Can't help this feeling it's hard to explain
It hurts my heart it gives me pain

Riding through the city streets, with my leathers on
Looking cool in black as the day is long
I can't quite understand it but my baby's wrong
Plugged into her Ipod and listening to her song

She's driving me crazy with her stance

Flying High

My oh my!
What a gorgeous day to fly
Let's release that puffer kite
High in the crystal clear blue sky

We're running out of string
Send that kid on his bike
To the hobby shop to get more
What do you mean, what for?

Why, to fly that kite
Beyond the clouds, earth and universe
The wind is perfect today
We can do this beyond the moon and stars

A bike is just a bike
It can take you for a riding hike

It is hard to impress and make a good strike

Kite Song

I flew a kite, I held on tight to its string.
Each time I go anywhere, I held on tight.
In the middle of the night I woke up in fright,
Thinking maybe in my dream I let go of my kite.
When I was in a restaurant, talking to my friends,
Watching their mouths move faster and faster.
I thought of the kite that was flying in the sky
And made sure that my hand was holding the string.
That was a long time ago,
Many skies went by since then.
Now my hands stopped holding anything
And Ive learnt to take a walk instead.
Then one day in the evening light,
I saw something strange shining bright.
The sky was dark, with swarms of larks,
And in the midst of it all, yes, it was my kite.
How did the kite get there, Ill never know,
Floating away among the clouds to where nobody knows.
I held my gun with both my hands,
Slowly aiming at the shining dot.
The shot went off, the dot blew off,
Since then Ive never seen the kite again.

Learning

a little brown boy
perhaps aged three
is learning
how to ride his
bike

the father bought
a bike
taller than the boy
but the boy
has passion

breaks his bones
suffers the bruises
just to learn
this new skill

he rides on top of the
bike unable to reach
the brake
and he laughs at all this
not seeking
any help.

Ready

'What are you doing? '

Taking off my kid gloves.
Flexing my muscles...
Prepared and ready,
To show what I'm made of!

'I thought you did that already?
At least I had that impression.'

Oh no!
If anything...
You caught me in rehearsals.
Practicing strategies.
I have only just begun...
To show what I can do,
And get what that is done!
I'm going to remove some giggles...
And a few remnants of laughs.
I have been much too lenient...
With those conveniently,
Disrespecting me and my tasks!

That has gone on!
I am going to make clear...
What I will unleash upon their eyes and ears!

Intimate Gaming

Sports we played
Music bands we made
It was all bonding
But through those schooling years
Was anything more innocent
And more intimate
Then the video games we played

Street fighter, mortal kombat
Ice hockey, soccer, shoot-em ups
They all made an appearance

As we bought new sneakers
Changed our hair
Talked
Ate
Argued
High-fived
All with a game controller in hand
A coke by our side

They were the days of less worry
Thoughts only of
Games, slurpees and new sneakers
And a new school year to dread
Of new friends and girls
Of detention and fights

That time has now gone
Though the games still remain
More advanced

Taking The Wings Of A Dragon

Here I am staring at the sun, wondering what I've become. Was I on the run? Well now its over. Im taking the wings of a dragon and getting ready to fly. I want to embrace the sky. I want to live my life before I die. I don't want to hide behind contradictions or lies. So here I am staring at the sun, wondering what I've become. Was I on the run? Well now its over. I'm taking the wings of a dragon and getting ready fly. Empty the mind, open the soul and let it all flow through. Broken hearts can be glued. I know that at one time it seemed as if I was screwed. I'm taking the wings of a dragon and getting ready to fly. The awe inspired. The truly desired. Stop to admire. What if that was yours? Oh so much do I adore. I must explore so much more. All About Two Friends

Two true friends they were.
A kite and a sparrow living in a tree.
They chit-chatted all day long
And forgot the rest of the world.
None an nothing could separate them

There came a dark and short man once
Who smiled and smiled at the sparrow and
Said aloud, 'It can`t be, how is it that you are here now?
The sparrow turned pale and looked at his friend, the kite.
The little man was looking into a foliage now.

Two true friends they were.
The kite murmered into the ears of his friend,
'Fear not my friend, I shall take you to another tree high and tall
And save you from this dark and short brute..come with me'.
As they flew off unto a far away tree, the'brute'down still smiled.

Two true friends they were.
The kite made the pal sit on a tall branch and said,
'It`s safe here, let me go back and ask that brute who he is? '
The bigger winged beauty flew back to old tree and the'dark brute'
And he hovered around both for some time.

The dark and the short man heard the kite speak,
'Who are you to speak to my friend and why did you speak such words? '
The smiling 'brute'said, 'Oh bird, I am the god of death and as per my book
Thy friend, the sparrow should be on the top of a far off tree
And should have been eaten by a huge snake by now, and therefore alone
I spoke to your friend words'.

Shocked, the flew back to the tree high and tall,
His friend the sparrow was not there on any branch!
Down across the shrubs was moving a big python after feasting on the prey.
The kite flew off unto the skies infinite next.
He and his late friends were two true friends.

Maiden Flight

The wind on top of the mountain
Is just right for flying my kite.
No, it’s not a store bought item
I made it from old newspapers,
Elmer’s glue and old balsa wood
Spine and spar sticks from last years kite.
Now here I am again ready
To launch it on its maiden flight.
I hope the tail isn’t too long;
The bridle string is sufficient.
Well, here goes! Come on baby fly!
That’s it! You want more string? Up! Up!
Easy does it! Straighten out babe!
That’s it! That’s it! You’re on your own.

tired of waiting
I've been waiting up all night
tired of waiting

just to give you an insight
