Give me space, give me time
It is the hands of time that
Heals.let its hands caress
My weary thoughts. So much
Have been lost in my fingers
Slipping away. I walk down
The road now, to freedom.
Hand in hand with the tree
And twigs. Feeling the
Caresses of the leaves
On the road to my freedom.
Give me space. Let my wholeness
Occupy. I need to expand
My choking life. Give me time.
Give me the healing hands
Of time. Let me sleep on its
Palms. I am throwing my
Hands in the air. I want to fly
Now. Sensational. I must.

Nothing To Give
As we walk along life’s highway
we see outstretched hands for something,
but we pass by saying
we have nothing to give.
However, we are wrong
as we have more to give than we think.
We have words of comfort
to console someone in time of loss,
a heart filled with love
to extend to everyone we meet.
Hands to hold and guide
those who have lost their way.
We may think because we have no money
that we have nothing to give.
We have ourselves and our time,
our compassion and our love.
If we turn our back on these
then we truly have nothing to give.

Hands
One hand enough to caress, but it needs two hands to clasp
One hand enough to grasp, but it needs two hands to pull it up
One hand enough to make agreement, but it needs two hands to clap
One hand enough to create, but it needs two hands to balance
One hand enough to reject, but it needs two hands to protect

Time Heals all
when my brother had a bad car crash and nearly died
i was told to give it time
time heals all
one after another my four grandparents died
i was told to give it time
time heals all
when a mates brother hung himself
i was told to give it time
time heals all
when my friend turned her back and distroyed my life
i was told to give it time
time heals all
when i got epilepsy and lost peoples trust
i was told to give it time
time heals all
when i got depressed and lost control of my life
i was told to give it time
time heals all
i gave it time
but i'm not healed
so when dose time help
when do people stop relying on time
and get off there butts and help
cause time dosen't heal all on its own
Slippin' Through My Fingers
Schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning
Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile
I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness
And I have to sit down for a while
The feeling that I'm losing her forever
And without really entering her world
I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter
That funny little girl
Slipping through my fingers all the time
I try to capture every minute
The feeling in it
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Do I really see what's in her mind
Each time I think I'm close to knowing
She keeps on growing
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Sleep in our eyes, her and me at the breakfast table
Barely awake, I let precious time go by
Then when she's gone there's that odd melancholy feeling
And a sense of guilt I can't deny
What happened to the wonderful adventures
The places I had planned for us to go
(Slipping through my fingers all the time)
Well, some of that we did but most we didn't
And why I just don't know
Slipping through my fingers all the time
I try to capture every minute
The feeling in it
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Do I really see what's in her mind
Each time I think I'm close to knowing
She keeps on growing
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Sometimes I wish that I could freeze the picture
And save it from the funny tricks of time
Slipping through my fingers...
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Schoolbag in hand she leaves home in the early morning
Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile

My Father's Hands
My Father's Hands
As I look upon my father's hands
now a spotted, wrinkled road map,
that time, sun and sweat,
have hardened them to a painted tortoise shell.
Those, the same hands that I once feared,
and yet at the same time so gentle
that they held my tiny hand deep within.
I feared nothing as if he was the grace of God.
Will they still remember me?
My Father's hands.

My heart is my hands
My hands
Is
Only my hands...
Not for
your hands....
So...
I want too work
My hands...
I want too serve
My hands...
I want to do about
Somthing of my
Hands...
My hands is
Free for only
Sleeping time only...
my hands is
working all the times
My hands not only
Hands...
It is human workers...
Allways for my friends...
My hands...is my heart...
My heart is my hands.....
Ok...How is your hands...?

I Dreamed.... (Hands)
i dreamed last night...
and all i could see were hands.
sometimes hard and calloused,
sometimes soft and feminine.
skilled hands, laborer's hands,
loving hands, nurturing hands....
fingers digging in the dirt,
fingers holding a pen.
fingers playing a piano,
fingers unbuttoning blouses.
hands extended, hands gripping the rope,
hands holding the shovel,
hands covered with resin.
hands folded in prayer,
hands balled into fists.
hands stuffed in empty pockets.
hands that define both history,
and destiny!
hands scarred and bruised,
hands covered with age spots.
hands that speak many languages.
hands that know mistakes, and failures.
hands that built fires,
hands that put fires out!
hands that wiped away tears,
that picked up trash,
and revealed souls....
whose hands?
my hands, your hands?
god's hands?
does it really matter?
hands engaged and involved,
in the very act of living!

