Fragile
you are so fragile
as a blue bird's egg inside my hands
my sigh is a pressure
the slightest of which the shell cracks
it doesn't matter
nature chooses those which are fit to survive
perhaps
an ostrich 's egg will do
to show me what life is
the hardness of this.

An Expression That Just Can't Be True
Like an ostrich just bury your head in the snow...
'Wait a minute that bird doesn't do that.'
Are you sure?
Are you absolutely certain?
I mean have you ever even seen an ostrich in the snow?
'Well no, but..'
But what?
Tell me then how exactly you know?
Are you a bird expert who has put an ostrich in an environment that it's not native too?
You know that's a cruel thing to do.
'No I'm just telling you that is something they do not do.
'Just listen for once in your life because I think your confused.'
Nah I'm not.
Expressions so old can become stale and rot.
So I'm seeking my own refuge.
A camp of new realities and dimensions.
All each with their own intention.
A deluge of ideas to portray a different existence of each and every day.

Picking My Poison
More and more it feels like the stresses of life are clouding me, like a thick wall of fog through which I can barely see
It feels like all this stress is strangling me, help somebody please! It feels as though I can barely breathe!
But wait while yet all this stress continues to strangle me, there is also this pounding pressure I can feel inside of me
The pressure of taking care of you, the pressure of to myself staying true, the pressure to be who you want me to be, the pressure of never making a mistake for fear that you'll never again be able to look at me
The pressure of trying to succeed, the pressure of always trying to make you proud of me, the pressure of trying to make everybody happy, little do they know that sooner or later all this pressure will finally destroy me
But even if this pounding pressure I feel inside doesn't do me in first, there's still this strangling stress that continues to choke me, and honestly I don't know which poison is worst.

93 Million Miles
Where does your garden grow?
Tell me the secrets that you know
Another time, another place
Where are the holy ones?
Selling the secret to the sun
Welcome to the Universe
Cross the line
Redefine
Lose your mind
Come crawl inside
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
The unified divide
Among and then deny
Now could you kindly cut to the chase?
It's like a Deadsy song
Pretty but something's always wrong
Show me a secret Mason sign
Cross the line
Redefine
Lose your mind
Come crawl inside
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
See
It's in your eyes
Come break me down
Come break me
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
Hey
What've you got?

Crippled Bird
A broken heart like a broken wing
It must have its time to mend
I am like a crippled bird
In hopes one day to fly again
I loved you so and I was faithful
I cared more than words could say
But love is cruel and life is hateful
Now youve gone and flown away
Chorus:
Oh, to die, twould be a pleasure
Slow to heal, but quick to cry
Fragile as a sparrows feather
Crippled bird too blue to fly
Oh, the loss is cold and shameful
And the grief so deep and sharp
There is nothing quite as painful
As a true blue broken heart
Repeat chorus
Fragile as a sparrows feather
Crippled bird too blue to fly

Little Bird Song
Theres a little bird
Somebody sent down to earth
To live along the wind
Blowing on the wind
And she sleeps on the wind
This little bird, somebody sent
Light and fragile
And feathered sky blue
Thin and graceful
The sun shining through
She flies so high up in the sky
Way out of reach of human eyes
Light and fragile
And feathered sky blue
Thin and graceful
The sun shining through
She flies so high up in the sky
Way out of reach of human eyes
Light and fragile
And feathered sky blue
Thin and graceful
The sun shining through
And the only time that she touches ground
Is when that little bird, little bird
Is when that little bird, little bird
Is when that little bird, little bird
Is when that little bird dies

I love you for what you seem.
Dear, can you be what you seam, inside your shell?
I fear, you may not show how you are inside.
Dear, can you admit me to peep inside your shell?
I fear, you may not expose the secret inside.
As long as you are not open with your shell inside
Why should I bother to know what is there in the Hell?
And why not what you seem outside alone can enthrall?
I love you for what you seem and not for what are inside.
I shall be concerned with your pericarp, content in full.
You can keep your endosperm to yourself opaque.

