The Churches Of This World
since then the churches of the world
have gone mad
undesigned are they
to mangers and sheeps
and no light from any star
gets in
there is no window where
the moon can shine
its roof is a thick as
their self-made tenets
their walls are impenetrable
by the simplicities of our lives
their seats are reserved
for the kinds and
other majesties
there is no crib in there
for the baby to cry
and sleep
its floors in shining marbles
its pillars in gold and silver
that even God
would have second thoughts
coming.

Eyes Of Silver
Tom johnston
Eyes of silver hungry and aware
Eyes of silver, your mystic love I share
cause Im hungry baby
For the love you give away
Kick out all that stupid pride
Thats standin in my way
Inside my loving eyes are open wide
Eyes of silver, on which I shall rely
Diamonds are forever, and gold can make you lie
But your eyes of silver shine on, shine on
Blades of steel have helped a man to conquer all
Rubies by the hundreds fill the taj mahal
Eyes of silver, you tell me what I need
To bring this cold and lonely man
Down to his bended knees
Inside my lovin arms are open wide
For you eyes of silver
On which I shall rely
Diamonds and gold make you lie, lie, lie
But your eyes of silver, they shine on, shine on
Eyes of silver, baby, shine on, shine on
Baby, shining, yeah yeah, yeah, baby shining

Baby Crib
A baby soon will sleep in that crib
He will have lots of dreams
Soon you will have those sweet dreams baby
And in your dreams you will be able to count the ships baby
While the angels come down from haven and watch out for you baby
That crib will be the place where he will go to sleep
That crib belongs to him
That crib is an old one
It is one of a kind
You don’t see it anymore
That crib will be nice and warm for him to sleep in the winter nights
And cool in the summer for him to sleep

in perfect meditation in time of Lent
in a world without chairs
or bed, just floors and walls
and a little leaking light from
the roof, gift from the sky
like a lone star at night
i
unburden thoughts
like slowly my hands are throwing
away the pebbles to the ocean
on a journey to a quite place
where i do not have to
think anymore....

Silver, silver and gold
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
Silver, silver and gold
Silver, silver and gold

Silver and gold
Wise men brought gifts to the mange I'm told
Mary was humble to see
Shepherds and kings there on bended knees
It's silver and gold, silver and gold
Feeling the world with their lives
Silver and gold how they shimmer on ev'ry Christmas night

Night Owl
A catfish he tends to groove on the water
Its just where hes bound to be
And a monkey kinds of flashes on fruits and bananas
So he lives in the top of a tree
But my eyes are made for darkness
And so the nighttime is right for me
Said Im a night owl, honey
Sleep all day long
Now most folks they like the good day time
They like to see the shining sun
Theyre up in the morning
Off and running
till theyre too tired for having fun
But when the sun goes down
And them bright light shine
My daytime has just begun
Im a night owl, honey
Sleep all day long
Said turn off that bright light, baby
Youre just about to drive me blind
Draw them curtains for me, mama
You watch and youll see
How my love light shines
Now, theres two sides to this
Great big world
And one of them is always night
Hey, if you can take care of
Business in the sunshine, baby
I guess youre gonna be alright
But dont come looking for stringbean
To lend you a hand
Because my eyes they cant stand the light
No, Im a night owl, honey
Sleep all, sleep all day long
I said sleep all day long
Im a night owl, honey

Moon's Tears
Moon shines down onto Earth
But does she ever really shine?
Or does she just reflect Sun’s light
A sad excuse for originality
Always trying
Never succeeding
To cast her own rays
Coming and going
Offering mystery, hope, light
Staying for a few short hours
Leaving much too soon
Although she struggles to break free of the trap of reflected rays
She’s content
With her lot in life
Even though she can’t make her own light
Nobody will gaze up at Sun in wonderment
That is something reserved for Moon
Sun and Moon work together
Like brother and sister
Fighting every once and a while
But loving each other nonetheless
The end result being a beautiful light
Always shining down
Putting aside their differences
Sun admitting Moon is prettier
Moon admitting Sun is more powerful
A peaceful companionship
Tell me: why can’t the rest of the world act like Sun and Moon?

