I Leave To Give You Sweet Memories

there is not enough time.
it fell out of me like some
water from my fingers from the faucet
that i want to wash my face
i get wet and rub my face with
a white towel
and open my eyes and see for once
myself, this man, abandoned by time
so quickly
like yesterday and today
and tomorrow
all mixed in a second
white locks of hair
bony cheeks, and
serious eyes, looking through
the mirror
wanting to find if there is yet
another me
that i can live with
for another more time
to be reborn
and use the youth
that i have wasted
without much thought.
i see, i am melting,
i see, i am air.

Every Time I Face the Mirror

Every time I face that mirror
I see the face
The face of fear

Every time I face that mirror
I hear those words
I should have said

Every time I face that mirror
I see the eyes
The eyes filled with tears

Every time I face that mirror
I see the girl
The girl that is ashamed

Every time I face the mirror
I see the pain
The pain she faces every day

Every time I face that mirror

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong

Yesterday I hate things that hurt me
Today I shall change things under my control
Tomorrow I shall do more that I can envisioned

Yesterday I had past my youth era
Today I am wiser than yesterday
Tomorrow I will become a legend because I dare to dream big

Happy are those whom appreciated what yesterday had brought
Happy are those whom plan for things to do today
For tomorrow what might bring us is eternal happiness and peace

Yesterday Time flies so fast without realising we are already dead
Today Wasting our time is wasting our life
Tomorrow Time is valueless and priceless

Let yesterday remind me of the sweet memories of yester years
Let today be my reminder of treasuring our life
For tomorrow may bring uncertainty onto our life

So let us treasure and value our time
Time becomes priceless when we take things for granted
Time becomes meaningless when we face our final moment of our dead

Time becomes tomorrow heaven when we treasure the present moment.

Showing The True Color

when i wake up this early morning
she was not already beside me.

i do not want to rise and fold the blanket
and go somewhere else.

or read the papers, or sip coffee, there is
this laziness that infects my bones, a disease

of meaning, another slow day, the routine is
eating me, and i behave

in a manner that i am like a lame duck being
aimed at by all the bystanders

i am opening my eyes, and the ceiling is off
white, it has been that way ever since i got married,

why did i leave it that way? i have the money to have
it painted pure white, like a very clean slate where

i can write what i must mean, but i didn't, i let things
that way they are from the beginning, and perhaps

they will still be at the end. This is what i do next,
always always i do this: i rise from my bed, go to my

circular mirror and look at my face, they also do it,
and then i touch my cheeks and chin, feeling the roughness

of the beard, how they have grown long and so untidy,
the razor is ready, and the soap and water, but this time

i will do what i cannot do the other days of my life,
i will not trim the unruly ones, i will not wash my face,

i may slap myself, and then i give the mirror the grin
of the man that is used to all these doubts and shame.

i will tell it, i am now myself. And then i will the bathroom
another tune for my whistle, nobody, nobody but me.

Roses On White Lace

I saw you in your wedding gown
The prettiest dress
I came into the room that night
And made such a mess
In my own way, I lovingly kiss the bride
With your ring in your hand
Your eyes and your mouth open wide
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
So dead upon the bed
You hurt me in the deepest way
I'm crippled inside
I took your evil skin away
It's all cut and dried
I saw you tonight and carefully took your hand
With some smears on my cheeks
I knew that you would understand
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
So dead upon the bed, still searching for your head
They're never gonna find your face
It's hidden away
I found a very special place where you used to play
In my own way, I lovingly kiss the bride
With your ring in your hand
Your eyes and your mouth open wide
In my eyes
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
They won't wash away
In my mind they're roses on white lace
Straight from the heart
Blood drops look like roses on white lace
Crimson and sweet, stained on the sheet
Roses on white lace, pretty in red, dripping and wet
Roses on white lace, spilled on the walls, dark in the hall

That Face

I see a face that face is mine
The mirror marks the changing time
Her face Ill never see again
And mine will never be the same
That face was fine only yesterday
My problems seemed so far away
Reflections I see of myself
As in sickness as in health
As she left as for worse
No chance to re-rehearse
Try to forget try not to see
Who is that face looking at me
Reflections of yesterday
If only I could make you stay
One day past is like a year
She wouldnt say what made her leave
I didnt think shed ever go
And why she did Ill never know
I wish I could return and see
But now its just a memory
Reflections of yesterday
Reflections of yesterday
I see a face that face is mine
The mirror marks the changing time
Her face Ill never see again
And mine will never be the same
Reflections of yesterday
Reflections of yesterday

