i know it is wrong to stick to a job
that does not please me anymore
it will be entirely tiresome
feeling like a rubber bond stretched to its maximum limit
until it snaps out
you told me, it is a waste of my lifetime
like you
a bright star in the heavens now
i could have changed my course
and went out from that sinking boat
you are laughing
you have sacrificed a lot
you swam into that ocean of uncertainty
until you found your destiny
i am not less courageous than you
i once dropped myself from that boat
left my comfort zone
and too, found my own kind of joy
been there, as i want to say
look! i can't leap now,
i have learned and savored joy and it is not giving me enough
it has become an irrelevant state
i am steady now, pain and joy do not have any effect at all
i am moving but not changing any course
i know it cannot change me
i am in a state of numbness
i do not know what pleases me
and i cannot feel that usual pain anymore
there is no fear neither calm
and i am figuring out what i really am
this could be nirvana, i don't know.

i do not wish to arrive on the same boat

A Reality
If today in your feeling tone I am Saint
then tomorrow if your feelings change
I can then be transformed into Satan.
If I am steady most and not either
then clearly then Reality for me is the same
and your feelings about me must be in disconnect
and not rooted in who I really am.
If Mind changes its stripes
and truth today can become tomorrow false
how then is Mind rooted in Reality, which we agree
undergoes no change.
If spirit too can vacillate from exaltation to low depression
what is then steady most in our universe?
If all of the elements in our periodic table are in constant flux
losing and gaining electrons
and existing one minute but not the next
what then is the nature of any Unchanging Reality?
Clearly then all is in flux and who I am today may not be
who I will be tomorrow.
Good news this and bad news too, because how can I predict
the who I will be and if I will like Who Now better than Who Tomorrow?
Some question then if all things change, then what then is doing the changing; they point to Consciousness. If things change who is tracking steady-state all that changes and recording it? The self? Is Self and Consciousness that steady state beneath all things changing? Or do they too change from time to time?
Puzzling this.
So when one is told 'Get in touch with Reality' what the hell could that possibly mean-yours, mine today, mine tomorrow, yours now, or yours which will will surely change tomorrow too?

Life is rough,
People might hate,
I rather die then hear others talk about me like I wasn't there to hear them say it,
Why is that every where I go I feel pain, agony, sorrow,
I can't help but think about cutting myself let out all the pain I feel inside of me,

i am drawing
this situation, this is the boat, it has four arms spreading
on the wide face of the sea
these arms shall caress
and make love with its bounty
some waters sound a slush
like the sand announcing your safe and soft arrival
the boat has eyes too
just like us inside it
its gaze spreading the vision of where we are going
the boat looks upon us with envy
we are the lovers inside its mouth
the boat slides on calm seas
this peaceful twilight
