That Woman
that woman, when did she ever learn
not to slap you again?
she will never tell you when she will stop.
and you have always been compliant
a christian
as soon as she is finished slapping your right cheek
you soon ready the left cheek and you give her all the joy
of her sadism.
you are not the masochist.you are my wife.
and i am teaching you that her reign is over.
my hands have touched your cheeks and healed the bruise
the pain that seeps down to the layers of your skin
to the years of your burden
let me touch them again like i am a leaf to a whorled vine
i have the cure
this love of mine
i have these fingers that can unlock the reason of your
pain.
let me open the door for you. let me close it
away from that witch
let the white dove
fly finally to the skies
look at me. now my dear wife
you are free!

Let My Love Open The Door

The people keep repeatin'
The children follow along
Everybody keeps from changin'
And you could say you did enough...
Let my love open your door... (3x)

Let my love open the door (2x)
When everything feels all over
Everybody seems unkind
I'll give you a four-leaf clover
Take all worries out of your mind

Let my love open the door...

Let my love open the door...
Have the only key to your heart...

Somebody give me the chance to say...
Let my love open your door...

When trouble really falls you...
Don't let it tie you down

Is love holy?
A girl next door is the nectar
For a boy who has no one sweeter.
For her, none is absolute viewer.
So I loved her to my heart. Did she?
No clue she shed either,
As to her pouring me her nectar.
Yet I sat on wait
As would a crane at a strait,
For a tryst,
Which is not easy in a tiny village,
Where even a cough is news.
There were many to love her,
Her ma, her pa and her peers,
But none could be a match
Like me to kindle her itch.
Love is God so, of her I was mad.
Loving one is neither bad.
‘Love neigbours.’
‘Love across cast and creed.’
‘Plants and animals are also
Objects of love.’- all these
I learnt from scriptures and believed.
So loving her is right and a right too.
Close to winter, at sunset, one day,
I encountered her, alone, brisk in walk,
On a footpath leading to her door,
And waylaid her. ‘I love you dear’
A slap! An effect of her reflex act.
To put her to the shame for her ruthless act,
I showed her my left cheek,
Repeating ‘I love you’.
Another slap! She relented not.
Only consolation- I got her touch.
Her lotus fingers like betel tendrils
Cheered my cheeks and pained my jaws.
I went back straight, not to weep,
Not to revenge but to put on fire
All the scriptures and the teachings
That taught me in length about love,
And to proclaim my declaration,
‘Love every soul save a girl:
Love even a devil but not a girl.’

The Pain Exchange Shop.
Fed up feeling that same old pain
stern and hurting me, yet again
Chronic pain takes over your life
Cuts you in two, just like a knife
There should be a pain exchange shop
Anything to make this pain stop
It would be open every day
And it would take my pain away
Look for pain, on the internet
Pain-free shopping is not here yet
Go to Ebay to place a bid
Gnawing pain, I’ve got to get rid
Do anything to be pain-free
Suicide? Nah, that’s not for me
Ten years now, and I still can’t cope
In the future, will there be hope?
I’ve got to keep on keeping on
Tomorrow my pain could be gone
I’m lying to myself, once more
Time to exit, show me the door!

Didn't You Welcome It To Visit?
When did you close the window?
When did you stop...
Finding the World too real to face?
When did you decide,
You would isolate yourself and hide?
When did you close the window?
When did your disgust...
Encrust a frown upon your smile?
It appears it has been there,
For quite a while.
What will it take,
To replace that with hope?
Don't close the door...
To sit alone and mope!
Open up that window.
Unlock that door you have blocked.
Tell yourself to stop this self defeat.
It is easier than you think.
If you trust with faith and believe...
You don't need to wallow and weep.
You don't need to share that,
With others you might see who grieve.
Free yourself...
And let that be,
The escape someone else may follow!
You never know who is peeking.
Wishing for one like you...
To lead and show them the way!
Open up that window.
Unlock that door you have blocked.
Tell yourself to stop this self defeat.
You can!
Didn't you welcome it to visit?
Has it not overstayed,
And made itself too comfortable?
Free yourself...
And let that be,
The escape someone else may follow!
You never know who is peeking.
Wishing for one like you...
To lead and show them the way!
They too may have unwelcomed guests to rid!
Show them how that is done!
Do it now.
Today!
Open up that window.
Unlock that door you have blocked.
No need to be hospitable,
To something or someone...
That can be stopped.
Whose prisoner are you anyway?
And why is your defeat so much needed?
And to whom is this feeding being pleasingly fed?

