The Reality Of These All

at night she tiptoes to the doors of
our waking thoughts
we are amazed at the images of light
eaten by the mouth of darkness
the Muse stares at the interplay of
good and evil
there is simply no word for who shall win
and then we are tired
our eyes begin to fail and our body gives in
buried in the darkness of the night

then we are taken in the world of dreams
where everything becomes possible
what we were not in those waking days
the dreams hand them all
broken hearts mended
fortunes flow
luck is abundant as the fish in the oceans
there is a crowd of success and bliss
but you know the limits of all these
soundless worlds

and those who refuse to wake up
simply die.

Days Are Exhusting

Days are exhausting
So much to do
So little time to do it

Light hours
Extinguish leaving only
Night

Sleepy and tired
Waking to another day
When light vanishes quickly

Waking to another day
With its own work
That must be completed

Wishing to simply stop
To not have anything to do
Just stoping for awhile

Darkness Of...

Darkness is not the darkness of night
it is the darkness of mind and soul.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of discrimination between poor and rich.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of dishonesty.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of aggravate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is darkness of corruption.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of indiscipline.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of animosity.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of inveterate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of perjury.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness that we all brought up inside us,
so, light the lamp of light inside you...

The Serpent

Dark night, planets are set
Creator prepares for the dawn of man
Youre waking up, the day of incarnation
Said youre waking up to life
Images he made to love
Images of gods in flesh
Man is wonderful, very wonderful
Look at him
Beware the future
Here is my world and its waiting for me
Paradise before my eyes
I am alive in a new born world
This heaven will always be mine
Im waking up, the day of man has come
Im waking up, the day of man has come
And God created man from dust
With a soul inside his mould
And God created womankind
The vessel of satans hold
Creator made the serpent wise
Evil in his tempting eyes
Man is wonderful, very wonderful
Look at him
Beware the future
Here is my world and its waiting for me
Paradise before my eyes
I am alive in a new born world
This heaven will always be mine
Im waking up, the day of man has come
Im waking up, the day of man has come
Dark night, planets are set
Creator prepares for the dawn of man
Youre waking up, the day of incarnation
Said youre waking up to life
Here I stand a child in a lonely world, oh no
Watch the serpent tempting me to evil
The guiding hand will help me on
Guiding hand will help me on
The guiding hand will help me on
Guiding hand will help me on

Midnight Has Gone

Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And...
Shines on minds the Sun.

Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And...
Shines on minds the Sun.

Midnight has gone,
In awakening days.
To move away those obstacles fading
Midnight has gone,
In awakening days.
To chase away the darkness...
And,
A pain once felt that has moved on.

Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And..
Shines only brightness from the Sun.

My Eyes

Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would reveal to you…
How much they’ve waited for you
Waking every night
And crying every day
For years together
And decades of
Thirsting for you
In their every expression
Of silent words they say…

Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would tell you,
How they felt tired and lost
In their diurnal crusade
Of looking at the empty streets
Ahead
And hoping to see a glimpse,
A speck of that fleeting image
Of you and you and only you.

Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would overflow with tears,
The moment they see their Beloved
In you
And they would narrate to you
In all Silence
How very much they missed
Seeing you…
When they opened
Their eyes every morning
After every night’s trial and error
Of falling asleep…

And then waking up
In the middle of the night
As if petrified of terror
Those broken dreams would cause
When they have to lose you
From their tranquil sleep to
The harsh, desolate reality
Of you not being there
For them.

Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they have nothing good to tell you,
Besides the pain and the agony
Of a lifetime separation
They have undergone,
Missing you,
Needing you,
And loving you like Crazy.

As if you and me
Were lost parts of a Body
And fragmented pieces
Of a shattered Soul
Trying to solve the Jigsaw
Of where to fit in the parts
Of existence, love and
Togetherness…

So that once if they meet,
They don’t fall into pieces again
And scatter away
Like the withered leaves
Of the autumn trees
Missing each other
Unto eternity
And searching each other
Unto oblivion.

Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For if you ever look into them,
Make them yours forever...
So that wherever they go,
Whatever they seek
Whoever they see…
The roads don’t look empty
Any more
Even amidst the crowd
Of teeming strangers

For no matter who is there
On the streets
At home
In the market
Or the library
My eyes would rest awhile
Seek respite,
In the Assurance
Of the Sight
That You being there for them
To kiss a good night’s
“sweet dreams”
At the end of their
Daily sojourn
Of meeting people
Reading books
And writing poetry…

Like the way
I am writing to you now
With those very same eyes
That await you everyday, my love
In their dreams, desires
And those very Silent -
Endless flow of
Ceaseless tears…

The House That Does Not Speak About Anything...

how time swiftly flies without wings of birds
i wake up at dawn lacking sleep

into writing, into deeper thoughts on soundless hours
and how fast, how fast has morning arrived
i am innocent
how stupid can i be
inventing hope and trying to modify the shape of my days

the lights of the door and the kitchen are not turned off
the neighbors are worried

i am home but i am not opening the windows and the door
i am into writing, into the deeper thoughts of my soundless hours

let the neighbors think that i am on vacation again
for weeks

i am into a waking slumber gathering dreams, ripe fruits of sleep
of the waking and sleeping again and again

i love a house that doesn't speak about anything that cannot
remember anybody

the dark loves me.

The Nightmare

The job
Waking up when you’re fired
Leaving office when you’re tired
Reaching home when you’re wired
The shadows of the day mired

The horror
That concludes a day’s strains
And the anxiety
That follows the soul’s trail
In the darkness full of pain

The game
Caught up in the middle
With nowhere to go but the centre
With nothing to do but playing on
For a reward that is peanuts

The highway
Taking the paths of worries
Feeding on a meal of anxieties
Buried in a grave of pity…
WAKE UP, WAKE UP from the night mare!

The sunrise
And it is no longer dark
Rain fall
And the land is no longer dry
WAKE UP, WAKE UP from the night mare!

Morning thoughts

Morning thoughts
~
A sun rises over roof tops
Greeting the cold morning air
A wind blows heavy, swaying trees
The branches stripped bare by winter
The world is slowly waking
And the picture beyond my window
Emerges to life once more
I lay motionless in silence
Nursing warm coffee in my hands
Early thoughts begin to stir
My pen yet to be put to paper
I think back to dreams
The night passed what they brought
I think to the day ahead
What will it bring
Thoughts of love and romance
What could I write of them
I watch a world waking
A sun rising over rooftops
And I listen to my thoughts

Chasing You Into The Light

Lying next to you in the dark
Listening to your pounding heart
The sheets are tangled around your waist
I watch the dream moving on your face
Feel you shake, hear your cries
Running in the dark trying to open your eyes
Come on baby, wake up
Ive followed you across the days and years
Been there for the thrills and the tears
Chasing you from state to state
Waking, dreaming, I try to relate
Why should I be somebody you fear
When youre asleep and Im so near?
Dont even know why Im in your dreams
I got control over none of these things
Morning comes, hard and bright
And Im exhausted from running after you all night
Chasing you into the light
Yeah Ive been reaching for you baby
As if I could reach you when you dream at night
But I never can quite
I aint lying here awake by myself
You better wake up
Theres something I want to talk to you about
You better wake up
I love you girl, tell the world I do
Theres nothing I wouldnt do for you
I want to rescue you like you rescued me
From a life of doubt and uncertainty
Thats why Im chasing you
Chasing you into the light
Go for a walk on the pier with me baby
Now as the dawn comes over the night
Watching the stars in the sky disappear maybe
Youll find a way to let go of your fright
The sea is deep, the world is wide
Ships are leaving for the other side
This whole city will be waking soon
And in the east
Clouds are strung out behind the moon
Chasing her into the light
Wake up

