The Busy Man.....
he must talk
to divert the attention of his conscience
he has to laugh out loud
to forget what the past is constantly repeating
he has to sing and dance
to appease the anger of that silence
he has to walk away, run as fast as he can
pre-occupy his feet and arms with all the things about to be done
and say that always there are unfinished business
to convince death

I Cant Dance
Hot sun beating down
Burning my feet just walking around.
Hot sun making me sweat
gators getting close, hasnt got me yet
I cant dance, I cant talk.
Only thing about me is the way I walk.

Im just standing here selling everything.
Blue jeans sitting on the beach,
Her dogs talking to me, but shes out of reach.
Shes got a body under that shirt,
But all she wants to do is rub my face in the dirt.

For years I've been trying to evade it
And I thought I'd finally succseeded
But the blackness just keeps crawling in