It Really Doesn't Matter
You say your ugly, i say it doesn't matter.
You say you have a dark past,
i say it doesn't matter.
You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,
i say it doesn't matter.
I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.
Through thick and thin where to begin.
You say you don't have a way.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say that you cant give back what you would like.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say, you say oh it really doesn't matter,
I live one day at a time.
Choices will be made that will save the day
but hurt me financially.
It doesn't matter Choice will be made
that will set me back in my expectations.
It doesn't matter,
It really doesn't matter.
Its well worth it.
To see the beauty that
you have placed before me.
Oh how its worth it.
To settle down and not be looking to be found.

Little Blue Bird And The Old Man Under The Tree
and the old man with a sigh murmurs upon himself
'little bird, little bird,
how sweet is your song
how i wish i can listen
some more time'
and the little blue bird high on the tree stops to sing
and looks at the old man with pity
tweeting
'my dear old man
would you like to be a little blue bird some other time? '

mind fillin blues...by Talile Ali
i'm pointing my fingers
everyones at fault
the world is against me
locked deep inside this vault
keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's
completely delusional
totally insane
thinking things are happening
but it's all inside my brain
keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's
believe that you love me
in your very own way
it doesn't really matter
because with me that's ok
keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's
these messed up feelings
inside and blue
because i didn't have the sense
not to fall in love with you
keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's

A Born Survivor
He is old, he is fragile.
He is my grandfather.
He has fought everyone and everything.
He will protect me from illness,
Why can't I do the same?
He survived my mothers' dreadful battles,
His parent's death.
What if he can't survive the cancer?
I want him to live forever and ever,
Two hundred years even!
He said he will love me no matter what I do,
Even if I walk out of my parent's life,
He will support me all the way.
If he dies, I won't survive anything,
Not life,
Not breathing,
My heart will stop beating.

Survival Shake
This is no story its the key of existence
A little thing you better not forget
I dont know nothing bout its a water-resistance
Why dont you use your head
And survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
Survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
So tell me darling what you wanna be
A welcome idiot in an appletree
I shake you up and I shake you down
Down to the ground
To survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
Survive, survive
All you got to do is to survive
You just got one life
All you got to do is to survive
You just got one life
So better be careful boy
Survive, survive, survive...

This Little Bird

Theres a little bird that somebody sends
Down to the earth to live on the wind.
Born on the wind and he sleeps on the wind
This little bird that somebody sends.
Hes light and fragile and feathered sky blue,
So thin and graceful the sun shines through.
This little bird who lives on the wind,
This little bird that somebody sends.
He flies so high up in the sky
Out of reach of human eye.
And the only time that he touches the ground
Is when that little bird
Is when that little bird
Is when that little bird dies.

Save Myself (You Like That? Mix)
Stop
Take a minute take a breath
From the pressure from the need to know why
What makes you a-li-i-i-i-i-i-i-ive
Why do we rely on ourselves
Putting God up on a shelf we depend
On what's left in our hands
It feels right and we believe
There won't be a suddenly
But we keep running faster
Isn't it so nice to think
If we lived in harmony
There'd be a happy ever after
(CHORUS)
It doesn't matter if I
Have faith to move a mountain
Drink the ocean dry
Baby, I could never save myself
It doesn't matter if I
Can reach into the deepest
Corners of my mind
Baby, I could never save myself
Stop
We put God in a box
Spend our time watching the clock while we wait
For a release that will take us away
We come down with a crash
But do we have another chance to go back?
Is that gonna make it OK?
Hold your breath and you will see
In the end you'll have to breathe
But we keep running faster
Fast we forget reality
If you fall you're gonna bleed
There is no happy ever after
(CHORUS)
(BRIDGE)
Falling out under sorrow
Glimpses of the past of
What I used to think and
Who I used to be
I'm realizing all this frailty
That I hide in me
It doesn't matter
If I defy the laws of gravity
The mystery
I could neva save myself
It doesn't matter
If I started over
In my own world
I could neva save myself
It doesn't matter if I, if I, if I I I I I
(Chorus 2xs)
Save myself
Save myself
Save myself
Save myself

