Our Limited Nature

our limited nature is obvious
our hands only wish for the sky
they cannot touch them short of length as they are
and so our eyes too
they cannot pierce what is behind the mist and the frost
just like our feet
that stamp only some footprints on the grass
and leave some anger behind a path
our hearts can only love what they see
our skin for what it feels

i wish to tell you
that we can go somewhere in the world of imagination
even enter the doors of fantasy
where all our senses ride on the wings of infinity
there are no limits there is no time
too much bliss that we soon forget
about us.

Knowing Your Perimeters

knowing your perimeters is not an easy job,
not really expensive, but it takes the mind of the pensive man,
the wiles of the wise and the wit of the wounded

who am i? where am I? what am i?
where am i heeded? where i will stop?
what can i do? what i cannot do?

knowing the length of your arms and feet
the distance of your vision
and knowing what you can touch and
see, and knowing what you cannot
even touch and see no matter how
wide you open your eyes

knowing your place, your fences, the limits
of your garden, the source of your water,
your air, your food, the quiet imagination

knowing what you can give and you can hold,
knowing what you can let go
and what you must keep in your heart forever

knowing the limits of your mind
the stretch of your hands, the number of times that
you can blink your eye,
the right time to fear and the right time to kill
the right time to love and the right time to hate
or just be the foolish man who is so indifferent

i know my limits and i mark my boundaries.
please do not go any further. i am just staying
within the bounds of my hands and feet.
i am seeing you and i am warning you.

i have this detonator. My finger is ready.

Feigned

inside that room
the item is displayed
in full
and you shall see the
perfect form that
you dream of

i will not describe the
lines and the curves
this is private

you are free now to explore
the terrains of the
human body

your hands are firm
you perspire in the middle of
the coldness

you are preoccupied with
yourself on the
limited time
life is....limited
time is money

the other one is obliged
the contract is clear
the hands mimic the touch of love
the lips plays the music
the body sways into a dance

the approximation is too short
love does not exist
no words come out
the eyes close imagining another
world out there
the heart bleeds
you do not see blood
you are too preoccupied with
what you shall get

well, time is up
upon a profuse perspiration
the heart is calm
that lovely storm is over now

you go separate ways
trying to forget.

My eyes see the coming revolution
My eyes see the glory of the world
My eyes see the coming revolution
My eyes see the glory of the world
My eyes see the coming revolution
My eyes see the glory of the world
My eyes see the coming revolution
My eyes see the glory of the world
(only when you stop to listen)
Looking for the mystery in the woman
(only when you start to see) [stop to see]
Dancing with the teacher in the circle
(only when you watching for them) [... you want direction]
Watching for the reasons we are going
(only when you stop to listen)
Getting ready for the big bang
Everybody looking for that great connection
Somebody help me find that universal dream
Everybody watching
Is something happning? [theres something happening]
See what I mean?
(only when you stop to listen)
Looking for the real man
(only when you stop to breath)
Looking for the teacher
(dancing with the majesty of knowing)
Dancing with the circle
(only when you start to see) [...you stop to see]
Looking for the real world
Everybody knows where were going to
Dont forget to leave good footprints behind
Never let the grass grow over your soul
Only time will tell
Leave good footprints behind
I can see the way [i have seen the way]
The way is clear
To save your love
High upon the sky
The forces come [the force has come]
To break me free [to break you free]
Forgiving is what you have
Forgiving is what you see
Forgiving is what you know
Forgiving is all you are
I have seen the way

You Came To My Senses

I picture you on the beach
Lying in the sand
Out of reach of my trembling hands
I picture you in a car
Blonde hair in the wind
I picture you in my arms
And the touch of your skin
The smile on your face
The way that you taste
(chorus)
You come to my senses
Every time I close my eyes
I have no defenses
You come to my senses
I cant stop this ache inside
I have no defenses
You come to my senses
Driving home in the cold
January rain
Ive got to find my way out of this pain
I reached for you in the night
I dreamed of your kiss
I woke before it got light
With your name on my lips
Alone in my bed
Your voice in my head
(chorus)
I picture you in my arms
And the touch of your skin
The smile on your face
The way that you taste
You come to my senses
Every time I close my eyes
I have no defenses

Life's Too Short To Love This Fast

You say hello, I say goodbye
You go your way and I go mine
There's not much time for you and I these days
We work too hard, we're gone too much
And we're too tired to even touch
So just how long can we go on this way
Oh, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Let's take some time, let's get away
Let's pack our bags and leave today
Girl, anyplace would be okay right now
Just leave your pager here at home
And I won't carry my cell phone
We need to find some time alone somehow
Yeah, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
--- Instrumental ---
We're spinnin' our wheels
Forgetting how love feels
Let's slow down before it's too late
'Cause life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Love this fast
Life's too short...

Youth To Elder

The years are catching up to us
Our minds seem to be losing touch
No longer do we see or feel
What is fake and what is real.

They say humanity has five senses
Which I tend to disagree
Seeing, smelling, hearing, taste and touch.

