Here, Here My Dear
we honestly did not intend to build a palace in the sky
you must understand our disappointments and sorrows
that is why we are playing with our hands on the sands of time
we do not intend to challenge the waters on the shore
we do not mind if everything we built is erased by it
we are merely squandering time because we have nothing meaningful to do anymore
we cannot simply delet ourselves like some innocuous words in the
sentence
we have no power to simply burst like a balloon release ourselves as air and leave the empty rubber on the ground
we have codes in our bones some inscriptions on our skins
the instructions are vague and incomplete that is why we are being held here with the caprices of too much waiting
come join us let us play on the sands of time let us swim on the
shallow seas of our usual existences
it is not fun really but it can be if we think it to be
it is all in the mind it is beautified by the heart

The Falling Sands Of Time
the falling sands of time
spend themselves like the way you lose yourself
bit by bit to the floors of waste
but you have your hands
and your eyes do not fail to watch
you have the power in your mind
to turn back the sundial
and let the sands of time recover themselves
all for you
giving back that confidence
for rebirth
always always there are beginnings
your heart shall tell

Sands Sift Between My Toes
If Fairy Dust could be sprinkled
Across the sands of time
It would undo all the harms I've done
To you and
To those and
Still to more of whom I do not know
But the fairies must have gone
Along with their magical dust
Instead of beaching under me
The sands drift over, around, and above
Grains gritting against my desperate pleas
I beg for them to take me
To the past
To the future
Unwilling, they say
It is here
Where I must stay
So here I have been left
To stand in stagnant air
Of guilt, of fear, of shame
Hand smacked each time I dare
To start life again with disengenuous flare
But blame the dust and sands I can't
Nor guilt, nor fear, nor shame
They are simply being true
To their birth, to their task, to their work
Inspired by these forces
I too must be true to
Whomever I am... or am not...
Or wish to...or wish not to be
In short, I must believe I add value
Just by me being me
As I think it, I can say it
As I say it, I can...
Reach out one more time
Eyes squinting recalling past smacks in my mind
This time mayhem does not make its way
No punishments doled
Despite the genuine truth be told
In its place a hearty laugh comes from the unknown,
'Go on about your life creature, for now you know.'
Suddenly, a quick of energy
Burst the black out of my soul
Leaving room for the dust of gods to enter
Waiting in ether for my true self to show
At this blessed moment
The sands of time stood still and fell
Allowing refuge from the pain
A flash of Self-Revelation
Joy be known
'Bless each tiny grain, '
as Sands Sift Between my Toes.

The State Of Non-meaning
so many sands
long term plans
so many grains of sands
on the beach on the mind of man
oh, i guess
so many poems composed
each poem has become a grain of sands
so many grains
from my mouth
to my hands to my feet to the beach to the sands of time
in search for meaning
when actually there is none.

And So I'm Writing...
I'm hard-pressed for time,
yet I do have the heart
And so I'm writing
Know not what to pen down,
have a paper to write on
And so I'm writing
May be I'll write about 'you and me'
Or may be of 'us and them'
Feel like playing with words
And so I'm writing
May be that starving beggar's hungry looks
Or that homeless Child's beckoning eyes
Are making me scribble these lines to you
And so I'm writing
May be you'll find my words vague
Or you might decipher a meaning
Intend to leave you in the oblivion
And so I'm writing
Whatever might be the impression I create
Wish to see its reflection on your soul
And leave an imprint on your mind
And so I'm writing
May be you and I've become immune
To the pathos of mankind
Or may be there's still
A dropp of humanity flowing deep within us
Wish to arouse 'The Human Being' in you
And so I'm writing...

I Am Not At Home With You Anymore
i do not intend to waste some words anymore
the images have become too hazy
lacking the particulars of the eyelashes and the
capillaries
the roots are too short and few
on this very shallow soil
the rain has come and the tree with the small
touches of the wind
shall be uprooted
there is no more dignity to this
no honor possible
you pack up and leave
goodbye is not even a word anymore
it is just the usual hand waving aboard a boat
with no known destination

Love Can Build A Bridge
I'd gladly walk across the desert
With no shoes upon my feet
To share with you the last bite
Of bread I had to eat
I'd would swim out to save you
In your sea of broken dreams
When all your hopes are sinking
Let me show you what love means
Love can build a bridge
Between your heart and mine
Love can build a bridge
Don't you think it's time?
Don't you think it's time?
I would whisper love so loudly
Every heart could understand
That love and only love
Can join the tribes of man
I would give my heart's desire
So that you might see
The first step is to realize
That it all begins with you and me
Love can build a bridge
Between your heart and mine
Love can build a bridge
Don't you think it's time?
Don't you think it's time?
When we stand together
It's our finest hour
We can do anything, anything
Anything, anything
Keep believin' in the power
Love can build a bridge
Between your heart and mine
Love can build a bridge
Don't you think it's time?
Don't you think it's time?
Love and only love
Love and only love

