I Am All Set With You
there is drama when i first
saw you. I ask for a woman with a
red rose on her hand
and it was you holding this
red rose one early morning
and it set the beginning
of my day with you. we married.
we stayed on.
12 years. moving on
to 25 years.
we keep the laughter
and the giggle
each night we tell
stories
how we begin
always...
in this book of love,
we do not know how to tell the story
of an ending....
perhaps we must learn to write
about a fairy tale
how to keep ourselves
happy ever after
how to say the clinching lines
of a happy ending.

Just Like A Fairy Tale
It was just just like a fairy tale...
You were my prince that would sweep me away and it would be a happy ending.
But somewhere in our fairy tale some pages went missing,
some lies where put in,
some tears where cried,
some hearts where broken.
The happy ending never came..
I woke up from my fairy tale,
and saw you werent about to sweep me off my feet and ride away into the sunset to live our happy ending..
I woke up from my childish fantasy and saw i had to grow up and realise the real world is nothing like a fairy tale..
So i had to let you go knowing the pages to our story,
could never be rewritten.. ♥

Ever After
The life of a fairy tale.
Can be like our own.
The ending is happy.
But the story unknown.
The story begins.
Then there’s always a twist.
You can’t get to the ending.
Unless you persist.
Some stop reading the story.
When things, they look bleak.
They don’t have the strength.
Their hearts are too weak.
So they grab a new tale.
Then the reading begins.
If it ends in the middle.
Then nobody wins.
So things just seem hopeless.
Because we always quit.
We don’t finish the story.
To the fear we submit.
God tells us, “Hold on.”
“The ending is near.”
“Just keep reading the story.”
“Don’t give in to fear.”
“Believe in My ending.”
“Believe and then hope.”
“That the hero will climb up.”
“From the end of his rope.”
And so you continue
The prince finds his queen
The greatest fairy tale ending
You ever had seen
But had you not finished.
The true ending unknown.
The prince would not have a queen.
To share with his throne.
Fairy tales are filled.
With both sadness and laughter.
Where you finish the story.
Becomes your ever after.

Happy Ending
(words & music by ben weisman - sid wayne)
Happy ending, happy ending
Give me a story with a, happy ending
When boy meets girl and then
They never part again
But live forever happily, like you and me
Our love story gets me so upset
Like romeo, and juliet
Im not smart enough to figure why
Some folks enjoy, a real good cry
Happy ending, happy ending
Give me a story with a, happy ending
When boy meets girl and then
They never part again
But live forever happily, like you and me
Never thought that I would stand a chance
That youd give me, a second glance
But I think that you can play the part
And give a guy, a happy heart
Happy ending, happy ending
Give me a story with a, happy ending
When boy meets girl and then
They never part again
But live forever happily, like you and me
When boy meets girl and then, they never part again
But live forever happily, like you and me
Like you and me, like you and me
Like you and me

One-Way Fairy Tale
set in forests, castles, and kingdoms
begin with “in a faraway place…” and “once upon a time”
tell about princesses, fairies, princes and monsters
end with kisses and live happily after ever after
it’s funny how fairy tales are expected to be this way
filled with magic and wishes and enchanted days
though always start with humble and sad beginnings
they still close into happy endings
how I wish my tale will be the same
in which i just have to win over evil plans and games
then it’ll be forever with my fairy
a forever which is beyond any possibility
only prince charming can have cinderella
only shrek can possibly be with princess fiona
my story won’t end as happy as theirs
‘cause my fairy won’t be with me after an ever after
after some borrowed time, things will lose their magic
after some stolen seconds, clocks will normally click
unlike those fairy tales that never end after closing a book
mine will surely be forgotten after a talk
only you, my fairy can say it won’t end that bad
only you can stop ending my story that sad
even an author doesn’t have much power
only you can make our fairy tale a little bit longer

The Love of My Life
Some day when everthing is right I'll take your hand if you take mine.
We will run away deep into the night and you'll save my life by never saying goodbye.
Our story will go on but few will know everything we went threw.
In time no one will know us, it will be another fairy tale.
Some day when everthing is right I'll take your hand if you take mine.
I loved you then and I will love you again, but for now we must act like it will never happen again.
In time no one will know us, it will be another fairy tale.
One people will tell forever with no end.
A perfect romance a true happy ending.
The story will always go on just as our love.
Someday when the time is right we will take each others hands and we will save each others lives,
we will never say goodbye.

