Learning Curve
Running, running
myself ragged.
Sinking deeper
and steeper
into the dark.
No light shines
upon my face,
now sunken
and skeleton
while I yearn
for God’s grace.
Leaving behind
all that I’ve known
for a chance to
live a new life
apart from my own.
Gone to the ends
of this lonesome earth

Go slow with head down
Till whistle is not blown
No reaction until result is known
Head high and never claim until you own

I had died and gone to heaven,