It's not that I hate women, Dear homegrown comrades
By Ombuge Moses
Dear Homegrown comrades,
It’s not that I hate women
As naught as I may look
As humble as I am
In-fact,
I treasure women
I love women
I adore women
I want to date a woman
Marry a woman
Have children
Have a birth control
Be a village elder
Not a polygamist
As you say it, culture dictates
But the way you do it!
It’s not that I hate women
Dear homegrown comrades
At 12 years
Young girl is sent
A razor to buy
A river to wash
The bush to host
Home not to turn
The cut, so merciless
So inhuman
So painful
The elder women
Steer the process
Culture to maintain
The men are mobilized
Bidding for a wife
A wife at 12
This is not human
It’s not that I hate women
Dear homegrown comrades
The young girl wails
Pain to suffocation
Pain of a bloody cut
A cut treasured by society
Maintained by women
Elderly, to be home
Preparations to make
To make, a wife
A wife at 12
Dear homegrown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
In the bush, she is tied
Tied together, her legs
Urine not to spill
Spilling is bad omen
More cut is initiated
This hurting feeling
As you read
Am hurting
To witness, to victim
Think twice
Upon my letter
It’s not that I hate women
Dear homegrown comrades
Its weeks of heeling
A process of making
Making a wife
A wife at 12
Men continue bidding
Local brew in containers
Highest bidder carries the day
Walking tall, tall they are
Short is the girl
A wife at 12
Dear homegrown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
The man maybe tall, short, thin but not fat
The man maybe 98
Maybe 70
Maybe 48
Maybe 32
Maybe 21
Maybe 13
The wife at 12
The highest bidder
Takes her away
This culture is a pain
The pain has to stop
Dear home grown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
From the bush
The girl is brought
Lead by elderly women
Celebrations underway
Men prepare the meat
A wife is ready
The husband of any age
The wife at 12
The people are happy
Culture is blossoming
Ululations are heard
The animal lost a life
A wife has been made
Its not amusing
A wife at 12
Dear homegrown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
The men are lined
The women Dance
The meat in plenty
The chosen woman
Most, elderly
Reveals the secret
To the girl about husband to be
The girl is to point
Failure result to beating
Hurting the healing girl
Until she chooses
The husband to be
Culture dictates
Dear home grown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
As sun sets
Dust settles
Bones pile
New territory created
Polygamy has ruled
Chosen husband
Highest bidder
98 years of age
Has a new wife
A wife at 12
To pile in a hut
Children to bear
Culture dictates
To this
A risky business
As you call me “the village boy”
Until we change
Dear home grown comrades
It’s not that I hate women
Women to be protect
Educated to be
Marriage when they want
Hard it may sound
To this I rest
In my hat
My skin bed, so cold
Tomorrow not to witness
Dear homegrown comrades
In my heart
Women I love
It’s a mistake to mistake me
Its not that I hate women
Yours,
The village Boy

Reign In Pain (Heavy Metal Jamboree)
All right boys, are you ready?
Here it comes....lets go!
Reign in Pain, c'mon we're gonna reign in pain (x2)
Get ready we're coming for you we're gonna make our way through your town
Prepare for this evil affair by letting everyone around
Realize you'll be demonized we're gonna make sure you get stung
Don't stop we're about to rock bring your Converse shoes with maxi-pad tongues, yeah!
(Chorus)
Your futures looking grim
Lets bathe in sin
If your looking for a show you'll see we got a heavy metaljamboree
It's not so nice, but we've got your vice
If your looking for a debauchery we got a heavy metaljamboree
Reign in PAIN, c'mon we're gonna reign in PAIN(x2)
Come with me i can guarantee you can loan your soul to us
Understand we're a trusted brend-our metel never rusts
We're proud we play our music LOUD coming through a Marshall stack
Look mean when our haircuts scream business in the front and party in the back
(Chorus)
Your future's looking grim
Lets bathe in sin
If your looking for a show you'll see we got a heavy metal jamboree
It's not so nice, but we've got your vice
If your looking for debauchery we got a heavy metaljamboree
Pleasure, give them what they want!
Reign in PAIN c'mon we're gonn reign in PAIN(x2)
Reign, reign, reign, reign, reign in PAIN(x2)
Reign in pain!

