonely
And I wish that you were here
So I could hold you
Hoping that you will give in
You mean more to me than just a friend
Kiss me now
Kiss me now
Kiss me now
Kiss me now

Jesus Christ Is Lord And Savior
Dear friend, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,
And indeed my friend, He is both man and God.
The cross for Him was simply just one endeavor,
And now Christ is coming back with an iron rod.
This time when He comes He will reign forever,
In the very land, that The Savior once had trod.
Present plans and treaties of man He will sever,
Not as a man who died but as The Eternal God.
He’s coming back to earth to set up His Kingdom,
And He will reign from Zion one thousand years.
All who reign with Him are all who chose to come,
It’s the word of prophets and Old Testament seers.
But first this earth must be judged by its maker,
During the time known as the Great Tribulation.
Evil will be judged along with every evil partaker,
To be totally destroyed through much devastation.
After seven years The King shall be ushered in,
During Messiah’s Rule many still will not believe,
As man will still have a deceptive heart deep within,
When Satan is loosed many again will be deceived.
But he will be cast into the fire along with evil sin,
And earth will be free of sin for all who truly believe.
Lead by Christ all believers will be ready to begin,
An endless life of joy forever through all Eternity.
Father (sunday Prayer)
Father once again I come to you to ask yet for more blessings. Oh Lord is there no end to what I ask for. Each day new problems, new heartaches, more devistation, molestations, murders, drug use is increasing instead of decreasing.
Father God people are forgetting their purpose in life, they are lost. Father many years ago, your son asked you to forgive them for they know not what they do. Father when will they know what they're doing.
I have a difficult time Father looking at the news and reading of unnecessary killings, of a body found in close proximity, a body missing the head and very badly beaten. Father God what kind of a person does this. Satan is so busy and still finding a following. I'm
concerned at the minds that he is still able to poison.
Today Father I pray that you take total charge and stop him in his tracks, that you cause these people to take a step back and think before they act. That you cause these people who may be suffering from mental disorders, to seek help and allow the medical Doctor's to do what they are best trained for.
Father we need people that can show compassion, love and care to others and not to think of ways in which to harm them.
You my Father are so much more powerful than this evil being, please knock him out of the way and teach him a lesson.
I know you are listening Father and I know that you will take care of this evil when the time is right and only you Father know when that time is right. I will never question why you do things the way you do. I will hope that I will see positive changes in my time.
Father let me see people embracing and caring for each other instead of beating and killing each other.
You are the most high, the most intelligent, the king of all kings and I will trust in you and follow you all the days of my life. Father God I truly have faith and will continue to follow you and love you. I question you not. Father I ask this in the name of yoru precious son 'Jesus'

Fire of Stone
limit my day of stay; I am not a stone but
a fire that close and kindle the cooled Heart
in your beautiful dream; the road comes to
dark without the light, dear someone …
long did I wish for your presence, as far
as the distance of the ocean, I travel up and
high in the blue sky I fly, just to be with
your side, dear heart …
lend me your moment, and guide my
ways to reach you, wherever pain I rejoice
for nothing will soften my heart, than to
love you deep in my soul, my dear hope my
hope …
I come to float far beyond the wrapped
in your vintage arm, and follows the breath
with you dear goodbye; that day will be the
forever you, my dear love …
flow my spark, for I will be in your fire …..

Parting Thoughts
When I was young and no one to love
I lost my way from the skies above
Pain I felt everywhere I went
I wish I could die and have my life spent
I thought to myself to give up on it all
And I wish I could
But I can not, not yet
The friends I have to hold still dear
Are people to remember for the rest of my years
If the demons do return back into my head
I will remember the swear that I have said
To keep and protect, to help and to do what is right
Even in the darkest scariest of nights
To keep them happy no matter the cost
To bring them home if they are lost
To give up the knowledge of knowing that I have done good
Because I know that is what anyone should
To fight back evil even at it’s best
Check that it’s safe before laying to rest
I will never share this information
Not even with my wife
Because she must not know that I have given up my life
My body must become sword and shield
To make all who oppose knell down and yield
I know that I did decide to put my life on the line
That’s why I thought of this poem in my last 7 breaths time
I don’t have a lot left for this poem
Now some people may claim I look at peace
Because last night we were attacked and I died
At least I kept her safe, at least, at least...