Azrael

Long ago - in another life
I was innocent - just a child
Transformed my brain into an evil thing
Now Im a creature of the night
Im a shadow in the darkness and Im watching you
Though you cant see me I am always at your side
When Im on your heels - you see how it feels
To sense the curse of azrael
In the night - Ill come to you
Your life belongs to me
I wake you up - you stare at me
Im the last thing that youll ever see
The panic in your eyes that I have hungered for
Shows me you have realised the truth
Death comes to the dying - and before your eyes grow dim
The last word on your lips is azrael
I will destroy your dreams
I will destroy your mind
I will destroy your soul
And then Ill take your life
Sometimes I remember the life I had before
I asked myself was it just a dream
When I close my eyes I see an ocean flowing blood
And in my sleep I hear those fearful screams
So lock your doors - remove the keys
I doesnt matter if you leave or stay
Wherever you go Ill be expecting you
Your resistance is the spice that I crave
When you imagine theres a movement in the shadows
The light around you is weakens more and more
Prepare for the arrival of the uninvited guest
The angel of the darkness - azrael
I will destroy your dreams
I will destroy your mind
I will destroy your soul
And then Ill take your life, ...

As When From Dreams Awaking

AS when from dreams awaking
The dim forms float away
Whose visioned smiles were making
Our darkness bright as day;
We vainly strive, while weeping,
From their shining spirit track,
(Where they fled while we were sleeping,)
To call those dear ones back!

Like the stars, some power divides them
From a world of want and pain;
They are there, but daylight hides them,
And we look for them in vain.
For a while we dwell with sadness,
On the beauty of that dream,

Then turn, and hail with gladness
The light of morning's beam.

So, when memory's power is wringing
Our lonely hearts to tears,
Dim forms around us bringing
That brightened former years:
Fond looks and low words spoken,
Which those dreamy days could boast,
Rise; till the spell be broken,
We forget that they are lost!

But when the hour of darkness rolls
Like heavy night away;
And peace is stealing o'er our souls,
Like the dawn of summer day:
The dim sweet forms that used to bless,
Seem stealing from us too;
We loved them-but joy's sunniness
Hath hid them from our view!

Oh could day beam eternally,
And Memory's power cease,
This world, a world of light would be,
Our hearts were worlds of peace:

But dreams of joy return with night,
And dwell upon the past-
And every grief that clouds our light,
Reminds us of the last!

The muses kiss

Her beauty has stole my thoughts
Kept each word from my lips
While each kiss becomes a blessing
I find myself at a loss to speak
I long to lay beside her indefinitely
To close our tired eyes and sleep
That we may dream such dreams
We had never dared dream before
Beneath what moon we could lay
The open stars, the astral heavens
Full beautiful and endless
And there I see only my muse
She who swept in to steal my thoughts
Only to touch my heart in a way
That I had only previously believed
In each waking hour or dreaming state
I find myself, thoughts captivated
By the muse, those lips, her kiss
That have claimed my every word
Even that the heart forbids

The Railway Station

The darkness brings no quiet here, the light
No waking: ever on my blinded brain
The flare of lights, the rush, and cry, and strain,
The engines' scream, the hiss and thunder smite:
I see the hurrying crowds, the clasp, the flight,
Faces that touch, eyes that are dim with pain:
I see the hoarse wheels turn, and the great train
Move labouring out into the bourneless night.
So many souls within its dim recesses,
So many bright, so many mournful eyes:
Mine eyes that watch grow fixed with dreams and guesses;
What threads of life, what hidden histories,
What sweet or passionate dreams and dark distresses,
What unknown thoughts, what various agonies!

A Certain Someone

I see us walking hand in hand together
in every book I read and film I see,
but in reality, you are never near.
If I close my eyes, I can see us together
arm in arm and so much in love.
However, when I open them again
I realise it is only in my imagination
and you are never here with me.