Pain for you
This pain is for you
Many things I believe for you is pain
I dont want any pain from you but I accepted your pain
I'll take the pain from you forever
Pain can be your own mistake
pain can lead to your own troubles
pain can lead to anything inside of you
you just need to get some help
you need some assistances to get you out of the pain
Many pains cannot be removed
many can stay forever and ever
many think pain isnt nothing for them
pain is everything you learn from outside world
you may get it someday
someday you will see what I learn from pain
you can see me with cuts on my arms
that was pain, everything I want is pain
Love is pain too you know
you left me alone in the outside world
pain is getting inside of me, not letting me go
I'm alone in the darkness of shadows
This pain is for you
Many things I believe for you is pain
I dont want any pain from you but I accepted your pain
I'll take the pain from you forever
This pain is everything painful has it is
ready for everything is to be done for you
I'll be ready for everyone's pain
Every shadows of darkness is there inside of me
tearing me apart to learn from you and the people
So I'll take everyone's pain away
so you can tell me about your pain and
forever pure

Uncurable Pain
Someone out there has a cure to my pain,
But the faster they cure mine someone else feels the same.
It's probably a cure for my pain, maybe it is, or maybe it's not,
Whatever this pain is, it hurts alot.
My pain is like a river that never starts to flow,
But I know I'm not the only person with pain, other people have pain also.
Pain is like one of a kind like me and you,
It doesn't hurt as bad because I know it is something that I got to live through.
This pain is a mixture between life and death,
It was me all along hurting myself.

I'm
199
I'm "wife"—I've finished that—
That other state—
I'm Czar—I'm "Woman" now—
It's safer so—
How odd the Girl's life looks
Behind this soft Eclipse—
I think that Earth feels so
To folks in Heaven—now—
This being comfort—then
That other kind—was pain—
But why compare?
I'm "Wife"! Stop there!

All Mine (Demo)
I've got blood on my hands from this little timid life
It's just like a man, to trust me with all his might
I've got mud on my feet, when I kicked you back 3 wks.
If I promised to keep my mouth shut, can I sit her while you speak
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Where did it get me, all mine
What did it teach me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control again
I've got honor to earn
But I guess I lost my turn
When will I learn, to treat you with concern
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Finally mine, your finally all mine
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control
All mine
Where did it get me, all mine
Look what it taught me, all mine
Somebody stop me, I'm losing control

Honey Biscuits And Gravy
My wife and I sat down one day
to honey biscuits and gravy
and when the last of it was on my plate
what did she say to me
She said, 'my dear devoted husband
husband of many years
would you give the last of that breakfast treat
oh would you please, my dear? '
I said, 'my wife, my darling wife
wife of many years
of biscuits and gravy I cannot part'
so with my fork I began to start
But before I could reach the plate
I was stopped by my hungry mate
She said, 'I'll give you silver and gold
all the fortunes yet untold
if you'll give what's on your plate
the still standing honey biscuit and gravy'
I said, 'my dear, darling wife
wife of many a day
nothing short of a great earthquake
can make me part with my plate'
And then she grew desperate
a horrid fiend intemperate, she said
'You'll be the sole head of the estate
for that last serving of biscuits and gravy! '
I said, 'dear, devoted wife
wife of many a day
you don't know that with what you give
so willingly away'
She said, 'a small price, a small price
I eagerly will pay
for that last remaining morsel
left standing on your plate'
So I did the deed, I confess
and now I must say
my wife's head tasted just as good
as honey biscuits and gravy

