The Private Rooom
this is a universe in itself
with all the planets around it and stars so distant
unlike before you scream alone
no help comes
be it the fireman or the medical aide
now the fingers run
to places where we have been hiding
to thoughts where we have once surrendered
because of debilitating weakness
now courage is silenced but inside
its throat
thoughts shape themselves like dough
and then the yeasts of memories make them rise
you smell the sweetness of the past
that wafts in all the corners of your room
and so
with all these shortcomings and refusals
to see light
to open the shutters you shall still live
and reap the fruits of your isolation
these are white flowers that bloom
in lonely nights
scented and still proud

Only Lonely
Only lonely by hootie & the blowfish
Hello again
Your words they make me smile
As I drift away
In my little room upstairs
Oh I spend my nights
Imagining your face, your touch
Then I realize
How I dont even know your name
If we could share our time
Would I disappoint your fantasies?
But I believe that I could be the one youre needing
cause im
Only lonely on the inside
Didnt mean to take away your dreams
Im only lonely on the inside
When you close your eyes to your deepest thoughts
And I could start to give apologies
For all the stupid things that I will say and i
Will do
If we should ever cross the same place at the same
Time
Would your world skip a beat cause it was me?
If we could share our life
Would I disappoint your memories?
And I believe that you could be the one Im needing
And im
Only lonely on the inside
Didnt mean to take away your dreams
Im only lonely on the inside
When you close your eyes to your deepest thoughts
If I could give back your hopes, your joys, your
Treasures
Dont you think that I would change my world?
But theres so many things trying to pull us
Together
And even though were far apart I can still watch
You walk away
Only lonely on the inside
Only lonely on the inside
When you close your eyes, what do you see?
Only lonely on the inside
Didnt mean to take away your dreams
Im only lonely on the inside
In your deepest thoughts, what do you see?
Only lonely on the inside
I didnt mean, I didnt mean, to steal your dreams
Away
Im only lonely on the inside
When you close your eyes, in your deepest thoughts,
Do you see me?
Only lonely on the inside, Im only lonely when
Youre gone
Only lonely on the inside, I see you babe, I see you
Only lonely on the inside, only lonely, only lonely
On the inside
Im only lonely on the inside

Myriad Thoughts
I sit here in myriad thoughts
dancing around my head
too fed up to put them to bed.
Thoughts of the past,
thoughts of the future too,
thoughts of things this and that
and thoughts of what to do.
Memories invade at times
of pastures long gone by
as the myriad thoughts
fill my mind with anger and with love
and times; I wish I could have lingered with
when my years were young.
Things pass in phases,
hearts entwine then fall apart,
seasons readily appear,
stay awhile and then depart.
Here I sit in a lonely waste
thinking thoughts of what might have been
if the crystal ball I look into had only seen.
Now the myriad thoughts appear
to haunt me in quiet times
and carry me to distant places
the world has left behind.
Those little specks of moments
that still linger from the past
that lay waiting to capture me
before the quiet time has passed.

The parachute
I get a brown parachute
and make sure that it’s folded right,
strap it to my back
and feel that it fits well.
You must make certain
that a parachute
can carry weight,
if it’s a parachute
I accompany a troop of soldiers
into a aeroplane
that takes of roaring from the runway
and we fly higher and higher
until the light first flashes red
and then green
and the aircrafts engines stop
while my heart beats in my throat
I get my turn
to stand at the open door
and see how the landscape
flashes past like a picture
beneath me.
Then I break through the wind
and count wordless
before my hand finds the pull string
and I fly on wings of silk
that folds open and draws me up.
The world lies small beneath me
and the wind swishes gale strong
and in my thoughts I fly up into the sky
past other parachutes
and the aircraft
while the clouds fold around me
and I go through the stratosphere
Later it gets chillier
and I can hardly breath
and I must be near
the mesosphere
In the vacuum around me
the earth lies
like a blue-white ball
at my feet
and I am past the thermosphere
and around me I see the universe
with stars and planets without number.

