Meta 1

it is the same sound of the
electric fan that still
dominates the smallness of
her dark room
but just the same as she is tired
and lonely
and feeling so abandoned
and helpless
she takes her own refuge
on inexpensive
sleep.

Blank, Numb, Floating

it is 1: 55 a.m.
i hear the rain falling
she is fast asleep tired of the demands of her day
i leave her and she takes the pillow for me
i turn on the light
and see this room of books and paperworks
i turn on the computer
i am feeling nothing and i am floating like i am but a spirit
i am numb and i am feeling so dumb
i see this blank wall
i am feeling so empty

i look at her again
she utters words in her sleep and i will not wake her up
i lay my hands on the keys
run my fingers on some letters
there is nothing to write
in particular but there is something to run my fingers on
this feeling
this attempt to imitate the sound of the rain in letters
to put the motion of the rain to put its smell
to be wet and to have the rain run over me
all over me all over me all over me all over me

blank, numb, floating and wet
this is the poem now
at 2: 03 a.m.
it has gained finally this form
and scent and motion and color
that you have never seen
or felt the way

i do.

Im Lonely

I am all alone
In this dark creepy room
With no one to hold me tight or keep me safe
I see through the dark and scary night
When no one is looking or even breathing
I cry myself to sleep and I cry the light out of my mind or try to forget it
Whats wrong with me am I that scary or is it because of my darkness
I feel so lonely and confused
If no one wants me here then there is just one question
Why am I here in such a dark room?
All locked up by myself
Did I do something wrong
Is there something wrong with me
I am so lonely

Thats What I Call Love

You take away my air
You make my lungs collapse
I die tonight
Feeling devastated
Thats what I call
Livin in your memory
Thats what I call
Tired and deflated
Thats what I call
Love
I tidy up your room
You tidy up my life
Show me the door
Im abandoned here
Im warm to the core
I can feel
You sink I swim
We never got in that deep
You bend I break
I die tonight
Feeling devastated
Thats what I call
Hangin on and fallin over
Thats what I call
Tired and deflated
Thats what I call
Love
I got a little room
The airs still pretty bad
I die tonight
Feeling devastated
Thats what I call
Hangin on and fallin over
Thats what I call
Tired and deflated
Thats what I call
Feeling devastated
Thats
Livin with a vacuum cleaner
What
Sweepin up your memory
I call love

All Fetal.....

after i have written so much
the night will be deep and dark
and then when i go into the room
it will be so silent
that i can hear the whisking of a
bug on the floor
on the rug

and she will be soundly asleep
tightly curled
around herself

the bed is wide and the blanket is thick
the sound of the night wind is not that horrible
as i may have thought that much

the light is dim and
the room smells significantly nothing
like artificial orange or a fake
lemon

i too shall curl inside myself
cover everything in me with that separate thick blanket
and take my much needed sleep

it is a very late hour and the hands of the clock are tired

and the light will be completely turned off in such a way
that i see nothing at all

not even feeling that i have a soul

this is what we are now
all genetically
fetal.

Melancholy wintertime thoughts

Its cold outside and the fire
Crackles in the hearth, sends forth
Merry sparks to conceal you from
the dark.
You will not let the fire dim,
Because you know they will come in
All the wonderers in the dark.
All the dancers in the dark all the lonely
And the old, those from before who are
Here searching through the dark.
The peikko and the shamleg the journo and the ancient one
who slides on his belly, seek refuge in the dark.
The beast with many horns and he who
sleeps the day seek refuge in the dark.

So draw near to your little fire, throw on
A log or two. Think not of the beasts of winter and
they wont care for you

The Lonely

(mark jones/lari white/chuck cannon)
Theres a band called the lonely playin downtown tonight
And man, they know their way around the blues
Theres not an empty space in the parkin lot
And theres a line stretchin around the block
And the sad man standin at the door says the place is full of broken hearts
If youre here to see the lonely, if youre here to see the lonely
Its standin room only for the lonely
Oh, you can dance with a stranger under the smoky blue lights
You can stand alone with lovers who love to lose
You can drown in your pain if theres room at the bar
You can hide your tears, you can cry in the dark
While the lonely sings a song straight to your broken heart
If youre here to see the lonely, if youre here to see the lonely
Its standin room only
If youre here to see the lonely, if youre here to see the lonely
Its standin room only
If youre here to see the lonely, if youre here to see the lonely
If youre here to see the lonely, if youre here to see the lonely
Its standin room only

