It Is Strange
i find the coming days strange
filled with your silence and i am here feeling so abandoned
pampered once by your words of concern
like i am always showered by your rain
when i was once a vast dryland
with grasses all wilting and animals moving away
searching for water,
it is indeed strange when a day goes away without any word from you
when the night comes as black as tar
and as lonely as a house without its children
moving out to another place carrying with them their
conversations and laughter
and oh even the usual noise
those senseless ones that i begin to miss
because of their absence
i miss you and i will be missing you more for the coming empty days
of my life
i am like a window now always open as
the strong winds come and scatter everything that i have written
the night comes like an empty space of darkness where i surrender
without any word
i sleep and then wake up for another day
when the light stabs my face
piercing my heart
this time every change that comes
is pain
because you are not here anymore and without you
i will be always alone
feeling so abandoned like the shell without its flesh
like the skull without a face

Eye To Eye

Standing in your doorway
Nothing much to see
Remember conversations
Between you and me
Forgot about the feeling
Forgot about the pain
Forgot about the hopeful nights
Calling again
Just a victim of the moment-
Nobody's fault, nobody fooled
Ah, it's funny how things seem to slip away
From me and you...so I keep going
From eye to eye
Face to face
Moving oh so fast
Never getting any place
I keep going
Eye to eye
And face to face
Will I ever find you, will I ever find you?
Looking in a window
Nothing much to do
Almost feeling humble
Needing you
Most of my embraces
Don't hold on so tight
But after all, if I don't try
What will feel right?
Yes, it has to make me wonder-
I'm so alone and yet so free
Ah, it's funny how things seem to slip away
From you and me - still I keep going
From eye to eye
Face to face
Moving oh so fast
Never getting any place
I keep going
Eye to eye
And face to face
Will I ever find you, will I ever find you

I Do Not Correct Mistakes … I Play
it so happens that
i post a poem with some errors
not of feeling but of
grammatical lapses and she is afraid
that people may begin to belittle me for such
unforgivable simplicities of
mistakes unaccounted
but i tell her even beforehand that i am
always unapologetic
even unkind
or indifferent
i am a person who does not go back
to review
and correct errors
i laugh at them knowing that they have deceived
me into such a corruption
somehow life is like that
we rush to get out of a door only
to find the wrong key in our hand
and we are having a hard time
opening that
which we closed
and we cannot enter anymore
except when when we break the door &
open it forcefully
with a hammer
the noise is painful
having to break in
your own room with locks forced open
like an invasion of your own
body destroying it
breaking your heart or
bones
tearing your skins apart
or slicing some flesh
because you made a mistake
i like lapses,
errors are not supposed to be
minded at
life is like that
no crying for what is there already
sometimes
i don't even solve puzzles
i let them be their own problems
as i sit on the sands
watching the sun
set
feeling the cool winds when the
world starts to lose
its light
and surrender all its arms
to the power of
darkness
and when it gets too dark
i begin to play again
like a child left by mother
abandoned
by father
under the moon under the rain
and all alone.
i like it when i listen
to the bliss of my own wild
laughter

House for Sale
I stood in the midst of the empty house,
It was silent, empty, and bare,
gone was the laughter the tears and the life,
and the family that once lived there.
I stood there observing, to try to revive
the memories this house had to share,
the secrets, excitement, unhappiness too,
these feelings so willing to bear.
I heard children playing and lapping up life,
I heard adults talking and scolding,
This house bore it all with its solid repose,
and accepted with wisdom beholding.
I stood in the midst of the empty house,
with a feeling of sadness around,
abandoned and empty, a lonely shell,
for the place never uttered a sound,
it was silent and bare, where the rooms had been stripped
and the furniture taken away,
the paint had been scratched and the floor left unwashed
when the house was abandoned that day.
The ghosts from its past walk through each lonely room,
and I sigh as I button my coat,
I slam the front door with an echoing bang
and a lump seems to lodge in my throat-
for there on the green lawn for all eyes to see
with dark letters outstanding on pale
is a board standing taut in the cold winter sun
with the large, lonely wording- "For Sale"

In Absence
WAKE, do you wake in the dark in the strange far place,
Window and door not set like the ones we knew,
Leaning your face through the dark for another face,
Stretching your arms to the arms that are far from you,
Even as I, through the depth of this darkness, do?
Sleep, do you sleep in the house in the lonely land?
In the lonely room do you hear no steps draw near?
Do you miss in the darkness the hand that implores your hand,
See through the darkness your last dream disappear,
And weep, as I weep, in the outer darkness here?
Dream, do you dream? Nay, never a dream will stay,
Never a phantom is fond, or a vision kind.
Your dreams elude you and fly through the dark my way,
My dreams fly forth to you whom they may not find;
And we in the darkness weep, we weep and are left behind.

