It Is Better That Way

it is better that way
you are too distant from me

that way
i look upon you as my only star

you burn
when you are too near me

i become nothing but your
creeping darkness

alone i shall extinguish
with this anguish

The Pyro Maniac

A pyro with a flame.
Just writing your name in the sand.
Time tics by and fire after fire does not end the desire.
It's passion.
It's love.
It's a child's laughter.
Nothing left untouched.
As he makes his mark.
Personal and distant.
He's lived it.
Through the the fires eyes.
He can't help it.
He just want to watch everything burn.
Burn, Burn, Burn.

He speak to the eternal flame.
And she rise from the ashes.
Back again just the same.
Glowing so bright, so hot.
So appealing he can not ever turn away.
A obsession everyday.
No he doesn't care.
His mind is most certainly else where.
He can't help it
He just wants to watch everything burn.
Burn, Burn, Burn.

As holy body it rises from the grave.
As a scientific miracle it saves.
Staving off the cold.
Turning something into nothing.
It's just so amazing.
Captivating.
A star studded glaze.
An everlasting stare into nowhere.
Exhilarating is the feeling he gets.
Ever single time.
He can't help it.
He just wants to watch everything burn.
Burn, Burn, Burn.

He's a maniac.
No doubt it.
Completely reckless to t.
But its his divinity.
His saving grace.
His ace.
And he has a constant need to play it.
Even if someone dies.
He's not worried about it.
It off to the next.
He can't help it.
He just wants to watch everything burn.
Burn, Burn, Burn.
Yeah just burn, burn, burn, oh burn.

Every Star Tells Its Own Lie

EVERY STAR TELLS ITS OWN LIE

Every star tells its own lie.
We see them in the sky
And dream of them
As distant lights
Wondrous other words,
Destinations we may one day
Arrive at.

Stars are fires
Gases and heat
Unbearable darkness and cold
Nothing human.

We look up and dream
But when we truly measure to see
We know
How dark the heavens are
And how deeply distant forever
From what we long to be.

Wonder....

wonder, everything i have
is wonder, every time i have
is supposedly wonder,
each time as i watch
a star, so lonely in the sky
swimming in that vast
space of darkness,
in an unmediated life,
i stumble, and curse
what stone is there,
muddy, i shall rise again,
like that lone star, so
distant, and yet i know,
so faithful and real

Well Done O Cruel Well Done - Original By Rabindranath Tagore

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

If I don't burn my incense
It doesn't emit fragrance
If I don't lit up my lamp
It gives no light in my camp

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

When I don't miss you so much
And life is so hard
Then your harmful touch becomes
Your sweetest reward

In fascination and shame
I can't see you so hard game
Please set afire my darkness
By thunderbolts of sadness

Well done O Cruel well done
Burn my heart please do burn

Old flame

The sun may go out at night
And the moon may go out this day
The earth may soon explode and be gone
Shattered in space and be dust again
Or specks of light
Death may rot this body
The soil may cover me
But this love I have for you
Flames still with anguish
And will not extinguish

If Only I Could

I traveled in haste down the luminous blue halls,
Of pleiade's wonderous seven star cluster,
With speeds more swifter than cosmic winds could muster.
I journeyed from Omega's red clouded heavens,
And saw orion's constellation of seven.
I played inside Andromeda's massive back yard,
And sped from spica to the far distant north star.
I flew the dipper to Arcturu's big orange,
And peered through speeding portals at hot giant blues,
and bright hues of blue from distant quasars afar.
I sped to myriads of lights in the dark night sky,
And winged my way awry, from star, to star, to star.

My Star Shines Bright

No matter how dark things seem around me, my star shines bright…

When there is only Darkness…and no light…

My star shines bright.

When I am out in the night…

My star shines bright.

When there is no sun, moon, or any other star in site.

My star…Shines bright.

Things in my life my not always be fair…

But I have my star and its Sparkling Glare

My Goal is clearly not in sight…

But I can find it, with my star that shines bright.

I can see the light

With my star that shines bright.

My star…

Turns the darkness of the night

Into the sparkling sight

Of the Glimmering Light! !