Your Thoughts
your thoughts
are keys
to the locks of my
doors that i closed
a long time
ago
you open them
one by one
and give life at once
to the dusty floors
your thoughts
make mine open to the wind
to the sun
i could have been
a broken house until your
thoughts
came like hammers
and saws
now i have a garden of flowers too
roses bloom
because of you

Dazzling
Within the fortress of my dreams
I paint the moon and a star upon my forehead as
I watch Saturn appear from
Behind the late evening's mist-
Where I am alone but never lonely-
At dawn I can see the sun rise
From behind the evergreens that
So magically decorate hills of fortune-
The sky at daybreak is inviting while
The nighttime sky is mysterious-
The sky in the land of my fantasies is dazzling,
Where I am alone but never lonely,
Watching stars emerge from behind clouds of prosperity, and
Venus and mars are aligned with the full moon
Illuminating the darkness-
on this mystical night.
Inside the world of my imagination-
I paint the sky a deep shade of cerulean blue and
The moon and star upon my forehead-
Giving me the utmost peace of mind-
Within the fortress of my dreams-
I shall be awake at daybreak to welcome the sunrise-
As I bid farewell to the nighttime's splendor-
My thoughts are always within the cosmos and
The sky of my own universe seemingly carries a tune-
A tune akin to the aura of Bach's Magnificat-
The star I have painted gives me peace of mind-
I am never lonely in the land of my delusions-
The nighttime sky is mysterious and
I carry inside my thoughts a vision that never leaves me.
Upon those sleepless nights I sing, dance and
Marvel at the beauty of my dream world's sky-
Surreptitiously dazzling-
At times when I feel threatened by others who wish me ill fate-
I just close my eyes and lose myself inside the
Universe of my fondest reverie,
Watch the planets circumvent the moon, and
That beautifully amazing castle in the sky,
Where I am free to enter and close the door behind me to behold
Another amazingly dazzling night alone- but never lonely-

Inside That Room
inside that room
clutters of old things
a conglomeration of dusts
silent stones
broken wedges
blunt shapes and sharp edges
inside that room
that silence we both shared
isolated moans
tongues lingering
inside that room
our memories
now the door is closed.
inside that room
the noise of insistence
the clap of a disaster
we disown
inside that room
the impregnation of tough thoughts
with soft laces
of ductile memories
inside that room
oh! there is no
us anymore.

Thoughts Just Thoughts0
Who am i?
A lonely vesicle
An open shell
Only to be filled with thoughts
Only thoughts
Thoughts capable of causing
Causing so much damage
Thoughts that falsify good intentions
Thoughts I hope will never cross
Even the darkest of people
But I continue to smile
It’s all we can do
But we are continually
Insisted to cry
We let our eyes fill
With salty waters
And lock those doors
We hide behind
Reassuring ourselves
Those others are on the outside
So we are stuck in this isolation
That is welcoming and intimidating
All at the same time we cry
We show our emotions
To no one but ourselves

When I Sit Here And Try Writing My Lines
i sit here again
trying to repeat what it is necessary to be repeated
face the screen
think about the past
rekindle
make more light
come inside me
adjusting the shutters
i am retracing what i had
the peace and the
quiet of my being
i just lost it
and i am trembling trying to explain
what happened
why my guts have become so emptied
and drained
why my thoughts are scattered like
machine gun bullets
not hitting any point
any pole
perhaps something
or someone will come along
and carry me
and help me find the map
towards
my castle my paradise
my resting place
my home again
i sit again and write some lines
perhaps they will have the courage and wisdom to tell me
why and how

Things Go... People Die...
mother
sun, center of your planets
revolving and spinning
orbits holding
upon the imaginary
poles
distances make
memories more
apparent
hospitable thoughts
come to the rescue
what you must know
is this:
there is more beauty in
your own
sorrow
mother
sun, soon fades,
darkness in your
universe
reigns,
but the stars
still flicker for you
when,
as expected, mother
sun is
gone.

