Please Do Not Be Disappointed With My Poetry

in the first place i do not really rhyme
not that i can't but i don't because i like it to be just that

like my life, i do not really rhyme with the world
there is more conflict
than harmony, i do not jibe and jam well with

yes, anybody, it simply takes time for them to really understand me
more more time for me too to understand them
and like them
and like me, as though living life is just a matter of liking each other

period, and not really trying to learn and be compassionate
and have this little sense of tolerance
this sense
of perhaps, he is just ekking his way to a steep mountain of his
trying hard
(copycat) of just trying to live in authenticity

honesty, that is the simplest word we can say
i always think of other things
sometimes people are just cruel
they want patterns they want people to be like other people
setting models
and trails made also by men and women with the usual human brains

poor judgments come and we do not bother we simply want others to
live normal lives
nothing deviant, shy away from the genius of ingenuity
trekking new paths
not minding the dangers of the unknown spreading like a red carpet
before our feet

back to poetry, this is my poetry and by now you have noticed
they are written as they come inside my mind
no patterns no molds no shape no expectations no
AA BB CC DD

just plain talk, spontaneous, like a tear falling from your eyes
shaping itself to pain and then falling without style

like a candle melting to the fire and shaping itself
in the air
there is simply no dictation of where and how and what

like ourselves our lives like chocolates in the box
of Forest Gump
we just don't know what we really get
we just let go
and let live and then die and be buried
tears for a while, and then

yes, forever forgotten.

If You Look For A Rhyme, So Sorry I Don't Have It

i don't jam and i don't rhyme
my life does not rhyme
and some parts simply
do not fit
until now
like a dovetail
of wooden pieces
to make
your chair

so sorry but i don't have
rhyme

it is the truth
it is the truth of this world

some things do not fit
some people do not just fit

square pegs in a round hole
square lives in a round dimension

it is the truth of this world
fingers in the hands
toes in your feet
look at them as a family of your
unique body

i like to rhyme i like to jibe with you
and sing the harmony of
our song

the truth is
there isn't

and so my dear, let us look at each other's eyes
again

can you do it without blinking?

When I Talk And Think About Albert

sometimes
(did i tell you that this is my
favorite word?)

i am shocked by my own
ingenuity
(sometimes i equate it with
shallowness
a loquacious mouth of the river
falling upon
a rock and smashing its
hands on the
floor of the
earth)

i blame myself for
changing the meaning of a word
like the way
i am changing the meaning of
my life

(or perhaps the lives of
other people
around me)

creating landscapes
putting trees where there are
no mountain
putting talkative women
in the house where
the house is still a
thought

(a student wants to say
i am crazy
but there is also a doubt
whether i am
one
she has the wisdom of
keeping her
mouth in the silent
mode)

i am not stupid
not crazy i still know what right
is,
i can still tell you
who are those in the left
side of the
equation

one day
i redefined a poem
it need not be a house
with a door and
windows

i can simply be stairs
or path
it can simply be a star
on the roof

it can simply be a conversation
without a direction
like a Freudian dialogue on
the sofa
where comfort is actually
moving the paths
of meteors
with a broom and
light

(do you always talk
to achieve
fulfill a mission?
what is your mission?
what is your
purpose?)

women go to the market
buy some things
for the kitchen
they do not linger upon a
talk

men go to their work
thinking about their kids
most of the time
they do not bother about
work really
they also dwell in the bodies
of other women
about those nights away
from the eyes
of their wives

people have scattered minds
unto each other
they pretend that they are devoted
into something
worthwhile

kids go to school
carrying bags filled with books
that they do not bother really reading
if they have to be honest
about who they are
the only care for the games of their
minds in those
playgrounds and
play stations

what kind of world is this
there are only so few
that live
so many people are going to
the places of death
without really knowing
each step

the famous man (you know his name)
discovered the bomb
and from then own
they own all these countries of this world

he is the real meaning and so they claim
him to be
the only meaning of this world
a nuclear god
who cannot die in that history of pain
and misery

may his soul (if he has one)
rest in peace.

