in God's horizon
after the performance
of the school play
the boy who plays
Prince
and the girl who plays
Cinderilla
all come to Mama and Papa
and they say
'how was it? '
it is like life, in Liao's
divine horizon
when the day is over
no matter how sad and rough
we all run to a set of arms
we are hugged
we are loved.

The little Kid
The little kid
Unaware of the social rules
Does whatever he likes
For him nothing is a rise and nothing is a fall
He does all
- The little kid -
Has an open mind
Lives with the rules of his own kind
Whenever he needs help
Does not ask but demand
If request does not work then with command
- The little kid -
Eating and sleeping are his foes
Mama and Papa are the friends of his foes
Papa diverts his mind
Mama makes him feed
Eating or sleeping is over
He forgives the mother and the father
- The little kid -
He gets up in the morning
Says to all 'good morning'
Looks at the toys that Mama cares and he plays
Looks at the shelves that Mama arranges
Remembers they were spread all over the floor last night
Brings back to the same orientation without wasting a minute
- The little Kid -
Its time for his play school
Mama struggles to get him ready
School dresses are bad
Forced dress up is sad
Somehow puts on the school shoes
Gets ready and goes
- The little Kid -
Comes back from school
Holds his toy gun and doll
Mama wants him to eat
Mama's success comes after a fight
- The little Kid -
Little away the little kid
All are concerned
All are bored
Struggle and fight gives happiness
Away the kid proves
- Thats the power of The little Kid -

Kyrie, mass in c. k 427, Mozart
Papa is dead.
He is following mama.
His coffin is white
And shiny
Very much like
That of mama
In kyrie
The soprano
Sings for papa
In the church
For his last
Day today.
All seems to be white.
Pure, o they were
Purely in love
When they were
Alive, they always
Quarrel, papa kicks
Mama and mama
Bites him in return
They seem not to
Endure each other’s
Presence and each
Would want to
Kill each other.
Mama died first
And papa takes
Her picture and
Keeps it in his
Pocket and he
(mind you)
cries all night
papa loved mama
mama loved papa
after all.
Listen to the song
Of kyrie
Amadeus Mozart
A hymn for the
Dead who cannot endure
Each other when
They were once alive.
Until now, it is something
That I cannot understand.
I listen to kyrie
The soprano taking us to the tip of the mountain
Her human voice
Topping my puzzlement of it all
Why in death, why after death,
We realize the person that we miss
When he is gone, we say we love him most.
Papa loved mama after all
We loved papa after all.

Tell Me Again
Tell me again papa,
Of how my life was taken, .
Tell me again papa of how reality was shaken.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my life ended.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my human instincts faded.
Tell me again papa,
Of how I took my true form.
tell me again papa,
About the blackness of the storm.
Tell me again mama,
Of how you teet sunk into my skin.
tell me again mama,
Of how I came to win.
Tell me again papa,
About the pain that gave me forever.
Tell me again pap,
Of how you made me so clever.
Tell me again mama,
Of all the time we have to share in our own empire.
tell me again mama,
Oh how I became a vampire.

Like a girl
Like a girl whose feet are bleeding and swollen
From walking a long,
Long distance to school
Like a girl who pants in pangs and pains
Because she works tirelessly
Doing this and that
You know these domestic chores.
Like a girl whose clitoris is protruding
Not because she is longing for the stick
But because someone has forced himself into her
Like a girl whose genitalia leak blood
Not because she is in 'time'
But because she has been raped
Like a girl who sings alone
In melancholia, a girl who cries alone
Because she remembers her dead parents
Who cries and curses AIDS
Like a girl who sits alone in the dunes
In secluded spaces and prays much
Because she has lost hope in life
Like a girl who sits in the staircase
And looks at the horizon and ponders over her burdens
Over her thousand predicaments
Like a girl who looks at the sky
At night, who counts stars hoping that one day
The One who created those amazing stars
Will answer her prayers
Like a girl who dances in the darkness
Who listens to the music to soothe the pains
Like a girl who wants no man
Because she believes men bring curses with them
Like a girl who plays alone
A young girl who plays alone in the yard
Like a girl who cannot go to school
Because she has to take care of her siblings
Like a girl who will survive no matter what
Who will continue achieving unachievable goals in life
Like a girl who has a soldiers’ courage

About Mama and Papa on Those Crucial Times...
the last day was crucial
it was excruciating,
i saw papa kicked mama
and mama fell down the
path
she was moving out from home
she could not take him anymore
everything was over
practically, , ,
the dogs barked
hating papa
they perhaps thought
he was a total stranger in
his own house
and they do not recognize
him as their
master anymore...
i walked away from home
on that crucial day
i did not want to know
what happened after
i heard papa died in
all pain
you told me that there was
that inevitable conclusion
that papa never loved mama
despite their five children
and 50 years...
i never believed you
i decided never to believe you
i believed that face in the mirror
half is papa's
the other half is mama's
how can there be two of them in me
if they never really loved each other?
they were sick and tired
those were the reasons
they forgot
that was the cause...

