Doodle

do not follow my thoughts
for they do not have direction
no place to go
or rest they simply travel anywhere they want to

searching for nothing at all
they merely
watch without even noting what is there to know

free thoughts
like birds flying on the horizon as though they know where home is

know now my dear
that i am but a spectator of my own dreams
sighing
and breathing and wondering all for its own sake

no use no purpose just looking plainly
on the sand feeling the heat and not looking for any cover

The Heart Of Sadness

IT is not, Dear, because I am alone,
For I am lonelier when the rest are near,
But that my place against your heart has grown
Too dear to dream of when you are not here.

I weep because my thoughts no more may roam
To meet, half-way, your longing thoughts of me,
To turn with these and spread glad wings for home,
For the dear haven where I fain would be.

When first we loved, I loved to steal away
To show to solitude what love could do,
To fill the waste space of the night and day
With thousand-wingèd dreams that flew to you;

But now through many tears I am grown wise
To know how mighty and how dear love is;
I dare not turn to him my longing eyes,
Nor even in dreams lean out my face to his,

Because, if once I let my caged heart go
Through dreams to seek you, I should follow too
Through wrong and right, through wisdom and through woe,
Through heaven and hell, until I won to you!

Brave New World

Written by tommy shaw, james young
Lead vocals by tommy shaw
The lines are drawn in the sand across the caress of time
The lines are drawn in the sand across the caress of time
Theres a face in the glass
Looking through the mirror
At the maze of my past
It was never clearer
On the distant horizon
The sun approaches
Better cover my eyes
Better hide the roaches
In the best of my time
There was something better
And the quest of my mind
Was to try and get her
Something simple and pure
As the thoughts in my head
Not the tears in the rain
Over me she shed
We were almost there
Still I was unaware
Here in the brave new worlds embrace
I watch the parade begin
Searching for one familiar face
And I wonder where I fit in
How will I know if theres a place
For me in the brave new world
To be calm in the eye
Of the human storm
In house full of dreams
I am safe and warm
Looking back at a life
Filled with warm embraces
No regrets only memories
Of smiling faces
We were almost there
Now change is in the air
Until now I held the zone
I ruled the world
I called it home
I never saw the down side
See the now see the zen
There is no division
Through the eyes of a child
There is perfect vision
And the best of our lives
Resonate the hills
And the suns gonna shine
And you know that I will...

Sometimes Somewhere

there are times when i simply stand
beside a rail
on a platform that looks out to the sea
that does not exist
seagulls of the mind fly like white foams
fishing
for thoughts and digesting what solid resolves
are.

then the mind becomes a cloud that drifts
on another floating orange horizon
then the body becomes a river looking for
its banks
and then the eyes blink undecided
whether to become a moon
or a star

there are times when i simply sit and watch
time going by
and there is no certain direction

but i simply let all these doubts pass
hoping that they all die
like some kind of martyrs
namelessly

Evening

Beautiful looks the western horizon;
Cinnabar adorns part of God’s creation.
Countless clouds framed in violet colour!
Magnificent looks all creation of the creator!

God-like, the vast red sun rests in the lap of Nature;
The Earth congratulates evening for providing rest to all creatures.
Some birds are coming to rest on banyan tree;
While some, in the sky are still flying free.

With much merriment they fly in the firmament
Feeling the minds of guys and girls with amusement.
Beautiful looks the whole town of Nabarangpur;
Our minds are enchanted and filled with thoughts pure.

Thy creature is endowed with peerless beauty and wonder;
O Lord! At thy feet in awe I surrender.
THANK YOU

Travel Is Not Really About Leaving Our Homes, But Leaving Our Habits

Take a trip with me, -'we' are the destination,
Do not allow this ardor's retreat, do not hesitate
To embrace this most beauteous, everlasting 'vacation';
Let the magnificent feeling inside you, to resonate
To all who see you, to all who know you, and all need know-
Show them that they too, need find their destination, and need go
Now, not at some other time, or in some other place:
'Travel is not really about leaving our homes, but leaving our habits...'**
Life is too short, so when love's beautiful melody inhabits
Our soul, we simply must travel to this place, without delay-
If you do nothing when given this choice, you shall wonder about the day
That you refused to live your dreams, because you allowed fear to steal them!
Your dreams are most certainly your own, but you should never conceal them,
For the sake of anything, especially fear, no matter what form it may take!

