Looking For The Best Metaphor Of Rest....
i am still looking
for a metaphor that best suits me
one that can put a good color to a
demise
of noble thoughts that
soon shall leave
all of us, i am still carefully sorting
scent, color,
shape,
and texture
what appears in my mind is purple
but it will be too royal when i am not
scarlet is a little bit scary
perhaps
while will do, it will be the scent of a flower
wilting
as the sun fades away to give way to the reign
of the princess of
darkness
darkness is not evil, it is a way of giving in
to sleep
that is sound and
eternal.

The Color Purple
a friend of mine is obsessed with purple
she says it's a royal color
fits for kings and queens
and she feels like a princess
on her purple hair
her purple dress
and purple bra and
purple shoes
the walls of her house are painted
the railings of the stairs
the windows
the doors are all purple now
the flowers in her garden
and the leaves of her trees
the grass
all purple too
her speech is purple too
the movies she watch are all in the shade of purple
her car turned purple too
royal color that is what she says
i tell her bluntly, ' You are boring, purple! '

What Color? (Hope)
what color
was the dust
from which the stars
were made?
what color is the hunger
written on the child's face?
what color is justice,
forgiveness, desire, truth?
what color is the wind....
the rain, gravity,
and knowledge?
what color is equality?
what color is freedom?
what color is eternity?
what color is redemption?
what color is God?
what color were the nails
that hung Jesus on the cross?
what color was enlightenment
falling on the Buddha as he sat
'neath that tree?
what color is prejudice, hatred,
fear, greed, apathy.....
what color your skin?
nay, what color is your blood?
and what color are the eyes
of humanity staring through the darkness?
and what color is hope?

My Flower
A scent lingering in the
room
has led me to this very bloom.
A scent so fragrant,
A scent so grand,
A scent so strong it could
spread across the land.
A shade of golden-brown
is something that will not make me frown.
A flower so beautiful,
a flower that's for me
makes me bend on this very
knee.
The allure, scent, and attraction
is enough to control my very
action.
Don't worry, she's not only your flower,
she's my flower.

Color Me
I wish that they would color me
The color of the rose
The color of the spring
Or the color of the snow.
If again they’d color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color I could see
As long as I am free.
As I wish that they would color me
The color of the trees
Or the color of the leaves
And then that color I would be.
I wish that I was a rainbow
With the many colors of the sky
Or the single color of a star
Shimmering in the night.
And if again they would color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color that is me
Is the color that I could see.

Color of Change
Red is the color of passion
the color of love
the color of hate
the color of anger
and the color of regret
purple is the color of richness
of happiness
Black is the color of emptiness
Of shame
and of sadness
where is the color of change
Is it between the red and black?
or between the purple and black?
somewhere between the happiness and emptiness
somewhere between the love and the sadness
i believe change is orange
straying away from the dark colors leading towards the red and purple

My Mysterious Flower
Fragrant -Mauve, Purple - Flower
Violet my best flower
You make me at ease you give me Power
Lavender Flower - Mysterious Flower
what a relaxing scent! There is No More Stress
a field of Lavender thwarts a deep Sadness
You're my balm - you soothe my annoyance
Just one deep breath- I go into a trance
your enigmatic color, make me pensive
meditiative
contemplative,
introspective,
reflective.
I wonder the Lavender scenery
I dive
no north, no south, no east, no west
I am your faithful captive.

Dark Faery on Halloween
I clothe myself in darkness
I picked blackness for its starkness
And many a spidery metaphor
Being mysterious isn't a chore
When I embody night
The only color is my face
Flaming billows of hair keeping pace
With screams and whispers calling ''scary''
Watch your back, do be wary
I can give a fright
Expression is everything
Making scary spirit sing
With a stare cold as space
Freezing you into your place
Turn out the light
Halloween, the holiday
Of things that scream and things that play
And of course, things that scare
Give you chills beyond compare
Halloween, take flight

A Blank Sheet
pick the crayons
and color
those empty spaces
on the clean
sheet of paper
beside you
under your
lamp shade
tonight
draw the rainbows
in your mountains
sprinkle it with rain
make the clouds
blue and fill the
rivers with the color
of its waters
sing a tune
give your world
a beautiful sound
spray some perfume
on that paper
to give your world
the scent of musk
and muffin

Silly; Short: Purple
What can I write about purple, the color?
Over that above question I shall mull …. or
just make some stuff up you might just believe.
Let's see what Brian has up his sleeve.
Purple was the seventh color discovered by man.
It's the most often used color in a Chinese fan.
When someone acts silly, we say they are 'acting purple'.
The only word it rhymes with is the archaic word snurple.
Purple was my hair color when I was born.
That that is true, my oldest brother has sworn.
In England they spell purpple with one, two, three p's.
A billion years ago it was the color of all the tree leaves.
You'll forgive me (I hope) for acting purple today.
Now that I'm retired it is one of the way……..
zi get along ….. without too much knowledge.
It may be one big reason ….. I was kicked out of college! !

