That Porcelain Bowl
my heart delights
to see an empty porcelain bowl
on the table
i wish i'd be one
empty and can still be filled
someday you may fill me
again
like a fish
soup.

Disciplined
like a disciplined cat
he sits on the chair
on a motionless scale
staring at an empty
breakfast table
an empty cup
an empty bowl
on those empty hours
she expects him to say
meow
but he didn't
in an hour he left and
tells the wind about it.

Empty Room
Empty room, empty room
How am I gonna fill U?
How am I gonna fill this empty room?
Lonely hearts, worlds apart
Why must they be broken?
How am I gonna ever fill this empty room?
And what is wrong when love is strong?
Why can't it last 4ever?
How could U go and leave me all alone?
Tears fall on barren walls
But what's the use in cryin'?
I gotta find a way 2 fill this empty room

Empty Apartment
Call me out
You stayed inside
One you love
Is where you hide
Shot me down as I flew by
Crash and burn
I think sometimes you forget where the heart is
Answer no to these questions
Let her go, learn a lesson
It's not me, you're not listening now
Can't you see something's missing?
You forget where the heart is
Take you away from that empty apartment
You stay and forget where the heart is
Someday if ever you love me you'd say it's okay
Waking up from this nightmare
How's your life, what's it like there?
Is it all what you want it to be?
Does it hurt when you think about me?
And how broken my heart is
Take you away from that empty apartment
You stay and forget where the heart is
Someday if ever you love me you'd say it's okay
It's okay to be angry and never let go
It only gets harder the more that you know
When you get lonely if no one's around
You know that I'll catch you when you're falling down
We came together but you left alone
And I know how it feels to walk out on your own
Maybe someday I will see you again
And you'll look me in my eyes and call me your friend
Take you away from that empty apartment
You stay and forget where the heart is
Someday if ever you love me you'd say its okay
It's okay
It's okay

Walking With The Lover...
walking with the Lover...
i see empty fields plowed,
come alive with crops abundant.
empty factory buildings filled
with the ghosts of hard working lives.
empty houses lit up,
and the sounds of families.
empty hands given cups and bowls,
empty hearts held close!
empty words given meaning,
empty promises fulfilled.
walking with the Lover...
touching the plenty of empty!

Strike Me (And Be Done)
if i am a bridge,
i need to feel your feet
on my back...
if i am a walking stick,
keep me with you
on your journey.
if i am a blanket,
cover yourself against
the cold night...
if i am a bowl, a spoon,
the soup, and the taste...
fill your empty stomach!
if i am dead branches,
gather me for the fire.
if i am a match,
strike me, and be done.

Composing A Poem For The One Who Loves You
how do you compose a poem for the one who
(pretends to love you?)
loves you and yet you feel nothing at all?
well, perhaps,
and i guess, there is no problem with the choice of words,
or images,
for in this case, what you will write is something that you do not really mean,
like an empty cup without hot water
and you just place it on the table and you wait,
since you only fill it with air,
and some sighs,
yet somehow how can you ever hurt?
like pretending also to love someone who pretends also
to love you?
it is all an imagination,
pretending that the water is hot when there is nothing
but the coldness of the
porcelain,
pretending that there is coffee, when there is nothing
to smell and taste,
when there is nothing so sweet as sugar
or as creamy as cream,
you write something so unreal,
it is bland, it is empty, it is sad.

Explorations: XXVI
I stand
At your door-step
With an empty bowl
I can't ask you
Why I'm made
To stand there
I can't ask you
Why my bowl
Is empty;
The bowl
The emptiness
And I
Are all your design
Are your creation!

Absence
My cup is empty to-night,
Cold and dry are its sides,
Chilled by the wind from the open window.
Empty and void, it sparkles white in the moonlight.
The room is filled with the strange scent
Of wistaria blossoms.
They sway in the moon's radiance
And tap against the wall.
But the cup of my heart is still,
And cold, and empty.
When you come, it brims
Red and trembling with blood,
Heart's blood for your drinking;
To fill your mouth with love
And the bitter-sweet taste of a soul.

Fish the Fish
fish makes every fish catch, the tail that
smell like fish as the angler bait its fishing
rod bit each heart beat, the triumphant
heart break its brake the nylon cord that
hold the hook that synchronize the timing
swings of each hand lifting as it goes
catching the net as it swing in the thread
that fishes the fish
strength hold on, tie so quick on, leave no
loose every cost is to repulse, time is
sweeten in the fish in the table all are
refresh, every fisherman switch the light in
the kitchen the kittle, the cool plate and the
fire is burning on
sweet smells like a baby, in every nose so
shiny, in every dinning table everybody is
happy ready to take like party, now all
hands should hold, and bring every magical
strength enfold, the fish is in the running
water waiting for us to carry in every heart,
please prepare the place, the net is
empty …… come and fish the fish