House for Sale

I stood in the midst of the empty house,
It was silent, empty, and bare,
gone was the laughter the tears and the life,
and the family that once lived there.
I stood there observing, to try to revive
the memories this house had to share,
the secrets, excitement, unhappiness too,
these feelings so willing to bear.
I heard children playing and lapping up life,
I heard adults talking and scolding,
This house bore it all with its solid repose,
and accepted with wisdom beholding.
I stood in the midst of the empty house,
with a feeling of sadness around,
abandoned and empty, a lonely shell,
for the place never uttered a sound,
it was silent and bare, where the rooms had been stripped
and the furniture taken away,
the paint had been scratched and the floor left unwashed
when the house was abandoned that day.
The ghosts from its past walk through each lonely room,
and I sigh as I button my coat,
I slam the front door with an echoing bang
and a lump seems to lodge in my throat-
for there on the green lawn for all eyes to see
with dark letters outstanding on pale
is a board standing taut in the cold winter sun
with the large, lonely wording- "For Sale"

Seizure

I’m so tired
I want to go to sleep
Im scared to go to
sleep
of what might happen if I fall a sleep

I fell so week
like Im going to have one
but I know im not
I hate this felling
week
helpless
left side is num
I can barley walk

cant help but to think what would happen
if I had one
what Ethan would do
if I had one
how would dad would feel
if it happens while he’s gone
what would Andy think
would I scar him for life
he would understand
how scarey they really are then
I wish you were here to
calm my fears
tell me everything is ok

I rather die then have one
they are so scarey
when I have them im
scared for days
to fall a sleep
scared to be tired
scared to go to sleep

no one knows about it but me
no one would believe me if
I told them
they don’t understand
what its like to be afraid
of being tired
they say Im just wanting
“Attention”
but really
I was terrified
to go to bed
or to feel tired
that’s when it happens

Sometimes

Honestly, can I say what I mean
Don't you play with me
Cos I'm a lady
When I look in your eyes
I can see through your charm
You're constantly twisted
I'm angry, alarmed
Your poison has taken control of my soul
But I won't say no more
And I won't take no more
Chorus:
Sometimes I wonder where this feeling began
Deep in my heart right from the start
Tired and lonely I'll move on from this pain
I'm starting again I'm breaking the chain
Emotionally, it takes all of me
Apologies, but you don't really have a hold on me
There's a distance between us
And you take the blame
I know that you try but
At the stage of the game
I've started a new life
There's no turning back
With you now, don't you know, can't you see I got over
Chorus:
Sometimes I wonder where this feeling began
Deep in my heart right from the start
Tired and lonely I'll move on from this pain
I'm starting again I'm breaking the chain
Had to take matters into my own hands
Falling this deep wasn't part of my plans
If turning this around is what I have to do
To get through to you
My fire's burnt out it's true
Chorus:
Sometimes I wonder where this feeling began
Deep in my heart right from the start
Tired and lonely I'll move on from this pain
I'm starting again I'm breaking the chain

Lonely Child

I'm a lonely child.
Looking for...
Love,
Answers,
Belonging,
For a place to feel safe.
I'm a lonely child.
That is...
Abandoned,
Lost,
Confused,
Scared of myself.
I'm a lonely child...
...Tired...
I'm a lonely child...
...Let me rest...

6th Nonsense

The room is dark, I die.
Like painting the wind, it's impossible.
If oranges were gray we might call them 'Grays'
That would be groovy.
The room is dark, I die.

The room is dark, I die.
If there's rain in Spain would it make it to Maine?
I don't think so.
Everything's Zen?
I don't think so.
The room is dark I die.

The room is dark, I die.
I want to drift through lavender fields like honey on a cotton ball.
Dig it.
But the high-talking motorcross bandits won't let me.
The sorrow.
The room is dark, I die.

The room is dark, I die.
But if I were in Punjab I never would have seen the quartet.
If only quartets had 7 people.
That's alright because bunsen burners don't cost much.
The room is dark, I die.

The room is dark, I die.
That's my favorite Bible verse.
I think it's in Lushiticus, or Nueteronomy.
The hail storms don't mean anything when you're a unicorn anyway.
The room is dark, I die.

Electric

(john farrar)
From the beginning I was on to you
But like a magnet I was drawn to you
Dont leave me waiting here in the dark
Switch off the static of a broken heart
Were holding a live wire, dont let it go
Not before you know-
You make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
Its not your look thats getting through to me
Its what your human hands can do to me
You have a power to shake me up
Your touch is all it takes to wake me up
Were holding a live wire, dont let it go
Not before you know-
You make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
I never thought Id want this kind of affection
You are the exception-oh no
Ah,you make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
You make me feel electric
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock

Cold night

Cold night
~
Silence creeps in
With a cold hand
Shakes up the room
Leaving thoughts lonely
Whispers in the dark
Just an imagination
To quick to sleep
Writing words on paper
Lyrics of a poem singing
Tired eyes look down
Unable to sleep
The unconscious
Talking to the conscious
A conversation mimicking
The default reality
There is no escaping
Silence crept in
With the coldest hand
Tonight

I'm So Tired

i'm so tired (lennon/mccartney)
I'm so tired, i haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should i get up and fix myself a drink
No,no,no.
I'm so tired i don't know what to do
I'm so tired my mind is set on you
I wonder should i call you but i know what you'd do
You'd say i'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know i can't sleep, i can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, i'm going insane
You know i'd give you everything i've got
For a little peace of mind
I'm so tired, i'm feeling so upset
Although i'm so tired i'll have another cigarette
And curse sir walter raleigh
He was such a stupid git.

