the happy child of God
there is no other
metaphor for the child of God
it is the smile
after the rain
that you show to the
trees and the skies
it is the silence in you
that best speaks

THE AUTUMN MELODY ~ (Semodgomis melodia)
THE AUTUMN MELODY (Semodgomis melodia)
The cold autumn rain
Is drizzling
That sad melody
Down from the skies…
The wind steals
The dreamy flock
Of the clouds,
Carries away… and flies.
No smile at all,
No rebuking…
Just silence –
Acid and biting…
The moon rings
From the dome of the skies,
And throws the sparks
Into my eyes…
The cold autumn rain
I drizzling
That sad melody
Down from the skies…

Sweet Silence Speaks
At the brink of the midnight
When every mortal sleeps
When voices turn their faces
Then the sweet silence speaks
With the onset of the moonlight
Slowly deserting the streets
When the noises are duped
Then the sweet silence speaks
When the zephyrs are high
At the snow covered peaks
And the voices get numb
Then the sweet silence speaks
I desperately wait to meet her
Through days and all through the weeks
I really die to hear her voice
And then the sweet silence speaks
Through an edge of a dream
When my sweety slowly peaks
All of a sudden I wake up
When the sweet silence speaks

Here Comes 'The Rain
Clear blue skies, the high is day,
here comes 'The Rain',
skies fog and are blanketed in gray.
Here comes 'The Rain', washing my smile away.
Clear puddles all around,
then lightening streaks, thunderous sounds.
'The Rain' brought about my frown,
night falls and 'The Rain' wears a gown,
Here comes 'The Rain', bringing me down.

Hypocrite Auteur
mon semblable, mon frère
(1)
Our epoch takes a voluptuous satisfaction
In that perspective of the action
Which pictures us inhabiting the end
Of everything with death for only friend.
Not that we love death,
Not truly, not the fluttering breath,
The obscene shudder of the finished act—
What the doe feels when the ultimate fact
Tears at her bowels with its jaws.
Our taste is for the opulent pause
Before the end comes. If the end is certain
All of us are players at the final curtain:
All of us, silence for a time deferred,
Find time before us for one sad last word.
Victim, rebel, convert, stoic—
Every role but the heroic—
We turn our tragic faces to the stalls
To wince our moment till the curtain falls.

A world ends when its metaphor has died.
An age becomes an age, all else beside,
When sensuous poets in their pride invent
Emblems for the soul’s consent
That speak the meanings men will never know
But man-imagined images can show:
It perishes when those images, though seen,
No longer mean.
(3)
A world was ended when the womb
Where girl held God became the tomb
Where God lies buried in a man:
Botticelli’s image neither speaks nor can
To our kind. His star-guided stranger
Teaches no longer, by the child, the manger,
The meaning of the beckoning skies.
Sophocles, when his reverent actors rise
To play the king with bleeding eyes,
No longer shows us on the stage advance
God’s purpose in the terrible fatality of chance.
No woman living, when the girl and swan
Embrace in verses, feels upon
Her breast the awful thunder of that breast
Where God, made beast, is by the blood confessed.
Empty as conch shell by the waters cast
The metaphor still sounds but cannot tell,
And we, like parasite crabs, put on the shell
And drag it at the sea’s edge up and down.
This is the destiny we say we own.

But are we sure
The age that dies upon its metaphor
Among these Roman heads, these mediaeval towers,
Is ours?—
Or ours the ending of that story?
The meanings in a man that quarry
Images from blinded eyes
And white birds and the turning skies
To make a world of were not spent with these
Abandoned presences.
The journey of our history has not ceased:
Earth turns us still toward the rising east,
The metaphor still struggles in the stone,
The allegory of the flesh and bone
Still stares into the summer grass
That is its glass,
The ignorant blood
Still knocks at silence to be understood.
Poets, deserted by the world before,
Turn round into the actual air:
Invent the age! Invent the metaphor!

The silence speaks...
Sometimes, when you are alone,
In the dark cloudy night,
Only the lightening shows you the life,
A numb silence surrounds you.
You may feel the words from the air,
You would never think of the happening,
But you know what, the silence speaks,
The silence tells us our future,
The time we can't imagine, the uncertainty,
The silence knows all of those,
There is no explanation of that,
You may call it a prejudice or blind belief,
However you define it, it is the fact,
Silence speaks us, warns us, shows us.
It is a kind of opaque mirror,
Behind its, all the future are hidden,
But we only can see the light through it,
We just need to belief inside ourselves,
Then only then we can hear, we can feel,
The silence speaks to us...

Let a child smile
Let a child blissfully grow,
Don’t try and obstruct his natural flow.
Let a child sleep,
Don’t try and break his dreams.
Let a child run,
Don’t try and smack his ear-drum.
Let a child confidently walk,
Don’t try and lure him with your talk.
Let a child create,
Don’t try and teach him to hate.
Let a child be innocent,
Don’t try and show him the art of disguise.
Let a child be naughty,
Don’t try and instruct him to be haughty.
Let a child play,
Don’t try and intentionally spoil his day.
Let a child make mistakes,
Don’t try and show him the stick.
Let a child roam in Sunlight,
Don’t try and hide him from the bright.
Let a child express his thoughts,
Don’t try and be a mental block.
And let a child prosper and SMILE,
Don’t try and expose him to worldly guiles.