Flying

(rod stewart, ron wood, ronnie lane)
Im flying across the ocean
And Im soaring back home
To the place I was born and probably raised.
And Im flying across the mountains and valleys,
Back home to the one that I love so happily.
Can ya blame me for feeling homesick
cause Ive been away such a very long long time ?
I served a while in the county jail, five years for
For bein hungry tired and poor, I got worried so.
On and on this I will follow with your buttons and bows.
On and on this I will follow, all alone,
You know I will follow with your buttons and bows,
With your buttons and your bows.
On and on Im flying across the ocean, going home.
Im flying across the ocean
Goin home, hoo hoo

Under The Water

The bird was
Flying
Under the water...

Under the water
Fishes and frog
Also swmming...

How the birds
are flying...? ? ?

It is not qustine...
You also
Go and see
Any lake...

Sincerly watch it..
Natualy
Birds are flying sky;

Shado will be
Seen under
The water...
Sky also there:

Only way its true
Shadows...
The birds are
Simply flying
Under the water......

Belmore Place

The corner of my street
Too many miles, too tired to sleep
On a plane of dreams and sunbeams
Coming home to belmore place
Fireside flickered lights
A brighter sign of winter pines
I live it up somewhere youll find
Im living up on belmore place
The corner of my dreams
So many thoughts, they sit too deep
On a train I travel on my memories
Coming home to belmore place
Fireside flickered lights
A brighter sign of winter pines
I live it up somewhere youll find
Im living up on belmore place
In the slumber of my sleep
So many thoughts they cover me
A sweet lullaby of melodies
Carried home to belmore place
Fireside flickered lights
A brighter sign of winter pines
I live it up somewhere youll find
Im living up on belmore place

More To Life

Free to turn like the wind on a Summer day
Heart worn like a ring around the moon
And your eyes are ablaze
Reflections of time passing by
That remind you there's much more to life
Than standing still
Or running from place to place in the heat of the day
Just follow your heart and you'll see ....
There's more to life
There beyond the horizon there's another day
Far above the pain and fear you feel
The power and the peace
The greatest sensation of all
There is much more to life than you'll ever know
The rise and fall, there'll always be you and me
We're moving as one
So follow your heart and you'll see ....
There's more to life
We all have our dreams
We all have our visions
But time after time we're faced with decisions
Which road to follow?
How hard to fight?
Then you wake up and see
That there's much more to life
Free in acres of sky on a Summer day
Fire that burns with hope inside your heart
We are never apart
Reflections of time passing by
That remind you there's much more to life
So just follow your heart and you'll see
If you follow your heart you'll be free
'Cos there's more to life
More to life

Still Searching

Im a drifter who has lost his way
And Im still searching for my dream
A wandering nomad with no home to stay
Just like a gypsy or a refugee
Lookin at another sign for another town
Wondering if Im ever gonna settle down
Or am I gonna keep on searchin till my dying day
Chorus:
Still searching, still searching, still lookin, all alone
Till I find myself a home
Still searching, still searching, just like a rolling stone
Destination still unknown
When all my energy starts letting me down
I get this feeling Ill be still wandering round
Still searching, still workin, still lookin
Until I find a way
This world is full of restless souls
Sleeping rough and living day to day
Drifters who left families wondering why they went away
Perhaps thats how I wanna be
While Im looking for some peace of mind
How can I find security?
A restless spirit who cant reach his goal
Cant find a home until Ive found my soul
Still hitchin rides and lookin for a place to go
Chorus
Still searching, still searching, still searching
Until my dying day, oh yeah
Why? yeah
Surprise, surprise
Still searching, still workin, still lookin
Until I find my way
Im a drifter who has lost his way
And Im still searching for my dream

Just Beyond The Rainbow

Just beyond the rainbow
Where the birds fly free,
Is a whole new world for us
A place for you and me
A place we can call home
A place that holds our destiny

Just beyond the rainbow
Is where I will wait
For you to follow
Follow me, and our fate
Away from the cruel world
Where we can live together, as soul mates

Just beyond the rainbow
You will find forgiveness, and peace
I will meet you
Where you'll feel your problems release
And the pain,
Oh, the pain, it starts to decrease

Just beyond the rainbow
Is where I am waiting now
For you to join me in heaven
For the goddess to allow
You to die with me
And together, travel to a place that's... wow!

