Spontaniety 101
no excuses at this hour
we do what we can do
just that no language barrier
over feelings that gush like
wall clocks and springboards
you stand naked on top of our
sights on that board
below is the blue water of the pool
it is deep and then
you let go of that body
and like a bullet penetrates the
plainness
not painless really but
there is this sense of
i did it
i did it
on purpose and those of you
you see that
embrace regret.

Naked Eye
You can come inside
Come into the naked eye
My only world falls in again
I see your face fall in again
Its so dark
I dont know your name

Only mirrors lie only mirrors lie now
Through the needles eye
Through the needles eye now

Lie lie

Going up on the wall
And youre down below me
Look all around look all around now

Just me and you
Just just just the two of us

Just One Of Those Mornings
I woke up this morning in a confused state
and found myself part of a huge mistake.
Here I was amidst a time contradiction,
which left its telling to pure prediction.
I thought I was in another dimension,
where chaos ruled by deliberate intension.
What is the correct time I repeatedly asked myself
the wall clocks all differ to the one on the shelf.
Our mobile phones display different times
and the microwave clock is an hour behind.
I'll check with Sky news, their clocks always on,
but why do some show that an hour has gone?
My mind is searching for a rational explanation,
be logical I thought after some deliberation.
My eureka moment came when my head cleared,
thank God an hour gets lost only once a year.

Excuses
Yo, whats up, this is Ginuwine
And I wanna tell you
It aint no time for excuses with your woman
You be right or you be out, ya heard
Do it right, check this is out
This is my story
Theres a time that comes in a mans life
When is real, want it all, when his mind is right
It could come at any time, morning, noon or night
You would know at the time, nothing more to fight
He might not, and I know cause Ive done the same
You know Im right there with you, dog, but she wont
play the game
She will be done packed your bags, sit em all there
right outside your door
Cause shes tired of the lyin s*** and she aint
takin no more, oh, no she aint
Excuses (Everybody has one)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear them no more, oh)
Excuses (She said take that s*** elsewhere)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear no), excuses {She dont}
Excuses (She aint got time for them)
Excuses (So dont fill her mind with them, no)
Excuses (She said take that s*** elsewhere)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear no), excuses {She dont}
Take her out, hold her hand, let her know youll die
for her
Cause thats your lady, yes, thats your baby
Shes a seed, feed her well, watch her blossom out
And only the real players out there can dig what Im
talkin bout
Be that man, be that one, do the things she loves
Pay attention, should I mention how it all was once
You broke your neck just to get her, dont you pull
back now
Cause sooner or later shell be gone, what youre
askin now
Excuses (Everybody has one)
Excuses (But she dont wanna hear them no more, oh, no
she dont)
Excuses (She said take that s*** elsewhere)
Excuses (Oh...), excuses {She dont}
Excuses (Yeah, she)
Excuses (Dont fill her mind)
Excuses (She said take that s*** else, oh, yes, she
did)
Excuses, excuses (Listen) {She dont}
Dont fake nor front, tell her now
Make your choice right now
Tell her where you stand
Youre no boy or little kid, youre grown
Standin big, young man
Think what brought that in, ooh
All that s*** youre talkin bout like you aint
heard the phone
Shes up on it, dog, shes up on it, dog
And all that fake s*** like your beeper was off
Shes up on it, dog, shes up on it, dog (Ooh...)
Excuses (Everybody gots one)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear them)
Excuses (She said take that s*** elsewhere)
Excuses, excuses {She dont} (She dont)
Excuses (She aint got time for them)
Excuses (So dont fill her mind with them)
Excuses (Huh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no)
Excuses (No, no, no), excuses {She dont} (She dont
wanna)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear no excuses)
Excuses (Ooh, she dont wanna)
Excuses (Come on)
Excuses (She dont wanna hear them), excuses {She
dont}
Excuses (She aint got time, huh, she dont feel them)
Excuses (Ooh, ooh, she dont deserve)
Excuses (No, huh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no)
Excuses, excuses (She dont wanna) {She dont}

The Naked Man!
only the naked man,
who's left all baggage behind,
can stand in the heat of the fire,
and slay the corporate beast!
only the naked man,
who wears his scars with pride,
can forgive the unforgivable,
and so heal this land.
only the naked man,
without pretense or game,
can stand up to the truth,
and set the captives free!
only the naked man,
with nothing left to lose,
can find the light
in a sky darkened by greed.
only the naked man,
beaten and cursed,
will stand and give a hand
without seeing your face...
only the naked man...
no longer praying to an unknown god,
will beat the sacred drum,
that wipes away your tears...
only the naked man!