Gold and Silver
Gold is hills and mountains,
Silver has been weighed all the time
By giants, and elves shall look at the sun.
The moon is silvery in the night due to the night,
There is star that brightens the sky of light,
Inwardly the thoughts do resound,
And the verse is expiring for the thinking men.
Gold has been climbed and fashioned by women
Who eat others and their fathers do have size of wealth.
Silver is praised by the women who dare enter thinking men
And praise them, whilst they who are male construct thoughts
To send to lovers in the night, when the silver moon is in sight.

Shining Starr! !
shining star, shining star,
for how you shine so bright
your my wonderful delight.
shining star, shining star,
why is it you?
is is because i loved you to much?
too much i couldnt see.
shining star, shining star,
my heart is breaking,
i didnt have a clue what to do,
until the day come when i met you.
shining star, shining star,
i feel so used,
but why is this?
i have no clue.
shining star, shining star,
its not only you personality that shines to me,
its you insanity.
ohh shining star, shining star,
what am i going to do without you?
i need you in my life again,
to tell you its alright,
because i love you soo much,
its more than words could write,
now back to reality,
so time to go for now,
but i shall be back.. I MISS YOU! ! !

Like a Star!
Like a star I shine,
I shine among many and still feel special.
Like a star I shine,
I shine and know i have accomplished my mission.
Like a star i shine,
I shine high in the sky,
and realize it is worth my time.
Like a Star I shine,
Shine next to the moon,
and feel the inspiration.
Like a star I shine,
and know that my light counts.
Like a star I shine,
on a cloudy night,
and believe there is tomorrow.
Like a star i shine,
Sometimes alone on a lonely night,
And feel like a star.
Am a star, that i believe,
Coz in all that i do I shine,
And wait for the Night i will shine alone!

Barefoot Floors
Sleep, baby sleep,
I know your day has been oh so long
Sleep, baby sleep,
I know your day has been oh so long
The night falls at your feet
Now the day feels so complete
Compared to darkness
Sleep, baby sleep.
Talk, baby talk
Sweet talk is all its made of
Talk, baby talk
Sweet talk is all its made of
Promises of the morning ways,
New beginnings for another
Day to spend together
Talk, baby talk.
Love, baby love
Has got me walkin on these
Barefoot floors
Love, baby love
Has got me walkin on these
Barefoot floors
Find the light
Surrounding you
Sleep the night til mornings dew
I will be here for you
Love, baby love.

Shatterproof
I see those newly weds
Their eyes wide and believing
They bill and coo at the mention of chez nous
Appearances can be deceiving
Its just a door and a window
Four walls and a roof
But a home of your own would be shatterproof
A door and a window
Four walls and a roof
But a home of your own would be shatterproof
We papered over all the cracks
And painted a cats lick and a promise
The landlord was a man of few words
And most of them were ominous
Its just a door and a window
Four walls and a roof
But a home of your own would be shatterproof
A door and a window
Four walls and a roof
But a home of your own would be shatterproof
It was nothing really to write home about
Then one day it all appears too much
Here comes my little hammer and its shatterproof touch
He said, be practical,
These are most unreasonable demands.
Forget about the broken spectacles
And the damage to your hand.
Its just a door and a window
Four walls and a roof
And the doctors say Im almost shatterproof

A New Star
Orbison dees
The evening sun is falling that old blue moon is calling
My guardian angel in the sky came through
To help all my dreams come true theres a new star.
Theres a new star coming tonight, theres a new love burning
So bright for a new star of love is born between the earth and sky
For you and i.
Theres a new star
The moon was dull, the sky was cold and gray
There were no stars to light my lonely way
And then I traced the lovelight in your eyes
To a new star twinkling in the sky burning bright, day and night
Now Im alright, now were together, lovers forever
A new star, a new star to light our way
Theres a new star burning for us, theres a new world turning for us
Theres a new star sparkling in the sky.
Theres a new star shining somewhere and we know the reason why
Theres a new star way up there for a true love
A new star for our love will never die.

