The Fate Of The Lonely Woman

life exacts the price
for your cowardice
alone in the apartment
you will be pondering about

how other people took life
using their own hands
that independence of not having
to put guilt on the neighbor

that suppression of what
should have been said
the mouth trembles
the heart pounds upon every atrium

bloods rush like a flood
and so you are drowned
soon another room is forced open
foul odor rushes out proclaiming another wrong

Mixed Emotions

you tell me i'm wrong,
i tell you to back offf! !
i'm sick of explaining,
how i'm feeling,
nothing seem to work,
just when you finally had enough,
of what life has to offer,
can tou relate?
to a life god has giving you,
most see it as a gift,
i see it as a curse,
a curse i must live,
cuz people don't want to see me go,
but, i'm losing the power to stay,
when some days are harder,
and you just don't know what to do,
except sit in your room and cut,
because there just to much emotions,
that you just can't control,
but, in the end you left with guilt,
guilt to just take your life,
cuz there not much you can do,
for the way you feeling,
people can't seem to understand,
the way you hoped they would,
which leaves you feeling alone,
people says 'god loves you,
he will look out for you.'
if that the case, why did i feel alone,
when the time had came?
maybe he gave me the stenght to
fight through and get help,
cuz till this day,
i wonder if i will still be here.

Fools Rush In

(words & music by j. mercer - r. bloom)
Fools rush in, where angels fear to tread
And so I come to you my love
My heart above my head
Though I see the danger there
If theres a chance for me
Then I dont care, oh-oh-oh-oh
Fools rush in, where wise men never go
But wise men never fall in love
So how are they to know
When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush in
And I dont care, oh-oh-oh-oh
Fools rush in, where wise men never go
But wise men never fall in love
So how are they to know
When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush in
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush in
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush in
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush in

The Price You Pay

(bruce springsteen)
You make up your mind, you choose the chance you take
You ride to where the highway ends and the desert breaks
Out on through an open road you ride until the day
You learn to sleep at night with the price you pay
Now with their hands held high, they reached out for the open skies
And then with their last breath
They built the roads they would ride to their deaths
Driving on through the night unable to break away
>from the restless pull of the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Now theyve come so far and theyve waited so long
Just to end up caught in a dream where everything goes wrong
Where the dark of night holds back the light of the day
And you gotta stand and fight for the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Little girl down on the strand
With that pretty little baby in your hands
Do you remember the story of the promised land
How he crossed the desert sands
And could not enter the chosen land
On the banks of the river he stayed
To face the price you pay
So let the games start
You better run you little wild heart
You can run through all the nights and all the days
But just across the county line
A stranger passin through put up a sign
That counts so many fallen away
To the price you pay,
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay
Oh, the price you pay, oh, the price you pay
Now you cant walk away from the price you pay

Storeroom

I love you, without caring whom you love.
My hands below the belt, or my hands above
in the arms of other men,
or in my bed again.
It's just a man,
Taking what he needs,
From the store room,
Store room, store room.
I love to see you sitting there upon your throne,
your preachers all around you
being bored, and your prophet straight and tall.
And yet they'll undermine it all.
Just a man, just a man,
taking what he needs,
from the store room,
store room, store room.
Yeah, Shakespeare said it all, then he said no more
and he left me feeling just like a two bit whore.
Well the silence broke my heart, but yes
I spread my legs apart.
It's just a man ...
?????
?????
The hermit in the Wild,
the parent in the child.
Just a man ...
Oh my love, let us unpin you,
???? you done, bringing more:
the mother and the father, the daughter and the son.
But should one refuse to come, it does not subtract the sum
It's just a man ...
It's not a (due?) of burning pounds that ruins your mind
like a spoon that you turn and you turn and you don't unwind,
Though these wars that you did not stop,
they don't tear your sleep apart.
It's just a man ...
???? that keeps you up,
What a (moon?) coming like a headlight through the window
Not the thumbnail of a screen, (?)
No best way to dream (?)
It's just a man ...
Now the woman by your side is she awake?
But there's nothing you want to give her,
and there's nothing that you really want to take.
You don't even try to prove that the noisy neighbor's making love. (?)
It's just a man ...
I love you without caring whom you love ...

The Price

There's a price for everything.
And everything has a price.
The cost may be higher.
It is never precise.

A second of pleasure.
For a lifetime of guilt.
Destroying the house,
Of love that God built.

Innocent victims,
Are killed by the blast.
Others they are maimed,
The scars forever they last.

We walk through that door,
Our morals astray,
Not knowing the price,
That will have to be paid.

There is one thing in common.
It's what we all share.
Three nine inch nails,
And the flesh that they teared.

Silent love.
Screaming so loud.
He paid the price.
His father so proud.

The plan was complete
He said, “It is done”
I have paid for your sins
Each and every one.

To accept my free gift.
There's something I ask.
It's a couple requests,
They are simple tasks.

