The Useless
this drift of having to
write
without anything in mind
or purpose
sometimes
is actually life running like
blood in my fingers
in my brain
igniting nerves into
tiny fires
magnetic sparks of
electricity from
insignificant stones and
thrown away
twigs

Drift Away
Drift away, just drift away
Sometimes I wish I could just drift away
They say theres gonna be a river of blood
Its apocalypse now
So were waiting for the flood
The ice is gonna melt, the water gonna rise
And well all go to hell
So theyre keeping us advised
While the dollar falls down
The yen gonna climb
Its a moral decline
And Im losing my mind
I think Ill just drift away
To that island of my dreams
Live in total fantasy
Close my eyes and drift away
Back in the real world
Theres tension everywhere
And the smell of fear
Keeps hanging around and polluting the air
The man on the news is going over the top
Now hell say anything so his show dont flop
Wall streets down, so what
And according to astute market analysis
The worlds gonna stop
They shout the story to the nation
Pass on the panic to the population
This is the end of civilization
Its all over now
Chorus:
Meanwhile, I just drift away
To my island in the sun
Imaginary paradise, perfection
Sometimes I wish I could just drift away
Drift away (drift away)
Drift away (drift away)
Drift away (drift away)
Now all the politicians are running out of hope
Theyve burned all their bridges
Now they just cant cope
And who do we blame now were all going broke?
Its that man over there
Whos hanging from a rope
Newsmen winding up the nation
A little bad news helps circulation
Pass on the panic to the population
Its all over, its all over
Its all over now
Times like this, I just drift away
To my tropical fantasy
Living on coconuts growing on the trees
Sometimes I wish I could just drift away
Drift away, drift away, drift away
Its apocalypse now, drift away
Rivers of blood, drift away
And the man on the news is going over the top
Chorus

Electricity
Our one source of energy
The ultimate discovery
Electric blue for me
Never more to be free
Electricity
Nuclear and hep
Carbon fuels from the sea
Wasted electricity
Our one source of energy
Electricity
All we need to live today
A gift for man to throw away
The chance to change has nearly gone
The alternative is only one
The final source of energy
Solar electricity
Electricity
Electricity
Electricity
Electricity
Electricity

Writer's block
Have you ever felt
the need to write
Tho’ your fingers are leaden
And your brain won’t go
Have you ever concentrated
with all your might
When your mind feels deadened
And your creativity won’t flow
Have you ever felt
You’ve got no more to say
No more ideas
Buried deep in your mind
Well that’s the way I feel
And I know it’s not right
But I just can’t think of a single thing
….To write about tonight

Powerful Star
I see you powerful star in this vast universe
How you behave as a sweeping meteor
Ravishing me with your glare and air
How I hide away from your danger
How I am amazed by your absolute power
You have taken me in contempt
I am but this dust in space that
You want to take and be nothing
But a dust in your tails
You chide me you see me as nothing
You spit over my being so tiny so insignificant
But mind you powerful star
I have you always in my mind
Waiting for the Big Bang when at the end
I can be the Sun and you beside me
What can you be but be so distant
At the end, so trivial so insignificant!

I Will Not Die Ill Stay Alive!
i am not strong im weak.
weaker then anyone knows.
they say im the one who will all ways get out alive.
but this time no one will get out.
the only thing i can do to get out is run for my life.
i will not die here.my life is with my love there for i will survive.
now im running for my life.
running
running
im running a never ending path of hell.
flames are high.
they burn me as i run by.
i can feel my skin go numb with the pain of fires ruff
im still running it seems like i have been running for days.
but in realty its only been hours
im not beginning to fade with out even notice.
my soul is pinned in a tiny cage
breaking my freedom and faith
but im not giving up for my love is waiting.
i see a light
the fear is sinking in now.
my heaet is beating faster and faster.
and then........................................
. ................
..........
....
.
im with my love and our family once again never to be hurt again for my soul had been restored and my life is stronger.

for loved ones and ppl who knows the feeling!
Fear
When I was little,
My life was half fear.
My nerves were as brittle
As nature may bear.
Shapes monstrous would follow
My footsteps alone,
And night, huge and hollow,
Yawned cold as a stone.
At trifles I started,
For nothing I wept,
And terror departed
Not all when I slept.
Now I've grown older,
My nerves I restrain.
My pulses are colder,
And clearer my brain.
Yet still with a shudder
I drift through the dark
And fear holds the rudder,
A-guiding my bark.
The world's so enormous
In multiple whole,
What god can inform us
It cares for a soul?