Shine! Shine my star! (Russian romance)
Shine and shine my loving star!
My shining star, my greeting star.
You are the one and cherished only one,
I'll never have another one.
And when the bright night comes down to the ground
So many stars are in the sky
But you're the one, my star, my beauty star,
You shine in gratifying rays.
The star of hope, the star of paradise,
The star of love and magic days.
You'll always be unsetting star of mine,
My soul will long for you and chase.
And all my life lights up with strength of yours,
Your rays are bright and give me light.
And if I die you shine above the grave
Just shine and shine my loving star!

Daydream
Shining in the silver moon,
Crystal ships are sailing to the sea.
Dreams the joys of pearls and gold,
And our angels wings in flight unfold.
Fly, fly by my window,
Flyin so free, yeah.
Yes, they fly, fly by my window.
Yes, those bright diamonds a-once were stone,
Rollin down a silver stream.
Yes, those bright diamonds a-once were stone.
Sail on a silver wings of fire,
Sailing dreams beyond the silver moon.
In silver clouds that fly so high,
Live the dreams you search,
But cant find.

Shining Star II
Shining Star the light of my life
your that one star, I wish upon every night
Everyday, hour, min, sec. that goes by
I think about my Shining Star
wishing it was here next to me
Hoping I would see my Shining Star soon
Holding me and never letting go
Reminiscing on how we met
something that I'll never forget.
You are my guiding light I don't want to let go of
Oh Shining Star how much joy you
bring to this lonely heart
May I ask Shining Star,
Do You Love Me the way I Love You?
We'll see Shining Star
if you really do...
But once again my Shining Star
I would say,
You are my one wish
my one love
my one and only

Love Poem-1 Shine O Moon! Shine.
Shine O Moon! Shine brightly now
for my beloved
is coming to kindle
the fire of love.
Shine O Moon! Shine brightly now.
Unending seemed to be the nights
succumbing to death were diminishing lights
his appearance illuminates now
my temple of love.
Shine O Moon! Shine brightly now.
O moon, play hide and seek
I have him, my love to share
behind the clouds hide you moon
he takes refuge beneath my lustrous hair.
Shine O Moon! Shine brightly if you care
Sing a melody in company of the stars
and sleep with the moonshine
my lap is for him to sleep
as he is only mine.
AS HE IS ONLY MINE.
Shine O Moon! Shine brightly shine.

Night Owl
(james taylor)
Now a fish kinda likes the water
And thats just where he wants to be
And a monkey kinda digs bananas
So he lives in the top of a tree
But my eyes are made for darkness
So the nightime is right for me
cause Im a night owl honey, sleep all day long
Im a night owl honey, sleep all day long
Most folks they like the daytime
cause they like to see the shining sun
Theyre up in the mornin
Off and a runnin till theyre too tired for havin fun
But when the sun goes down
And the bright lights shine
My daytime has just begun
cause Im a night owl honey, sleep all day long
Im a nightowl honey, sleep all day long
Wont you turn out them bright lights baby
Theyre just about to drive me blind
Oh wont you draw then curtains for me papa
Watch and youll see my love light shine
Now there are two sides to this great big world
And one of them is always night
If you can take care of business in the sunshine baby

Star Bright
Star bright, first star I see tonight
Could you oh would you please shine your light
Shine it so I can see, my savior smilin at me
Star bright, I hear you once proclaimed
This is the way, keep on followin me
And at the end of the road will be, a baby
And there, in him youll find, a love that is truly blind
Given so from your heart that love that light, could shine
Shine, shine, shine, shine
Star bright, first star they saw that night
I am aware that this love is for me
And the greatest of gifts is free
Yet my heart of hearts is heavy
Star bright, if I give you my hand
Could you oh would you please see me through
I would love to take my heart blue, and give it to you
And there, in my heart youll find, a love that is truly blind
Given to me, so that I could let my, light shine
Shine, shine, shine, shine,
Star bright
Star bright, star bright, star bright
Star bright, star bright
Shine your light
