Speaking Before A Gathering In Marriage
i spoke before a
gathering of the
newlywed
whose faces are
as fresh
as the newest morning
in the village
and this i
emphasized that
for a marriage to work
even when the flickers
of love fade
always resort to
the comfort of having
no expectations
at all
that you cannot change
what you are
and so the only thing
to do
is accept what is there
and not to
question
what we are and
how we become.

That Is All That Matters
I don't have expectations to be loved.
I don't dwell on the reception of it!
I have have it.
I give it.
And it is there to share.
I don't have expectations to be loved.
I do expect to be respected.
I don't accept disrespect at all.
That is one thing,
I don't have.
To give.
And it is not here as a thought either.
I don't have expectations to be loved.
If it is returned as it is given...
That's it.
I have no other preferences,
With requirements.
Nor do I sit,
To question love one bit!
I know it!
And that is all that matters!
With or without,
Someone to share it with.
It will be there...
Inside and recognized!

Marriage & Love
Love spoke to marriage,
“It is I who come first.”
For which marriage replied,
“It is for me you come.”
Arguments arose and words clashed.
Both who were one with another,
Split away and, the result,
No love ended in marriage,
And all marriages broke.
At last, He the Maker spoke,
“Love, you are My happening.
Marriage, you are My new beginning.
Without the other you shan’t survive.”
And then on, they walked hand-in hand.

On Marriage
Pessimistic views: :
Marriage is a gamble!
Marriage is a punishment;
Marriage is an evil that
Most can’t but accept.
Optimistic views:
Marriage is a gift of God;
Marriage is a blessing;
Marriage is an enjoyment,
We make the best of it.
Truths:
Marriage is so wonderful;
Marriage is so fulfilling;
Marriage is so wholesome;
Marriage is an endless love,
More priceless than all wealth!
Marriage is a way of life;
Marriage is so natural;
Marriage is the better way,
For two, to reach Heaven.

Great Expectations
(eric carmen)
Seems everyday
Im gettin harder pressed
To find a reason to shave
Watchin the hours
Just slippin away
No motivation to get out of bed
And carry on the charade
Caught in a dream thats goin astray
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
And just when I think
That things are goin right
I get a call from l.a.
Sorry to say were changin your song
I try to reason
But I cant get through
Theyre gonna do it their way
What can I say
Theyve never been wrong
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
Life is just a game of chance
I think somebody said so
Sometimes you get a hula hoop
Sometimes you get an edsel
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand

Village Green
Out in the country,
Far from all the soot and noise of the city,
Theres a village green.
Its been a long time
Since I last set eyes on the church with the steeple
Down by the village green.
twas there I met a girl called daisy
And kissed her by the old oak tree.
Although I loved my daisy, I saw fame,
And so I left the village green.
I miss the village green,
And all the simple people.
I miss the village green,
The church, the clock, the steeple.
I miss the morning dew, fresh air and sunday school.
And now all the houses
Are rare antiquities.
American tourists flock to see the village green.
They snap their photographs and say gawd darn it,
Isnt it a pretty scene?
And daisys married tom the grocer boy,
And now he owns a grocery.
I miss the village green,
And all the simple people.
I miss the village green,
The church, the clock, the steeple.
I miss the morning dew, fresh air and sunday school.
And I will return there,
And Ill and daisy,
And well sip tea, laugh,
And talk about the village green.
We will laugh and talk about the village green.

Love Or Marriage
I am now over thirty,
Still going on enjoying liberty,
Want to go on enjoying more,
Trying to inform you with a roar,
That am still in love fore sure.
It is my will to keep love awake,
Marriage-the thing
That draws love a break,
Let this thing keep aside,
Love will live though we died.
I don't find any other way,
My heart is in trouble
And mind in sway,
What to do and what not to do,
Like the lawyers for justice sue.
I don't want love bid adue,
After marriage it is hard to redo,
Love supports life
But marriage deports love,
What to do now have become tuff,
If there is love yet after marriage,
Going for marriage would be -
A mater of my encourage.

Drifting In An Out(Revised&Edited Line Form)
I drift in an out.
I scream.
I shout, whats this really about?
My whole life in question.
I feel I should make an confession, even if theirs objections.
I'm not afraid of rejections.
Not like I haven't heard all excuses in the world.
Does this make it so cold?
I feel my age coming in.
But still I stand before you.
Larger then life.
An honest man.
Not a lier.
Not a nobody.
Not a somebody.
Accept me for me, or turn away.
Because night turns into day.
Tears run red.
Hurtful things are said.
Then you lye awake in your bed.
I'm drifting in an out.
I scream.
I shout, what the hell is this really about?
My whole life in question, in question.
Condemn me for who I am.
Brand and label me.
It wont change a thing, other then make me an angry man.
Who feels hes got cut over and over again with a dull razor blade.
In time I'm sure this will fade.
Until then I'm drifting in an out.
I scream.
I shout, what the hell is this really about?
My whole life in question.
So many questions.