The Sands Of Time

From the beginning of this own world,
man has shed a million tears.
Tears for the pain they've had
in their lives and for all the
wasted years.
But the saddest tears that
ever fell, fell not from
just any man's eyes. But
they were shed by my Savior
and they stained The Sands Of Time.
And as the Father looked upon His
Son, He had to turn His face away.
And as Jesus hung upon that cross,
He gave His all for us that day.
And as the tears ran down His face,
as He cried, mixed with the blood
that flowed from His side. Oh what
a sacrifice of love and it stained
The Sands Of Time.
Oh yes it stained The Sands Of Time.
It stained The Sands Of Time.
The blood that was shed for a lost
and dying world, oh yes it stained
The Sands Of Time, of time.

Lullaby

(duncan)
I give you stars and sunshine
A rainbow at your feet each time you rise
So dry your eyes
The house of yesterday is crumblin at my feet
But I dont mind, I had my time
I am but yesterday
And you my child, tomorrow
Theres nothing I can give you
For you have more than me
You are the truth within your youth
I watch you dance and playing
The little prince of all that you survey
Each night, each day
I am the good old days,
And you my child, tomorrow
If I have any future
It is within your eyes
Each time you smile
My child, my child
The hand of life will rock you
I brought you forth
And then my task was through
I give to you
This wondrous view
I am but yesterday
And you my child, tomorrow
And you my child, tomorrow
And you my child, tomorrow

Will You

See your sittin' next to the window in the bedroom
She breaks down, breaks down
Cryin' over somethin' and staring into nothing
Afraid now, hate now
Wanting, Needing, Haunting, its killing me
Thank you what has happened to live the life like that man
And I'll break down, its fake now
(chorus)
Will You, Will You love me tomorrow
So will you will you stay with me today
Fade in and out of reasons to fight the way shes feeling she breaks down, breaks down
Going through the motions and holding onto hopes and the dreams now, somehow
Shaken, Mistaken, Forsaken its killing me
Wishing you could change but things always been this way
If you leave now i'll drown
(chorus)
Will you , Will you love me tomorrow
So will you will you remember yesterday
Yesterday x4
This time im sorry x2
This time This time Im sorry
For This time, this time, this time Im sorry
This time im sorry
(chorus)
Will you, Will you love me tomorrow
So will you will you remember yesterday
Will you x6
So will you
Will you x6

More Today Than Yesterday

I dont remember what day it was
I didnt notice what time it was
All I know is that I fell in love with you
And if all my dreams come true
Ill be spending time with you
Every days a new day in love with you
With each day comes a new way of loving you
Every time I kiss your lips my mind starts to wonder
And if all my dreams come true
Ill be spending time with you
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But not as much as tomorrow
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But darling not as much as tomorrow
Tommorrow makes each springtime just a day away
Cupid we dont need you now be on your way
I thank the lord for love like ours that grows ever stronger
And I always will be true
Ill be spending time with you
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But not as much as tomorrow
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But darling not as much as tomorrow
Every days a new day, every time I love ya
Every times a new way, every time I love ya...
Very days a new day, every time I love ya
Every times a new way, every time I love ya...
Every time I love ya...

I will wear myself in the beauty of you

I wear myself in the beauty of spring
the white flowers put on my skin
the rose petals paint my cheeks
the red of sunset kisses my lips
I wash my face in the crystal water of stream
I wear myself in the beauty of my dreams
the green hopes put into my eyes
the red of my heart kisses my soul
I wash my face among drops of my tears
I will wear myself in all beauty of this world
and come to your heart
as spring
as summer
as autumn
as winter
as your wish
I will wash my face in your tears
I will wear myself in the beauty of you

Time And Its Daughter

Time and its Daughter
I love your face and your face loves itself
For its perfect nose, green eyes and rosy lips
And your fragrance has a Narcissistic allure.

The way you walk pavements adore you
rain shies away as not to make your hair wet
I love your face and your face loves itself.

When you cross the street car horn blears
All by themselves and white cars turn pink
And your fragrance has a Narcissistic allure

Sun doesn´t burn your skin, makes it golden.
Till, one day, the mirror tells of a wrinkle, and
you know years are ganging up on you.