How To Write A Novel
How to write a Novel
I like to write a book, any book as long as it has my name on the cover.
A one day course, how to write a novel. The course leader, a published
writer, wore a long dress but I could see her ankles, they were beautiful
and much younger than the rest of her. Dyed, red hair, face very pale,
presumable from sitting in all day writing how-to books.
Beginning, middle and an end, yes, like life, capricious in the middle,
the ending tends to write itself. Sudden endings are best, run over by
a bus, or a train crash, where cell phones go on ringing in the broken
interior. Then silence. Long ending are best being avoided, hospital bed
pages after pages, endless days, exhausted relatives.
Lovely ankles, did she paint her toenails red? She wore flat shoes
sensible for any woman over fifty. Classroom empty, they had all gone
out for lunch, I went to the pub and stayed there. Beginning, middle and
an ending, what more is there to know?

Fary Tale Ending
It started out like a fairy tale
You were my prince
And I was your princess
That’s exactly how you treated me
Everything was perfect
Until now
What about the fairy tale ending?
Where you become my King
And I would be your Queen
Now my fairy tale is gone
No more dreams
Or hopes
Because you’re gone
So, what about my fairy tale ending you ask?
It’s gone
The day we weren’t “us” anymore
So let me tell you this
I don’t believe in fairy tales anymore

Open Book's Monologue Part 2: Perpetual
Perpetual
Eternal
Immutable
Irrevocable
Enduring
Etched in stone
Engraved with blood
The words of an open book remain
The book cannot write itself, but it is a series of stain after stain
Of ink and blood to paper writing a story that cannot be changed
Nor altered, nor made a happy, if tragedy destined to be
Tragedy it shall be, and tragedy for me
If love to be, it shall be, but this will not come
If death to be, it shall be, and shall always come, for all things under the sun
Will one day perish, wither, and die
One day decay will find this spine, and air make page fly
One day ink will fade
Destroying all that was so carefully made
But this is not the cruelty
The cruelty is that the story is immutable
The ending certain
The cruelty is a book is unalterable
The ending the book strives for- in vain
It is GIVEN an ending, with which it has no say
And to this end it SHALL come one day

To Begin the Ending of What?
The lines for battle
Have already been drawn.
And those committed,
With pledges to defeat...
Enemies to conquer and win.
For the purposes of a victory,
To boast about with upheld chins.
May come to do it.
But what has been proven?
That this can be done,
Again and again.
To begin the ending of what?
A satisfaction?
Blissed without distractions?
Or a race of one people...
Who already show they know nothing,
But expressions of hatred.
To begin the ending of what?
To begin the ending of what?
To begin the ending of what?
To begin the ending,
Of what?
Demented beings?
Lost and powerless...
Against programmed machines.

Book Of Life
Life is like a book
A mystery
How many chapters will I have
Will the words bring joy or saddness
Success or failure
A book with no forward
For it is written day by day
With the ending known only by one
Will it be a novel, short story
Or an never ending story known by many
Lived by few
Oh how we would like it to be a best seller,
A classic endearing to the end of time
But sorry to say for most of us
Our story will be only be known by few
I will be happy with that
As long as I don't become one of the forgotten
I believe our storys go on
For as long as someone remembers our story.

Never Ending
(words & music by kaye - springer)
Walk down to the beach at sunset
Look as far as you can see
You will find that endless ocean
And thats how my love will always be
I bring you never ending, never ending
Never ending, never ending
Never ending, never ending love
Look up at the sky at midnight
Gaze up on the starlit view
Just as heaven has no boundaries
Neither does my love for you
I bring you never ending, never ending
Never ending, never ending
Never ending, never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love
Never ending love