Tantrum for Sidi Mahtrow
Storm clouds massing threateningly
had turned the sky gun metal gray.
The world waited expectantly,
a thunder storm was on its way.
Silence reigned and nothing stirred.
The breeze disturbed no single leaf
There were no bird calls to be heard.
It was as if I had gone deaf.
The silence was itself a threat
a promise of what was to come.
A copper plated certain bet.
The thunder rolling like a drum.
Foretold the coming of the rain
in driving sheets across the moors.
The wind was howling out its pain,
behind the rain the driving force.
The scattered trees stood patiently
As the dry earth absorbed the flow
of rain which fell incessantly.
The trees were wise enough to know.
The storm would pass it could not last
The clouds disperse, the skies turn blue.
The sun break through the overcast
Reveal a well washed world anew.
It lasted but an hour or so
and then departed suddenly
as summer storms are wont to do.
A lesson in futility.
The earth abides but storms move on.
The brief show of authority
which they display is quickly gone.
A return to normality.

Suppose a smile.
Suppose a smile.
Suppose it always, with a smile.
Suppose the sun to shine,
shine with a smile;
suppose the rain to fall and smile
smile at the earth;
the snow, with gentle smile,
protecting tender shoots;
suppose the wind to smile
mysteriously, about its secretwork;
suppose – that’s easy – flowers
to open with a smile; and
smile as they fade and wave farewell,
a smile that says, that’s how it is…
suppose some patient smiles:
as rain-forests say to those who cut them down,
you’ll live to regret this; here’s
your chance to learn;
suppose the desert sand to smile
and say, you took the trees, and now
I’m here; plant, call down rain, store, irrigate…
suppose the ice-cap, melting with sad smile,
saying, I did not choose…
suppose that Abraham, Moses, Christ, Mohammed
spoke their uncompromising, uncomfortable truths
always with a smile; a gentle smile;
a smile to say, I'm here, you're here to learn...
suppose the spear to smile,
hammered into pruning-hook..
suppose smile met with smile.
Suppose.

The Rain
There will be rain here
We normally run for shelter
Who wants to be wet in the rain
And look like a helpless chick in the drain?
There will be rain
And we will be seeking shades under the trees
And run towards waiting sheds where the rain
Cannot harm our sensibilities,
There will be rain and more rains to come
In our lives, and we always run for secure
Shelters, and we always have umbrellas in our hands,
And raincoats, and closed cars, we hide to places
Where The rain cannot harm us,
But today will be different,
There is rain, and I will take
Another action, I will not run for shelter,
Or take shades in trees, or be in waiting sheds,
I will not even open my car, get into it and close it,
I am not afraid of rain now; I have no fears getting wet somehow
And look like a helpless chick, I will run in the
Middle of the rain, I will play like a child in the rain, I will
Be with the rain throughout its pouring,
I will be wet, and it will rain and rain,
Oh! Let it rain and rain and rain
You will not see my tears falling,
My tears hiding in the pouring rain.

Sweet Child O Mine
Hes got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see his face
He takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
Id probably break down and cry
Sweet child o mine
Sweet love of mine
Hes got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
His hair reminds me
Of a warm safe place
Where as a child Id hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by
Sweet child o mine
Sweet love of mine
Where do we go
Where do we go now
Where do we go
Sweet child o mine

Heartbreaker
One look and you know shes trouble
Ruby red lips and flashing eyes
Cant resist, you just gotta have her
Ooh its a feeling that you cant disguise
Youre booked on a one way ticket
I can tell you that youre going nowhere
Shes a drug and youre not gonna kick it
Heartbreak city, shell take you there
I know Ive been here before
I read the script, I know the score
Theres no rules, she plays her own game
Shes a real heartbreaker and she brings on the rain
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Thunder, cant you hear it crashing?
Storm clouds are waiting for you up ahead
Lightning, cant you see it flashing?
You havent listened to a word Ive said
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (shes a real heartbreaker, a heartbreaker)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)

Is letting go a metaphor?
what is letting go -
letting go of grief?
the serenity of letting go?
(must be a bad metaphor)
losing represents letting go of control
I need to understand this 'letting go'
is it a metaphor for facing the inevitable?
breathing as a metaphor for living
'the practice of pruning wine vines'
is that a metaphor for letting go?
surrender. reaching towards the future
if you'll excuse another bad metaphor...
'the last of the sand is pouring...'
onion metaphors are stripped down to the core
letting go is a metaphor for acceptance
is acceptance a metaphor for failure?
'The freedom of letting go'
that does sound grand
letting go is not for the faint-hearted
my hands and heart are tired from letting go
so many times over
examine why metaphor is not
a substitute for the literal
letting go is
a metaphor
for goodbye

The Rain and the Wind
The rain and the wind, the wind and the rain --
They are with us like a disease:
They worry the heart, they work the brain,
As they shoulder and clutch at the shrieking pane,
And savage the helpless trees.
What does it profit a man to know
These tattered and tumbling skies
A million stately stars will show,
And the ruining grace of the after-glow
And the rush of the wild sunrise?
Ever the rain -- the rain and the wind!
Come, hunch with me over the fire,
Dream of the dreams that leered and grinned,
Ere the blood of the Year got chilled and thinned,
And the death came on desire!