After All Hymn

After all I am human
And I get mad sometimes
Sometimes it is hard for me to think of something else in
Order to get rid of my anger
But I think I have to replace it with poetry
Poetry is my life
And I live writing poetry
Is poetry just a scribbling that doesn't make sense?
No
Poetry are feelings that are wrtten on a piece of paper or in the computer Scream
Poetry makes sense because every word I carefully select
And there are other words that might pop out of my mind
That I connect with the words in my heart
Do I use strong words in my poetry?
Yes I use strong words
Do I offend my readers with the words I pick?
That Is something that I try not to do
AAafter all
I am human and I do make mistakes
But after I make mistakes I try to move to the next step so I never get Stuck with my mistake
Yes poetry is my voice that is a message that I am trying hard to give to My readers
There are so many different styles of poetry
Haiku, rhiming, and free style
But I always stick with the free style of poetry
I find that it is the style that sooths me just fine
After all
I try very hard to live a modest life that is very plain and simple
From the one I lived 16 years ago
What is wrong to live a life of luxury to me?
First I need to have the money to live a luxurious life
The second part is that I don't want anything to do with a luxurious life
Because I am happy living my simple life
And I hope to live that simple life forever
I want to have dreams only and I don't wish them to turn into reality in My Life
Because I know that my dreams will be dreams
No I can't sell my dreams
Because my dreams are only fantasies that I face every night when I sleep In my bed
And after all I will always be human

Seeing You Dying, Hurts

Ever wonder, just a ponder
what life would be like
if we were told we had little to live
tears and fears, mind blowing
what to do, no time to go
the anger, the pain, the stress
how long to go, no one knows
could be fast, maybe slow and last
forever we want to live
we pray for long life and healthiness
why do we get picked, not our choice
people been there some survive.others don't
thinking where life should go
quit the job, see the world
sit and moan, don't frown
get on your feet live it well
happiness extents life
be free and enjoy those days
number as they are
limited as you go, be with the ones who care
for they will suffer the most
living without you
give them memories to share
do not spare, they do care
pictures and stories last forever
good and bad, tears and laughter will fall
missing you will be so hard
been together for all your life
the world will be so lost
without you there
have to find away to go on
it's not the same, things will change
lives will go on
never let go, you been told
it's so hard to let you go
time so cruel, it's running out
please forgive me if I cry
your a big part of our lives
stay around and have some fun
life is grand and so are you
give it all, don't let time end
love makes time, time makes life
I will smile till the end
cry to myself, show no pain
the hurt so hidden
makes me think
why not me, why you

Change From The Inside Out

The more that some Christians change, the more they remain the same,
For many people who claim to be saved, are only Christians in name.

Christianity is not simply a religion for man to deal with strife,
But it's God personally reaching down to man to offer him new life.

Change in one's life is not simply an option for each Child of God,
For we were commanded to leave behind the path we once had trod.

Although we live in the world, we're not to be of the world we're in,
For God's desire for us would be hindered if we get entangled in sin.

Christians are sealed by The Holy Spirit until the day of redemption,
You are then set apart for the work of The Lord, with no Exemption.

Our lives belong to God, as He purchased us with the blood of Christ,
Christ is where we place our trust, as we become a living sacrifice.

And it's to the patterns of this world we are not to be conformed,
Instead it's through the Word that renews, we are to be transformed.

For all in Christ, the old passes away as we become a New Creation,
And God, who has reconciled us, give us a ministry of reconciliation.

So our lives should now be used to reach others with God's Salvation,
It should be our compassion to reach every tribe, tongue and nation.

So today is the day to let The Lord inside and really make a change,
And just like John the Baptist my friend, you will never be the same.

The Moderns

To many reading modern poetry more interesting the meaning in the metaphors they seek to find
They feel it makes their brains work that much harder that it is good exercise for the mind
Rhyme for their great brains seems that bit too simple it does not test their thinking power at all
'Tis not a poem to them if it seems simple and the meaning in it easy to recall,
Yes rhyme for them it does seem that bit simple and deciphering it to them is not a test
The hidden meaning in the metaphors is something that does seem to try them best
Rhyme poetry to them is too simple and far too easy for to understand
It has to be blank verse with dozens of metaphors for their interest for to command
They look on rhyme and bush poets as inferior their preference in poets and poetry they make known
On literature they air their opinions like it is said to each their own
Their poetry evenings do seem quite exclusive rhyme poets to read they never do invite
Their unmusical lines that are laced with metaphors to each other they do recite
They do not like rhyme or they do not like bush poetry to them it is of another time
And in their poetry evenings there is no place for the men and the women of rhyme.