Time Passes
Time is passing while I am waiting
For true life to have some meaning-
Time is passing and I blindly
Count to ten upon my fingers-
Not knowing and not even able to distinguish
What is real from what is not?
One, two, three and the voices inside me won't stop commanding-
Four, five and six-
All I see are snakes within the bleakness and confinement of this room-
Seven, eight, and nine, and even through this dim light I believe I am being watched-
I count aloud to ten upon my fingers and
Time is passing and all that is all that I hear for the moment-
All that I see, I reach out to touch or to open my eyes to see-
Time has passed and everything is silent, without a trace of
Ever being near and once more I count,
Starting at seven, eight and then nine- watching the second hand on the wall clock and
Ten? Ten more hours to be locked inside of this empty, room where
The walls are barren and I am alone with my thoughts-
Time is passing and I would be running away, but there is nowhere to run to, except to
Places inside of my mind and one, two three and all that I see is
The walls of this empty room and a locked door-
I could count from one to a thousand and
Inside of this room I would remain- I could count to one million and
I would die before I even got there- so I count from one to three over and over because
Everything is seemingly easier when I am lost inside the world of my fantasies and
I realize now what is not truly real and threatening shall never harm me and
Time is passing and as I count, I am blissfully losing myself inside the world
I have made here inside of my mind for myself, alone…
This way time may pass even before the sun rises tomorrow, and then-and then?
My life perhaps shall have some meaning-

Let Us Dance The Tinikling Then
the one without
the bamboo poles
the one
where we hum the music
of the tinikling
in your room
just the two of us
me without my pants on
you without your
inhibitions on
me without my shame on
you without your
second thoughts
me without my regrets
you without your future
me without my past
let us dance then
the tinikling
just the two of us
inside your
scattered room
let it be dark
let it be a dancing
with our eyes closed
with our fingers
crazy with our hands
open
with our hearts
stripped
(0r ripped off)
away from us

We Are Here Again
we are here again
gathering around the secret of the rose,
society's silenced few
the dews of the darkest nights,
flowers of the scarlet leaves,
here we are
shunning sleep
away from the mob
we are robbed
of the gob-
lets of wis-
dom, we too take the stances
of the philosophers, the murderers of
common thoughts, we shape the future of
our poplars, so unpopular are we
so misunderstood but we are not bothered,
here we are again
poets of the morning star

Chase Of Thoughts
A need for trying something strong
Atmosphere of total fury
And a white impulse burning inside
Transient lack of self - control
More and more perceptible irritation
Of a young nervous system
Trend of thoughts... light
All - embracing...light
Slowly waking up an animal instinct
- Slogan threat and the first attack
Quick more imperceptible pain
And scream of the murderer
Fear Subconsciously created making one run
Trend of thoughts...light
All - Embracing...light
Waking up a stronger - weapon now
Powder again releasing from
The deeper corners of the brain
The ones to blame
Absolutely Changed
Managed with emotions
Finally leads to terrible tragedy
Bestial murder no limits and light
Why turned towards me?
Last transient awakening
Showing a total absurd of the situation
Destroyed psyche weapon turned towards the
temple
Trend of thoughts...light
All - embracing...darkness

Lost In Thoughts
I feel lost
Lost no matter what I do
No matter how hard I try
I fall in a river of thoughts
I find your face
Memories I once though
Lost behind
I find memories of distant
Days that bring pain back
Those take me away
And I drawn in my river of thoughts
Lost in distant days
Once make cry
But also make me laugh
Come and get me back to you
Out of my thoughts
Were you exist
Were you are reality
It can not be so hard
So cruel
Out of my lost thoughts

Past, Present, Future
i lived in the past for so long
that the present was always unknown.
now i always look ahead at all the possibilities
and there is so much, that i now see.
a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel
and my thoughts being poured through a funnel.
the past is the past, and that's where it will stay
and in the present, we have to find a better way.
for the present will soon be our past
and if we don't do something, it will not last.
we must always look to the future
for it is only twenty four hours away
then it will be our past
and we have so much to do and say.
when i look at life, i truely have to laugh
today is our future and tomorrow it'll be our past.
now that i have you confused as to what i am
trying to say.
i guess i will try' to put it a better way'.
we all tend to procrastinate
always leaving it for tomorrow.
but! what if you don't see tomorrow.
and today you did'nt accomplish that task
how will you be remembered
if the present you left for last.
when we leave this material world
and our souls soar up in the sky
we will still have our memories
and that we can rely.
for when we get up there(if we do)
your soul will have carried all that you did
in this life
and the memories of friends, family
husband, or wife.
now when you look down on all that you had did
and asking yourself the question.
did i use my time, the way it was
meant to be?
or did i procrastinate, that others now speak of me?
we all have to work in order to survive.
but we must stop on occasion to smell the flowers.
and to enjoy all that we was given
otherwise how can you call this living.
(my thoughts: the words and stories were given to me.
so that i could write them down, for al the world to see.)
this is my philosophy.