To just love your neighbor,
Like you love yourself.
Put yourself behind others.
Put your pride on the shelf.

When you do something wrong,
You can call on my name.
I'll show you My mercy,
And remove your shame.

My death was the price.
The price that was due.
I paid it in full.
I did it for you.

99 Pounds

I tell ya shes a heart breaker
And you cant tell me she aint
Theres a little devil in her
Under all that powder and paint
And she can hang you up every night
And get you so uptight
Shes 99 pounds, I said 99 pounds,
Shes 99 pounds of some kind of dynomite
I tell you half a ton of sugar aint half as sweet as her
She can change and rearrange you
Till you cant tell what you were
And it dont even pay to fight
cause she dont know wrong from right
Shes 99 pounds, I said 99 pounds,
Shes 99 pounds of some kind of dynomite
And she may look like an angel
But shes made out of tnt
Shes a little bitty thing and she ? ? ? ?
Yeah but when she holds you tight
Shes some kind of outa sight
Shes 99 pounds, I said 99 pounds,
I said 99 pounds of some kind of dynomite
I said 99 pounds, I said 99 pounds,

I Do Not Correct Mistakes … I Play

it so happens that
i post a poem with some errors
not of feeling but of
grammatical lapses and she is afraid

that people may begin to belittle me for such
unforgivable simplicities of
mistakes unaccounted

but i tell her even beforehand that i am
always unapologetic
even unkind
or indifferent

i am a person who does not go back
to review
and correct errors

i laugh at them knowing that they have deceived
me into such a corruption

somehow life is like that
we rush to get out of a door only
to find the wrong key in our hand
and we are having a hard time
opening that
which we closed
and we cannot enter anymore
except when when we break the door &
open it forcefully
with a hammer

the noise is painful
having to break in
your own room with locks forced open

like an invasion of your own
body destroying it
breaking your heart or
bones
tearing your skins apart
or slicing some flesh
because you made a mistake

i like lapses,
errors are not supposed to be
minded at

life is like that
no crying for what is there already

sometimes
i don't even solve puzzles
i let them be their own problems

as i sit on the sands
watching the sun
set
feeling the cool winds when the
world starts to lose
its light
and surrender all its arms
to the power of
darkness

and when it gets too dark
i begin to play again
like a child left by mother
abandoned
by father

under the moon under the rain
and all alone.
i like it when i listen
to the bliss of my own wild
laughter

Open Your Life

Do you know what there is
Just behind your wall?
Do you hate what you can't see
On the spinning ball?
Ignorant and wasted
That's what you are
But you could be so much more
Listen to your TV
Believe the words
And you're dumber than before
Try to see the real picture
Train your mind
To read between the lines
Take your level higher
That is your way
Just get up
Start out today
Time seems an endless road
When we are young
It don't need a genius to know that it's wrong
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Rise now, rise now
Feel the new drive
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Full synthetic anger
That's what you breathe
It's a strategy for all
Telling people stories
And bed time tales
But the real important false
So you grow the wrong seed
Inside your head
To the will of the modern priest
Supervised aggression
Instructed to sleep
That's the devil that you breed
All that we learn
Is just one point of view
Out there in the world
It may not become true
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Rise now, rise now
Feel the new drive
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Time seems an endless road
When we are young
It don't need a genius to know that it's wrong
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Hey now, hey now
Open your life
Rise now, rise now
Feel the new drive
Hey now, hey now
Open your life

Headlights

headlights
highways
your life collides with mine

leavin' our shoes behind
we cross the water
our words flow
from mouth to mouth
like fish seeking dark places
the mist covers our traces covers our faces

headlights
highways
your life collides with mine

we're stepping into shelter
movin out of shadow
we made some wrong moves
along the way
oh we might have strayed
will I forget your face
and your fluid gait
or will I stare into the stillness
this is where I miss you
so long
th what's done
how come we've gone
so much time's been wasted
so many thoughts been lost on you

headlights
highways
your life collides with mine

cold wind rushes
down on my face
smoke heats the black throat
of the chimney

the door is open
come on inside...

The Laws Of Life.....

the laws of life
are more than traffic signs
go jaywalking
you get fined.

over-speeding
you crash upon death
your calendar
ends

what more is the law of
life?
the price of greed
the consequences of
promiscuity
the guilt of
cheating
the damnation of
abomination

the Furies know how to chase
an outlaw
that circular chase inside the
mind that gives you
no place to run

in the living of the life of the law
one is safe
protected and confident

there is tomorrow that waits
and promises
that when you are free and
harms no neighbor
befriends the earth and
the sea
worships the sun and moon
adores the beauty of
nature and communes with
its rivers and
valleys

and with a grateful heart
to all these creations

the Creator looks upon you
with pride
because you are its glory
the center of
its universal divinity

Strange Ways

Many people have strange way of meeting
With heavy face and deep frown, offer greetings
Good at heart but fail to show happiness
Forced try to come out of isolation and loneliness