How can I empty My Mind?
Came out that emptiness,
Bored of what I was,
Looking at the atom shining somewhere in me,
I looked at wonderful world I entered,
Looking at beauties with beautiful faces,
I was only the faceless,
Wished to have a face!
Result is what I am now,
Facing problems of having a face,
Not seen by myself!
Some say look into mirror,
But mirror showed image which is not me,
How can live this is me looking at image?
In the path I met some one,
They said ' you suffered a lot,
Empty your mind, be happy, '
But how can empty my mind,
So many fill it everyday,
Hungry faces,
thirsty minds,
Needy hands fill compassion,
lusty and greedy, selfish and cruel fill
people fill pain,
Wise one fill wisdom,
Fools fill laughter,
Friends fill it with love and smile!
How can I empty my mind,
When beauty around,
Smiling kids, playing puppies,
Jumping and running kittens,
colourful fragrant flowers,
Surrounded by bees and butterflies,
Green trees with wide hands full of fruits,
All call me to enjoy with them!
Tall standing trees and stubborn mountains,
lakes and oceans full of life,
they fill my mind as much I empty, more they fill!
I emptied mind in meditation,
But the beauty of one who filled beauty in all filled my mind,
How can empty love for that beautiful one,
Who is that beauty in all that's beautiful!
Smiling and loving people,

Empty
A table, chair,
and empty wall
surround me where I sit,
my thoughts hark back
to days gone by
and the way it used to be.
Everything was touched
with love;
its warmth enveloped me here.
Every room was filled
with wonderful things
dotted here and there.
The walls were never empty,
pictures and photographs
looked down at me,
as I would sit here.
Someone had forgotten bills
that had to be paid.
Then came the bailiffs.
I look around and everything is gone.
My life is left in misery.
Oh, what happened?
What went so dearly wrong?
Our loving home is now empty, even of you.

Fallen, Empty, And Broken
fallen soldier
fallen sky
fallen angel
from on high
fallen heartache
fallen soul
fallen man
losing control
empty bed
empty arms
empty dreams
empty heart
empty wallet
empty hands
cant take nothin'
from an empty man
broken promises
broken vows
broken spirit
wont allow
broken fences
broken lives
broken tomorrows
broken nights
fallen, empty, and broken
every road is the same
bent, bruised, and shaken
still numb from the pain
now you dont answer
when i call out your name
fallen, empty, and broken
walking in the rain...
fallen, empty, and broken...

The Banquet For The Spectator
the table is abundant
like life, but to be happy
i eat nothing,
i watch them all
fill their appetites
after this banquet
i ask them to take away
all that is unconsumed.
when the table is empty
what i have is full satisfaction
of course, i never tell them
i am polite.

Empty Arms
Empty arms
That long for you
And they wait
Dear just for you
And these arms
Will stay this way
Till you return
To them someday
Each lonely night
I go to bed
I hug the pillow
Where you used to lay your head
Empty arms
But not for long
Cause my babys coming home
And when he
Walks through the door
These empty arms
Ill have no more
And when he
Walks through that door
These empty arms
Ill have no more
These empty arms
Ill have no more

Empty time, empty place. Empty heart, empty space.
Empty time, empty place.
Empty heart, empty space.
Give a little, fight a war
Take a lot, there is more.
Left to die, all alone.
Blackened sins to atone.
In a place by a stream,
in a dark, empty dream.
In a room candles glow.
Truth prevails if you know.
Something sweet and something blue.
Something with a natural hue.
What Joy
What joy has filled my empty heart
For so long starved of love,
My spirit floating through the air
And on the clouds above.
What joy has come to me at last
When all my hope had gone,
For finally my luck has changed
And fortune now has shone.
What joy when all I had was lost
Alone and poor was I,
But now my future seems so clear
Just like the summer sky.
What joy has filled my empty heart
Now it does sing for thee,
The love for which I'd waited long
Shall last eternally.

Patches The Great
BEHOLD
AND BOW!
The greatness
of her majesty
Patches The Cat
She has terrorized couches
only to sharpen her claws
and conquered basements
when her litter box
was over populated
All have fell
under the charm
of her soft white fur
No one can resist the
enticing feel
And in the event
one should resist
a roaring demand
she will squeal
O Patches!
How you rule this kingdom
through your hedonism
You never lift a paw
You give command
by just laying around
Your bowl
should never be empty
and always be filled
with the best flavors in town
But if you should find
your bowl to be empty
(a tragic event)
O! The wrath
on our dinner plates
you will bestow
I am not her master
you see
I am her humble servant
O how I take pride
in the service
of serving

Shadow Of A Fish
i swear i have seen the shadow of
a dried fish
its head hanging on the chimney
on a very long thin thread
of life and death
i like the scene of its shadow
dancing on my empty white

Christ Still Redeems
Short and abrupt they seem to be; almost miserable is what it seems,
Filled with discontent and a need, yet they go on with empty dreams.
Searching alone to fill their need, they fall into many evil schemes,
But look to your Eternal needs, and you’ll find Christ still redeems.
This life is filled with vanity, chasing dreams that just won’t be,
Pursuing dreams of vanity, your heart and life will remain empty.
But Christ came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly,
Yes He gives you life abundantly, step out in faith and you will see.
God knows your needs, it is true, and it doesn’t matter what you do,
Seek first God’s Kingdom and all of your needs will be given to you,
Once you’re in Christ old things fade, and He makes all things new,
He’s coming back to take you to a new place He’s prepared for you.
Many are walking the empty and deceptive road of self gratification,
Although satisfied for a time, they will face eternal condemnation.
There is another road to select, with a sure everlasting foundation,
This road is free of man’s deception and it leads to God’s Salvation.
Busy at life taking care of needs, I didn’t need God, so it seemed,
But life can be quite empty indeed, trying to be one who’s esteemed.
Now that I’m saved and doing God’s deeds, never once had I dreamed,
That I would be attempting to lead you to be one of God’s Redeemed.