A Stalemate
I do not give thanks to the hands that feed me
I work for those
Hands anyway
Writing his letters
His own contents
Not to my delight
I love somebody else, her hands are soft
Her thoughts so graceful
Touching me
Penetrating the deepest recesses of my brain
My soul jumps with joy
To the sight of her,
She eats me, I am half-consumed yet I
Sing of her
Kiss her all day
Yet what does she give me?
This death unto myself,
The hands that feed me caress me to no end
Helping me live, I understand this kindness perfectly
How I wish to love the feeding hands
How I wish to reeducate myself & learn to live on these hands
I am hardheaded, as always thinking about her all day all night long.
The heart has its own foolish reasons, while the feeding hands
Are patient, and silent, understanding my true longings.

I Have The Touch
The time I like is the rush hour, cos I like the rush
The pushing of the people - I like it all so much
Such a mass of motion - do not know where it goes
I move with the movement and ... I have the touch
Im waiting for ignition, Im looking for a spark
Any chance collision and I light up in the dark
There you stand before me, all that fur and all that hair
Oh, do I dare ... I have the touch
Wanting contact
Im wanting contact
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Any social occasion, its hello, how do you do
All those introductions, I never miss my cue
So before a question, so before a doubt
My hand moves out and ... I have the touch
Wanting contact
Im wanting contact
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Pull my chin, stroke my hair, scratch my nose, hug my knees
Try drink, food, cigarette, tension will not ease
I tap my fingers, fold my arms, breathe in deep, cross my legs
Shrug my shoulders, stretch my back - but nothing seems
To please
I need contact
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact

Everything
You got your blind indecisions of all the things they say
This is your life this time live it how you know.
Give one man power to kill
And one man hands to heal
Left one man suffering
All I want is everything
All I want is
All I want is
All I want is everything
They got the door wide open, won't you walk on in?
We're goin for a freak ride, won't you take a spin?
Okay thisll be the last chance so now make it right
If someone tries to stop you stand your ground and fight
Give one man power to kill
And one man hands to heal
Left one man suffering
All I want is everything
All I want is
All I want is
All I want is everything
Everything, everything
Everything, everything
Everything, everything
Everything, everything
Give one man power to kill and one man hands to heal
Give one man everything still others left suffering
Thrill of livin' stay on the right path
When death is calling you cant take it all back
Can't take it all back
Can't take it all back
Give one man power to kill
And one man hands to heal
Left one man suffering
All I want is everything
Give one man power to kill
And one man hands to heal
Left one man suffering
All I want is everything
All I want
All I want
All I want is everything
All I want
All I want
All I want is everything

A space to thrive
time and mind never
meet eye to eye
time is a master
with limitations
anyone who has
a brush with it
will tell you why
it leads us all
down the wrong alley
and die
it is ying, the
female energy
darkness
a stasis in disguise
the mind is a master
of a heaven
of freedom
it is yang
the sun
light that
spreads life
and cheers
a mind just
refuses to be
shadowed
pigeonholed
it is an inquisitive
child all out on
his two feet
crawling, walking,
running, standing or
falling
time finds itself
all too
inadequate
to keep up
with the mind
or within the grasp
of its two hands
the mind
can be where it
likes to be
in as well as
out of time
any place
anywhere
time sadly needs
a space to
thrive, a
dimension
to give it
significance
a mind that
extends a
helping
hand to
help him
walk the walk

Sprinkle Your Love
The glazing sunshine
Afternoon
Under that tree
Tree with dry leaves
Visible roots
Dry earth
Give me water
To drink
And sprinkle your love
On the bareness of my heart
The sky and some patches of white clouds
I stretch
Hold my hands
The hands dry like the branches of that tree
Hold my hands
For these hands
May grow some leaves
And fruits
Like the hope
I have
From the tree
My love
Do not despair
There is blood
Still running in my veins