Having A Good Time
(bliss / kipner)
You read the stars
Everyday in the paper
And believe every word they say
You want to know
If Ill always love you
But I cant see tomorrow today
So, I cant guarantee
A happy ending
The story is always unwinding
But right here and now
It doesnt matter
Are you having a good time
You know that Im no fortune teller
I cant predict
How it will be
You need a love that lasts forever
That far ahead
I just cant see
So, I cant guarantee
A happy ending
I dont know what mightve happen
But this me and you in this situation
Are you having a good time
If everythings perfect
What more could we ask for
Were here and now
Are you having a good time
Youre somewhere off
Into the future
Imagining how it will look
Will we last another chapter
Can we make it last til the end of the book
So, I cant guarantee
A happy ending
The story is always unwinding
But right here and now
It doesnt matter
Having a good time

Behind The Door
Behind the door of every house,
In every street, in every town
A story is unfolding
A story is unfolding of love and hate
The most of us wait of hopes and fears
Of smiles and tears of dreams
That lies a moldering
Behind the door of every house,
In every street, in every town
The stage is set for playing
The stage is set for playing
And I call crime and punch your mime
Sweet romance, a rich will dance
Characters are playing
Behind the door of every house,
In every street, in every town
The people are a waiting
The people are a waiting
To bare and die, the years go by
The wedding spree the cruelty
And still they go on mating
And to the one the only one
Remember when the need of man
Is greater again
The prayers take off ascending
All filled of love to the one above
Asking for asking for asking for asking for
A happy ending a happy ending a happy ending

Romeo and Juliet
I was discouraged, alone in that dale
For life to me was no fairy tale!
My entire childhood I’d been pretending
Of some story with a happy ending
All of that time I’d been so naïve
It was nothing more than make-believe!
But how would I know, thanks to you alone
Magical feelings would prove me wrong?
A miserable life lost its course
When a charming prince appeared on a horse,
Rescued me from worldly strife
I was Cinderella that day of my life
For decades I had been sleeping
Years had I been weeping
Dozing away during harmonious bliss
But, darling, you saved me with a tender kiss
And you took me away as your soon-to-be wife
I was Sleeping Beauty that day of my life
These days are overflowing with laughter
I seem to believe in those 'happily ever afters'
For my Romeo is all I shall ever need
He’s the only book I wish to read
My happiness forever is lovely and fife
I am Juliet everyday of my life

Love story
Love story
~
And somewhere it may be written
a love story not of fairy-tales
or a Hollywood blockbuster
neither the best selling novel
of some highly respect author
or a poetic sonnet which sings
odes to sweet undying passion
it is more simple, honest
a love story of modern times
which bypasses the ageless classics
and clichés of romance
it may not make you cry
but it still remains a love story
lacking high drama or duels fought
mistakes are made and learnt from
and the happy ending still awaits
to be realised and celebrated
but somewhere it is written
in diary or letter form
the love story to this poem

Bad Love Story
Once again you tried to show me
What my eyes refused to see
In the lines between the painful scene were in
With the silence falling coldly
On a world of make-believe
And the ending that I still dont understand
Chorus:
Its a bad love story
That Ive had to learn by heart
cause Ive lived these lines so many times before
And its a shame the way the same old ending
Still tears me apart
Where the lady still dont love me anymore
I can see the truth before me
Like a mirror on the wall
With a crack or two for every fool Ive been
And I see the lady waiting
For her count-down curtain call
And its looking like the place that I came in
Chorus:
Its a bad love story
That Ive had to learn by heart
cause Ive lived these lines so many times before
And its a shame the way the same old ending
Still tears me apart
Where the lady still dont love me anymore

Not A Fairytale
You think my life's a fairy tale
As happy as can be
Knight in shining armor
Saves the damsel in distress
Dragon slain
If this is a fairy tale
My life is far from it
You're no knight in shining armor
The damsel can take care of herself
And there are more dragons than you realize
In forms of a stepdad, homelife, even you
Bet thats not what you were expecting
In this 'fairy tale'
The only way to save me
Is to slain ALL the dragons
But let me guess
You would never slain yourself
So much for a happy ending

Little More Love
(John Farrar)
Night is draggin' her feet
I wait alone in the heat
I know , know that you'll have your way
Till you have to go home
"No's" a word I can't say
'Cos it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Where, where did my innocence go
How, how was a young girl to know
I'm trapped, trapped in the spell of your eyes
In the warmth of your arms
In the web of your lies
But it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
It gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