Until I get Over you
So many dreams inside my mind
That I pray it will come true
I have been searching, deep down on my soul
In a lonely river I have found
Like an empty shell longing for love
The one thing that I try to hold on too
I woke today thinking of you
Miserably starring the empty sky
The sun won’t shine since you went away
Seems like rain pouring everyday
Every night I sit by my window
Softly speaking on gust of wind
Faded shadow on obscure nights
That painted the sorrow of life
Wearing my mask on silence
Pretending it would be alright
A grief of a smile you will see in my eyes
Such a pity face that reflects on me
Lonely I am don’t look at me
Searching for love, where can I find.
Just a litter of tears to fill the emptiness
A ton of laughter to ease the pain
A half way of distance just to feel you
Until I get over you.

Love me Not Anymore
you have seen the prince in me
descending from the sun riding on the clouds
and you have loved me
we meet in your dreams and make love like we are true lovers
in haze in specks of light you touched my face and body
and then i leave you empty handed with nothing but memories
and you cried you miss me
love me not anymore for i cannot be with you
what do you expect about air and fantasy?
what can absence do to you except to make you as lonely
as a dripping water from the walls that divide us
in your next dream i shall come as a villain
in a black robe and i shall wear the face of evil
and i shall give you fear and hate
and you shall not long for me anymore
i have loved you too
but things don't just fit
for both of us
in strange worlds so different and apart
love me not anymore, for you cannot be mine
i go, but i shall not forget, you must
i am the absence
in the field of your love and longing
i am as useless as a sand dripping from your fingers.

These Are The Days
Motel sitting in the dark
Empty room like an empty heart
Love will start but they never stay
They don't look back as they drive away
Maybe I
Fix this broken head light
Feeling the cracks and pain arise
And maybe love will stop here tonite
And if she knocks on my door
i'll give her the key
Just one look in her eyes and i know i'll be
Everything that she sees in me
More than i ever thought i could be but
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it
These are the days
Gotta use this lonely time
To change the picture in my frame of mind
Outside the window theres a sunny day
I wanna feel it on my face
You and I
Are out looking for the same thing
And these walls of wondering
Waiting for someone to share this feeling
And if she knocks on my door
i'll give her the key
Just one look in her eyes and i know i'll be
Everything that she sees in me
More than i ever thought i could be but
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it
These are the days
These are the days between your hopes and fears
These are the moments that are still locked here
There still inside even if she will not hear
Like it or not this is what i got
Ohhh God
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between and
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way (yeah)
But for now i'm gonna have to face it cause
These are the days
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it

Welcome Stranger To Another World
it is almost dark when i arrive
at this place,
beside the cemented road
a garden of wilting flowers
petals are filled with dust
the trees along the way
towards a bungalow
are shedding off leaves,
sonorous, the place is getting
strange to me with its own
kind of quiet
the door of the house is half open
the swing on the side is not moving
the air is strong
and leaves begin to be flown away
i enter the door
dusting my shoes on the carpet
scarlet in hues
light is filtered by dark green curtains
i remain standing
and you are there waiting
for this final talk
it is strange for i feel
that i do not belong to this place
anymore
i am taking away all my stories
and a book of poems
there is only one thing
i like to say to you
we make an agreement
there will be no more elaborations
no justifications for our past actions
nothing hurting or unkind
we are tired of the pain
i am leaving.

The Reasons
sometimes
tired of the buzzing of the word
he gives flesh to it
even wings
and so the bees
come
often
the words are empty like
a vacant room
or an abandoned
cottage in one of those
untamed forest
one can do
something as he does
after so many
experimentation
when words are just
wind or air or static space
he plants a tree
and leaves become
inhabitants
flowers arrive as buds
and butterflies
of variant colors
arrive as
colonies
must you remember
how the void is filled
with light and there was light
how the islands come
dotting the seas?
who likes a void, an empty space?
even God
dislikes it
we are here
because of that.

