The Places Of Arrival

WORDS come like rain
upon the road the wetness runs
upon the head the rivers come
always running
nothing remains always going somewhere
nothing is left
as always the silence of the numbness
the self that is king
without land without a castle
the nudity of man
the insufficiency of his mind
the bareness of the soul
barren as sand
the dust of the bones
the air of the flesh
the catacombs of our existence
somehow our footsteps insist
about a direction
of a place
it is not there like fate that we
imagine
like aims
like visions that fade like mirage
when we arrive

Dry

Trying hard to face another day
No more left to give, nothing left to break
Melting in the sun, breathing in the day
Falling into love and climbing out again
Theres nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The rivers running dry
Theres no more left to give
Love has left me dry
Reaching out beneath a sea of pain
Riding high on waves of hope again
Chipping as the stone face cracks away
Crying out again as my bones break
Theres nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The rivers running dry
Theres no more left to give
Love has left me dry
Why is every minute like a year
What if we could save ourselves from this
Life is such a bitch and it gets worse
Fate is like a rope around your neck
Theres nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The rivers running dry
Theres no more left to give
Love has left me dry - love has left me dry
The rivers running dry again

Skeleton Coast

Footmarks in the sand,
White bones across the land,
Your sea is wild,
Your sands barren of life,
Wind swept, a land in strife,

My soul desolate as your beach,
Heart and mind out of reach,
Loneliness my only companion,
Leaves me without desire,
A lone Seagull reaches higher,

Isolated from my brothers,
Are my bones to join the others,
Oh where to go, what to do?
Will my treasures sink into the sand?
Lost forever to your land?

Rejected, I leave you with your decision,
Choices made, in derision,
A glimpse you had of my riches,
What help if they will not hear?
The cost will be made clear,

On I walk in your sand,
Sadness reaches across the land,
Regret has no place, leaves a trace,
My destination is uncertain,
When will be the final curtain?

Castle in the Sand

I built castle in the sand

Reaching to the far off land

I gathered the sand to mount it high

Thinking to built a castle in the sky

But fate took a different path

The castle I had built was down at last

The breeze blew

The castle flew...

I now sit here all alone

Gathering the sand to rebuild a home

But what a dream I did see

To always have him near by me

Spontaneous Electricity (The Wetness)

walking through the wetness,
rain falling softly.
the rhythm of the wipers,
the trees bow to the wind.

you and i, the sweat and the tears,
one hollow, the other echoes,
one fire, the other darkness kneeling,
identities merged, then torn apart...

ghostlike faces at the window,
children turn, and walk away.
the long silence deepens,
death waits just beyond and before.

mountains carved in forever skies,
crumble, ground to dust by time.
and no less we, dust to dust,
the great sweeper sweeps away our memory.

love was the answer, and sometimes not.
the cross and the thorns, the stolen moment.
now there's nothing left to talk about,
and nothing more to do or feel...

walking through the wetness,
i called the rain by your name!

Kill To Breathe

Completing life with cold blank eyes
My final thoughts race through my mind
With some brief visions of what's to come
Is there a light, it is just done?
I'm running away from what I can't explain
A new location, strange vibration from a different time and age
On a trip, in a dream far away, forgetting the preceding day
I'm being chased, can't move
I'm running in place
Running away
These endless days
The words were said, but I can't hear these voices in my head
Am I running away
Can't move, I'm running in place

This Poetry

this poetry is a hiding place
the only nook left for me
running away from
every creature of the
party,

i take my time
and i do not really mind
what i write
whether i rhyme

this is another monologue
something i keep saying to myself
how can i like this and that
how can i tell you
about what i want to say to you?
there is no way
no place no society
there is no other entrance
or exit
from these tangles and
strangles

it is strange i mumble
i scramble and dabble
talking to myself
and pleasing myself
this is my corner
i keep talking and talking
you watch the tv series
you cry alone and i do not mind
if tears flood in this room

this is my place this is my silence
this is the poetry of escapism

i assume the shape of the bird's wing
i keep on flying without having to find any place
any island any sea any shore

the words keep coming, they do not go anywhere
anyway, that is how it is intended to be
nothing for nothing
talking and talking
somewhere everywhere
alone and everybody

the rain pours heavily on me
no one gets wet no one runs for shelter
no one really cares
halter swelter

A Lonely God!

a lonely God...
from dust made flesh,
and filled it with
the haunting spirit of wind.
eyes that open
both in and out,
a fire kindled of bones!

who are we
to run blindly
into the sun?
to hide from the rain
that weeps for us?

idols made of fear,
the soul chokes the spirit.
we stand on the porch,
afraid to open the door!

dust and flesh,
wind and fire...
bones that cry out,
tears lost in the rain.

a lonely God...
walks away!