Caring daring writing makes more sense...

For some its simply stated
for some the truth is abated
by rhyme and the language of the rose
such people prefer prose
for those
who are different who appreciate the art of poetry
are the ones who understand this
if you are the latter make sure you dont miss
your chance reading one thing has changed me
my life given up willingly
and now what comes out
surely not the same boy hurt and the one who has begun to pout
simply from the pain
all of this in vain
nay i say i say that this is something this is the reason
to not take my cross and follow thats treason
i wont just sit here and wait
having faith and doing nothing thats something i hate
its time to save
and even if it is all for naught
maybe just being a little too brave
but i repeat all for naught.... what has become of my life my purpose am i caught
i honestly think that if nothing comes of this no one gets saved
then at least i helped someone in my life
touched a life
even one rife
with pain
maybe one like mine just on the edge about to wain
i know i've done something
to the two i've hopefully left my mark
I say its time to let shine
dont keep it to yourself and say its mine
lets go out into the world dont take my word for it
i Challenge my two friends Savannah and Dillan be truth seekers.....
Find it, whoever loses his life he shall find it
Does that mean i have to die?
actually yes i must die to my flesh
is that painful..... hardly i have a certain joy no one can take
if this has changed you or moved you dont tell me unless you must
for my sake
thank God if these are simply my words may you tell me and may i grieve.

There are no patterns that lasts a lifetime. Some people can't stand the floating boarders. They decide on one life philosophy and live thereafter. But I've decided not to decide. I don't know everything. I don't understand everything. Both my own and others reactions are often a mystery to me. I let it be that way, hoping that maybe, instead, I can learn to understand the pattern of no patterns.

The court of gentlemen

Some people had forgotten their dreams
Buried it into oblivion deep within
Some people killed their lives
Keep it silence let their wisdom fly
Some people live life’s a destiny
Build name and ride in fame
with obscurity in them’
Some people let go of their spirit of vitality
And chose to live life of’ miserably;

How many of these people cannot find
The reason of loving without leaving
their self-dying
And what else they can do
so much for cry and end up to sigh,
How many of these people who watch the sky
but cannot find nor see the heavens
And what else they can pray
knee after knee on plea but only to die,
How many of these people live justly
but cannot find life’s beauty only cruelty
And what else they can hope for
after the long day of labor for prosperity

Some people will ask the same question
But cannot find the same answer
Some people will not bother for this inquiry
But cannot put aside the pain of reality
Some people may find time and reflect ‘bout it
But still cannot grasp what life has to say

To Live & Die In L. A.

(jack hues)
In the heat of the day
Every time you go away
I have to piece my life together
Every time youre away
In the heat of the day
In the dark of the night
Every time I turn the light
I feel that God is not in heaven
In the dark of the night
The dark of the night
I wonder why I live alone here
I wonder why we spend these nights together
Is this the room Ill live my life forever
I wonder why in la
To live and die in la
I wonder why we waste our lives here
When we could run away to paradise
But I am held in some invisible vice
And I cant get away
To live and die in la
If I let myself go
And for where I just dont know
Id maybe hit some cold new river
That led out to the sea
An unknown sea
Id either swim or Id drown
Or just keep falling down and down
I think its that, that makes me quiver
Just to keep falling down
Down, down, down
I wonder why I live alone here
I wonder why we spend these nights together
Is this the way Ill live my life forever
I wonder why in la
To live and die in la
In every word that you say
I feel my freedom slip away
I feel the bars come down around me
And I cant get away
I cant get away
I wonder why I live alone here
I wonder why we spend these nights together
Is this the room Ill live my life forever
I wonder why in la
To live and die in la
I wonder why we waste our lives here
When we could run away to paradise
But I am held in some invisible vice
And I cant get away
To live and die in la