Slow Moving Sea
If you ever feel youll lose your dreams
Or your hope seems too far gone
Ill bring the distance to your door
You couldnt ask for any more
You were around when I needed a friend
You were the means you were the end
Youll be the one Ill turn to now
Theres gonna be some hard times coming down
Without you the world would be so crowded
Without you the moon would be so clouded
Without you I can be anyone
Anyone at all but myself
If ever your candle wont blow out
Or your sorrow seems so interrupted
Well Ill be the first to bring the darkness down
Ill be the silence at your side
Without you the music couldnt move me
The words would ring true
But the tune would feel so empty
Without you I can be anyone
Anyone at all but myself
But myself
Wish I was a slow moving sea
Moving away from the land so cautiously
Id find me an island to surround
Just like you did as I was feeling down
As I was feeling down
Without you the world would be so crowded
Without you the moon would be so clouded
Without you I can be anyone
Anyone at all but myself
Oh but myself
Wish I was a slow moving sea
Wish I was a slow moving sea
Love is like a slow moving sea
Keeping in touch with eternity
Wish I was a slow, slow, slow, slow moving sea
Love is like a slow moving sea

Tuning Into Something Wild

A: tuning into something wild
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: you're feeling something wild now!
R: hey precious, hey burning child
Time to tune to something wild
It's new, it's hot, it's all you're not
Don't turn back, it's all we've got
You're breathless, you're out of step
Time to learn just what is hip
If you think you're in a jumble
That's the way the cookie crumbles
A: tuning into something wild
Tuning into something
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
R: wilder and wilder
A; you can feel it coming!
R: well, maybe so-- we're in a mess
World gone wrong but don't forget
There's a groove that makes you wonder
How the hell they sample thunder
It's glorious, it's boom, boom, boom
Bless the noise that shakes the room
If you think we're getting milder
Brace yourself for something wilder
A: tuning into something wild
Tuning into something
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: hey yeah
R: brace yourself!
Brace yourself!
A: tuning into something wild
Tuning into something wild
Tuning into something wild
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face
You can feel it coming
Like a push in the back
Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!
A: like a comet from space
Like a slap in the face

Turning white into black
You're feeling something wild now!

I and Mother
I am feeling tired, lonely and uneasy
Even though I tried to keep y self very busy
I have grown to full manhood
Yet that gives me feeling of no good
Something is longed for and I badly miss
I wish some one should come and offer kiss
The one that was offered by mother on forehead
With the affection and love that was clearly read
How secured I had felt in her lap?
Even she was offering gentle slap
That I should not be hurt with more force
She was taking enough care of course
I wish for those days to come back
Today I have everything and nothing at stake
I feel those hands which were moving on my back
Getting me nice sleep with her smiles and approach very frank
Mt whole mouth is filled with word, mother”
I know no one can fill that position either
I wish to cry in her lap and relax
Reach with happiness and those scenes of climax
How those hands were giving me relief in curly hair?
How was she creating nice melody and whisper?
Those words still sing in my ears and provide music
These were the moments I would hardly forget as basis
How old or young you are in age
You always miss her in every page
You get little tears when her memory surfaces
You become impatient to find out all her traces
What could I say today about her?
Only miss her and cry little later
That only reduces my lovely feeing
Otherwise it mains inside and simply killing
It is good to miss all
But mother is supreme with her selfless call
How would not to miss her life long?
As she was always on your side even if went wrong

My emerald dreams
The rain falling down for whispering my silence
That silence breaking my emerald dreams.
And those clearview shields with rising bubbles and flutes of renaissance
The rain falling down onto our round stones, keeping our kisses,
Coming down onto petals....
Those petals more than yellow sun...
Those petals of the sweet lemon flower,
Blooming as doves that fly in clouds...
And those birds searching their freedom in the unlimited horizon...
Your eyes water, thinking of me
Allowing the door to be left open
While allowing viewing through the window from the inside....
Feeling the sun growing cooler,
Understanding your passion of flame.....
Trying to milk it - drink from it-deeply
Trying to feel its flow
Between your lips and my hair...
Moving the middle to the top,
self- fashioning moving to the bottom as well...
Feeling the blazing hot sun
And the light
As it waits within
And at the end the avid breath
Draining this light inside each other
Like the moon shining inside of the sun....
Hands passing of time
With your smile...
With dedication...
Is It Poetry? Yes, it is......

What you've done to me.
Time goes by too fast...
Remember when we used to play cops and robbers,
Acting like we were shooting Aliens,
Biking to the store,
Yeah those where the days.
But that was then..
Now everything has completely changed,
Becoming more distances,
Hanging out with your friends,
Doing stupid shit,
For a moment I stop and think.
I miss the old days when we were kids.
So innocent, no worries, or problems.
Now we barely even say two words to each other,
let alone hang out. The truth is I miss you..
I miss my big brother...my best friend. I miss the old you, and the car rides...
That lasted for hours. Driving around we had no destination. Only to get away from the house, just to be alone. Talking about everything from life, to personal experiences. All of our secrets came out to each other in those car rides. We were so open and free. I miss everything we used to be.
Now you're gone with HER...Forever, probably.
Just know I'll always be here for you when you come crawling back after she leaves you. You WERE my best friend and will always be my brother...
BUT, I do not forgive you nor will I ever forgive you for everything you have put me through.
Having me cry myself to sleep every night. Yeah, I bet you didn't know that.
You abandoned me, left me here to rot when you were out partying, and having fun. I thought you were different..But I guess not. When you choose weed over your own sister..is where I draw the line..that's when I gave up on you.