Fade Away From Me

Fade Away From Me

Fading away from me,
Walking through the rain,
Never passing to remember the sun,
Never looking at the sky to remember the blue,
You only walk away from me,
And fade away.

The agony has left my mind,
All I can do is stand in silence,
As you leave me behind,
In a world of nothing,
Leaving me in the nothing that remains,
The hardest part is seeing you fade away.

Rain falls around me,
Hiding the pain of watching you walk into tomorrow,
As I stand trapped in today.
Tears fall invisible in the rain,
I feel them flowing down my cheeks rain cooling where they fall,
Yet you only fade away.

Nothing hurts me so than you walking past everything we knew,
As you say goodbye,
You were my everything and now I see you walking away,
Although it can not be helped,
It can not be stopped,
As you fade away.

I must accept that you could not stay,
Your time here was over,
And soon in heaven you will lay,
But still it hurts me so seeing you walking away,
Seeing that you have become a spirit of what was,
As I watch you fade to grey.

Ocean Land

Before eyes that are blind no more
A sight unseen that tears the soul
All we ever loved and known
Into mass graves is what we're shown"
"We see an ocean once was land"
& So they come to understand
This place where man used to be born
Will be man's water throne
"All that was magical, beautiful,
will be gone"
These measures call for divine intervention
"All the achievements of man,
one will stand all alone"
One that survives the final selection
"The sand in the hour glass,
moves so fast, slow the sand
And nothing that mankind has strived for
will be left in ocean land"
The rain will fall then
Filling the dried land
"Here are we, servants three
flesh and blood
Poor and weak,
hear thou speak of the flood"
It must be a sign
A message from God's hand

A Victim of The Unseen Corner of Life

everyday i used to see her,
sitting on the sand,
playing with the dust of dreams..

her loneliness is growing up with her..
the other kids are playing on th field..

her eyes are following them as they run, jump and share fun..

her sad look falls down on the ground..

days went by..
none is there..
next the door..
they are still playing but she.. she.. she is.. where?

my little poor girl!
they hide her
in a tight room,
with her epilepsy,
with that monster
c
r
y
i
n
g
in silence..

12 years old
and the story of her cold
had been told
but they just said (her fate)

NO..!

it's not a fate
to live alone
in that pain...

it's not a fate
to feel nothing
except the four walls...

it's not a fate
to lose her happinness
next that door...

it's not a fate
to have none
by her side...

it's not a fate
to be frightened
in her little age...

it's not a fate
to be different
from the others
to see the future
as mirage...

It Is Not A Fate..!
it's not...!
there is a story behind
this fate;
it's their fault..
their own fault...

as once they killed her peace
before 8 dark scary years...!

Because You Never Talk to Me...

all that is left of me will be
bones suffering takes the flesh and breaks
the nerves the sad times long
enough shall mellow these
bones into powder decently turning
later into a hundred or more
dusts then you shall
identify with me for dust
too is your final destiny

everything you are shall be dust too
you too shall mellow

now is the best time to talk
in the common ground of our final existence
but it will be too late
the strong wind by then
has blown us all away
scattered specks
lacking the specifics....

Like My Father Before Me

Like my father before me,
and in the way that my son,
my daughter will do
I have sprouted from this fertile land

have felt the rain falling in big drops
upon the red-brown hot sand,
have smelt new life springing forth
from the wetness of rain,
from the wetness of human seed

I have smelt the sulphur of blue-white thunder,
have experienced the wonder
of seeing new seedlings bursting
right through the ground

and this continent of Africa
where the sun hangs
in a cobalt blue sky,
will as long as I am living
be home to me.

Our Childrens Legacy - This Ruined Earth

In that dreamlike state we call living
We give in to desires of the flesh
We take without thought, without giving
until there is nothing left
We destroy all the land round about us
We'll destroy the balance of life
Barren wastes will lie deserted
Whilst we still cause trouble and strife
We have no thoughts of the future
Our childrens legacy, a barren land
So pollute and destroy, build and bomb
leave no green land, just atomic sand
Tear down the trees, concrete it over
after all, WE won't be around that long.

