Man Heaven And Earth
caught in between
man situates
in the confused state
and he is there
and it is so beautiful to see
earth, man, and heaven
both hands
holding
like a greedy child
taking both
on one grip
lust, flesh,
humanity
can heaven be still faraway?

Heaven
Heaven is waking to see your love.
Heaven is seeing blue skies above.
Heaven is hearing your child's laugh.
Heaven is observing a newborn calf.
Heaven is touching the sea with your toes.
Heaven is smelling the salty air with your nose.
Heaven is tasting the food you love best.
Heaven is napping or taking a rest.
Heaven is crying the tears that you need.
Heaven is doing a friend a good deed.
Heaven is music that gives you a lift.
Heaven is not some faraway gift
that comes when you finish your life.

Here on earth imperfection, there in heaven perfection
Here on earth discontent, there in heaven content
Here on earth disgrace, there in heaven grace
Here on earth disease, there in heaven ease
Here on earth hatred, there in heaven love
Here on earth war, there in heaven peace
Here on earth decay, there in heaven freshness
Here on earth selfish, there in heaven selfless
Here on earth oppression, there in heaven liberty
Here on earth agonize, there in heaven relax

The Loss Of A Child
Dear God we ask,
Take care of our little child,
Someone who means so much to us,
So beautiful, so gentle, so mild.
A battle fought when tiny,
To stay upon this earth,
A child that was very weak,
From the moment of the birth.
Our prayers were sent for healing,
We gave thanks every day,
For the time the child was amongst us,
But alas, still was taken away.
You have taken the one we worshipped,
To your home in heaven above,
I am sure you had your reasons,
For taking someone we love.
My child I know you are hurting,
You feel life is not the same,
You have nothing to reproach yourself,
You were not to blame.
God took back to heaven,
A rare and beautiful flower,
He has planted it in his garden,
Will surround it with all his power.
The spirit of your child,
In heaven will develop and grow,
To be surrounded by those good people,
Will be surrounded by those you know
Although you have lost the material,
The spirit will be strong and true,
The good times you remember,
Your child will be close to you.

Where Is Heaven
My daughter asked me: daddy where is heaven?
I thought about this very carefully
asking myself the same question.
Then the answer came into my mind
Like a bolt of lightning.
Heaven is god, and god is heaven.
When we commit ourselves to god, body and soul
Then we are in heaven, because heaven is in us.
Yet when we fail to see what is in front of us
And what’s in our hearts, that’s when we are blind.
For god is in our hearts, and heaven is god.
Just look around at all that he has created
Then look into your heart and
see the beauties inside and out.
Why would god create the universe and the world
And not have created a heaven within us.
We are gods most beautiful creation
And he gave us his only begotten son
To show us the way to heaven.
Now many say that heaven is in infinity
and infinity has no beginning and no end.
and hell is here on earth, and some say it’s below the earth.
Now it is hard to believe that god
would make this beautiful earth as hell.
And if it was under the earth, where is the fire and brimstone
When we dig so deep into the earth searching for oil.
Heaven is in our love for god while on this earth
Then we go to his kingdom in his total heart
Where it is infinite.
This is where I see heaven my daughter.
It’s in all of us who believe in god.

Heaven Is
Heaven is a woman
Dressed in blue
And heaven is knowing
Someone who is in love with you
Heaven is a television
Left on all day
And heaven is making love
And then running away
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is believing
What your eyes dont see
And heaven is christy canyon
Falling in love with me
Heaven in waking up
To be a millionaire
And heaven is spending the whole next day
Just walking on air
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is
All these things you say and do
It doesnt mean that much to you
But all these things you said to me
The memories wont set me free
Heaven is a dream
When it wont come true
And heaven is the sky
When its always blue
Heaven is the girl
With short black hair
And heaven is a woman
With enough to spare
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is
Heaven is
And heaven is taking a holiday
And heaven is having you here to stay
And heaven is never ever saying sorry
And heaven is as easy as abc
And heaven is your eyes when theyre always blue
And heaven is just right here with you
Heaven is
Heaven is

Somebodys Heaven
Music by 10,000 maniacs - lyrics by mary ramsey
There like a feather you fell someones heaven above me
Floating so fickle tempting me teasing my ways
Thrown from its clutches I struggle to free what escapes me
Absalom hanging like you Im caught in between
Heaven then earth then heaven between you
Release me untangle my hair
Absalom hanging like you Im caught in between
Heaven then earth heaven between you
Patient I wait as I hold a small feather
That floated from somebodys heaven.