If Brain controls Body, Think, who created Brain And Controls it!
Gaining control over flesh and nerves,
the spirit that raised us from dust,
Is it not true that the spirit that dance,
this clay toy is moved by the light within!
Closing eyes see with divine eye,
The one who created light, shine,
running through nerves Her will,
motion controlled by currents!
your talent is its talent,
your dance is its dance,
if brain controls flesh,
think, who created and controls brain!

Those With Fruits And Leaves
what then is the purpose
about those who have no leaves
or fruits
those bald ones
those dried twigs
brown leaves
and broken stones?
they are part of the choirs
of nature
each has a gap to fill
a place to rot
to shine
to hit and awaken.

Spontaneous Electricity (The Journey)
every time i reach what i think
is the end of my road... something
happens...
storms come, destroying everything
behind me. the moon comes out, and
i find another fork in the path.
voices whisper, and tell me it's
going to be all right... just keep
walking...
i find i own nothing, not even the
clothes on my back... my memories,
merely twigs for the fire.
and what i thought i knew, no more
than tiny sparks in the darkness...
so letting go, i move on...
tired, and weary, too often alone...
i want to pray, but keep looking inward.
i stop to rest, and look up... that same
star from long ago... my spirit humming,
i rise up and go...
tonite, tomorrow, perhaps the end is near,
perhaps far... and i've come to know...
that life is but the journey!

Tilting Windmills
A few
scribbled words.
Puny insignificant
things.
In themselves.
Yet spiritual vibrations
signalling divine power!
To rock capitalistic nations
structured exploitation crime core!
Covetous entrenched foundations.
Bullets by contrast
at their optimum.
May produce
only deadfall.
Steaming felled corpse.
Life crushed
can be taken
only once.
Guarded man
may so easily
be struck down.
But dreams
craving truth
cannot be silenced!
Visions dreamt
born to life
suffer birth pangs!
Even those garmented
in martyr’s blood!
May elevate
laboured protracted existence!
A few scribe
scribbled words.
Puny insignificant
tiny things.
In themselves.

Something Visual
Something visual and so vivid
Are still hard to write
One shot in film
Would have been easy
To picture curves
And tangential lines
That even criss-cross
Using words
Is a big challenge,
Like
Capturing a crocodile
On a fish net, it would even
Be harder using words
To capture illusive motions
Of white milk spilt on
Monochromatic tiles,
Or
The leaping of a fish
On the pond trying to
Eat a moth or a dragonfly
Hovering on a blade of
Grass and what about
Air,
Invisible getting
Inside my lungs, that
Feeling of life moving
Inside me,
And
What about
Blood running in the veins
To remove numbness of
My fingers,
All
These
Are challenges in words
In what to write,
To a jumping fish
Capturing, swallowing
A blue dragonfly,
Or
The air rushing
To my lungs,
Or
To the
Blood rushing to my numb
Fingers,
All these give a feeling
Of relief,
All
These somehow
Return life, and it makes
Us all feel good…
Something visual in words
Motions captured and colors
Brushed in word, in words
Something visual
And life-giving
To be caged in words,
Such will be your big challenge.

