The Clan Meeting

we were inside a circle
talking about the past
the years have made us
forget what our old folks taught us

there is always a time for
nothing but free talk until
some of you begins to cajole
and flatter and i begin to see

dogs and foxes around the table
some shall act as temporary prey
lots of words to seduce and entice
but here we are we are no longer

innocent children and we are no longer
giving and as compassionate as those
war times that give birth to mercy
we are numb as stone with unpredictable

thoughts inside our bodies crawling like
snakes so wary about the next prey
no one loses neither anybody wins in this
game of lies and then i look at my watch

it is 4: 30 in the afternoon and i really have
to go
i have a sunset to watch
another orange picture to take.

Watch Me Fade

Watch me fade.
You wont change.
You play a game.
Leave a stain.
That just wont go away.
And this will be a price you pay.

watch me fade.
Always the same.
A forgotten name.
A picture on post card.
That says i cared.
Preparing for a long trip.
Digging the trench I'm gonna hide in.
Selling your soul to keep a friend. Watch me fade.
The bar has been raised.
No longer afraid.
I lost and will lose nothing.
Its for the best.
Its hell of a mess.
But this time their is a rewind.
Its pact that cant be taken back.

Watch me fade.
Going right into the clouds.
Covered by a shroud of darkness.
Lift that veil.
Protection from sight.

Watch me fade.
Dawn, changes to dusk.
I will do what I must.
Where is the trust.
Ashes turn to dust.
A speckle on a painting.
Millions of them.

Watch me fade.
Forget my face.
Forget my name.
Memories will wain.
Traveling through the plains of endless time.
Lost in my mind.
Digging deep for the soul I keep.
I have found it again.

Watch me fade.
Assumptions made out jade.
Its so perfect that it can't be.
Don't you see.
Your disease has crawled inside me.
It slowly eats at my skin.
So i was there to defend.
So you were just pretending.

Well watch me fade.
Gone with the wind.
This time i wont be back again.
You have what you want.
So don't.
Because i won't.
It went way to far.
This time it has left scar.
I'm not a martyr for your cause.
I will not miss one bit of it.
I no longer give in to a reason that does not exist.
To care has only brought me despair.
I was choking on the air.
But now i can breath.
Now i know why i must leave.

So just watch me fade, just fade.

Watch Me Die

I lay as this sacrifice to this unholy altar
The evil inside Satan; Satan sit and watch me die
Demented screams, tortured beings, where's your hope,
where's your smile, there was none
Life of lies gone, gone no more
So upset, so distraught, I'm sorry, I'm Sorry... I live for the Lord
Watch me die no longer I am alive
My purpose no more... I live for Christ
Dead to sin, only begin, imagine what's for Soldier of Christ
Changed with a new beginning, blood of the lamb, white washed sins
Forgive me God for all of these years of my transgressions
I cry renewed, I cry renewed This world means nothing to me
My life changed I now see Crucified with Christ,
the old self left with the rest of this world, rest of this world
Kneel before his throne, home now from this journey
I see my father in his arms finally found
This path I have chosen is hard but I'll make it with my saviors help
I survive this hell till the end I'll stand true
Eternal life, ready for the fight that the evil brings
No giving in... I'm free
The fire burns engulfing all the victims in it's path, no where to run
Over taken they give in to surrender to the Lord once, and for all
No longer keeping quiet, no longer standing still,
no longer giving in, no longer going back
I stand strong praying for love always to be in my heart

Angel's Fall

Emptiness follows me
just like a shadow
that's cast on a wall
reflecting a dark past
that won't set me free
trapped inside myself
of what came to be
I watch Angel's fall

Looking through stained glass
at the things that would never last
my eye's can no longer see
my place of serenity
as I watch Angel's fall

Losing my sense of reality
with voices screaming inside my head
the hunger I fed
is tearing inside my soul
hiding behind the pain I can't let go
I watch Angel's fall

Sonnet: Country-Dogs but…

Who says that country-dogs are unworthy,
And dogs that roam the streets are to be shot?
So, people use the term in sense filthy;
But Dogs or Dogs where-ever from they’re brought.

The Dogs I see are sensible enough,
And keep their bodies clean in ways they can;
But human beings to them appear rough;
By looking once, they know the kind of man!

And some have excellent memory also,
And remember your kindness for long years;
When strangers come at nights, barking they do;
Ev’n children need not have any fears.

They scour the land and become prey to snakes;
And some are dead, sometimes in nearby lakes.

