I Dare You

I liked you but didn't say a word because of rejection.
I was scared of the lust infection.
You told people you liked me and wanted to go out.
So I wrote you a note to let you know how I felt.
Everyone was jumping down my throat to make the first move.
Instead of wasting my time waiting on you.
But now you ignore me and look past me as if I am a ghost.
The pain you are causing no one knows.
I fell in a trap once again.
My heart is slowly caving in.
I dare you to tell them you don't like me anymore.
I dare you to let your feelings walk out the door.
I dare you to have the balls to say it to my face.
Instead of making me feel like a waste of space.
I dare you to hug me the way you used to and feel nothing there.
I dare you to cause my heart to tare.
I dare you to cause tears to fall from my eyes.
Too late the last two you did and inside I slowly die.
Tears of pain stream down my cheeks.
Love puts me in utter disbelief.

Colonoscopy.....My Second One.....[LONG; Medical; Personal; Humor? ] Humor

Despite all that could've gone 'wrong', the procedure did go well,
And next week Dr. Kao, to me, the lab results will tell.
I left the office wide awake, and, without sedation, feeling fine.
As I walked some blocks to meet my wife, on a banana and muffin I did dine.

I'd suggest pre-op and post-op post cards to keep patients on right track,
Especially for us 'older' patients who, sometimes, perfect memories lack.
The pre-op handout I received could be clearer; ask me if you dare.
The post-op handout was clearer, but I almost forgot I had it, I swear!
The pre-op telephone call to me (ask me about it) Dr. Kao might abhor.
The post-op call was a nice touch, but might not have helped if I'd passed out at home on the floor.

It's been ten days at least and daily aspirin dose (I'd stopped taking) is overdue.......but
My bowel's remembered, pretty well, how to handle the food I under-chew.

Roger reacted well to my idea of hiding fake poop; it was a 'joke'.
I'm glad he didn't laugh convulsively and through my bowel wall poke.
It seemed a short 'procedure' after such a long home preparation.
Sort of reminds me of the frequently-long buildup to a short ejaculation!

We don't watch 'tv' much at home, but the tour of colon I enjoyed.
I trust the job was done 'right' as doc and nurse their skills employed.
Discomfort I had some, but minor. I never was a hurtin'.
Afterward I waited to 'pass the gas' till I was hid back behind bed curtain.

Birth Of Ecstasy

The feeling that I have is one many receive. This feeling I get whenever I contrive a simple essence of a sample that hallucinates my eyes. The feeling is a rush that have when its taken, lazy or ecstatic my body is left shaken, waiting for the next time my ecstasy is taken.

Thrills and chills I have even when its near, to harness that power it brings me, one of a rocketeer. I feel as though it is my friend even though it my seem as a frienemy, or may it is just my fiend a truly sneaky enemy. Oh ecstasy my ecstasy, why are you forbidden for me, why are you the one I want but is forbidden to see. Oh ecstasy my ecstasy you are fun for me, but we can not be for others my see what it means to be apart, or never together from the start.

Ecstasy my ecstasy this can not be our end. For this is only our beginning, the birth of my ecstasy, our relationship will extend.

All the young kids learn to dance in the combat zone
Never dared to take a chance