My Curse
Sorry for my existence
I'm sorry for my presence
Sorry that I'm a coward
I sent your life quite backwards
Sorry for my pair of eyes
Those two always tell lies
Pardon me dear for my pretense
I'll make it up once life returns
Sorry for that one last touch
Lord knows I'm sorry for the rush
I'm sorry I'm still in love
This time with an angel, a dove
Sorry for that one lonely sparkling tear
The pain lasted a day, then the year
Sorry I'm always writing 'bout the past
And stories with you and I in the cast
Sorry for whoever I have been
I wish it'll fade away as a dream
Pardon me again for the rain and pain
And the tear that came amidst the first stain
Sorry I had to break that fragile heart
Though I tried to stop it from falling apart
I'm sorry, so sorry I'm still in love
This time I know for sure tis from above
Sorry I ever spoke to you
And when I was finished time was due
Sorry I'll never get into that heart
I wont get to call you my sweetheart
Sorry for coming here too late
My weary eyes missed your heart's gate
I hope I'm pardoned for all I have done
You were and will always be the one
If I'm asked to move back in time
I will move in a single line
That is back into my dear's life
To make her my lovely wife

Why is there pain in this world?
Why is there pain in this world?
When brothers fight brothers for no reason
Faced with the light of a gun ready to shot down there own
Yet the pain and the suffering never stops people
When the guns go off and children die
Why is there pain in this world?
When family fight when kids are looking on
Yet they never see the pain and suffering that they have caused
Yet when they see it too late time has gone
If only they notice there pain as well
Why is there pain in this world?
When the school bell has gone kids should be happy
Yet in the dark corner lays the bully ready to pound his prey
Yet the victim suffer in pain and silent’s too scared
To tell other what is going on
Why is there pain in this world?
When people are hungry when you or I have enough
Why can’t we help them try and ease the pain we can stop them being hungry
We can ease there pain and stop them from starving
Why can’t you see that when I can?
Why is there pain in this world?
When all we need to do is open are eyes and look
Yet were a nation a world that too blind to notice the pain that does not need to be
So here these words open your eyes and see if you can help.
Pain can be eased if only you believe that you can see.

Whatever Will Be Will Be
Got a letter just the other day
So much was left unsaid
When you went away
How my heart grew so cold
From the misery of dreams ago
An open envelope
The last time that we spoke
You said that you would always be my man
And now this letters here
What will you say my dear
To bring me to emotions once again
The truth of it you say
Theres never been day
That youre not sorry you apologize
But life teaches new things
Beyond the pain it brings
You to a place where you are truly wise
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
I know weve made mistakes
Cause love is give and take
I mean to say it wasnt all your fault
I too had some regrets
Such pain Ive felted yet
Its better to have love than not at all
The memories we had of all the good and bad
Has helped me be the woman that I am
So dont apologize
Ive come to realize
Just what is meant by all in love is fair
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Sometimes its just not meant to be
But the love that we share goes on and on
Spiritually therell be no more crying
No and therell be no more lying no no no no no
And the truth that we gained will offset the pain
And now we finally see
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Que sera sera
What will be will be
Im happy for you and me
That we can finally see what was meant
Hmm hmm hey ooh yeah oh
Ooh

In The Round Tower At Jhansi
A hundred, a thousand to one; even so;
Not a hope in the world remained:
The swarming howling wretches below
Gained and gained and gained.
Skene looked at his pale young wife:—
'Is the time come?'—'The time is come!'—
Young, strong, and so full of life:
The agony struck them dumb.
Close his arm about her now,
Close her cheek to his,
Close the pistol to her brow—
God forgive them this!
'Will it hurt much?'—'No, mine own:
I wish I could bear the pang for both.'
'I wish I could bear the pang alone:
Courage, dear, I am not loth.'
Kiss and kiss: 'It is not pain
Thus to kiss and die.
One kiss more.'—'And yet one again.'—
'Good-bye.'—'Good-bye.'