When the rain drops fall on my head...

When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I feel the greatness of the nature
When the heat on earth vaporized
Then the clouds above makes the rain

When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I see the farmers are full of cheers
When the rain water roll on the ground
Then all the barren lands turns to green

When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I see the rain water runs down the mountains
When the rain water preserved in the built dam
Then there is no poverty on the land

When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I know the God sends it for us
When we do not go against the nature
Then the rain drops fall on the earth for ever

Make This House A Home

Well theres something in us living
Theres something you should know
There was a time for us to fall
Now its time to grow
But you know its not the way
That I intended it to be
Crossing hearts and killing souls
And trying to get down to whats real
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
All I needed was your hand to hold
I spent so much time alone
I needed your direction
But we re-aligned my broken bones
Well theyre running from a lifeless state
Somehow we lost our hold
All we have with us is change
Left over from what started out as gold
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
Im holding you responsible for every word I say
If you feel the brokenness
Wont you try and look the other way
I never meant to be so low
I only wanted you to see
That time was healing someone else
But its tearing apart the very heart of me
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
So make this house a home
Make this house a home
Make this house a home

God Making The Moves

In a modern interactive
technological database chip age
is God still like de main man
prime mover making de moves?

Humanity still writes
history on silicon sand
humanity explores space
inner space outer space.

Humanity traces finger in sand
creates new worlds to understand
mimics creator scientific mimics
creation on earth machine hat tricks.

Humanity in creation dust crawls
tracing trajectory dust motion motes
trying to reunite clay soul flesh mind

Insufficiency of Maps

Fifty million days of yalda
Thirty thousand strides to surmount
Two lost footsteps
An obfuscated horizon
And a vulpine mirage veiling
The photographs that never lied

I wallowed in the traceless sand
Of this oceanic wasteland
Six feet above an abysmal trench
Where all your promises sank
The air is putrid with the stench
Of macabre gushing from your mouth

The emaciated clouds plastered
The evening stars and their directions
Whilst the spigot of life poured
Draining what's left to drought
And these veins closed like breaths
Heaved for a final stride

I searched for smiles
Like messages in the sand
Like croons carried by the Levanter
Sifting and drifting with consciousness
Like ornate dreams too banal
In the verisimilitude of reality
Yet too good a taste
To remain the same

The insufficiency of maps you've left
Riveted me under the scorches
Of the sun's arrogant maw
And I will wait her futilely
To be found once more
As the time passes by in truancy.

I do not live in a world of flowers & clouds and mountains & rivers & brooks

I do not live in a world of flowers
I do not live in the world of blue clouds and green mountains and ricefields
I do not live in running rivers and stretching seas and clear brooks

Though I write about them
Though I miss the scent exuded by them in their kindness
Though I like the bees and butterflies that busy in their
Multicolored world with some rainbows and coolness
Of rain showers and warmth of sunshine so like
Paradise, so like the Eden of our ancient dreams,

But I do not live in the world of flowers
I cannot leave in the world of flowers

My land is this desert scorched by the noonday sun
My sea is this sand stretching from shore to shore
My outlook, my view is this misleading mirage
My clouds are these unresolved doubts and fears
And my air is this silence that only the dead can surmise.

As I Wait For For You

and then our minds met at a point
of convergence
i waited for you in a room without a number
a place without a name
a space where only us know what & how to fill

i am naked
you want the whole truth and so i am naked
in this room without a number, a place without a name
a space, where only our self-manifested emptiness know how & what to fill

when you arrive do not call my name
be so soft and gentle with your feet
do not even say your name as
i have also left my name somewhere else
and it is only i who knows it

i lose my identity
that is how i want to spend my short moment with you

i am naked
i only have my face, my skin and my flesh my bones my whole body
not my soul

do not knock
just push the door
it is left open throughout the nights of my waiting
i have intended it that way
so when you arrive and i am still asleep with my dreams and desires
of you
do not disturb the silence and sweetness of my sleep

just whisper your desire for love so sweet to my ears
touch the surfaces of my skin and caress with your soft fingers the smooth lines of my face
place your head just beside my tight chest
for there you shall hear the sounds of all my desires
and then my love we begin the sharing of our hidden truths
we shall dance in our nakedness

we shall make love real
we shall open the shutters of this closed window
we let the slits of light from outside the night get inside us and put some
warmth on the empty pores of our skins

we bring light to the darkness of our lives
we put fire to those eyes that refuse to close and die