Lonely, ,

Lonely and alone I am
my soul's always lonesome
in a crowd of loneliness
it sounds sad and lonely
hiding loneliness alone
the lonely lone alone

Lonely is a single traveller
on a dark and winding road.
Lonely is the burden
of carrying a heavy load.

Lonely is a beautiful song
that no one's ever heard,
and lonely is the wait for death
by a broken winged bird.

Lonely is the emptiness
inside my hollow soul,
and lonely is the sound of the wind
blowing through its gaping hole.

Loneliness is second only
to the darkened void of death
and loneliness is taking
that 'Right' to Hell
when I should have made a 'Left'.

Lonely is the sound
of an infant
who sadly cries in vain,
and lonely is his addict mother
shooting poison in her veins.

Lonely is the boy
who will never become a man
and lonely is the brink of disaster
upon which I know I stand.

Lonely is the poem
which has gone on long enough
and lonely is the sympathizers
who say I've, 'had it rough'.

Lonely is my life
lived without family or friend
and lonely is the last word of this poem
because it's always at the...

End.

Labyrinth

the uneven rhythm of silence
as night pulls the living into
its patchy blanket falls heavy
on the heart’s ears…

the sound of sound sleep
breathes heavier on the
jagged walls of the night
echoing on the abandoned skin

the abandoned echo fills
the precincts of the streets
the irregular rhythm throngs
the foot-paths of the night

once in a way a baton
proves its power
once in a way
blazing lights stop by…

in the dark silence
do they seek a brief respite
and shake off night’s embrace
to begin yet another day…

Better Sleep.

Suddenly it’s so tired that made me felt asleep.
Laid on deck no feeling slowly slept so deep.
No matter the sounds of how many beeper beeps.
I could not control myself has fallen sleep.

My tired body was unable to sit on my deck.
I pulled it go to my bed really took a sweet sleep
I did not care so many books on the deck junk heap
This is the first experience, I felt better after a little sleep

How wonderful I got back my good spirit.
After this experience I learned afternoon sleep.
In the passed fifty years I have never been so tired.
This might be a signal to train myself get rest.

It is why there in Perking teach children noon sleep.
Yes, sleep can help people get healthier.
Why not go to sleep when you’re tired?
You have better learn the advantageous sleep.

About sleep I remember twenty years ago one day.
My eye balls were uncontrollable automatically leaped
It was my experience during my long way’s drive.
That time I had to park my car aside to get half hour sleep.
I scared to drive any more when I really felt tired.
It is my serious warning to you won’t be risk on this.

Lonely You; Lonely I

You say you are lonely.
Are you? Come see MY solitary world.

I am lonely:
Not the ‘generally feeling lonely’ feeling –
You know, the ‘I need a cuddle 'cos I’m feeling a bit lonely today’ feeling;
Or the ‘I’m on my own today so I think I need to call up a friend’ feeling.
No, I mean the terror and depression of cold isolation;
That Black Hole of raw solitude;
The nadir you arrive at after a steady spiral downwards, inwards.
And suffocation by the blanket of social invisibility
Which insidiously greyed out your psyche without your knowing.
You know, when you alight on the platform of endless alcoholic days;
When you’re sprawled vacant and naked in the corner of your filthy room,
Oblivious to the scurrying life outside –
That which doesn’t acknowledge your existence anyway:

That’s lonely.

Lonely

Feeling so alone and deserted
With people standing all around you
Should I trust someone
Should I stay off to myself
Alone with no one to talk to
It's such a helpless feeling

So anytime you feel the need
Call me when you're lonely
Cause everybody needs a friend
To be there when they're lonely

So don't isolate yourself
Every time that I come around
A person all alone
Is an unhappy one
We need somebody near to love us
Someone who cares
Living life all by yourselves
I'mpossible to do and I'll be there for you
Anytime you feel the need
Call me when you're lonely
Cause everybody needs a friend
And I'll be yours if you're lonely
(And if you're all alone)
If you're all alone
And a friend you need
Like a river flows
You hurt