Locked Inside Her Pain
Living day to day in severe pain,
overwhelming is her pain today,
can't walk too good, for her legs hurt so.
Kind and gentle she is, through all of her pain,
even on her worst days, she always has a smile
and a kind word for those who may pass by her way.
Day after day I watch her in pain
and pray there was something I could do.
Intensely wanting to just be able to take all her pain away,
nothing I can do to help her with it.
Sweet and loving she is, her pain is sometimes unbearable.
Intense pain is what she lives with everyday.
Doctors won't give her anything for fear she may be allergic.
Each and everyday her pain becomes worse.
Hating myself because there is nothing I can do to help her,
hoping that someday they will find a cure for Fibromyalgia and tendontis,
realizing that she may never ever be pain free.
Patiently, she tries to do the things she used to do
but, once again her pain stops her from doing them.
Inside her pain she cries, for relief of her pain or maybe a cure
never getting the relief she so deserves, or wants.
Dear Lord, please take my mom's pain away,
so she will no longer be locked inside her pain
and give her the life she used to know back,
so that she can live her life a normal person without pain,
and God, please be with her every day and night
and keep her safe and warm.

Forgive Me
Every day I give you a reason to cry
'cause I see the hurt in your eyes
but stronger yet
I see the love that shines
help me learn to take on the nature of you
and love more than I accuse
and pardon others like you taught me to
Something happens inside my heart
Lord when I obey
something happens inside my heart
every time I pray
Forgive me
as I learned how to forgive
and reach out through the pain
and touch with hands of grace
forgive me
as I learn how to forgive
and reach out through my own pain
and touch with hands of grace
As you prayed for those who crucified you
"forgive they don't know what they do"
compassion reached out to a world confused
help me learn to bless those who persecute me
and pray for my enemies
and show them mercy like you've shown to me
'Cause something happens inside my heart
Lord when I obey
something happens inside my heart
every time I pray
Forgive me
as I learn how to forgive
the ones that broke my heart
the way I've broken yours
forgive me
as I learn how to forgive
and reach out through my own pain
and touch with hands of grace
Forgive me

Wedding Band
Joey Wedding Band
JoAnn was the birth name of my wife
To me Joey was her name for a lot of our married life
One of the best things anyone could ask for in life
Is to have a good and loving wife
When it comes time for me to pass no matter day or night
I hope and pray that my wife will be my guiding light
I did not complement my wife as much as I could of
But with all my heart I gave her my love
My wife is in heaven watching over our family
Hoping we could be the best we could be
I am now living by myself and on my own
I have my dogs and my family but I feel alone
I never thought I knew how bad pain could ever be
Until my wife died and left me
At times my wife lets me know she is near
She turns off the picture frame to let me know she is here
On a chain around my neck I wear my wife’s wedding band
I also still wear mine on the finger of my left hand
To anyone who reads this poem do not let the time with your family go
Everything is gone before you know

Who is a wife?
Who is a wife?
Who can be a virtuous wife?
Who is a wife?
Who can stand the strife
To be a wife?
There is a woman
And there is a wife
Any one can be a woman
But not any one can be a wife
A wife will stand for her pride
A woman will always want a ride
A wife will say
“we ‘ll have a say”
A woman will say
“I ‘ld have a say”
A wife will say
“WE bought you those”
A woman will say
“Mom bought you those”
A wife would say
“We share the bills”
A woman would say
“I share the bills”
A wife cooks what “we” like
A woman cooks what “I” like.
A wife loves unconditionally
A woman loves conditionally
A wife always stands by…
A woman sometimes stands by…
A wife thinks about “us”
A woman thinks about “me”
A wife supports the plans
A woman plans the supports
A wife keeps the relationship
A woman snubs the relationship
A WIFE IS OPPOSITE OF A WOMAN
Who then is a wife?
Amidst all my strife
I‘ve found a darling wife
You too can, if you also tried.

You are mine
Right through the night
you have been mine
and while time got wings,
I felt your soft body
clinging to me
and there was something
in your touch and embrace
that left another state of grace.
You were mine
when passion ran
like a wild fire
and your breath,
brushed my cheek
and cries of rapture
went in to the dark night
and pleasure found its mark.
In every possibility and way
that life goes on,
in every attitude and feeling,
you are my woman and my wife
and the one
around whom I build my life.
When I hold you in my arms
it feels as if nothing can part us
and I hear your true heart
beating for me
and I am free from self
and love with more than mere passion.
You are mine and will forever
be with me
and even when this life
speeds past its limits,
it’s just like the morning mist
and the infinite thing that binds us
still remains in my heart
and in a way
we can never part again.