But those are just the outer senses of which they speak
What about the inner senses which control you and me.

Love, compassion, fear, hate
Just a few which they forgot to rate.
The list has become so long
That in a book it doesn't belong.

Sadness, joy, anger, frustration
It's not even enough for our imagination.
All these things with age we've come to know
And in our souls it began to grow.

The soul is the only thing that we can not lose
And given a choice- this I'll choose
For when it's time for us to go to the other side
Everything else is left behind.

The soul is like a treasure chest
It holds all the wealth that you've created
Of all the feelings known to man
So when you get to GODS kingdom
You'll understand.
It becomes like a video that you can see
Of your every step and memory
So Alzheimer's and dementia stand aside
You ‘re in for a long, long ride.

Just Want To Know

They never seen me coming.
No not today and not tomorrow.
Capturing hearts and minds.
Holding them in blue translucent glass jar.
A reserve for when I really need it.

Fighting till I got nothing left.
Which is never.
An Aries in and out.
And this gemstone glows.

Fire of the tides.
They continuously burn.

Anger motivates.
Anger can devastate.
It just a matter of control.
What to do with all this magical energy.
Who can I can help upon my shoulders.
Let me lift you up and see the world.

A free ride to be frozen.
A mere clipping of time.
It's all that is ever on my mind.
No need to rewind.
Just push play.
Well continue where we left off.
Which wasn't so bad.

So bad, so bad, so bad, so bad.

So bad, so bad, so bad, so bad.

Do you still remember that park we went to?
The one with the exotic fish and the giant turtles.
Or about that trip on the beach.
Collecting seashells.
Listen closely and you can still hear the ocean waves crash against the sandy beach.

Its all we ever had.
A time when love is never enough.
A catalyst to the ongoing storm.
In silence reason and motives do sleep.
We must wake them back up.

I still can feel you skin up upon mine.
Silky smooth, with the gentlest touch.
I can still see your expression.
When you were mad at me.
And I loved it, just as much as I loved you.

It didn't matter as long as we were together.
I had more reasons, then you can count.
Settling down upon the mountain.
It is the place till this day I still call home.
You couldn't be with me, take the risk I'd did.
And I forgive you for that.
I did that a long time ago.

Winters cold and summers humid.
Laying in the grass starring upon the sky.
Watching the flames passing me on by.
I wish only to grab them for one moment.
So I can know what no one else does.

Will I ever see her again?
Does she now even remember who I am?
The broken and blind.
I'm still not over you I guess.
And I don't think I ever will.

I just want to know is this the same way she still feels?
The same way she still feels?

Never Forget

I'll never forget
the way you touched me
you forced your hands
across my spine
I'll never forget
the way you told me
the blame would always be mine
I'll never forget
the way your hands felt
too big...
too nasty...
way too strong
I'll never forget
the way you promised
what you did
was never wrong
I'll never forget
those sleepless nights
I'd try not to fall asleep
cuz the moment
I opened my eyes
I wondered what you were doing to me
I'll never forget
the lies you made
the threats so I wouldn't tell
the nights everyone was asleep
& I was in the mist of hell
I'll never forget
the force you had
forcing me to touch you back
the child hood
you robbed from me
& I can never have it back
I'll never forget
the fear I had
every time you were near me
I'll never forget
those Fxckn prayers
but God could never hear me
I'll never forget
everything I lost
you destroyed the kid in me
I'll never forget
just can't forget
exactly what daddy did to me

In The Footprints of My Mother

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall step to you.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall stay innocent and true.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall not give up hope.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall give you my love note.

In the footprints of my mother,

Lead me to a better path.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall releive in her wrath.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall cure all of your pains.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall bring you great reigns.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall unleash the angels of truth.

In the footprints of my mother,

I shall defeat the evils booth.

The footprints of my mother,

led me straight to you.

The footprints of my mother,

Shown me I have nothing left to loose.

The footprints of my mother,

Guieded me towards the compelling lights.

The footprints of my mother,

Guided me towards the love of my life.

To Them I'm Crazy

I’m a crazy woman. To them I’m crazy. Obsessed with my anger. They think it chokes me in my sleep, it oozes as I walk, leaving a trail of disgust in my path. But this anger is who I am. What I must be. It cannot be left in a corner, forgotten, like letters of the past covered in dust. This is my story and I will not forget. The hurt and the pain. The struggle and shame. Because if I forget no one will remember. No one will know or be there to tell this story. Anger. It isn’t a story of anger. But it’s a story of transformation. Of holding my anger, like a cherished organ, understanding that without this anger, I would not be this soon-to-no-longer-be lost girl. With anger oozing in her path. With change in her horizon. I would be the masses that for too long have been too helpless to leave. They lost they’re anger. Lowered their heads when they were told they shouldn’t want more. They should be happy with what they have. But I will not forget. I will always know. And that is what drives me.