Friendship With A Stone

the stone is dry
the sun ripped off
what moisture life
it has today,

i take a glass of
water and wet it

the stone begins
to wake up and
breathe

i take its breathe
inside my lungs
i watch it become
alive in my thoughts
we begin
talking about
a previous life

story to story
until it is dark

the stone and i
and the moon
above us

we are one family now
one misery less

The Girls From Here To The Other Corners Of The World

yes, yuri, the girl from cebu
whose heart has turned to stone
is not an exception,
if fact she is a general rule,
they are uprooted from
the clutches of poverty
from fathers who are
unemployed from mothers
who earn their living
on the simplest chores
of household keeping
where there is nothing
to keep, of fish vending
where there is no fish,
of selling vegetables
where there is no
good harvest, and so
these girls have to
attend to themselves,
and the internet has
become the tool,
display their wares
seduce the south african
male for an exotic treat
of oriental coyness
and shyness feigned,
enticing the whites
and blacks to pour
their dollars on their
innocent breasts,
these occur so
regularly as a matter
of accepted occupation,

predator prey relationships
thrive, vultures come and
wait, because there are
dead meat offered in
our streets aplenty in the
internet.....blame them?
reprimand who?

let them play their games
let them find out who is
the prey and who is the
predator, because Yuri,
they are all big enough
and we just mind our
own business, let one
find his pleasure, and
let the other give it to him.

and let us watch who
punishes whom, who
gains who loses in
their own free games.

How Much Longer

I'm stuck
Inside
Can't get this done wish I could hide
This scene is really such a pain
I just
Can't see
How this is any use to me
This work is drivin' me insane
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
It's on
My mind
I think I'm runnin out of time
This weight is more than I can take
That clock
Is slow
It's never gonna let me go
This time I need more than just a break
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
And here I go again (and here I go again)
Wondering when (when)
I can have my time to play
(Can anybody tell me)
(Can anybody, can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can
How much longer until I can play that game
(I want to play that game)
Play that game
(I want to play that game)

Let Us Prey

Im the reason women bleed
Its been called
The curse of eve
Ancient times to modern lies
You know my name
Turned your pleasures into pain
You made love I give you aids
My pollution gives you cancer
Of the brain
Yet to me you sell your soul
Fame and glory plated gold
Youre such an easy
Prey for me
Please let us prey
Please let us hunt
7 million bodies lying dead
Beneath my hands
War was such a simple
Game to play
Preachers do my bidding yet
Blame me for their sins
Altar boys are taken in dismay
Kill and eat your neighbors
Gas a subway in japan
I got more apocalyptic plans
Please let us prey
Please let us hunt
Suicide...genocide

The Professional Wanderer

When you’ve knocked about the country—been away from home for years;
When the past, by distance softened, nearly fills your eyes with tears—
You are haunted oft, wherever or however you may roam,
By a fancy that you ought to go and see the folks at home.
You forget the family quarrels—little things that used to jar—
And you think of how they’ll worry—how they wonder where you are;
You will think you served them badly, and your own part you’ll condemn,
And it strikes you that you’ll surely be a novelty to them,
For your voice has somewhat altered, and your face has somewhat changed—
And your views of men and matters over wider fields have ranged.
Then it’s time to save your money, or to watch it (how it goes!);
Then it’s time to get a ‘Gladstone’ and a decent suit of clothes;
Then it’s time to practise daily with a hair-brush and a comb,
Till you drop in unexpected on the folks and friends at home.
When you’ve been at home for some time, and the novelty’s worn off,
And old chums no longer court you, and your friends begin to scoff;
When ‘the girls’ no longer kiss you, crying ‘Jack! how you have changed!’
When you’re stale to your relations, and their manner seems estranged ;
When the old domestic quarrels, round the table thrice a day,
Make it too much like the old times—make you wish you’d stayed away,
When, in short, you’ve spent your money in the fulness of your heart,
And your clothes are getting shabby . . . Then it’s high time to depart.

Aubade And I Am Not Like Other Birds Of Prey

Morning at last!
Every night is a fight till you're waking
Dreams dancing past
Through the silence of sleep
Dawn is breaking
I wake and watch them till then
And I am not like other birds of prey
And I am not like other birds of prey
Oh, night is long, you won't needing me
For a dressed up time I am there to see
That fear holds no sway
Soft is my plan
And my eyes kill the lies that felt happy
Life is my right
And in sleep's little bed
I'll protect you
So, hear, let my presence dismay
That I am not like other birds of prey
That I am not like other birds of prey
When hopes are young and your cares are few
Then I'm sure above keeping truth in you
And my name is love

Everything You Don’t Know About Me

My mind is lost
My heart is lost
My body is lost
My spirit is lost
And I don’t know
If I can find it.

My pride is somewhat lost
My soul is somewhat lost
My thoughts are somewhat lost
My words are somewhat lost
Can not find what to say.

My life is confused
My daily happiness
Is still confused.
My smiles that I give
Are confused
But I don’t want to pretend
That I am happy when I’m not.

The smiles are numb to me
The laughs are numb to me
The good spirit is numb to me
The goals are lost and forever
Numb to me.

The love is no longer there
The happiness is no longer there
The smiles and pretending is
No longer there.
The happy thoughts are
No longer there.

Nowhere to be found
This is me.
But I don’t get it
They hurt me
Can’t they see?

