On a perfect day

You begin it with a morning walk
Moments of reflection on God’s
Wonders, his creations, an
Early fresh air brushing your hair
Some dews on grass glistening
Some scents on early flower blooms exuding
Some new leaves on the tall trees sprouting

In a while you see the break of dawn
The sun finally breaking out gently
From the crevices of clouds on a wide horizon

Seeing a new light,

Then breakfast with the family
Some prayers to bless simple food
Early morning news, a little talk,
Some crack for jokes,

Then
It is office time
You work, you make judgments
On people’s grievances, they want
Something from you
To be done, swiftly and rightly,
They are thirsty and hungry,
And you have to feed them
Right away, you always think what is
It that is best for all and must
Be done, no matter what,

Then you go back to your home,
You sit on a chair facing yourself
On a mirror for some reflections,
You smile, you are proud, you did
Not yield to the wiles of this world,
You have asserted yourself on some
Principles to no compromises,

You look again at another closing sunset,

Seeing a new promising light,

Then you pray and sleep soundly
Another day has ended again,
Your head rests on a soft pillow
Feeling light like being reborn

Your conscience is clear
There is no stain in your hands
An unblemished heart
Beating for God for humanity

Day and night

How do we define day and night?
Difference is like wrong and right
Not a one can be termed avoidable?
Each part is important and commendable?

Early morning and evening has it sown importance?
So many people might have not observed it even at once?
We only witness it as time lag for beginning or an end
We decline from the outset and have no favorable trend

We give full marks for the rising sun
Set our timings and start to run
It starts with opening up of day’s schedule
Man works like machine by injecting the fuel

It is done only by keeping the aspirations high
He has strong resolve to attain something and fly
Nothing comes on his way for fulfilling the aim
The days prove to be crucial fir legitimate claim

Each day brings him high hope and despair
Sometimes programme fail to take off and flop in air
Yet it did not discourage a dedicated person
He has every opportunity open with solid reasons

It has something to do with real life and accompany
Something to dream of and find nice company
A smooth and lovely path after day’s hard work
Something to remember and something to flirt

He has no spar time for morning breeze
Yet he can’t ignore or completely freeze
He has passion along with true devotion
To pass of the time peacefully with all the emotions

Gliding In The Air

A bird is wrestling the wind with its feathers,
Even then the flight is smooth, as smooth as the air.

Best of the eagles are against the flight of others,
Eventually they look like a mouth, as smooth as the air.

A strange spectacle has been captured in the rain,
After a bird, not reptile, does fly south, as smooth as the air.

When strangers bespeak a multifarious journey through the air,
I gather it is more than just levitation or youth, as smooth as the air.

I love the young journey to the east,
A happy rhythm up north, as smooth as the air.

Why do we hesitate to look powerful?

Tyring To Be Smooth In Speech

this morning i read
some notes
about myself and i notice how i tried to be
smooth
in my speech as my notes still want to insist

ethical considerations
the motif of my day, the struggle to be always
calm and cool
the war against the tendency
to hurt another without our conscious knowing
but
all seems to be
a kind of futile attempt to be kind
and gentle
like a dog wagging its tail when you meet
along the doorsteps
of your house

i open some pages again of my
diary
or journal of the day
on a cup of tea
and two pieces of cookies

at first the language flows like a river
clear and
i even tasted a cup of its water
smooth to my
esophagus
and cool to my gum and i think
sweet, even sweet to my tongue
and i can feel
it flowing again smoothly
to my intestines

and then here i am finally
vomiting

i suppose nostalgia
is nothing but
nausea, the speech of loneliness
about a memory
long gone and very far away
the words are smooth
and then
somehow they kill

i close the journal at once
i open the window
let the air come in

as i wait for the morning sun
to shine and then
warm me a bit

Waking

WAKING

There are so many dreams no one ever realizes
We wake and try to understand where we are
What we have done in all the years seems folly
Nothing can justify this morning or the day to come
We have forgotten who we are and where we have been
The prayer that helps us and connects us back to God
Revives
We begin to live or try to begin to live
Our names are not known and our work uncelebrated
Our songs are not sung and our labors not blessed
We look out and up at the sky and feel light
We do not know how or why or in what way
But we understand that God has given mornings to begin again
We will take the first step and word and taste and sound
And all we feel and be will begin to revive
We will connect ourselves again with where we are
We will begin to work
And as the day slowly comes back to us we will come back to ourselves
Every day is a new beginning and a world G-d will make
We too are that world and that beginning
In all the many days of blessings and the years of this life
God has enabled us to begin again
This time now too is now different
And these words say we are here now for this morning
So long as this morning is in us.

An Encounter...

in that encounter
the day becomes a mirror
as i begin to see every part of you in me.
the same eyes
longing for the outside game
the same feet wanting to walk all the edges of this earth
you are asking questions
that need the answers to the same questions over and over again
i play this game too
and even though i am bored i make you feel that this is interesting
i talk to fill the missing words in your mouth
and you listen
hoping to find inside me what you have been looking for

Is somebody waiting for me?

She took this picture

Did she take it for me?

Her smile insists, just to tell her was she waiting me?

A view of spring turning into summer (hybridanelle)

From the time that the first sunlight hit me
I was surrounded by heat like a cocoon
and I saw the clear blue sky and felt free

while the early morning breeze
kissed my cheek
with an early morning freeze

and there were clouds escaping from my mouth that I could see
evaporating like steam or gas from a balloon.
From the time that the first sun light hit me

some dust tickling my nose made me sneeze
and glorious bright rays
kissed my cheek,

buds opened on every plant and tree,
ants marched to and fro like in a platoon
and I saw the clear blue sky and felt free

and I was experiencing days
of spring leading into summer
and glorious bright rays

and nature’s decree
summoning new seasons, made me feel like a tycoon
from the time that the first sunlight hit me

and the wind like a drummer
sweeping through sand, leaves and branches whistling its song