I Wish I Had Been Born A Bird...[Personal; Birds; Humor]
My parents were both humans, so I am human too,
but I'd wish to be a bird, if I could be born anew.
Though I 'love' birds, you may think my wish absurd.
But more absurd wishes I'm sure you have heard.
Of course I'm not a bird and never will be.
But if I could talk to birds I could better see
if the life of a bird would really satisfy me.
Eating seeds and bugs and such, and sitting in a tree.
My bird of choice? How would I pick a winner?
Not a penguin, who has to dress for dinner.
Not an ostrich, another flightless bird.
And a strutting peacock might just be absurd.
Perhaps an eagle, soaring high above you,
or a hummingbird, acrobat of the blue.
Or perhaps a mighty swan swimming gracefully,
or a nightingale whistling a concert, free.
For certain I would not choose a caged-life,
though, uncaged, dangers for me might be rife.
I think I'd prefer fresh-kill to old road kill,
and a nest in tree rather than on window sill.
If a bird, I'd not have had to deal with military draft.
Or had others think sometimes that I am daft.
All sorts of human signs and laws I could spurn.
And there'd be no reason to file a tax return.
I'd have no need to wear or ever change diapers,
no need to get gas or change windshield wipers,
no need for lawyers or too many teachers,
no need to listen to rehashing preachers,
no need to plan for death or watch my cholesterol.
As a bird I'd just have to listen to Mother Nature's call.

Fragile (demo 1998)
Four o'clock in the morning
I close my eyes and consider you
Is this some kind of warning
To let me know you're just passing through my life?
It's a good place to be
For someone like you to take solace in me
This is my fragile reality
For someone as eager as you
Can break me in threes
And break through my needs
To get to the dirt
You learned how to hurt... me
Six o'clock in the evening
I brush my hair and will you to know
Is this some kind of teasing?
And are you prepared to be half as true as you try,
As you try hard to be?
Someone so cautious and careful and free
And why are you waiting for me?
You're steady and stable and able to be close to me
I'm strapped to my seat
The tables have turned
You know how they burn right through me
Why do you wrestle with my right to be different from you?
Why do you settle for me if it's not what you wanted to do?
I'm fragile too
I'm fragile too
I'm fragile too
Only with you
Four o'clock in the morning
I hold your head and take care of you
Are these symptoms of touring?
Did someone you love leave you black and blue?
Sometime, somewhere I'll never be
Aware of misfortunes and torture and grief
This life is a good place to be
For someone as fragile as you
I'm fragile too
I'm fragile too
I'm fragile too
But only with you
Only with you
I'm fragile too
But only with you
Only with you
I'm fragile too
But only with you
I'm fragile too (7x)
But only with you
Only with you
I'm fragile too
But only with you.

Does It Matter
Does it matter if the sun doesn't shine
Does it matter if i'm drunk from wine
Most people I see, don't know who I am
Their ways, their life, they try to cram
How I feel doesn't matter to most
I'm very cordial, I'll be their host
What I think doesn't matter anymore
I've swam in life, got washed to shore
My life has been, many hurricanes
With very strong winds and lots of rains
They say life has it's ups and downs
Somedays it's smiles, somedays it's frowns!

Final Thoughts
Final Thoughts
Sigh on to you just lost the blow
Sigh on to you
Sigh on to you My friend
Fell thoughts of soul's descend
Final Thoughts
Sigh on to you My friend
Might be is this the end
The pain hurts the fear inside
Kill be the weak to ride
Countdown to fossil down
Show Me the cancerous meltdown
???, the architects of life
???
Final Thoughts
Sigh on to you My friend
Might be is this the end
Sigh on to you

Transparency
a egg shell
white as
clear skies
on a cloudless day
i hold it
against the sun
to see
if something
alive is
still there
to see
if you still
love me
opaque love
transparencies
of feelings
concealed
pains buried
like egg yolk
inside
this fragile shell

Anoushah
Lazy, crazy, hazy;
But, it is inside your hands.
Severe pressure!
At a time;
One's dream,
One's hope,
One's body;
But, it is inside your hands.
Grey, prey, very, obey, fey, hey;
And like the dead bodies of war! !
But, you need love at your side.
Plague, argue, colleague, league, flue, blue, true;
try to know my name for, i am Anoushah!
However, this muse dates back in time,
And like the first time that we met.

Feeling A Red Brick Wall With My Soft White Hands
red bricks
walls
thick walls
seeing these walls
of red bricks
feeling the hardness
of each
with my soft hands
close my eyes
feel that
i am inside you
a wall
no i don't scream
i moan
and then i am silent
so tired and
asleep
dreaming of windows
red doors
golden locks
platinum keys
wings on my shoulder
feathers of birds
blue skies red suns
blue moons