Conceit and Deceit
what i have in my hands
are only stones
if you search for more
pebbles
my mind can give you
but first
you must entice me
with a flower in your hand
for you to have stones
that soon will grow you
some leaves of sand
that soon shall show you
how pebbles can be flowers
too
what you have are only
flowers
a little bit lighter than
the twigs of their source
what i have in my hands
are pebble that give us weight
yes, weight is wisdom
and they are all stones

Tough Hands, Tender Heart
My Granddad's hands were somewhat huge;
You might say that they had been well used;
Working in coal mines all his life was tough;
So his hands had become callused and rough;
The first time you notice him you would stare;
You'd get the impression of him being a bear;
Strong grip; that of a sound able-bodied mans;
Time progressing forward wrinkled his hands;
Always vigorously working with enough to do;
If needed he would repeatedly find time for you;
He was a man paying attention with a lot of care;
When he rested his hands were folded in prayer;
If he called you without getting an answer quick;
His clearing his throat would always did the trick;
Walking he had my hand in one the other a tea cup;
My juvenile hand in his was gently swallowed up;
Hands tough, yet comfortable for the most part;
One thing for sure he had a really tender heart;
His warm and cozy hands left me feeling at peace;
Walking with him all my hurt would soon release;

Too Much Time On My Hands
Written by tommy shaw
Lead vocals by tommy shaw
Sitting on this barstool talking like a damn fool
Got the twelve oclock news blues
And Ive given up hope on the afternoon soaps
And a bottle of cold brew
Is it any wonder Im not crazy? is it any wonder Im sane at all
Well Im so tired of losing- I got nothing to do and all day to do it
I go out cruisin but Ive no place to go and all night to get there
Is it any wonder Im not a criminal?
Is it any wonder Im not in jail?
Is it any wonder Ive got
Too much time on my hands, its ticking away with my sanity
Ive got too much time on my hands, its hard to believe such a calamity
Ive got too much time on my hands and its ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands
Well, Im a jet fuel genius - I can solve the worlds problems
Without even trying
I have dozens of friends and the fun never ends
That is, as long as Im buying
Is it any wonder Im not the president
(hes not the president)
Is it any wonder Im null and void?
Is it any wonder Ive got
Too much time on my hands, its ticking away at my sanity
Ive got too much time on my hands, its hard to believe such a calamity
Ive got too much time on my hands and its ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands

How Did You Experience The Hands Of Time?
the hands of time
could be the hands of my lover
there is no rush
nothing is as quick as happiness
that savors itself
slowly in the taste buds of
imbibing
love and affection
caress and not duress
on the other hand
the hands of time can be the hands of the master
to a slave
whipping and humiliating
forcefully putting furrows in our foreheads
breaking bones and overusing cartilages
till they break
as they stretch beyond the limits
of their elasticity
it all depends on you
you are the master of your own universe
make time your ally
your best friend
let it go gently over your heart
let it love you
and time with you
is the air that you breathe
savored by your nostrils
happiness and life to the
roots of your lungs.

The Passing Of A Heart
O touch me with your hands--
For pity's sake!
My brow throbs ever on with such an ache
As only your cool touch may take away;
And so, I pray
You, touch me with your hands!
Touch--touch me with your hands.--
Smooth back the hair
You once caressed, and kissed, and called so fair
That I did dream its gold would wear alway,
And lo, to-day--
O touch me with your hands!
Just touch me with your hands,
And let them press
My weary eyelids with the old caress,
And lull me till I sleep. Then go your way,
That Death may say:
He touched her with his hands.

These Hands
Given by God -are these hands!
One can do many things -with these hands
With love one can help a strangers' hands-
Allay and comfort the elders' gnarled hands
Clean sweep and mop with these hands
Decorate and embellish with these hands
Cook and serve food to all with these hands
Clasp a loved one with these hands
Applaud one with pleasure with these hands
Dig the soil and form a garden with these hands
Hold a book to read with these hands
Write and post a card with these hands
Type a poem to cheer someone with these hands
Draw a picture and sew clothes with these hands
Paint a beautiful scene to amuse with these hands
Play a game of volley ball or cricket with these hands
Swim the waters and row a boat with these hands
Pick the harvests and fruits with these hands
Feed the animals and birds with these hands
Seek the warmth of dear ones with these hands
Feel the soft petals of a flower with these hands
Fold the palms to pray with these hands
Given by God - are these hands!