Maybe I should just stay out
Of their lives.

Mr. Native, Now You Must Go...

mr. native
now that you have grown into a man
and learned
everything that we have taught you
now, you must leave
for you no longer accept any rules from us
you are big
your hands no longer fetch water for us
your mind no longer obey orders
you are free to go
and be on your own now
take nothing
for we have nothing to give to you anymore
with your freedom
now you must have burdens
with your liberty
now we have nothing to watch
we are even now
as you must with speed dispatch
what you want to become
we are not your masters anymore
as you are no longer a slave

go fly away, strong bird
find your worms
and monkeys
find your nest
and fly the seas!

The Messerschmitt Twins

My mind is made up, Im changing faster
Your mind is made up, avoiding worries
My old image is set to fade away
Forget the talking
Forget the actions
And quiet voices and all that happened
In just one of hour
You could knock me down
The twos are one now
And ones are fuller
No longer giving
No longer taking
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
And when youre asking
You sound like telling
Despite the questions
Youre not receiving
I cant explain
Why you disappear
Your mind is made up
The time is taken
You reach decisions
We cant avoid them
Theres no success
No matter what we do
The twos are one now
And ones are fuller
No longer giving
No longer taking
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried
They never seem to fail
These ways are tried

what GOD says to all those snakes...

this afternoon some snakes come into the house
(literally not those snakes with slimy skin
and without feet)
for there are snakes that walk like real people
complete with heads and
other usual parts like the way your friends look like
when you dine
and you pay
when they tell you stories and you listen
and you know
that these are all not true
but because of respect you nod just the same
and say, ok, ok, i agree

this afternoon these snakes come to the house
and we had coffee and biscuits
the usual afternoon talk and bonding
i may not have changed, but they do not know that there is also the fox in me
but still considerate and forgiving and patient and kind
all giving

they ask for rice and viand
and they talk about their undeserved poverty
and without questions
i give them what they ask and pray for
no harm
nothing big for such a kind man like me
i am not an angry man
my hands are open, my fingers are spread
like tributaries from the rivers to the seas

sometimes my fingers ache for these friends are snakes and they all
love to bite
blood flows from my tips
and the carpet gets stained

but i am not an angry man
and i am as patient as ten spiders webbing from one wall to the other
well, normal as i am
i get fed up sometimes and tempted to shout and drive them away
but i look to the sky
and talk to my God and then i begin to ask silently
all those questions
how to deal with snakes
and God says: 'my son, these snakes are your brothers and sisters
feed them well, please me
for i am the owner of the sea and the land and the sky
yours is but a coin
a patch, an atom
and so negligible

in fact, my son, you own nothing, you only manage what i own
and give you
feed them all, make them comfortable
do not argue, do not say a dirty word
look at me, they bit me too
but did i say a word? you haven't heard me
for like you, snake or man or god
you are all my children....

It is an afternoon
Walk by the
Beach

An orange sunset
Follows me
Like
I am closely
Guarded for some
Unknown
Danger

I walk alone
The sea foams
surging

from
Time to time
Touch my
heels and toes

An alternate
Of sand
Foam
And sea
And sunset
Rinsing
My footsteps

I am looking
For some
Shells of
My past

On a sunset shore
Retracing
It to
The mouth
Of the river
At the
Other end

River
Meets
Sea as
I closely watch

The sunset closely guarding.

How Are The Weak Free?

They will hunt again.
With years to plan.
And sharpen their teeth.
But no one knows, no one knows.
Free the wolf from his cage.
Watch him hunt, stalk his prey.
We let them go.
They will hunt again.
Prey on the simple.
Feast in the temple.
Free the wolf?
We must put him down.
We'll put him down again.
Our protectors hide and grin.

It Isn't Everyday One Makes An Order, And Throws Out The Past

It isn’t everyday one makes an order, throws out the past
Goes through the piles of old papers
And sees here a missed opportunity there another time of life
Which one has long forgotten
Throwing most of the business papers away
And holding on to most personal things
One finds letters one did not answer
And dreams one did not begin to realize
Pictures are most painful
People no longer here
Loved ones in youth
Oneself as one was and will never be again
A life in these things
And almost gone
Cancelled bank books
Money one had once and no longer has
Love and people who were once one’s whole life
And are now strangers
The children
In so many different ages and times
The children no longer children
The past too too much past
Weighing me down with grief and despair
Asking myself how I can go on and for how much longer
Before someone else has to deal with the mess

Television Lovers

Once, something passed between us more than space and time
And something other filled my bed than flailing arms and kicking legs
And nights pass by in silence
Television fills the void
You leave the radio on late to paint the silence
And talk more with the static voices and the singers
The newsreaders tell me more about your world than you
And the dogs walk longer these days than before
and broken things take longer times to heal
the bones, the hearts, the ears, the lips, the words
all the organs of Love, degrading
You turn the volume up louder
And watch