Everyone has a certain someone
and I feel you are the one for me,
but waking up from my dreams
you are never anywhere to be seen.
When my dreams finally become reality,
everyone will be able to see
you and me walking together forever.

Until that day comes along
my arms will reach out in dreams,
for in that world you are mine
and loneliness is left far behind.
Tomorrow is another day of dreams
and longings over you.
Always just hoping I will wake up
and you will be here with me.

Is Ignorance Really Bliss

Godly Knowledge is rare today, as we're told that ignorance is bliss,
Take a look into some of the faces that you simply just can't miss.

As you look in their eyes, is there an inner peace and joy displayed,
Or do you see an unsettled darkness that almost appears engraved?

Your eyes The Lord had said are the windows to the soul, to see,
A little tiny glimpse my friend, of what kind of person they may be.

If his eyes are bad, The Lord said, his body is filled with darkness,
If this is so, I can assure you now that he is not filled with bliss.

If his eyes are good, again He said, his body is filled with light,
Therefore friend, I can assure you that he's on a path that's right.

Now that we are Children of God we no longer belong to the night,
For when we became Born Again we truly received new sight.

This new sight we receive brings a true understanding of our Lord,
He is the only one you see, who should not and will not be ignored.

To continue to willfully ignore The Lord's awesome revelation,
Will bring you not a life of bliss, but also eternal condemnation.

So ignorance my friend, is definitely not the path for you to take,
For those who do are the only people that He will eternally forsake.

So knowledge of The Lord, not ignorance, is the key to the only door,
To a life of bliss with The Savior down here, and life forevermore.

In Dreams

Roy orbison
A candy-colored clown they call the sandman
Tiptoes to my room every night
Just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper
Go to sleep. everything is all right.
I close my eyes, then I drift away
Into the magic night. I softly say
A silent prayerlike dreamers do.
Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you.
In dreams I walk with you. in dreams I talk to you.
In dreams youre mine. all of the time were together
In dreams, in dreams.
But just before the dawn, I awake and find you gone.
I cant help it, I cant help it, if I cry.
I remember that you said goodbye.
Its too bad that all these things, can only happen in my dreams
Only in dreams in beautiful dreams.

An Absence of Light

Aimlessly roaming all the day, desperately searching to find a way,
A way to make all things right, only to stumble back into the night.
Darkness invades all their sight, all because of an absence of light.
They begin stumbling along the way, even in the middle of the day.

Whether in the day or the night, friend, there’s only One True Light.
That Truth we continue to herald, Christ is The Light of The world.
All those who come into His Light, no longer stumble in the night.
Many refuse to come to His Light, because their deeds are not right.

Friend you can walk in the Light, whether it is the day or the night,
Just as Christ is in the Light, and we have fellowship in His Might.
Fellowship in The Living Word and a voice until all men have heard.
Let Christ’s Light fill your walk and The Living Word fill your talk.

You are a light set upon a hill and placed by Christ to do His will.
You are the light of the world, with the message of life to herald.
You are a preserving salt; to share the Truth we’ve been taught.
Sharing this one Eternal thought, life less Jesus comes to naught.

We have one urgent light to send, to all the darkness in the end.
The only way one finds this light, is at the cross of Jesus Christ.
If you remain in the dark my friend, Eternal Darkness is your end,
But, come into The Light of Christ, and you will gain Eternal Life.

Delia XLV: Care-charmer Sleep, son of the sable Night

XLV
Care-charmer Sleep, son of the sable Night,
Brother to Death, in silent darkness born:
Relieve my languish, and restore the light,
With dark forgetting of my cares, return;
And let the day be time enough to mourn
The shipwreck of my ill-adventur'd youth:
Let waking eyes suffice to wail their scorn,
Without the torment of the night's untruth.
Cease dreams, th' imagery of our day-desires,
To model forth the passions of the morrow;
Never let rising sun approve you liars,
To add more grief to aggravate my sorrow.
Still let me sleep, embracing clouds in vain;
And never wake to feel the day's disdain.