My beautiful diamond princess
Ho my beautiful diamond princess! Ho my beautiful diamond princess! ! Ho my beautiful diamond princess! ! ! calling you three times make my head swell A princess should come from a royal family A princess should have a royal blood flowing through her vain A princess is recognized in the mist of great multitude as a royal person A princess should have wealth and influence rubbed on her by her father A princess is noticed afar as a royal personality worthy of honor in which i have given to you personally as somebody of great value in my life A title i have given to you from the dept of my heart When i look into your eyes what i see is a diamond of special value calling for attention Who else will i give my attention if not you, you are the only sugar in my tea The only honey in my life You are the reason why i am alive You are the reason for my survival You gave hope to the hopeless while others have lost hope in me, you kept my hope burning while other peoples dream were truncated along the way, you kept my dreams flying higher and higher You gave my dreams an accelerated step to victory, victory is sure, victory at last While darkness comes like a scary monster frighten me at night, you made a light in that scary path for my dreams to come true If i have a wings i will fly, If i have a wings i will fly, long long way far away over the blue sea, over the hilltop, over the mountain where i will be waiting for you Ho my beautiful diamond princess here i bow for you to show my heart felt appreciation Thank you for standing by me through tick and thin Thank you very much

My Purple Orchid
Once the maturity of balmy embrace is in purple
Smile is still too sweet though you have no dimples
Love from you is soul and mind refinement
Hand-touch can be more than beatific achievement
My purple orchid makes me the luckiest girl ever
Twice the royal flower is delicate some time longer
My purple orchid charms me some way meaningfully
Creating love for someone no more logically
Someday later I will find my finest gentleman
Complete with a bouquet of purple orchids in his hand
A rare and magnificent flower preserves true love
A light color purple, happiness I won't get off

If Purple Could Heal You
If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you
If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights
If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe
Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you

The Logic Of Poetry Has a Color And Shape Of Its Own
THE LOGIC OF POETRY HAS A COLOR AND SHAPE OF ITS OWN
The logic of poetry has a color and shape of its own
Its clear silences ring deeply as paradox confounded into meaning
How many others have made Beauty of words
And still are sung of only by the Silence?
How these days go by longing to remain alive
Because life itself bears within it the best of these most poignant dying moments?
Our doom is certain and our final word never to be clearly heard
But we as we are can be in this world for our time with all its beauty as us-
There is no more wonder than this God gives-
We look out and up each day as a child may still look for its first light above-
No one knows where the darkness ends and even if it is darkness at all
We say the word ‘God’ and all we know and mean is that our greatest meaning must be beyond us – if it is to be at all
‘God’ we say ‘God’
And who are we and what are we
if not a part too of this Beauty somehow greater than we can ourselves ever really hold on to?

Gumball
Do you ever
Wonder why?
Silence sits
Coiled and posied
Its apearence
Appears unexpectant
The dark shape it has
Is Easly recognizable
Watching the blades of grass
Winds sweeping them......
Their texture moves eneven
They have talked before
A gumball, bought from machine on the street
The choice received was red
Its color painted on my lips
Facinating me of your thoughts
Or finger tips..........

In The Air
Like fresh blossoming flowers on a spring day.
Her scent is in the air.
Like the smell of rain right before it pours down.
Her scent is in the air.
Like the aroma of a hot apple pie cooling on the window seal.
Her scent is in air.
I try to cover my nose with my shirt
but her scent seeps right through it.
It is in the air.
I try fanning it away
but the more I fan the stronger her scent lofts in the air.
I decide not to fight it anymore and I inhale her scent.
It first suffocates me but then it sustains me.
To me her scent is love and it is
In the air.
Perhaps the old monks were right when they tried to root love out; perhaps the poets are right when they try to water it. It is a blood-red flower, with the color of sin; but there is always the scent of a god about it.

The Color of My Heart...(a song)
The color of my heart...
Without you it's black
The color of my heart...
With you it's red
Is it love?
The color of my heart...
When it's broken
It's purple
With you it's red
Is it love?
(chorus)
The color
Color
The color of my heart...
The feeling of you
Makes it warm
The color of my heart...
Oh oh oh
The color of my heart...
When it's warm, it's pink
The color of my heart...
When it's sad, it's blue
(chorus)
The color of my heart...
Is the emotions with you
The color of my heart...
Makes me feel like new, oh oh oh
Is it love?
(chorus) x2
(The color of my heart...oh oh oh)

Red.
Red, the color of love romance
The color of our hearts.
Red, the color of blood,
My blood coming from where you stabbed me with your dagger.
Red, the color of your evil vile face.
After you realized what you’ve done.
Red, the color on the floor.
From my blood to yours.