Love Is Joy
Love is joy, love is acceptance –
accepting my loved one, in total
acceptance of Rudi, of everything
he does, feels, thinks, I feel joy,
and the most amazing thing is –
he accepts me also! It is beyond
description, how it is possible for
him to accept me as I am? I’ve
been waiting for orders to change,
convinced that sometime I should
become a better person, but Rudi
likes ME, it’s flabbergasting, how
can it be? I thought one should
change to accommodate your
mate, I didn’t know what to change
into, was waiting for directions,
checking expectations – and all
I have received is confirmation,
total acceptance from my loved
one – yet I have read that there
is no such thing as unconditional
love, I’m still waiting for the
conditions to come, I’ll love you
if… and there is none! Love to
me is joy, total acceptance and
joy, singing with the birds,
swimming with the fishes, laughing
with a loved one, loving his warmth,
adoring his smile, seeking explosions
in sensations and bubbling emotions,
I see Rudi as more than human, he
is an Angel to me…

The Familiarity And Monotony Of Love...
we both
accept it: we do not believe
that love has something to
do with it
we decide
always we decide what to do with our life
marriage included,
agreements renewed
vows restated,
on the same table
of monotony
we serve love
we slice love and take the bite
we pour love in our glasses
we drink love
we smoke love
we sigh
we converse love in the middle of the night
we are tired of love
and we sleep love
in that bed of monotony
we wake up filled with love
we have love for breakfast
we go to work carrying love inside our pockets
we were love in our faces
there is always that familiarity
in the routine of love
and with so much love sprayed in our bodies
day and night
we forget its meaning
we take it as potable water
we do not notice if it still satisfies our thirst
if it fills our hunger like the food that we prepare and eat
we declare after so many years together
still intact under the roof of marriage
we wear love we do not notice if we are dressed at all
we sleep and we are so tired
love is here and yet we do not mind it anymore.

Change Can Make A Complete Change!
By changing your thoughts.
You could change your beliefs!
When you change your beliefs..
You could change your expectations!
When you change your expectations..
You could change your attitude!
When you change your attitude..
You could change your behaviour!
When you change your behavior..
You could change your character!
When you change your character...
You could change your entire life!
So Yeah,
Keep working on it!
You'll reach great heights!
I'm wishing you luck!

Fear Of Change
set in your ways, no one wants.
the only thing constant is change. change is the one thing we can count on because change is inevitable. fear of change hinders us as a society.
fear of change makes us imoble and unable to accept change. progression is change.
fear change only when you stop changing. whithout change we cannot go forward.
Keep Pushing
You say it's a sin
How can love be a sin?
She is my life
She is my pride and joy
I love her and she loves me
You say it's wrond
I say it's love
You tell me to change
If i change for you then i'm no longer your baby girl
If i change for you then
I will be lying to my myself
I'm sorry but i can't do that
Yes, i love you
That's not even in the question
You have to accept me and let go
Before you lose me forever
If you keep pushing
I won't be around for long
I try to see where your coming from,
but everytime i do
It doesn't make any sense to me
How can you say that this isn't love?
Daddy, i havne't lost my mind
I found love
I only wish you could be happy for me
I wish you could understand this,
and if you can't
Then i'm sorry, but i must go