Never mind meeting less people but share their views
Let them feel you are sympathizer among few
You are not here to gain their sympathy
But to share worries, agony and apathy

Life is worth only when you are involved in it
Light too may be seen only when lamp is lit
Feelings are also felt only when there is little gesture
Respect is also when only when you have fix tenure

You can earn fame only after hard work or dedication
Lukewarm response from others is also good indication
No one simply acknowledges your contribution
It is only for your hard efforts in distribution

'Live and let others live' should form the basis
It may lead to peaceful existence and avoid crisis
You need not speak yourself as work may reveal
Everything is open to judgment when nothing is to conceal

It is considered as achievement and good art of living
Fine blend of relation developed with and neat weaving
That is how one may comes to be known as very humble
His ideology may not need introduction with preamble

There is no big price tag for showing goodness
It must be seen as gift from God or holiness
Let inner strength find response with easy access
Life may be termed as worth while with grand success

Nothing may go wrong if one sincerely tries or attempt
There won't be immediate response or action prompt
Society or circle may recognize its real importance
It may have its own weight like any heavy substance

Many people go and opt for open confrontation
Use bitter words and enter controversy and altercation
They themselves mayn’t know what they are trying for?
Find no place to stand even at home or with neighbor

Is it not futile to try for worthless things?
Are we sure of attaining it for something?
Will it not cost dearly for our well being?
I shall prefer to be poor rather than being king

We are not here to behave as strangers
Sometimes we act like teenagers
Go for easy pick and quarrel
Simply accept wrong for real

Life itself is very strange with so many ups and down
Many may rot in streets and others may have crown
It is not important how and what you inherited?
But how you delivered and your work merited

Green Grow The Rushes

The wheelbarrows fallen
Look at my hands
Theyve found some surplus cheaper hands
Rubbing palms and pick and choose,
Who will they choose? here is the news.
Look at that building, look at this man
Haloed and whitewashed
Gone to find a cheaper hand
Hell offer a pound, offer a pound.
Green grow the rushes go
Green grow the rushes go
Green grow the rushes go
The compass points the workers home
Pay for your freedom, find another gate
Guilt by associate, the rushes wilted a long time ago
Guilty as you go
Stay off that highway, word is its not so safe
The grasses that hide the greenback
The amber waves of gain again
The amber waves of gain
Green grow the rushes go
Green grow the rushes go
Green grow the rushes go
The compass points the workers home

My Heart Is Made Of Steel

the way the people around you
make you bleed
the way they laugh and chide you
the way they leave you helpless
in your sorrows
the way they survive on their own
proclaiming independence
from every man's concern
and the way i discern it
time and pain has made my heart
steel.
my gaze sharp as a knife
my hold as hard as pipe.

Room in the Heart

The apartment of the heart
A reserved room of vacant
Every day clean at night
Close the door and switch off light

Somebody wants to occupy
Allowed not me by locked key
Pain and hope of dreamy
One day light up coming with beauty

Descended moon though it disappear
Ascended life dreams in very clear
Gap of space is not so far near
Path through rainbow can visit here

Instant message or constant mail
Will give a surprise to cook tasty meal
Setting the table light up the candle
Finding the way and when rings the bell

Offer the key to open the room of my heart
Will see the picture hung on the wall of white
Touch up the untold secret poetic word

Awoken by their light
These people are for life
Enriched is this sight
These people are for life

Around love they come
They honour the sun
Make merry in testimony
With them, never lonely

As constant as night
These people are for life
When feeling down they hold on tight
These people are for life

Feeling better for knowing them
Building this form up again and again
Open to dance and breathe
Lending courage to believe

Whether it be wrong or right

Open Your Heart

Don't let the sun go down on me
Open your heart
Just let me be your destiny
Open your heart
What I never felt before
I really need you more and more
Don't let the sun go down on me
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Even when you're far away
You're on my mind, every night and day
Don't let me live without a goal
Deep inside you are my soul
I've been fooled by love so many times
I've been blind, I've seen no signs
You're the one for me, we'll never part
Stay with me and open your heart
I can't express what's goin' on
I feel so lonely when you're gone
Is it real or is it fake
Am I dreaming, am I awake
You're the one I have been waiting for
I can't hold it back no more
You're the one for me, we'll never part
Stay with me and open your heart
I need you, don't let the sun, go down on me
Count on me, let me be your destiny,
See you got the key, to my Heart
We'll never part, from the start till the end of time,
You' re always mine, take a glass of wine
And let the sun shine, find out,
What is right or wrong,
What's going on, I feel lonely when you're gone
You're style is Magic - you hypnotise me
You came into my life, set me free
Light and energy, all around the galaxy
You made it brighter so that I could see
Like a melody in ecstasy,
See our love will last, eternally
Seems that your life is the golden key
Don't let the sun go down on me