Antique
Put me on the wall like she always do,
never been dusted off know she cheatin too,
beenin on the wall see everything like mini doll,
can't believe she keep blowing me off,
nothing but a antique put on a wall,
hear every sound see every fall,
see you cryin can't stand that you doing me wrong,
but its ok I forgive every winter,
when you tryin to auction me off,
can't stand that wall so dusted up there,
if I fall I'm going to break nobody cares,
Imagine me as a antique,
know it bugs you because it bugs me,
like bugs cause the glass has holes,
feeling so lonely up on a board walkway,
see you tomarrow girl in the same place,
I know she got gace but I don't see it,
when she cook bacon I have to smell it,
antique antique antique,
now lookin for change don't know if I find it,
nothing but a antique seeing & hearing everything.

Wake Up
Wake up, set your sights
For never shall we fail
Stand up for your rights
And justice will prevail
You're listening
Through endless nights
And decision is your goal
So wake up, set your sights
Oh, the time is right for your role
Yeah, or your role
Wake up, wake up, wake up
Set your sights
Never, never, never
Shall we fail
Stand up, stand up, stand up
For your rights
Justice, justice, justice
Will prevail
There in the morning
Flying over the hills
While men are yawning
They are crushed by our wills
Never have i witnessed
People in fear
Not like today
Not in many a year
Go kill another
There are more close behind
"no" screams a mother
"are you out of your mind"
Though they are shattered
They just don't seem to yield
Bodies are scattered
In all parts of the field
Oh no, did i tell you
What would happen if you tried
"oh god, stop this killing!"
Said a young man
Before he died

Worlds Apart
somewhere behind the wall an the glass, my barrier
I can still see her
it's not just the physical distance
it's the invisible wall of my circumstance
I can't talk to you, not just because you're not here
but because you could never hear
with open ears and understand why
and now you can never know me
because I've hidden from you, m all you may do is sigh
and wonder if I; m something more, but never see
now we're worlds apart and e can't talk
I can't speak to you through the glass
I cannot show who I am or how I feel
never to you, not to you, not to who I cherish, not the one i hold dear
not one i trust and want to hold near
can never tell the one who ought to know it all
never tell the one who could break the wall
no. not you, because i need this wall
it keeps me in, but protects me from the love we could share
HAHA who can i kid? i would never even dare
profess to you, because the assurance of a negative response is my
reason. And now we're worlds apart
you stay in yours and ill stay in mine..... I pray you find Jesus
but i am too weak to lead you, I'd get caught up in feelings and love
i wish i could give you my heart
but its not time stay in your world, and strengthen the glass
not to worry, you won't love me, because you won't know me im in another world

It Was An Icy Winter Afternoon (Roundelay)
It was an icy winter afternoon
when I heard a bird crooning a cheery tune
and suddenly although feeling quite old
its song came as barrier against the cold.
I saw branches of naked stripped trees
like skeletons rocking in the strong breeze
while quite happily that bird sang quite bold,
its song came as barrier against the cold.

On the whitewashed wall
A train of black Ants like a pilgrimage,
While they are going never miss to talk each other.
Where are they going?
It's a puzzle for me.
Soon they vanished and I touched the wall,
I felt the vibration of their footsteps.
I am sure they found another World beyond the wall.
I sit and scribble in between the walls
But I cannot see the outside unless I break the wall.
*Oh! Who made this barrier? I thought it's ordinary bricks but much stronger than mud!

Love For Language
Sound denotes the tune
Tune shapes the word
Words sprout of strong feelings
Feelings have no limit, no boundary
But it is clothed by the language
Language endows with the identity
Identity confers recognition
Recognition offers self esteem
To the human beings in the society
Thus everyone has to devote time
and give all out efforts for protection
restoration and growth of one's own language.