Big Ten Inch Record
Got me the strangest woman
Believe it, this chicks no sinch
When I wanna get her goin
Then I whip out my big ten inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
Last night I tried to tease her
I gave my love a little pinch
But she said now stop that jivin
Now whip out your big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
Ill cover her with kisses
And when were in a lovers clinch
She gets all excited
When she puts on my big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
My gal dont go smokin
And liquor just makes her flinch
Seems she dont go for nothin
cept for my big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues

Let The Wind Carry Me
Papas faith is people
Mama she believes in cleaning
Papas faith is in people
Mama shes always cleaning
Papa brought home the sugar
Mama taught me the deeper meaning
She dont like my kick pleat skirt
She dont like my eyelids painted green
She dont like me staying up late
In my high-heeled shoes
Living for that rocknroll dancing scene
Papa says leave the girl alone, mother
Shes looking like a movie queen
Mama thinks she spoilt me
Papa knows somehow he set me free
Mama thinks she spoilt me rotten
She blames herself
But papa he blesses me
Its a rough road to travel
Mama let go now
Its always called for me
Sometimes I get that feeling
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
I get that strong longing
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
But it passes like the summer
Im a wild seed again
Let the wind carry me

Papa Was A Rollin' Stone
it was the third of september
that day I'll always remember, yes I will
'cause that was the day that my daddy died
never had a chance to see him, no
never heard nothing but bad things about him
mama, I'm depending on you to tell me the truth
mama just hung her head and said
chorus
"papa was a rollin' stone
wherever he laid his hat was his home
and when he died
all he left us was alone"
(repeat)
hey, mama, is it true what they say
that papa never worked aday in his life
some bad talk going around sayin'
papa had three outside children
and another wife
that ain't right
heard some talk about papa and his storefront
preachin'
talkin' about saving souls and all the time
leachin'
and dealing in dirt
stealin' in the name of the Lord
but mama she just said
chorus
say I heard my papa was a jack of all trades
is that what papa sent to an early grave?
folks say papa would beg, borrow or steal just
to pay his bills
hey, mama, folks say papa was never much in thinkin'
spent most of his time chasin' women and drinkin'
but mother, I'm depending on you
to tell me the truth
but my mama she just said
chorus (2x)

The Last Cheaters Waltz
(sonny throckmorton)
She was going to pieces when he walked in the door
She had to see him she cant wait no more
Tonight shell be with him no matter the cost
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
And oooooooohh dont they play lonely
Oooooooohh dont they play sad
Oooooooohh three quarter only
See how he holds her
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
He tells her he loves her as the music plays on
He tells he loves her but someones at home
The ball games all over and she knows shes lost
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz
And oooooooohh dont they play lonely
Oooooooohh dont they play sad
Oooooooohh three quarter only
See how he holds her
As the band plays the last cheaters waltz

A poor Cobbler's courageous Son
The barefooted handsome boy who mends shoes on a filthy street corner.
Passers by; Some they whisper that he should join the film industry.
A Varsity girl stops; 'Hey! Prince you don't go to school nowadays? '
'No, My papa was paralyzed and I help him.' The boy said.
'I love you Prince.'
'Oh! What a beautiful sentence is that?
But I am scared Princess.
When my Papa was drunk
He used to play the Mandolin
And sings in the night.
Love has mesmerized wings
in the unrestricted serene sky
And fragile souls swim and drown
in the Milky way.'
* I dedicate this to an innocent Cobbler who vanished during the ethnic violence in Sri Lanka.

I used to go with my parents and loved it, I was in school plays, and I started reading plays before I started reading novels. I'll defend it to the hilt. When theatre is good it is fabulous.

That's All Right
Well that's all right mama,
That's all right for you.
Yeh that's all right mama,
Just anyway you do.
That's all right,
That's all right,
That's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.
Well mama she done told me,
Papa done told me too.
Son that gal you're fooling with,
She ain't no girl for you.
That's all right,
That's all right,
That's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.
I'm leaving town baby,
I'm leaving town for sure,
Then you won't be bothered
With me hanging round your door.
That's all right,
That's all right.
Yeh that's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.
Well that's all right mama,
Yeah that's all right for you.
That's all right mama,
Just anyway you do.
That's all right,
That's all right,
That's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.
Dee dee dee dee dee dee,
Da da dee dee dee,
Da da dee dee dee,
I need your loving.
That's all right.
Well that's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.
Yeh that's all right my mama,
Anyway you do.