Just Another Empty Memory
Days we woke up together
and I held onto your hand
two lovers lying in the warm summer sand
with the smell of a passing rain in the air
thinking about the times of forever
that we would always share
And all those nights we sat outside
by the glimmering of a open fire
and would talk about our plan
in you I would always confide
my every thought of my only desire
But now all I seem to see
is just another empty memory
of everything that use to be
wondering about what we have become
A smile upon your face
a soul never lost out of place
shining like the morning sun
with moonbeams in your long brown hair
you would walk in harmony
always feeling free
was a time you saw everything in me
But now all you seem to see
is just another empty memory
of everything that use to be
wondering about what we have become
So you hide behind your tears
trying to forget those lonely years
lost inside your doubt and fears
watching it all come undone
while the time only slowly disappears
Still we both keep moving on
though our dreams are all gone
like words from some forgotten song
knowing beside each other
is where we both belong
But now all we seem to see
just another empty memory
of everything that use to be
wondering about what we have become

Every Day
Every day I see him coming
Every day he walks on by
Life used to be so plain and simple
Before he came into my life
Every night I keep on dreaming
Every night I take him home
We always go to bed together
I always wake up all alone
Chorus:
Oh its strange, so strange
What hes doing to me
Oh its strange so strange
Did this ever happen to you
The way it has happened to me
The way it just happened to me
Every day outside my window
Always minutes close to eight
I wish he stayed a little longer
But his bus is never late
Every night were dancing slowly
I play the music he adores
Like Sinatra then were talking
All important things for sure
Chorus:
Oh its strange so strange
What hes doing to me
Oh its strange so strange
Did this ever happen to you
The way it has happened to me
The way it just happened to me
Oh its strange so strange
What hes doing to me
Oh so strange real strange
Did this ever happen to you
The way it has happened to me
The way it just happened to me

That Little Pig
that pig you said
is a problem, in fact,
a very big problem and so when it asks to leave
you agree at once,
you are alone in your house
and for a time thinks that you do not have a headache anymore
that little pig
your pain in the ass keeps on coming back in your mind
always filling up that empty space
that you cannot take away even in that pigsty
at night you begin to think
someone shall catch that little pig and keep it
that pain in your ass shall become their
food, a tasty roasted little pig
that will always haunt your lonely mind.

What A Feeling
Nows the time when this will turn to fruit
All the poppies gonna push up through
And I can see the ground below
The places that I know, disappearing
And I can see the winter fade
I dont feel so afraid its clearing
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Life is only half way in our hands
Years have passed while I was making plans
And I could never find the words
I always felt absurd, and always outside
But now I know I shouldnt care
Theres a song already there
Waiting inside
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
And I can feel the crock unwind
The parts of me I tied are running
And all the birds are in my head
The laughter that was dead is coming
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
Oh, what a feeling
The laughter that was dead is coming
Oh, what a feeling
The laughter that was dead is coming

This House Is Empty Now
(costello/bacharach)
These rooms play tricks upon you
Remember when they were always filled with laughter
But now theyre quite deserted
They seem to just echo voices raised in anger
Maybe you will see my face
Reflected there on the pane
In the window up above for long
In broken home
Yet this house is empty now
Theres nothing I can do
To make you want to stay
So tell me how am I supposed to live without you
These walls were lined with pictures
Remember the glass we charged in celebration
But now I fill my life up
With all that I can to deaden this sensation
Do you recognize the face
Fixed in that fine silver frame
Were you really so unhappy there
You never said
So this house is empty now
Theres nothing I can do to make you want to stay
So tell me how am I supposed to live without you
Oh, if I could just become forgetful
When night seems endless
Does the extinguished candle care
About the darkness
Its funny how the memory
Will bring you so close then make you disappear
Meanwhile all our friends must choose
Who they will favour, who they will lose
Hang the garland high, or close the door
Or throw away the key
This house is empty now
Theres no one living here
You have to care about
This house is empty now
Theres nothing I can do
To make you want to stay
So tell me how am I supposed to live without you
This house is empty now
This house is empty now
Theres nothing I can do
This house is empty now
This house is empty now