Delusion
I would live forever beneath a rainbow if I could,
But if I became a dove, I would lift my wings and fly past that rainbow,
Worship the sun, play hide and seek with
Clouds of fortune and
When evening set in I would
Dance amongst the stars, search for the moon,
Let the light of the moon guide me towards
Some other planet and there I would make my home.
The rings of Saturn are enticing, and far more mysterious than
The seas and continents of the planet earth-
Saturn has always been the foremost and intriguing planet
Within the magical ocean of my dream world-
Yesterday I awakened at dawn, to find a rainbow on the horizon-
Its vibrant colors seemed to summon me, and Inside the world of my fantasies
I became that dove and soared upward toward the sky
Until I found myself hovering amidst that rainbow-
Its colors reflecting in the stream below-
But sad to say, rainbows always disappear and
I would find myself without destination wading in that stream,
That stream that leads towards nowhere.
However when I close my eyes to reality and once again become that dove,
I ascend in flight into the universe, my eyes fixed upon Saturn and
The rings of Saturn are so like a rainbow that is spinning
About this magnificently beautiful planet I would want to make my home,
I would live beneath a rainbow if I could,
And when that rainbow disappears I would take flight and find Saturn-
Saturn is amazing in its appearance and
Is glorious and extraordinary in all tales that have been told of planets in the universe,
Doves have been correlated with peace and I can see myself in flight
Safely in my solitude as I would be the first living being on that planet-
Its rainbow-like rings about me that I know shall never fade away-
I being the peaceful dove that has escaped veracity forever and
While rainbows on earth may be lovely to see, they are short lived-
The rings of Saturn shall always be there glistening, and enlightening night's darkness.
Inside my mind I have always dreamed of an incomparable place to call home-
A unique, far away place where I can bask in my solitude-
Perhaps I shall never be a dove flying about Saturn and rainbows always fade,
But when I close my eyes I shall always see many colors, stars and the universe,
And inside of my mind, fantasy shall transform to reality until the day I die-
And the day I die my spirit shall rise past clouds of fortune and
Shall live amongst the stars, Saturn and the other planets in the universe for always…

Coffee Courage
The bitter coffee kicked;
I shook and then I licked
My lips and gave a sigh.
Shattered eyes encouraged,
I nearly had envisaged
Waking up an eye.
Another sip; a jolt –
Not unlike a bolt
Of wattage from the mains.
My sockets under strain,
I tried it once again:
Aha! The light, the searing white –
My God, the bloody pain!

The Chaos Of Chaos
sun from another universe
to sun to another universe
the planets of the two universes
and even the distant stars
have always feared their fusion
but no matter what: love they say
has its own reasons of fusion
and whatever destruction is caused
to the surrounding planets and
neighboring stars, the wild rupture
the massive explosion, love they say
always triumphs with justifications saying
there is another new smarter beginning
and what is it but love & love just the same

As I Wait For For You
and then our minds met at a point
of convergence
i waited for you in a room without a number
a place without a name
a space where only us know what & how to fill
i am naked
you want the whole truth and so i am naked
in this room without a number, a place without a name
a space, where only our self-manifested emptiness know how & what to fill
when you arrive do not call my name
be so soft and gentle with your feet
do not even say your name as
i have also left my name somewhere else
and it is only i who knows it
i lose my identity
that is how i want to spend my short moment with you
i am naked
i only have my face, my skin and my flesh my bones my whole body
not my soul
do not knock
just push the door
it is left open throughout the nights of my waiting
i have intended it that way
so when you arrive and i am still asleep with my dreams and desires
of you
do not disturb the silence and sweetness of my sleep
just whisper your desire for love so sweet to my ears
touch the surfaces of my skin and caress with your soft fingers the smooth lines of my face
place your head just beside my tight chest
for there you shall hear the sounds of all my desires
and then my love we begin the sharing of our hidden truths
we shall dance in our nakedness
we shall make love real
we shall open the shutters of this closed window
we let the slits of light from outside the night get inside us and put some
warmth on the empty pores of our skins
we bring light to the darkness of our lives
we put fire to those eyes that refuse to close and die