Love Is The Price
RAP 1:
BABY'S IN THE PARLOUR
WAITING FOR THE RAIN
BEATING LIKE A HAMMER
WASHING OUT HER PAIN
CLEARING LIKE THE ONE
SEVEN YEARS AGO
WHEN HER FIRST BIG LOVE
MELTED LIKE SNOW
BACK THEN SHE DOUBET
IF SHE WOULD EVER FIND A MAN
WHO COULD LOVE HER THAT WAY
THE SAME WAY AGAIN
AND JUST WHEN SHE THOUGHT
SHE'S LIVING IN VAIN
THE MAN OF HER DREAMS
CAME LIKE THE RAIN
REFRAIN:
WHEN LOVE IS THE PRICE
FREEDOM IS THE COST
LOVE IS THE PRICE
FREEDOM IS THE COST
AND JUST WHEN YOU THINK
EVERYTHING IS LOST
LOVE WILL BE YOUR PRICE
AND I KNOW I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING
YES I KNOW I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING
RAP 2:
THEY SPOKE ABOUT HER DREAMS
THEY SPOKE ABOUT LOVE
THEY SPOKE ABOUT THE THINGS SHE WAS SO AFRAID OF
HE HAD THE KEY-WORD
FOR EVERYTHING SHE FELT
SO IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG
TILL HE GOT HER NAILED
PIN ONE'S HOPE ON SOMEONE ELSES LIFE
AND ALL YOUR DREAMS
WILL HURT YOU LIKE A KNIFE
SHE SOON GOT LOST
WHEN LOVE IS THE PRICE
FREEDOM IS THE COST
REFRAIN:
WHEN LOVE IS THE PRICE
FREEDOM IS THE COST
LOVE IS THE PRICE
FREEDOM IS THE COST
AND JUST WHEN YOU THINK
EVERYTHING IS LOST
LOVE WILL BE YOUR PRIZE
AND I KNOW I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING
YES I KNOW I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING
RAP 3:
SHE DIDN'T TRUST THAT VERY FIRST MAN
TO COME INTO HER LIFE TRYING TO UNDERSTAND
WHAT NOBODY EVER COULD BEFORE
HE ONLY MADE HER SEE
THERE IS SOMETHING MORE
TO LEARN ABOUT FREEDOM
TO LEARN ABOUT LOVE
TO HANDLE ALL THE THINGS SHE WAS SO AFRAID OF
TO ALWAYS FOLLOW WHAT SHE REALLY FELT INSIDE
EVERYTHING ELSE WAS A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE

The Comfort Zone
Where do we go
When theres a need to be loved
Like you need to be loved
Oh, Ill let you know
Just what to do and where to go
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
After a hard days work
Theres one thing to be certain of
This ol familiar love
Its not unusual to find that its sensual
Its all you need to let go
Theres no need to try
Or compromise
Or settle for another outside of my love
The thing to do
When you get through
Heed the message seek the comfort of my zone
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
Hey let me make you comfortable
Let me take control
And give your mind a break from the day you made
Lets turn the lights down low
And oh the rest you know
Ill be here for you
cause you just stepped into the comfort zone

Marriage
Marriage comes when two people love each other unconditional,
And want to become one.
Some people say marriage is only between a man and a women,
That's not true.
If you love someone sp much and you would lay your life down for them,
And be totally committed to them.
That should be enough,
People are afraid to accept that not everyone is like them.
When people hear the topic of same-sex marriage.
They automactically say, 'It's wrong, Marriage is between Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve! '
I bet that if I were to tell them that they can't get married they're straight.
They would start shouting and protesting!
Well what's the difference?
So what if I'm a lesbian?
Why should people be concerned about who I want to marry?
Doesn't that suppose to only concern me?
You might say you don't care that I want to get married to a women.
But deep dpwn your screaming DYKE! ! !
People like you need to be taught a lesson!
You're just a hypocrite, and that's all you'll ever be
You can never accept me for who I am.
Cause you're ashamed of me!
Well I'm going to be myself.
Even if it kills you!
I have denied who I am for years, but I can't any longer!
Now that I have accepted who I am, so should you!
Marriage is between the person you love and want to be with for the rest of you life! !

I just wanna build momentum again. Keeping yourself in work is one thing, keeping yourself in good work's another. But if it doesn't work out, so be it. As the Taoists say, Learn to accept that which you cannot change.
A Poet’s Thought
TELL me, what is a poet’s thought?
Is it on the sudden born?
Is it from the starlight caught?
Is it by the tempest taught,
Or by whispering morn?
Was it cradled in the brain?
Chain’d awhile, or nurs’d in night?
Was it wrought with toil and pain?
Did it bloom and fade again,
Ere it burst to light?
No more question of its birth:
Rather love its better part!
’T is a thing of sky and earth,
Gathering all its golden worth
From the Poet’s heart.

It is a fact that all women contribute more to marriage than men; for the most part they have to change their place of living, their method of work, a great many women today changing their occupation entirely on marriage; and they must even change their name.

Tear It Down
We find out the heart only by dismantling what
the heart knows. By redefining the morning,
we find a morning that comes just after darkness.
We can break through marriage into marriage.
By insisting on love we spoil it, get beyond
affection and wade mouth-deep into love.
We must unlearn the constellations to see the stars.
But going back toward childhood will not help.
The village is not better than Pittsburgh.
Only Pittsburgh is more than Pittsburgh.
Rome is better than Rome in the same way the sound
of raccoon tongues licking the inside walls
of the garbage tub is more than the stir
of them in the muck of the garbage. Love is not
enough. We die and are put into the earth forever.
We should insist while there is still time. We must
eat through the wildness of her sweet body already
in our bed to reach the body within that body.
