I live in a Dream
I am chasing a dream
A dream that can never be mine
I am attracted to a fantasy
That makes my days bright and nights shine
I don’t want to let go my dream
And open my eyes to reality
The present smothers me
Treats my gossamer thoughts with cruelty

That coddles me and nourishes me

Seven day-deams
When I was a child, I had a dream
A dream to be like some one
I do not remember, who or why it was
When I was a boy, I had a dream
A dream to be a grown up
Amongst grown ups, as I envisioned
When I was a youth, I had a dream
A dream to make my mother proudly
Cos', she was dreaming to be proud of me
When I was a man, I had a dream
A dream to reach a plateau, one day
Amongst my colleagues already up there
Day I became a father, I had a dream
A dream to be a proud father
That being my bounden and divine duty
I had no choice, but, strove day and night

Dream-catcher
Dream-catcher, dream-catcher catch me a dream,
Send it from the stars down on a moonbeam,
Weave it like gold gossamer.
Fill it with images, heavenly, bright,
To keep me contented all through the night,
Let it be a heart-warmer.
Let this world’s sorrows dissolve in a dream,
That no one should wake in cold sweat… and scream;
End terror and tyranny.
Let the world live in peace; no more blood shed,
Let starving millions be fully fed,

My Escape
Looking out towards the horizon
I dream of my escape
Freedom beckons me
I have in my view a different world
A world with a different format
A view so opposite
to the one I have at the moment
But how to escape
Not easy when I have commitments
Things I can't leave behind
but can't take with me either
What a stalemate!
Perhaps it was just a hope,
an idea with no foundation,
a self analysis
There is no escape!
Just a dead end
with no view

Her final hour
You may no it.
Or you may not want to see.
But her final hour is near.
She'd been screaming for your help.
Asking for help for so long.
All her screaming fell upon deaf ears.
Within her final hour.
She belived she had no other choice.
But to go out of the world this way.
She just couldnt deal with one more day.
Her final hour now has come and gone.
Her family get that knock on the door.
Sorry but we've got bad news.
All they can do is scream why.
Why Amy why do it.
As they go to identify the body.
All they can do is hope and pray.
They pray its all a mistake.
When they see its her.
They brake down.
It was no mistake.
They wonder just what the hell was she thinking.
How could we not of known.
In the morning the pray and hope.
It was just a bad dream.

The guilt of innocence...
Sentenced to death for a crime I did not commit,
Execution at dawn... such a cliché,
All of my last request's denied,
Morning arrives on the final day of my existance,
Paraded through the streets like some kind of prize,
The aroma of life so evident in my final hours,
Dragged up onto this hellish platform, dignity stripped,
These man made gallows offer such a view 0f life,
How ironic that life is my final view when death comes to call,
Blindfold refused, rope placed around my neck,
Trembling uncontrolably... Goodbye cruel world,
Trap door opens and I fall, neck snapped like a twig,