Bahama Mama
Bahama, bahama mama
Got the biggest house in town bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
But her troubles getting down bahama mama
She has six daughters
And not one of them is married yet
And shes looking high and low
And none of them plays ever hard to get
So if youre lonesome go there go
Bahama, bahama mama
You should all be looking for bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
And Im sure you will adore bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
Got the biggest house in town bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
But her troubles getting down bahama mama
Youll meet her daughters
They ll be treatin you to honeycake
Theyll be sweet and nice to you
And maybe there is one youd like to take
Well then youll know just what to do
Bahama, bahama mama
She is really in a fix bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
Being stuck with all them six bahama mama
Whats the matter with men today
Six beautiful roses
And nobody to pluck them
Its a crying shame
Bahama, bahama mama
Got the biggest house in town bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
But her troubles getting down bahama mama
The thing is each of them looks
Like a gorgeous moviequeen
Every one a perfect find
And if a man refused that temptin scene
He simply cant make up his mind
Bahama, bahama mama
Got the biggest house in town bahama mama
Bahama, bahama mama
But her troubles getting down bahama mama

The Mama In You
when i go berserk
always the mama in you is there
to save
my shattered pieces
when time get rough
there is the mama in you that calms down
those that are violent
when i go crazy over matters
there is the mama in you that becomes
my sanity pills
i am sleepy, where is papa anyway?
p.s.
baduy ba?

Beloved parents
all the while, they both enjoy, all the time they rejoice
in every minute they always think, all the way everything
will be fined
now you come, in every lines they remember, for every
day they want it to be, in your side, they always pray, that
you will always be okey
rain my go, sun will stay where in their lap you will be carried
wondering always that you will be happy, for a mother and
father you will always will stay
as you grow, they waited you that, you will be free, in harm
in danger they watch every minutes of the day, for mama
and papa, your so dear to thee
in every meals they hold you so tight, even spoiled food, they
eat so bright, as you laugh, makes them so crazy for a baby,
a child likes you is so dear to see
what wonder does they brings, that all the way, we brings, is
nothing but a dream, oh mama and papa your so great, such
a lovely heart you hold that makes me glad
hold me mama, guide me papa, the road is dark that only you
can light, make my heart so empty, that only you can full, for
in my life knows not the meaning of love
thank you... bless me... light me in the wisdom that i can't see,
live me, even my heart is not all that makes me free, but i
know that you will not leave me
for you are my dear mama and papa of my heart......who always
see my being me
(dedicated this poem to our dear parents)

A Mixed Breed
I have the blood of a white man,
My papa's blood that is.
I have the blood of a black woman,
My mama's blood that is.
And so my blood is a mixture
Of blood that's hers and his.
It courses through my veins each day
With its color imbed.
And every time I have cut myself
The color of it's red.
Can't tell which is my papa's
Or mama's that I see?
Only thing I really see
Is it doesn't matter to me.
I've been loved by black and white.
I've been hated too.
Sometimes at night while I'm in bed
I wonder when I'm through
Will I be judged by the color of my skin
Which is neither black nor white?
Or the blood that gave to me my life
as I tried to do everything right?

Here Only Image Plays Like Puppet!
Diving deep into own,
eyes learn to look into far,
beyond the horizon into cosmos,
matter from several galaxies,
light from several stars,
filtered by earth and air
keep you alive here,
several celestial bodies,
working silently to fill breath in your life,
look your form is in cosmos,
here only image plays like puppet,
for the divine unknown, working!

Beautiful Girl Vavroovahana Patra
A sweet silvery silent Beauty Girl passes on the path;
Enjoying the beauty of Nature derives peace, mirth.
Loves all companions delightfully;
Loves parents devotionally.
Honey girl plays with companions peacefully;
Mind derives perennial peace gaily.
The Beauty of the Girl attracts neighbours;
Mind enchants with peace, pleasure.
Sweet lovely girl plays among companions gaily;
Provides peace to creatures.
Lovely girl is peaceful;
Her mind is delightful.
The girl prays Goddess Mangala in morn;
Mind derives peace in dawn.
She is a village Deity;
Beholding, all derive gaiety.
Innocent girl provides peace;
Praying Goddess Divine Bliss.
The girl plays on the river;
Derives perennial peace pleasure.