You only enemy is time it waits in the wings.
As furrows settle on your forehead.
I love you face, your face doesn´t love itself

Car horn doesn´t blare anymore, get off
The road you lazy old woman, they honker
Your fragrance of youth has lost its allure

We Live On Borrowed Time

WE LIVE ON BORROWED TIME
I never thought there could be a love like yours and mine
I never dreamed that I would see the day that I would find
A love that feels so right, but here we are tonight
And now the only thing we really need is time
We live on borrowed time
No one can be sure when the loan will finally come due
But I'm loving all of mine, I know what time is for,
I've borrowed it so I can spend it all right here with you
There was a time when I believed that life held guarantees
There was a time when I was sure my future was secure,
But life had other plans, the future's in God's hands
And knowing that just makes me love you even more
We live on borrowed time
Yesterday is past, tomorrow seems a million miles away
But I promise you that I'm gonna make love last
By living every moment, every hour, every day
Now we may have a year, or we may have a lifetime,
No one can be certain what the future will allow,
But you and I are here, and this time is the right time
'Cause one thing that I know is that we have each other now, and now,
And we live on borrowed time
Let's celebrate and sing as we walk bravely into the unknown
'Cause we're gonna be just fine, whatever life may bring,
We'll face it all together and we'll never be alone
We'll face it all together and we'll never be alone

Mirror Mirror....!

Mirror Mirror on the wall
Why you show me the face of this girl
Mirror Mirror on the wall
Dont you know that she is no more...!

When I shave there she is
Peeking over my shoulder
Starry eyes open wide
Smiling smiling.... that cheeky smile

Washing my face I can see
Glancing through my fingers
There she is mocking at me
Laughing laughing.... her funny laugh

About to leave combing hair
She is there behind me
Little dainty head of hers
Resting resting.... on my shoulder

Teary eyes about to cry
Half closed into a line
Pleading pleading....pleading with me
Please please please do not go....!
Please please please do not go....!

Mirror Mirror on the wall
Why you show me the face of this girl
Mirror Mirror on the wall
Dont you know that she is no more...!

Everytime I See Your Face

I was looking everywhere to find you
By and by, my intentions were good
But I know I don't watch where I'm walking
When I know I should
If the nighttime turns into day before I say what I mean
God damn all these obstacles before me, yeah
Every time I see your face, it's like Heaven opens up her gates
And I fall behind, I just close my eyes, I just close my eyes
If the quicksand of love and deception
Finds a way to come between you and me
Don't fret, I'm gonna cut through the darkness and set us free, yeah
And if you wanna just lay with me darlin, let the mystery silently speak
Take my tongue, take my lungs if you want, I'll even try not to breathe, yeah
Every time I see your face, something overwhelms my heart with grace
And I fall behind, I just close my eyes I just close my eyes
Every time I see your face
I know you are the one (I was looking everywhere to find you)
I know you're more than wonderful
I know you are the one
Every time I see your face, it's like Heaven opens up her gates
And I fall behind, I just close my eyes, I just close my eyes
Every time I see your face, something overwhelms my heart with grace
And I fall behind, I just close my eyes, I just close my eyes
Yeah, oh, oh, yeah
Every time
I see your face
Every time
Every time

Rusty Confidences

She had the rusty confidence of an older woman
who had fixed her mirror at 23
no later images allowed
as she took in my face
and allowed
those beautiful eyes of hers
to wander down and over me
lingering longer than a lady's eyes should
which made them into bedroom eyes
which she did not seek to conceal
looking up to see me looking into those eyes
having their forbidden views
but she didn't mind that I knew and understood
their meanings and intents
while I could see she could see
me the younger man
learning lessons from her
and she guessed
needed what she had to teach,
if I could get pass her lined face
and see with her 23 year old eyes
behind the mirror time had obscured,
hoping I could see that which would make me wiser than my years
and I was
because need recognizes needs
irrespective of the years
and facial lines
drawn down from time
did not obscure that beating heart
I could hear thumping loud
behind the blue sheer blouse she wore
elbows on the table
her breasts lying there
like the evenings two course meal
waiting to be consumed
or petted like puppies
appreciated because they
shined still after all these years.