My star…

Shines bright…

Somewhere

somewhere you speak of a star
bigger
thirty times
than our star and you say
you have seen it from your
telescope
where you stand
how the star explodes
and then
gone, leaving just a space,
a patch of
black dot
in your eyes,

i do not wish to understand you further
with your calculations
about the risks, the dangers, the consequences
of what happens
in that distant sky

here i am in my daily cares, i remember
feeding corn to the chickens, or cleaning my car, or
frying my cues,
or simply sitting by the stair
and just merely looking at the passing butterfly
hovering
in the summer air

what do i know about distance?
what do i care about distant stars
how they explode and how
the space starts to become empty, and grow another star again?

what i know of is simple enough
i do not know you
anymore, and i think, i am about to explode
and i think
i may become empty like what you are telling me
about that space left by the exploding star

and i am afraid
i am the kind of person
in this place
of the universe
that does not know how to grow a star again
after an explosion

Sonnet. The lake and star

The mountain lake, o'ershadowed by the hills,
May still gaze heavenward on the evening star,
Whose distant light its dark recesses fills,
Though boundless distance must divide them far;
Still may the lake the star's bright image bear,
Still may the star, from its blue ether dome,
Shower down its silver beams across the gloom,
And light the wave that wanders darkly there.
Star of my life! thus do I turn to thee
Amid the shadows that above me roll;
Thus from thy distant sphere thou shinest on me;
Thus does thine image float upon my soul,
Through the wide space that must our lives dissever
Far as the lake and star, ah me! forever.

Try and don't let me grieve

Try and don't let me grieve. Come and try to extinguish
This wild onslaught of sadness that rumbles like mercury in Torricellian void.
Madness, try and forbid me to feel, come and try!
Do not let me rant on about you! We're alone-don't be shy.
Now, extinguish it, do! Only-hotter!

Lamp

You feed me oil and I continue to burn bright
You blow me out, and choose to taste the night

You stumble your way across my path
And if the winds lug me to the ground, you will feel my wrath.

When the darkness encloses all around you.
When your feet are tired of treading through rain, sleet and snow,
Out from the shadows, I emerge, a bright amber glow.

I've led many explorers, to many a distant shore
Been the center of your christmas decor
I've even brought you from the depths
Of unforgiving friends and shame
One thing that never wavers is my flame

I light up your evening
And warm you while you're dreaming
Many a romantic brunches and fine dines have I been invited to
And sat next to the finest of red wine.
I am a lamp of fine design
But the world has so much darkness now
If I burn, I won't be able to resign
It would
I am a lamp, that refuses to shine.

Just The Same

Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
One man was happy
One lived in sorrow
Overseer said theyll meet tomorrow
One man was wealthy
One had to borrow
Overseer said theyll meet tomorrow
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
Its just the same
Moons silver face
Dark shadows on the wall
Light playing games as evening falls
And when the sunshine
Cant warm your heart again
Soar with the starlight on the evening wind
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt really matter where you are
Theres a way
Even though your heart is broken
Now by the close
Of one door
Another opens
Leave your heat wide open
The door will open
Theres a light from afar
Like some distant star
It doesnt matter where you are
Its just the same
Its just the same
Its just the same
Its just the same

Finale

Across the sky a streak of light,
a shooting star, a meteor.
Against the darkness of the night,
a sight I’ve often seen before.
I sometimes wonder where they’ve been.
Before they’re caught by gravity
and forced to play their final scene
and burn out spectacularly.
Each one I’ve seen was similar
and yet unique in its own way
A meteor or shooting star.
In its last moments would display
its signature across the sky
A rather splendid way to die.

Just LIke The Star

Just like the star
The scent of twilight, a joy conceived by dawn
A warrior of passion, the Queen of thoughts
A distant life, by reality shunned
A distant goddess of unconscious comfort

Just like the star
A dirge de novo in daybreak
An angel from the night Zephyrus
A silent preacher of ease
A Lilly inscribed with my mournful ecstasies

Just like a star in my sky
Just like an angel of pain with my demon of ease
A goddess of dream, a reality of lovely fears
This will I knit, for supernova will I live to foil
Oh my “own” dear oblivious angelic star of impressive reality