Intro

Now the time has come
The music's between us
Though the night seems young
Is at an end
Only change will bring
You out of the darkness
In this moment everything is born again
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Now the fireball burns
We go round together
As the planet turns into the light
Something more than dreams to
Watch out for each other
Coz we know what it means to be alive
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Feel the new day enter your life
Feel the new day
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise
Feel the new day enter your life
Reach up for the sunrise
Put your hands into the big sky
You can touch the sunrise

Weasel words with easy starts are not the first ones to our hearts

Weasel words
with easy starts
are not the first
ones to our hearts
when the cold cadaver light of day
takes one of those we love away

After the funeral
- when the funeral was over
- After we had buried him

We walked across the grass
We walked across the grass
leaving footprints in the dew

footprints in the dew
How was that possible
’God’s name how was that possible

with him forever
And now, forever
footprints forever

looking back across the grass
The warmth of the day
losing us all, forever

The Well Sought Happy Ending

that i was once
a flagellum,

beside a paramecium
that in one flick of the finger of time

i have risen to be a tuber,
and with some little rains, i have grown

a tail, lost into a fish,
evolved into a turtle

and on a fast ambition with
the passages of more summers

i accepted the gift of wings
then feet and hands

and then in one glimpse of
the cold seasons, four or five,

i found myself in bed
as a man reading the morning papers

but i do not remember all these now
as i stand before another door

ready to enter another room
i hear a voice of someone that i

think i was with a long time ago
and for which

we shall be together again
in a new place

handing me a book for me to
read at the first hour

of another morning
beside a stranger who shall

tell me that love is actually
and still is, everywhere

and that until i feel it and
touch it and sleep with it and

live with it, then there will
be no more doors,

there is one, and it opens to
a garden, where i shall never

leave again, for when love is found
life shall be enough

when true love is found that
creeps in all the nerves of your spine

you decide to stop and stick to
where you really is

that is the end, and like all endings
it is the happy one.

Oh I Hate

It sucks how i can still luv u
after all that we been through
through the pain and the joy too
I hate that I still love you
I hate that i still think of you when around other women
I hate that my skin hasnt felt the same without your touch
I hate that my lips refuses to kiss another
I hate my dreams because you visit every night
I hate your smile because it makes me smile
above all I hate those eyes
I hate those eyes cause they say I love you when your
mouth doesn't
I hate those eyes because they see right through me
I hate those eyes for every wink, for every flutter
I hate those eyes for the pain and the love
I can't help it, I'm a hopeless romantic
I'm so tired of fantasy and senseless imagination
I hate myself for craving you, wanting you, loving you still
This is the cost I pay, my bill
The curse of the romantic fantasy, my real

Between My Horse's Wings (Expanded)

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
The wind rushing forcefully
Through my long dark hair
The feel of the cool air
Beneath the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy
The muscles work powerfully
To drive us into the night
The stars wink like little lights
Above the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
As I ride over the ocean and sea
My muscles tense as I hold
My skin red from the windy cold
Flowing past the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
I revel in this dangerous ecstasy
A silvery mane blows in my face
Blown back, by the wind we race
Born on by the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
As we fly through the air swiftly
My face is lifted toward the sky
Arms outstretched, wind rushing by
The beating of the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
Faster and faster, we seem to fly
The wind tugging at my body
As I look to the heavenly bodies
Shining on the horse’s wings

Is this real, or is this fantasy?
My horse flies gracefully
Over the fields and streams
Are these things only my dreams?
Sitting between the horse’s wings

democracy in the Philippine islands

there is this little boy
who is practicing to ride a big bike
his feet are short
and so are his hands
and always
in this predicament
does he fall and tumble

the years passed
and it is the same boy again
practicing to ride his
big bicycle

sometimes i am just curious
what is this boy
eating and drinking
since his feet are still short
and his hands are still small
he never had the guts
riding his bicycle to the full

it is the same situation all over again
he falls and bleeds
and cries that the bicycle is always too big for his
short feet and small hands

he falls and he tumbles
he bleeds and he fails

Empty (Astralasia Mix)

Crawl across the floor
If it feels like something you know
Curl up in a ball
If it feels like home
Sleep as much as you can
If you can't sleep then lay there
Pick at yourself
Until you feel pure
Something's pulling you to the floor
Like a longtime friend
Someone's banging your head on the wall
As a means to an end
Empty
Filling up with sick
Like water in your lungs
Sucking yellow fog around your head
This must be the end of you
But you know this will never stop
You can't hear anything anymore
Just the hammer in your chest
Walk on through the growing noise
Of your inescapable path
Walk willingly into the dark
Nothing can touch you now
Once you were a child
The world was darker then
Fear was in the hall
But you won't think about that now
Just some warmth and a home
And an end to the task
Your doors are standing wide open
But it's too late for you now
And although it's not quite the time
Although we've just begun to leave
We will tarry not to say we were wrong
to leave behind a silent reproach
And when our eyes are searching out
And our hearts are beating strong
We'll have a reason not to grieve
With holly leaves and scanning skies
And if the colors fade into night
And the storms our heads enclose
And our souls are set against one another
If the seas receive us not
And the skies mock our lowliness
Then we shall still love one another
For we are two, together
For we are two, together