Silence
When expression fails
Silence speaks
When words create din
Silence is bliss
While wise speaks
I listen and learn
When fools quarrel
I remain silent
To avoid risk
Of breaking peace,
My silence is
Full of wisdom
For the wise
I speak only
When words are
More valuable than silence.

The lost smile
The lost smile
a magic smile as a reverie
Oh! a life full of revelry
a welcome smile unsaid
leading all my way to bed
smile a seductive one
absorb me to be won
your smile tickling my cheeks
ah! raise me into the highest peaks
my hidden smile weaving silence
without sense, wait for your presence
a smile totally forgotten
drowns us all in pricking pain
a tear-laden smile on the face
speaks volumes beyond words
smile whispering colors
full of blushing pleasures
a vanishing smile with heaviness
light leaving for darkness
and me and me wandering awhile
in search of my lost smile

Silence Speaks
Verse 1:
When i asked you
You said nothing was wrong
But i listened to your magical song
All its notes were gone
You sang it, i heard
Silence speaks a thousand words
Verse 2:
You keep telling me
I'll pay the price
For asking you once
And telling you twice
But i paid the day your emotions turned cold
Silence speaks a thousand words
Chorus:
Where do i turn when you turn away
It's never just the things you say
You never ever put me down
But when i speak you turn around
And saying not much is saying a lot
Verse 3:
If you spoke truth
There would be no doubt
But the only words are
"we'll work it out"
Well that's not saying much
You just don't take the time
And that is where i draw the line
Chorus
Bridge:
You're sending signals
First of hope then insecurity
Signals of doubt are everywhere
And subconsciously
You know you wanna break the ties
But you use silence
You use lies
Don't worry
I'll return your song of silence
Silence speaks a thousand words
Silence speaks a thousand words

Rain Rain Rain
Rain Rain Rain,
Up above from the skies
Youu come,
As drops of joy
As drops of sorrow
As a shower of blessing from the heavens.
Rain Rain Rain,
Pitter patter pitter patter
on the window panes,
thunder and lightning fill up the skies
creating an orchestral symphony.
Rain Rain Rain,
With wind, sun and clouds,
seven colors you bring together
and joy in our hearts.
Rain Rain Rain
A miracle to a drought
A curse when in glut,
tiny silver crystals trickles from up above.

Smile Ye Fineland
Smile Fineland,
Smile you land of finesse,
Smile for your shining beauty,
Smile and keep on smiling.
Smile you land of waters
Smile and show your happy tears
Smile, for nothing have you to fear
Smile and your echoes shall reach far.
Smile for the cuteness of your culture,
Smile and let your silent smile Speak volumes,
Smile for the entire world to envy you.
When hailstorms start falling
And trees and waters turn stiff white
Smile, smile until the winter
Pause you smiling.

Silence 1.
Most times when I'm hurt,
My silence speaks for me.
She speaks very loud;
Even louder than a megaphone.
I choose to be silent, -
When most things happen,
Not because I cannot speak;
Nor that my words have evaded me,
But because in my silence-
There's a challenging power.
Sometimes in my fears,
When my heart is filled with love,
And my eyes with tears;
I learn to love, just like a dove.
My mouth moves to speak,
But is suddenly cut short by silence,
Silence in love, silence in fear.
Silence in tears, silence in joy;
And when I'm in this mood,
My silence stands so tall-
Even taller than a giant;
She makes her way; -
Even more than spoken words.
Spoken words of loud emotions,
They meet my silence-
And they tremble in awe.
I could hear those words;
They say to themselves,
'How art silence so mighty? '.

The Death of Silence
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When even the soundless creature
Leave an echo
When the quiet evening sky
Speaks more volume
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When the darkness of night
Is calmed by the song of stars
When this cruel and frightening world
Is cheered by the joy of life
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When the trees swaying their branches
Whispering the news from afar
When the stone awaken to tell the story
And no more secret remains hidden
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When the wind fills the void
And noises the ears
When the sunshine touches the skin
And screams in eyes
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When you could taste the heart
Inside the food you eat
When you could understand
The meaning the breath that taken
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When smile is enough
To erase the rotten doubt
When love is abundant
To wash the bitter pain
Let's celebrate the day
The death of silence
When the soul finds its freedom
And not chained in the grief of body
When the call is passing
Through the memory and time