The Sands Of Time
The trickling of sand has started now
for the moments we shall share.
There will not be enough time for us,
not enough time to spare.
Let's turn the hourglass over and over
so our time cannot run out.
For our love, my sweet is all that counts.
It's all I think about.
The sands of time one by one
are traveling much too fast.
How can we slow them down, my dear?
How can we make them last?
Yours is the heart that beats my life,
one beat at a time.
Yours is the mind that connects with me
one thought at a time.
And as we travel through our lives
those grainy sands still fall,
making me want to hang on tight
and stop them once and for all.
But life is movement and must go on
so take my hand and stay
close by my side through all our moments
as the sands of time fall away.

A Philosophy In Life
when you read that poem about deleting Maureen
i regret to have given you the wrong spelling for delet...
i know it lacks an e.
but i do not wish to delet it anymore or even edit it.
i have this philosophy in life you know
do not go back
leave all your tracks as they were once made
do not edit life
let them see how mistakes were made and how they need not be corrected
simply because you know that
people are patient and they understand the common ground of our humanity
errors, not eros.

Realizing Reality...
we have been filled
to the brim
our contents are overflowing
what is it that we can choose?
except to
empty what is full
to discard what we think we can
we do not rationalize anymore
there is simply no place for
this
at this time of the
state of our affairs
when we are moving without an exact direction
where we have to confess
that all our compasses
are broken
our fingers do not point
to the north
the skies are cloudy
and cold
in such a paradox
of cold
and heat
all co-existing
actually we must profess
that understanding had always
been at a loss
the confusion is gaining ground
and then we
begin to understand
we walk cool
there is no rush
our minds are empty
and we have
become
so confident
saying this is it
this after all is the truth of my existence
this purposeless life
this non-fulfillment
of desire
this luster lust
then we stand against the sunset
welcoming
whatever happens
what happens happens
and must happen
and what do we have
we have nothing
to lose
oh, pinch us
we are real now
we are not sands anymore
but stones

Reverse the Sands of Time
If I could reverse the sands of time I wouldn't change anything
If I reverse the hands of time I wouldn't know what my heartbreak bring
Time is the reason why I know how much you mean to me
Time is the reason why my eyes are open wide so now I can see
I wouldn't change time I would learn & embrace what's forthcoming
Time make me evolve it make me grow It keep me always running
Sometime it's forms into the wind & hit me in every direction
Time is a force it's like a hurricane it's a volcano eruption
To reverse the sands of time I wouldn't know the joys of life
The time we share to see our kids grow hold you tight my wife
See the sun rise hold each and wait for its set
To be there sharing the grandchildren we haven't had yet
Regret my life? Would I reverse the sands of time?
Never because those time we share will always be mind

By the shores of Malachite
Upon the shores of Malachite
Next to the cobalt seas
Under molten silver moonbeams
That shatter on the crystal icing
Covering the diamonded waterfall
By the golden sands...
gather the unicorns of
Neptune, Uranius, and Pluto and beyond.
playfully covort between
Steel seas and emerald mountains
On the frozen sands of time unchanged
For a thousand Earth's comings
But it's just a dream
a lunacy, a nothingness in the night
All my unicorns have taken to flight
never there
All the frozen seas...
are now warm Florida keys
under a full August moon
And the mountains...
are impossible fears
that have faded into prairies
swelling like seas
And there are no proofprints
in the sands of time of a
far away race frozen in time

Love Will Wait
(l. stansfield/i. devaney/a. morris)
Love that will wait forever
When they can be together
And apart at the same time
Love that will wait forever
Time has no bond on to keep this heart
When they can be together
And apart at the same time
Although, while you gone, the love still carries on
Instead erased, but we feel its real
Because, I know, that youre here in my heart
Warming me inside, until the fire is real
Chorus
Love that will wait forever
Time has no bond on to keep this heart
When they can be together
And apart at the same time
Love that will wait forever
Time has no bond on to keep this heart
When they can be together
And apart at the same time
Now, in my mind, seems to lie upon the good times
We spent, sharing love, in the hope that we could share again
The time, like before, for me youve opened up the door
But to make this again like we never had before
Chorus
Its been worth it, just to see your smile
Your laughter makes it all worthwhile
Its been worth the waiting for
All the doubts in my mind is simply final
Chorus