Writings On The Wall
The writings on the wall brother
Your life is in your hands
Its up to you to see the writings on the wall.
It looks you in the eye mister
Its time we stand up tall
Go see and understand the writings on the wall.
Strange we hold on to things that have no grace
Or power
While death holds on to us much more with every
Passing hour
And all the time you thought it would last
Your life, your friends would always be
til theyre drunk away or shot away or die away
From you.
Theres nothing that you need sister
The lord is in you all
Life is designed to see the writings on the wall.
The musics in the air mothers
You may have heard it call
To you that you may see the writings on the wall.
Be careful going home sister
Be watchful down that road
Youve got a lot of love sister
More to grow.
The writings on the wall brothers
Your life is in your hands
Its up to you to see the writings on the wall
I hope that you may see the writings on the wall.

A Poem's Language
a poem has it's own language
if a poet uses the glamour of the language
in his poem...the language
would stand out
if a poet shows his versatality over the language
in his poem...the poet
would stand out
the poet and the language should
lose themselves in the poem...for
the poem to speak it's own language

Hearts are like clocks
Hearts work like clocks
Ticking and tocking
Turning and spinning
Hearts work like clocks
Fragile
Gentle
Hearts work like clocks
Some are broken
Some are fixed
Hearts are like clocks
Every one has been broken
Everyone has been fixed
Hearts are like clocks
They are all bonded by something
And
Someone

All Or Nothing
Id bet my soul on a roll of a dice
I hit th ground runnin and I never think twice
Id brave the heat of a wild cat fire
To satisfy my animal desire
Cant stop me now Ive set my sights on you
Right to you heart my aim is true
, yeah, thats why
All or nothing at all
Is how I feel about it
Wont stand my back to the wall
Ill find my way around it
All or nothing at all
Theres nothing I wont do
And the one thing I want all of is you
Dont want to labor at love
Rather do without
Wont carry the torch I want to burn down the house
I wanna give you all my lovin baby listen to this
I would never settle for anything less
Cant stop me now once youve got me goin
Can t slow me down Im driven by your motion
All or nothing at all
Is how I feel about it
Wont stand my back to the wall
Ill find my way around it
All or nothing at all
Theres nothing I wont do
And the one thing I want all of is you

Misty, MYSTIC FEELINGS
Misty, mystic feelings
encompass who I am.
Surround my daily thoughts
that are backed up like a dam,
waiting for water
to rush forth with a gush
that only my emotions
silence with a hush.
'Tis it better not to witness
those things I don't perceive
or open up the floodgates
and hope I do receive
a vision of those feelings
and what they really mean?
Or wonder at the mystery,
the one that can't be seen?

(Do Not) Stand In The Shadows
Hearts which beat to a precise beat
Fading shadows on the wall
We'll cut our cards
Drive out bars
All for one, one for all.
Like teenage heat
And carnival cheats
With your heart on your sleeve
Well you know you wanna run
You won't hide
And you jump like a son of a gun
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Oh alone and lonely
Watching people on my wall
Well Mama and Dadda thought they had me fooled
I was thinking not at all
Well I got out
Not gonna stand
In the dark without a light
Forgetting love if you believe that chance
Sit and wait
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
And now the judge is down feeling
all around yeah
Lifting to a blast this sound
No preachers, teachers
Pick our minds
To the sounds of false alarm
They're here today
And they hear you say
You're alive and you're living with me
So don't try to hide
And don't try to die
In the dark of the night
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
In the shadows, in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows

Buck Nekkid
Two shots shy of a 40 ounce quart
A hand in the pocket and a hand in the shorts
Shoot me with two and don't be slow
Only got one good way to go
Get naked
Buck naked
Buck naked
It's the only way to go
Twenty six chicks, all tied in a knot
Ain't all good, but it's what we got
Get naked
Buck naked
Let me see you naked
It's the only way to go
Buck buck
I was feelin' so fine
And things were lookin' better
My baby said maybe
And I said I'd let her
Get naked
Buck naked
Let's get naked
It's the only way to go
Get naked
Everybody get naked
Buck naked
It's the onliest way to go
Get naked
Get buck naked, yeah