Conceit and Deceit
what i have in my hands
are only stones
if you search for more
pebbles
my mind can give you
but first
you must entice me
with a flower in your hand
for you to have stones
that soon will grow you
some leaves of sand
that soon shall show you
how pebbles can be flowers
too
what you have are only
flowers
a little bit lighter than
the twigs of their source
what i have in my hands
are pebble that give us weight
yes, weight is wisdom
and they are all stones

Spitting And The Principle Of Utilitarianism
it starts with a little agitation inside your throat
the nerves send the signal to the brain
for a clearer understanding of this tiny disturbance
reverberating this tickle
not really pain, this mass of liquids telling you
it is a saliva wanting to get out from your system
and all the nerves now keep telling you
there is no use keeping such a mass
of disturbance inside your throat
there is no need anymore
and the last thing you know
is what you did
without regret
you spit it out away from you

The Addiction To Write
THIS is my addiction: to write
my failure: sometimes i write without a direction
and my success: i am writing about everything
that happened here
without missing a thing
thru symbols and signs
when things i met are unbearable
thru stories to illustrate what
misery have others inflicted upon others
and themselves
thru poems that can speak what i do not wish
to tell you
this is my addiction: writing without a purpose
except to spend time with you
descriptive and not judgmental
letting the hours go and not imprisoning them in the
cells of my mind
accepting the fact that i am as insignificant as you
that we pass this way
and we do not really know where we are finally going
we hope that this is not just this
but that there is something beyond
we suspect but we kill it
we live each moment and so we live without fear
we are here because we are here
we step upon a path because it is a path
we think we think we always do this thinking
and it must not be for nothing
we think, we think.

A View
driftwood
with seven twigs
on the shore
as clear as glass
is the water
and all stones and pebbles
are visible
above
blue skies
so blue that the white cotton clouds
appear like sperm cells moving
impregnating
an earth-sky womb
and then
it rains
the water rises
the drift wood again taken
floating
gently to another shore
another island
of white sands
a coconut tree towers
to reach a waft of cloud
winds as cool as ice
sands slipping on the fingers
a leaf from a guyabano tree falls
on the mouth
of a sleeping woman
beside her
the man whose arms are enclosing
her throughout
the rainy night

Young Blood
Young blood where you going now
Young blood where you going now
I didn't mind it when you left me honey
But i miss you ain't the truth
I haven't give up hanging on the phone
But all i hear is the proof
*one more night and
I'm thinking what's going wrong
You say you love me but
Does love take this long
You paint a picture you tell a story
Oh the tangled web that you leave
I hear the whispers the candid talking
Arid i don't know what to believe
(repeat*)
**where do all these dreams have broken
Right or left it's stolen
Stop your running away
Young blood ooh tell me
Where you going now
Young blood ooh tell me
Where you going now
It's never never nothings forever
Turning gold in our hands
There's no magic it all seems tragic
'cause it's slipped through our fingers like sand
(repeat*)
(repeat * * twice)

What is poetry?
What is poetry?
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When words play and tend to run
It is mega-magnetic fun
Yes mega-magnetic fun
When readers show they are appreciative
Of playful words which are narrative
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When readers have come & gone
And all the votes have been cast and drawn
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When writers become inventive
With or without any material incentive
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
That is what poetry is about
It is mega-magnetic fun

Running From Yourself
life feels so great,
when you have that one person,
in your life,
that is not afraid to accept your baggage,
and tell you that it's okay,
to just be who you are,
when all of these years,
i've been running from myself,
running from being that innocent, caring, person,
i just couldn't handle being used again,
used for being myself,
it why i pretend to be somebody i'm not,
a person that can handle everything,
but behind close doors,
it's safe to fall apart and let go,
let go of everything that ever held you back,
so the next day,
you can wake up,
everything will be the way it started,
looking like life is together,
when really you just want to breakdown into pieces,
from all the stones that was thrown that day,
ppl jokes they thought were funny,
but deep down they hurt,
they can't seem to see,
the pain i hold inside,
and try to deal with,
becuz to some,
what happened in the past,
should just stay there and i should move on,
if only it was that easy.

Running And Running Away
running away
from honesty
not touching
anything
not touched too
by anyone
you keep on
running and
running away?
no one is reached
no one reaches
for you
you keep on running
and running away
from no one
but yourself because
what you touch
bites you
and what you love
is always a stone
thrown at you
and so you keep on
running and running away
from honesty
and having gained speed
you have become the
fastest lie
that even the winds of
the northern seas
cannot catch even
a glimpse of
who you are.