Live In Peace and Harmony

I once was asked
Is there peace
In this world

I wish I could say
Yes there is peace
In this life

But the war's
Are to many
People die
Every day

What can we do?
To stop death in its wake

Why must men
Take a human life

Why must men
Fight for their lives

In wars that are senseless
Ignoring the frailty of life

Teardrops are falling
At all the lost souls

Will humanity ever see?
This world
Live in Peace and Harmony

All I can do is cry
All I can do is pray

That we all live to see
Peace and Harmony in our lives

Every Living Thing Barring Mother Nature

They may be very famous people and leave their footprints in the sands of time
And their legends may live on for centuries and even outlive the poet's rhyme
But their fame won't live on forever though them the masses celebrate
For every living thing barring Mother Nature has on it set a time date.

Every living thing barring Mother Nature will eventually go into decay
And even from history's pages be lost and forgotten one day
Suppose that's what makes all things equal and whether we are buried or burn
Mother Nature is there to receive us and to her bosom we'll return.

All of my best years behind me and I've lived most of my time span
Less than two years short of sixty soon I will be an old man
Every day nearer the last day that is the end for us all
To us then it will not matter if the living our names won't recall.

Every living thing barring Mother Nature must bow to old father time
And though the achievements of some great people may outlive the great poet's rhyme
Their fame has on it a time date it has often been said before
That only herself Mother Nature will live on forever more.

It's All A Poetry In Motion

Who is that complaining 'bout what is right?
And...
Who is that justifying how to live a life?
It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live as they wish.
And do it as they should.

Who is that complaining 'bout what is right?
And...
Who is that justifying how to live a life,
One wants and chooses.
No matter who critiques,
With a wishing to approve.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live a life they wish.
And do it as they choose.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
To let live.
And live to let live.
And lives,
To let live.
No matter how that is.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live,
As they wish.
With a wanting as they should.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live.

My Life Experience

The more I live the more I am surprised.
There are still a lot of things to be realized.

The life flows like a river on the land,
The more I know the less I understand.

The more I give the less I get,
But my life style is: Never regret!

The time flies, it will never come back,
But the hopes still live with no lack.

Some people say: The less you know-the better.
But I think it’s not a laughing matter.

If you don’t know how to live now,
Don’t lose your courage!
In the best of my knowledge,
Speak out loud
And I am sure you’ll find the way out.
And I am sure you’ll be understood
As there are so many people
And most of them are so good.

This Early Morning

this early morning
we are talking about
something

somehow you are the curious kitten
coming near my bed
wanting a little warmth
from my hands

and i perfectly understand this need
on the cold days
of our lives

a nice morning conversation perhaps
something not hot
just warm to rub some sparks in our thoughts

i begin to talk about some treasures
i keep inside my heart
how often i open my trunk
and simply glance at them

they are more than diamonds and gold
and certificates of some
deposits

for they glitter not in my eyes
but in my soul
they make me see clearly the meaning of my life

i become young again
i can even fly to distant lands where some of my memories
are buried

all these make me live and live life the way it must be lived
always giving and not taking
something somewhere

oh! you will never know but soon you will understand and see
when you close your eyes in the darkness
and remember too the treasures of your heart

Dusk and Dying

Dusk purple trees reach out high,
Gently brushing the Cotton Candy sky,
The nostalgic horizon passes by
And time races toward the time to die.
And I cannot help but wonder “But Why”?
Time is simply passing by, passing by,
Passing by….
But does it pause for me? Not I.
For me time simply passes by,
Like these leaves that patch this somber sky,
Time simply passes by
Like these leaves that have dried,
Skipping over the concrete, so spry.
“Simply live and let live! ” I try,
But life and living keep passing me by.
So, as my verse so aptly implies,
Whether I live, or whether I die,
I simply bid you fond goodbyes,
Like the sun as it sinks ‘low the cotton candy skies…

Ballad Of Langston Hughes

Great man of your time,
poet of verse and poet of rhyme
you let the white man know
how easy it is to let go
the built up resentment and woe
that's inflicted on skin darker than snow.