I Wonder Where My Lions Are?
I wonder where my lions are?
I wonder where my lions are?
I wonder where my lions are?
They are safe running in heaven in that beautiful park that God own in Heaven together with the other animals
Also in heaven they are protected by God
Because God doesn't allow any hunters in heaven
Like here on the earth
But there is no animal cruelty in heaven
But the place that have animal cruelty is on the earth
The people that lives in heaven are more educated than on the earth
The people in heaven respect the animals in heaven
The people on earth don't respect the animals on the earth
The people in heaven have a lot of love for the animals
The people on the earth don't seem to have any love for the animals
Even when I sleep I dream of heaven and I see the lions and other Animals
Living free in the park
And I must say that the park in heaven that God made is beautiful
But at the same time I thank God for giving the animals a beautiful Home

Faraway
What a state to be in
Its a world of indecision
So self destructive
And such an ugly business
In and out of fashion
You always leave your mark
An indefinite decision
A dangerous remark
** when youre cold and tired
Dont turn your head away
The distance thats between us
Gets bigger every day
* how come you never see
Youre as faraway as faraway can be
Youre as faraway as faraway can be
You try so hard to impress
You talk the telephone to death
Its what you cant see that counts
But you havent worked that out yet
There is no reason
There is no plan
The truth can be deceptive
From such a quiet man
Theres madness in your words
Not wishing to be heard
But just like yesterday
Youve already slipped away
(* repeat)
(** repeat)
(* repeat)
Youre as faraway as faraway
As faraway as faraway
As faraway as faraway
As faraway as faraway
As faraway as faraway
As faraway from me as you can be

Near Wild Heaven
Whenever we hold each other
We hold each other
Theres a feeling thats gone
Something has gone wrong
And I dont know how much longer I can take it
House made of heart break it
Take my head in your hands and shake it
In this near wild heaven
Not near enough.
Living inside
Living inside
Near wild heaven
Whatever it takes Im giving
Its just a gift Im given
Try to live inside
Trying to move inside
And I always thought that it would make me smarter
But its only made me harder
My heart thrown open wide
In this near wild heaven
Not near enough.
Living inside
Living inside
Near wild heaven
Im holding my hands together
Im holding my feet together
Im holding myself together
In this near wild heaven
Not near enough

Life and death
This world is driven by two contending powers--
Love, that coerceth Heaven to dwell with dust,
And that dire pledge of Hell's self-perjured Lust--
And as we list must Heaven and Hell be ours.
Not light the election runs: lo, each devours
That savour set in each, while equal gust
Each uses; yet our choice support we must--
Blest wine or, this rejected, sweat that sours.
Love, oft through Hell that seems, acclaims what Heaven!
But Lust, through seeming Heaven, with easy breath
Slides on to Hell, how soon, how richly given!
If Love to heavenly state so quickeneth,
While Lust must e'er in cheating Hell be shriven,
They sponsor what, these powers, but Life and Death?