Release Me
I know that its time for a change
Mmm but when that change comes
Will you still feel the same?
How many times have I tried to turn this love around?
I dont want to give up
But baby its time I had two feet on the ground
Can you release me
Can you release me
Now that youre gone I cant help myself from wondering
Oh, if youd have come down from your high
Would weve been all right?
Release me
Can you release me
Chorus:
Come on baby, come on baby
You knew it was time to just let go
cause we want to be free
But somehow its just not that easy
Come on darlin, hear me darlin
cause youre a waste of time for me
Im trying to make you see
That baby youve just got to release me
Release me
Release me
Im not going back to you anymore
Finally my weakened heart is healing though very slow
So stop coming around my door
cause youre not gonna find
What youre looking for
(chorus)
What is this power youve got on me
What is this power, oh
What is it,what is it
(chorus)
Release me
Will you release me
Ah...release me
Will you release me

Waiting For The Time That I Have No More To Say
i am simply waiting
for the time when i have nothing anymore
to say and
then i will just sit there
in the corner looking at the sun
that will no longer rise or set,
not
really static,
it simply passes,
as though nothing happens.
and
when i have nothing more to say
it simply means,
goodbye,
i have freed myself
at last,
from the bondage
of speech from
the opression
of words,
from the anxiety
of the syllable,
from the demands
of certain
letters to finally form
a word,
from the
mandate of a blank slate
searching for
its own meaning
in whatever i speak.
and write

In Trying To Look For The Words
i am trying to look for the words
like looking for flowers in the garden
but there are not any anymore
in this season of rain
when sunshine is becoming slim
and hideous
when the mind is becoming tedious
about what to spell
and sing
there are lesser elements there
the usual sands
which we always equate with time slipping away from the fingers
the timid pebbles that do not ask anymore
the meaning of silence
too tired for the constancy
too mindless about
what happens everyday
in trying to look for something else
one finds
stupor as a burden at the back of the head
shunning light
evading vibrancy of thoughts and memories
retouching the blackness and whiteness of the past
killing time
and resting one's head on the sofa
with the tv on
past midnight.

Nearest Distant Shore
(written by gary harrison, tim mensy)
You fight for every breath
Caught without a ship in this sea of neglect
The one you swore to love is pulling you down
Youre in over your head
Chilled to the bone by the waters youve tread
Chart a course to land, before you drown
Swim to the nearest distant shore
Theres only so much a heart can endure
You gave it your best, forgive yourself
You cant hold on anymore
Its not as far as it might seem
Now its time to let go of old dreams
Every heart for itself
Swim to the nearest distant shore
He said for you hed change
Then hed let you down and watch you take the blame
Youre trapped between his lies and the great unknown
You vowed you would not fail
But this aint success its a living hell
Theres nothing left to lose, youre already alone
Swim to the nearest distant shore
Theres only so much a heart can endure
You gave it your best, forgive yourself
You cant hold on anymore
Its not as far as it might seem
Now its time to let go of old dreams
Every heart for itself
Swim to the nearest distant shore

Fathomless
Beaches covered with sands of time--
Coast lines edges in scalloped design-
Lighthouse beams shine at whats left behind...
While the seas ebb and flow leave nothing to find;
Just ragged soaked memory echos--
In the shells i put to my ears...
Just oysters minus the pearls of wisdom...
My body 'tis drenched from crying my tears;
With no comforting harbor even in view...
With no loving lagoon harboring youl...
With no alibaster sands-all brand new--
Even with our love once deep as the blue;
Yes, the beaches are covered in sands of time--
Much like an hour-glasss but with a chime--
Ringing the bells for the season of the reason to rhyme...
For loosing you 'tis a fathomless crime;
On to distant and greener shores you are?
And i will never understand the reason- or the why...
Sitting here in the sandy granules of an empty beach--
Remembering you-i again begin to cry;

A Tale Of Ours In The Ocean
We are so close to the beach
As we held hands each other
On that deep blue sea we were floated
Joyful and vanished our sorrows
The ocean crashing against the rocks
Very nice, never thought about them
It's so fun too play in the sands
Just like what we called 'run away'
We are so close to the beach
As we held hand each other
That deep blue sea we're floated
Together we diving into the sea
Hanging on to this sweet memory
And the water can't cover the memory
Through the window in the wall
I let them flew straight to the moon
I wonder why it happens so fast
You leave me far away from here
And I'm still here waiting for you
To go to the beach once again
Our life is no longer in this world
So I write down these all words
I want to ride the skies tonight
Cos' I still waiting for sleep.

Shallow Days...
well, there are
shallow days, nothing deep
something for my
feet,
above me the sun
one and only one sun
just the sun and my head
and the shallow waters
on my toes
and the noon time walk
when everyone is as usual
having lunch, and
my toes get wet and i
am making meanings
on the shallow waters
the body in the middle of
this air, the hands are like
eagles flying. the fingers are
turning into feathers