Her eyes followed my eyes and she watched me watching them
shifting wanting to wring appreciation from me,
impatient to give the two be given their just due
parts of her she still liked and loved
almost like mementos from her youth which
had remained the same and had not betrayed
like those lines in her face
and I was to corroborate and vindicate that view
with just a lingering glance and willowy simile
which I gave with true admiration and kindness mixed
because she had asked me to with her eyes.

A tear formed there
and a silent thank you flowed across that table
and we both understood
kindness, appreciation and need
met and married there
rolling back time
if only for an instant.

Natasha The Smasher!

God-graced beauty, as soft as silk,
Your brown hair frames you well,
Your pupils, too, amid white milk,
So quickly cast their spell...
Like boomerangs, your eyebrows rest,
In wondrous symmetry,
Your God-blessed lips I think the best,
Yet all looks sweet to me...

Your hair cascades, twin waterfalls,
With highlights shining through
And suddenly my heartbeat stalls
While thinking, 'I love you! '
The spectacle before my eyes
Just takes my breath away,
As if I stroll in Paradise
In Heaven's streets today...

Are you an angel come to Earth,
No parents of your own?
Or are you here of mortal birth,
Your future set in stone?
To live as one of us, no more,
Just passing time each hour,
So beautiful, without a flaw,
Just like a Summer flower?

Natasha's such a noble name,
It's like a melting sigh...
Natasha, I can't stay the same,
No matter how I try...
I hope you find your special love
And feel as I feel now...
Till then you cannot know enough,
The words are hard, somehow...

To me, you're like a living doll,
A perfect, precious girl,
Someone with whom I'd like to stroll,
To dance with and to twirl...
Like Fred Astaire, I'd walk on air,
Set free by love's embrace...
Such thoughts thrill me beyond compare
Each time I see your face...

Image

The girl in the mirror stared back at me.
Unflinching.
Eyes blood shot.
Cheeks stained with tears and sweat.
Her hands dangled weakly, swollen
and splattered with blood.
Matted hair sprung from her head and the black circles
made her eyes seem all the more sunken. Desperate.
She was small. Shriveled.
All hope sucked from her soul and left a scar
across her gray face like a tree branch
reaching for the sun but anchored by the abandoned
body of a young girl whose heart
had long ago stopped beating.
the fallen soldier of a country whose world
had fought against it. A country of Purity.
And this girl raised a cut and bruised arm
and lifted the mask from her face. Hesitantly.
The scars faded.
They left tiny white lines on my arms and face.
And my eyes cleared;
Hope glistening from them
and making my skin glow.
My hair curled softly.
My hands healed and were cleansed.
A slight pink stain rested on my fingers
My flesh was watered back to life.
And I smiled.
A weak, crooked sort of smile.
My teeth were not in their places
and a few were chipped,
but I loved the sight of that broken grin.

Sing Of Immortality

Tomorrow I feel
Tomorrow I see
Tomorrow I know shall never come

Today is the day that life begins
Today is the day we see thy truth
Today is the time to rejoice

Yesterday someone died, of pain and suffering
Yesterday may never be new,
Yet yestererday upon we thought ‘tomorrow will make this yesterday”

Tomorrow I feel
Tomorrow I see
Tomorrow I know shall never come, to me

So sing with me
As I sing to the
Of joy and happieness

Today today, will never be lost
Tomorrow shall always come
And yesterday shall be in our memory

Forever I stand
Forever I sing
Forever is what shall become, of me

So sing with me,
So sing with me,
Of joy and immortality

Today is just another day

Today is just another day
Of highs and lows
When the winds blow and the waters flow

Today is just another day
A day to make amends and new friends
For there will come a time it will all end

Today is just another day
We eat and go to work
Some seat and wait for luck
Others cheat giving the sweet talk

Today is just another day
Where we must live for tomorrow
Or give in to everlasting sorrow

Today is just another day
We breathe in the same air
Trying to invent new ideas
Exhibiting passionate care or fear

Today is just another day
While some of us delight in joy
Others will find a way to deploy
Tools to destroy the moments we enjoy

Today is no different from yesterday
Technology the only change in the game
The people are still the same
Looking for one to take on the blame
Always worshipping those with a name
Broken hearts and love keep alive the dying flame

Today is just another day
It will fade away
Quickly into yesterday
Tomorrow then gladly will become today!
