The Suicidal In Him
too much intelligence is dangerous
my friend
too much idealism
detached from reality
one gets restless
searching for the Shamala
and the Shangrila
with a little sense of humor
the ability to be
one less of a perfect self
the capacity to laugh
at our errors
to dismiss what is so important
and just take things as they are
dabbling on the
prideless
unselfish away from a self-centered
universe
i guess, he could not have taken
his own life.

A Walmart Parking Lot
To laugh at life
You have to have,
A perpetual sense of humor.
If you laugh,
They say,
The life you live,
Will potentially,
Last much longer.
I am sitting in the dark,
Stranded,
In a Walmart parking lot,
And finding it,
Hard to laugh.
I cannot see the humor in,
My current situation.
I am desperately in need,
Of some comic revelation.
Then suddenly,
It dawns on me.
And I can see,
My poetry,
Is witty confirmation.
With words and rhyme,
I laugh at me,
And thus embrace,
Salvation.

Im Gonna Laugh You Out Of My Life
(cy coleman, joseph allen mccarthy)
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Laugh, and forget this affair
Guess I was foolish
To care.
So Im gonna dance you right out of my dreams,
Try to be carefree and gay
I guess Ill learn to play
The part.
cause when our friends begin that
Heartless rumor,
I know Ill really need my
Sense of humor.
Im gonna laugh you right out of my life,
Make it a beautiful joke.
No one will know you broke
My heart.
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard,
Ill cry.
~interlude~
But if I find you and i
Really meant that last goodbye,
Then Im gonna laugh so hard...
Ill cry.

You see, idealism detached from action is just a dream. But idealism allied with pragmatism, with rolling up your sleeves and making the world bend a bit, is very exciting. It's very real. It's very strong.
When you say a friend has a sense of humor do you mean that he makes you laugh, or that he can make you laugh?

Shangrila
Im bathing in warm liquid colour
Feel every cell in my body is music
Floating in hyperspacial sound
Visualizing the landscapes of my mind
Im opening the door to inner space
Im feeling the vibrasound
We can live forever
We can live forever
Strike that gong
We can live forever
Our love can live forever
In shangrila
Transform with inner guidance
To a place of peace and paradise
(oh what a feeling)
Relax let your thoughts drift away
(oh what a feeling)
Live in belief and harmony
(chance of freedom)
We can live forever
We can live forever
Stike that gong
We can live forever
Our love can live forever
In shangrila om
In shangrila om
Access your new state of mind
Dedication discipline
Searching the sensory science
Has resulted in shangrila
We can live forever
(forever & ever & ever)
We can live forever
Our love could live forever
In shangrila
We can live forever
(forever & ever & ever)
We can live forever
Strike that gong
We can live forever
In shangrila om
A piece of a dream
The color of green
The color of healing
In shangrila
Color of love
In shangrila
I feel the sacred healing chants
I feel the moment
Of my death
I feel the higher learning
I feel the realization of forgiveness
Compassion and loving kindness

Perfect friends.
A perfect friend will love you for who you are
not what they want you to be
A perfect friend tells you if something is wrong
they don't leave you hanging there
A perfect friend never diss you
they should always be there with you all the way
A perfect friend tells you they love you & will listen as you speak
not change the subject and talk about them selfs
A perfect friend can never perfect
but im gonna keep searching til'l i get closer enough.

It is who? ♥
It is not me but you
It is not you but the things you do
It is not the things you do but your love
It is not your love but the innocence you have
It is not the innocence you have but your reality
It is not your reality but your ability
It is not your ability but your creativity
It is not your creativity but your dignity
It is not your dignity but your appearance
It is not your appearance but your resistance
It is not your resistance but the way it has to be
It is not the way it has to be but ME
Yes me!
Fall for your ability
When I recognize your reality
Wish you could be mine
With the best life and sane
Yes you!
Make me down on my knee
Following you like the queen bee
Falling of my heart for yours
Much better know than previous years
Yes we!
Can do it in well
With the bright will
Never to had a fight more
Let us keep the life we adore

The ability to take pleasure in one's life is a skill and is a kind of intelligence. So intelligence is a hard thing to evaluate and it manifests itself in so many different ways. I do think the ability to know how to live a life and not be miserable is a sign of that.

You Always Need a Friend
You always need a friend
Someone to be by your side
From beginning to the end
Through the ups and downs of this roller coaster ride
You always need a friend
That is generous and caring
Who will help you fix what's ruined
And laugh at what you're wearing
You always need a friend
Who has a good sense of humor
And will put to an end
If they heard wrong of you in a rumor
You always need a friend
That you can trust with anything
Someone that you could depend
On and talk to about everything
This person should be treasured
Because they are your best friend
Their friendship doesn't have to be measured
Since they will be there until the end

Rembrandt laughing (based on the painting 'Rembrandt Laughing' by Rembrandt)
somebody asks:
how do you get to smile
and how do you get to laugh so often?
how do you get humor?
uhmmm…
you get that
if you
don’t take
yourself too seriously;
but if you think
you’re so important
(and you’ve got doctrines that give you importance;
and you’ve systems that make you important;
and you are a religious leader, perhaps?
or a serious follower who's hell-bent on going to heaven?)
then the goddess of humor and laughter
leaves you
and you’re left with greedy gremlins
that eat your heart out
…..uhhhhmmmm….I think

Laugh Out Loud
Have we lost our sense of humor?
We must laugh on every day.
For without laughter life is dull
Like a stage without a play.
Funny little quips that people say
are the gems that sparkle and shine
Right within a placid soul
that's in need of bright sunshine.
So laugh inside, laugh out loud,
Laugh whenever you can.
And when you think you've laughed too much,
laugh out loud again.

Everybody is a Critic.
Why do we oppose and judge others?
Nobody knows the answer,
Humanity comes with these trades
Which makes life on Earth tougher.
Most people think they know a better solution,
However, only a few have the right to the decision,
Which means it is a challenge only for those,
No matter what they choose, it is their work dose.
Everybody makes mistakes in the eyes of others,
Which is not important anyway,
It is the person with the challenge
Who has to learn what to do and what to say.
Some people have to make small decisions,
Some have to do big, important ones,
So, make your decision what is connected to you,
And stand up for it, follow through.
This is the only way you learn,
If you make decisions the best you can do,
In reality there will be always who don't like it,
So, be yourself, but always answer for your deeds too.
When people learns not to pick on things
And their criticizing they will dismiss
Then their soul will be at peace,
They'll enjoy their own life in perfect bliss.

Laugh Clown Laugh
Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,
make everyone laugh real hard.
Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.

Sweet Dreams
Sweet dreams are made of many things
The different thoughts that we constantly think
The very things that that lie in our fantasies
And create a thought that's tenaciously sweet
That we savor so much while soundly asleep
Things that can only happen in dreams
My sweet dreams are made of you
The perfect moments and the perfect gloom
The perfect place and the perfect dream
But whatever could be more perfect than you?
Is only what I can conjure in my sleep
Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
It's the time we find peace from every worry
It's a place where every story has a happy ending
It's a place where every person has a chance to be happy
It's a place where you and I have a happy ending
A cradle song before we sleep
And escape the grimes of reality
And the things that keep you away from me
Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
Dreams are the sweetest and life is life
In my dreams you and I are happy
But in reality... life is life.
Sweet dreams are made of many things
And mine are made of you
