Monologue #2
there are so many voices.
inside.
don't tell them,
they will concoct stories about you
during their parties.
but i join them in their table
and talk about
politics and
economy.
they think you have nothing at all.
you are flimsy.
i don't mind.
you are a choir of angels.
how sweet to hear
i close my eyes
and then i feel
heaven.
Idiot.
why are you like that to me?
we are friends.
stupid. you are so trusting and
so you are a loser.
be a fox.
i am not a fox.
i like being a dove.
moron! moron! moron!
that is quite repetitive.
and you are so cruel.
have faith.
that is the only choice now.
let life do it for you.
throw away your
planner.
listen.
i don't like you but i can't get rid of you.
you are myself.

To A Fellow...
i am reading every writing on the wall
the letters are so cold, like the arms of a dead man
defeated,
nothing interests me really, except myself, after having gone into same wars with you,
the self above self, that seems to be the golden rule now for survival
the mind must circumnavigate its own world,
convoluted upon its intestines
its own trails
it is you that i am worried about, the moron, the destitute,
the loquacious duck on the pond,
there is no map, and so you have no direction at all,
circular in motion, arriving at
no train station
i give you time, a cup of hours, we drink it,
i watch every syllable that your mouth is mumbling
because i am worried about what the child in you is saying
i hear every vowel there and pay attention to the power of
your consonants,
that which you cannot say, or that which cannot be ever said
fool, God's fool,
we are, and you the moron that mumbles what you cannot really understand
is king,
the wise man, that baby crawling under the bed
in the middle of the bridge as we watch
the tilt
if you fall, we all die.

Call Me Idiot
a word from you,
and i will remember it,
on this
elephantine memory,
idiot, you call me idiot,
and i shall retort for once
but not twice, not anymore
shall i become
another image of you,
i dread.
i will not call you moron,
but i shall be in my room again
alone
on an array of oxymora
talking to the drapes and the drawers
burying all these
humiliations, and putting a stop
to my fears,
i will see the dancing chairs
and hug the lovely pillows,
hide beneath my blankets,
i promise myself, i will have a nice sleep
and inside my dream
i shall write the most beautiful poem in my life.

Morons
We were morons from the day we were born
We believed every word that you said - boy were we wrong
We're all fat now - on the sofas - mini morons - taking over
Cos we're older now, older now, older now, older now
We were morons - red, white and blue
We were working class kids on the skids - with nothing to do
We're all dead now - in our boxes - holding on to what little we go left
Cos it's over now, over now, over now, over now
Read moron newspapers, watch moron television
All laid on by slimy little, sleazy little, phony little morons
Etonians, Harrovians, think they're the chosen ones
And they poke fun at scruffy little, spotty little, stupid little morons
Ha ha ha ha, look at those morons
Ha ha ha ha, they do nothing but whine
And they're slow all the time
Look at those morons, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind, never mind
We can leave them behind, while we're dumbing them down, we'll be robbing them blind
Ah Ah, morons don't matter at all.
No education, no informatioon
Morons are boring, ugly and small
They lower the tone, lets get rid of them all
Will to learn - gone away
Force fed garbage every day
We're the slaves of smarmy little, self important, petty little morons
Oxford - Cambridge - see how the other half live
Steer well clear of lazy little, filthy little, funny little morons
Ha ha ha ha, look at those morons
Ha ha ha ha, they're such terrible types
And they're not very bright - look at those morons
It's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right, it's all right
Let them fight every night, while they're missing the point, we can d

None of That Sweet Mess
Hey, hey, hey...
Wait one minute.
IF you are going to quote me,
Do not do it out of context.
I did not call everyone in politics a moron.
Nor did I say all of the local politicians,
Were corrupted and half of them are crooks.
What I said was this...
Idiots shouldn't be in politics.
And lowlife thieves...
Who can't put two sentences together,
Or spell their names without assistance...
Should be banned from the process.
And relatives of fools should not be qualified to vote.
That's what I said.
Nothing makes me more angry than someone attempting,
To add sugar on what I like to serve.
AND what's on today's menu.
And today's dishes require salt and vinegar to satisfy.
None of that sweet mess on my...ssshhh...'STUFF'.

You May Walk Ahead
on a dark night like this
you may walk ahead and we shall follow you
along the streets of loneliness
and people who see us will say,
'there, the prince walks along this road
moving towards his date somewhere
followed by his
moron friends'
they're honest, and we like the way they see us.

Ruthless Military Invasions In An Age Of Empires
one particularly sad aspect
of ruthless military invasions
in an age of expansion empires
is the concept of race superiority
recurring arrogant master race theory
repeating since ancient civilizations
the nationalism of race superiority
blind allegiance to dictator leaders
moron clone mind syndrome soldiers
justifies invasion exploitations
of innocent civilian populations
first sell hoax invasion pretexts
moron clone mind syndrome ensures
citizens ranting support our brave soldiers
their bombing killing tortures rapes?
you have not heard of soils of wars?
sad necessity of collateral damages?
prime objective control resources?
do not be calling evil good
return evil not in political causes

I share his pain
I meet God in him'

Well, I think youre obnoxious
And I think that you stink
I think youre a moron
A slob, and a fink
Youre one of the biggest turkeys I know
And that is the reason Im going to
Throw gravy on you
And throw gravy on you
And throw gravy, gravy on you-ou-ou-ou-ou

They Should Have Provided
I have almost been reduced to a homeless pauper.
This fatal city, Antioch,
has consumed all my money;
this fatal city with its expensive life.
But I am young and in excellent health.
My command of Greek is superb
(I know all there is about Aristotle, Plato;
orators, poets, you name it.)
I have an idea of military affairs,
and have friends among the mercenary chiefs.
I am on the inside of administration as well.
Last year I spent six months in Alexandria;
I have some knowledge (and this is useful) of affairs there:
intentions of the Malefactor, and villainies, et cetera.
Therefore I believe that I am fully
qualified to serve this country,
my beloved homeland Syria.
In whatever capacity they place me I shall strive
to be useful to the country. This is my intent.
Then again, if they thwart me with their methods --
we know those able people: need we talk about it now?
if they thwart me, I am not to blame.
First, I shall apply to Zabinas,
and if this moron does not appreciate me,
I shall go to his rival Grypos.
And if this idiot does not hire me,
I shall go straight to Hyrcanos.
One of the three will want me however.
And my conscience is not troubled
about not worrying about my choice.
All three harm Syria equally.
But, a ruined man, why is it my fault.
Wretched man, I am trying to make ends meet.
The almighty gods should have provided
and created a fourth, good man.
Gladly would I have joined him.

Close Your Eyes And Repeat After Me
With a giving to me,
Of your fixed and focused eye contact...
Do you remember when you saw in my eyes,
Sincerity, warmth and empathy?
And I listened with intent to comprehend?
I remember it and so should you.
Now...
Close your eyes and repeat after me,
'Such a fool was I to have screwed that up.
I went out of my way to prove myself a complete moron.
No heels can I click three times,
Will I ever get that kind of patience back...
From someone I took totally for granted.'
Do that until you sense my absence.
~When should I start?
Should I leave my eyes closed?
Are you still there? ~