Heaven Help Us
Heaven help the child who never had a home,
Heaven help the girl who walks the street alone
Heaven help the roses if the bombs begin to fall,
Heaven help us all.
Heaven help the black man if he struggles one more day,
Heaven help the white man if he turns his back away,
Heaven help the man who kicks the man who has to crawl,
Heaven help us all.
Heaven help us all, heaven help us all, help us all.
Heaven help us, Lord, hear our call when we call
Oh, yeah!
Heaven help the boy who won't reach twenty-one,
Heaven help the man who gave that boy a gun.
Heaven help the people with their backs against the wall,
Lord, Heaven help us all.
Heaven help us all, heaven help us all, heaven help us all, help us all.
Heaven help us, Lord, hear our call when we call.
Now I lay me down before I go to sleep.
In a troubled world, I pray the Lord to keep, keep hatred from the mighty,
And the mighty from the small,
Heaven help us all.
Oh, oh, oh, yeah!
Heaven help us all.

Fleshly Lust
Our sins will lead us to Hell!
So, we better gain Heaven by doing righteousness.
Heaven and Earth will pass away for,
A New Heaven and a New earth which is spiritual;
So, let us gain this New Kingdom with true love and peace.
Oh! ! ! ! Our fleshly lust!
Our fleshly lust will lead us to Hell.

The Triumph Of The Flesh
I have passed from the regions of dreams and of vision
And the flesh is the flesh and the rose is the rose;
And we see but the absolute joy of the present
In the Sunlight of beauty.
I am filled with carnivorous lust: like a tiger
I crouch and I feed on my beautiful prey:
There is nought in the monstrous world of Astarte
So fair as thy body.
Let me lie, let me die on thy snow-coloured bosom,
I would eat of thy flesh as of delicate fruit,
I am drunk of its smell, and the scent of thy tresses
Is as flame that devours.
Thou art demon and God, thou art hell, thou art Heaven,
Thou art love that is lust, thou art lust that is love,
And I see but the heavenly grace of thy body,
A picture--a poem.

Lost To An Angel
Romance was over
And love went away.
She lost him to an Angel
In heaven faraway.
She knew he had entered
High heaven above,
And will always remember
Their encounter of love.
But his life now belongs
To someone apart,
He smiles at an Angel
Who has captured his heart.
Not long ago his kisses were wine
And for a brief year or two
Her blue eyes were blind.
Then to heaven he soared
One day in the spring
Left her standing alone
Where the birds did not sing.
Romance was over
And love went away.
She lost him to an Angel
In heaven faraway.

Give Me Heaven, I Wont Be Content.
Give me Heaven,
I wont be content
with her golden streets
and pearly gates
breath taking mansions
and all the joyful saints
Give me Heaven,
I wont be content
with the amazing wall
and her fitly-set stones
of jasper, sapphire, chrysolite and the rest
my eyes shall not more be pleased
than with the c'mon granite which acquit my flesh
on my pilgrim days on earth
Give me Heaven,
I wont be content
with all her celestial bliss
cherubims and seraphims in their glorious wings
and for always eternity the meal
and my crown, heaven's stars adorn.
If that's all there is,
if His throne be void,
or by another preside,
give me Heaven,
I wont be satisfied.

Heaven Help Me
If you want it you can have it
Thats what you said
But I dont want the things that you leave behind
Take the pictures, take the windows and the walls
But baby wont you leave me my peace of mind
Oh such a waste of time
Oh such a waste
I still want you baby
Heaven help me heaven help me
Talk to strangers talk to strangers
Heaven help me
Over you
Help me over you
I cant seem to take these changes
Everything reminds my heart of you
Thought the first time was the last time
Of being apart
Now I find Im having to search again
Itll happen
Its gotta happen
Come together
I just wish somebody would tell me when
Oh such a waste of time
Oh such a waste
I still want you baby
(chorus)
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
(repeat chorus twice)
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me
Youre someone elses lady
So sad without you darlin
The gods of love cant help me now
Heaven help heaven help
Heaven, heaven heaven help me

Cassandra
To me, one silly task is like another.
I bare the shambling tricks of lust and pride.
This flesh will never give a child its mother,—
Song, like a wing, tears through my breast, my side,
And madness chooses out my voice again,
Again. I am the chosen no hand saves:
The shrieking heaven lifted over men,
Not the dumb earth, wherein they set their graves.