All you did was pick up the pen.
All you did over and again
was to relate to the entire world through word
all that needed to be heard.
Radical political action proposed in poetry
was an affront to the white man's psyche.

Your words were written for all to understand.
You words were written to take command
of the ones who heard them
spit out like phlegm.
But always your hope for equality
was written in your poetry.

Great seer and seeker your words still live,
live in the hearts of the forgotten ones
who still feel the frustrating horizons
that loom in the future.
And to those who've come a long way today
your challenge to them is to have their say.

Are You Ready For The End?

I ask, are you ready my dear friend, are you ready for the end?
For The Holy Bible is very clear, that the end of time is near.
The love of most will grow cold; this is what the Apostles were told.
Many in the end are deceived, even though they said they believed.

For many will fall from the Truth, and sadly live lives of ill repute.
Take The Lord's undeserved Grace, they have treated it with disgrace.
They spend their time in wicked fun, grieving The Spirit and The Son.
So they turn God's Graciousness, into a life of immoral wickedness.

Having no change of heart within, they truly don't understand sin.
Having only a natural birth, they are only mindful of things on earth.
Unwisely following men's rules, living their lives like utter fools.
Having no fear of God in their heart, Wisdom for them had no start.

The Lord is given no place to reign; so much of His Word seems insane.
When they hear of God's warning, they become filled with scorning.
But they continue to insist very boldly, that they live pure and holy.
They live in arrogance and pride, for this is what they have inside.

Their need is to be Born Again, to fully understand their wicked sin.
There is One in whom they can be sure, this of course is The Lord.
But with no change in their heart, He will tell them to simply depart.
So look around and see my friend, are you truly ready for the end?

Angel of the Sky

Some people don't know you like I do
Some people don't trust you like I do
Some people would rather choose a fool,
because they don't know you like I do

As a result, people fear the night,
the dangerous creatures that lurk within.
They bring their hopes completely down,
until surrender is hard to resist.

In contrast, I do love the night
There's awesome creatures that may exist,
during the times when I go out.
That's when I know that they do live

So I do not fear the night,
because there's miracles waiting outside,
once I look at the beautiful sky,
because lying in that beautiful sky,
is the angel of the sky, the hero in our lives.

The angel of the sky
The hero in our lives

And I don't fear the time;
there's lots of time for all to pass-by.
Once you look at the gorgeous sky,
pray to God to give you light.
You will see that there is time.

He is the light of all our lives,
The inspiration of my entire life,
The buried treasure that I find,
and what I'll live for till I die.

In the sky lies the angel of the sky,
my hero, my God, and my entire life.
My darkness is lighted by his light
He makes my life a better life

The angel of the sky
The hero in our lives

But some people don't know you like I do
Others don't trust you the way I do
Some would choose a fool rather than you,
because they don't know you like I do.

They don't know the wonders of the sky
They don't know the meaning of this life
Or the times it takes from having to try,
to finally achieve something in this life.

It's hard to describe this art of life
It's hard to describe all of my difficult times,
because once in my life the light did die;
it wasn't easy to restore the light.

The light was dying and I fell behind
Hope I tried finding but I didn't know you
The light was dying and so was I
But hope I tried finding till I found you

So when I stare at the night, and the stars in the sky
A signal uncovered I try to find
One that leads my life back into your light,
to live in harmony all the time.

I am not scared of the taunting dark
Miracles await to eventually spark
For the very first time, if you just look at the sky,
because lying in the sky is the hero of my life

He's the sun that brings us immense light,
the love that always glides my life,
the strength that helps me win a fight.
He's what I'll live for till I die

In the sky lies the angel of the sky,
my hero, my God, and my entire life.
Looking at the sky brings me peace inside
I smile at knowing his presence lies in my life.

The angel of the sky
The hero in our lives

Some people don't know you like I do
Others don't trust you the way I do
Some people will never trust you like I do
They do not know the wonderful things that you can do,
by being the angel of the sky,
the hero in my life.

The hero in my life

The hero in my life
The angel of the sky
The hero in my life