Thoughts are.......

Thoughts are lovely but deep like sea
It takes you from “I” to “We”
Very deep in sense and encouraging
Generate the ideas but never damaging

Deep and still deep to the depth
Precious things and of so much worth
Must think over before going into deep belt
Full of richness and expectations to be felt

What do the people know about what is inside?
For them it is unlimited and areas wide
It has be explored and nothing to hide
Easy to grasp, simple walk over and free to ride

It can travel forth and back with no limit
Bring along tremendous energy and emit
Ideas to enrich self with mass appeal
No ill will and everything of that sort to repeal

It develops in built human mechanism
Freely come out of ill conceived “ism”
Not to think of selfish motives
All so dear ones as good as relatives

Thoughts take you too far beyond the horizons
Nothing stops it from crossing areas or zones
It has unique way of exerting influence on behavior
Make the individual to for rescue and act as savior

Positive thoughts generate friendly environment
It has recognition from all the corners for any movement
It may find the way with respect for its acceptance
There is heavy and forcible force as substance

It is God gift to have place for thoughts
Senseless things pursued and wars fought
What we gain after so much of bloodshed
Sensible thoughts make us to read in between lines

Mind is like memory box and comes up with little excitation
It has got its own way of inhalation and exaltation
It may retain or harness it with proper say
Sometimes it may guide you to suicidal way

There is no mechanism to be employed for its control
It may emanate from any quarter and enroll
It will find permanent place in the form of stay
It may force the way and take you away

If they were the birds they could stop on some trees
Air their music to be heard in the early hour of bees
Alas! It is uncontrollable and has no direction of its own
Its impact will remain total mystery and completely unknown

Let thought travel faster than sound or light
It may develop the capacity to show its might
It has forceful factor and tremendous presentation
Thoughts are after all thoughts and need no recitation

Two birds on a tree

Look at this old photograph..
some of these old photos look
more ancient than their, what,
hundred-and-twenty years;
as if the very air was different, then?

This one’s simply of
two birds in a tree:
one sits and watches;
the other eats the fruits..

this moment, frozen, framed, in time,
takes on the epic stature
of a metaphor, a myth:
what of the previous second
in our passing time? What
of the next second?
Where have those birds come from,
where may they go next?

If we cease to patronise
their ‘bird-brains’, see them
closer to their God than we
whose minds depart so far from nature…

if we think they think, in thoughts
which we may share – then,
what are they thinking? what
do they think of one another?
I look again at the photo, speculate;
the photo grows in my concern
to some great tree of primal Paradise…
the Tree of Knowledge, could it be?

Is the one bird thinking,
what a fine place this is to rest!
A place to hide, if so need be,
among its leaves; a height,
an observation post,
I still, the world about its business;
in stillness, I a little nearer to God,
just a little lower than the angels,
without beating my wings to find
a heaven above…

Is the other bird thinking,
what a fine restaurant I’ve found,
that God provided; I so hungry
on my way; how much I need to eat
to give me strength for further flight…

and have these two birds even noticed
each other, and each other’s state?
Are they two siblings from the self-same nest,
flying together through their lives;
loving one another until the last birdfall?
Two rivals, just about to fight to death?
Or, two fore-flyers of the same great flock,
about to land and strip the tree of fruit,
then rest, God-filled, to know Him in that stillness?

These thoughts; an ancient photograph;
now I wonder about the unknown photographer
who saw the world, in two birds on a tree.

Houses of Dreams

You took my empty dreams
And filled them every one
With tenderness and nobleness,
April and the sun.

The old empty dreams
Where my thoughts would throng
Are far too full of happiness
To even hold a song.

Oh, the empty dreams were dim
And the empty dreams were wide,
They were sweet and shadowy houses
Where my thoughts could hide.

But you took my dreams away
And you made them all come true --
My thoughts have no place now to play,
And nothing now to do.

Loneliest of All

I suppose my thoughts were always naieve
Believing that when you found that someone
That life would be happy and filled with fun
And, that feeling would remain when she'd leave

Reality set in the day she left
When the joy remained, but sadness set in
Thinking about when I'd see her again
I fear the summer will not be so deft

The irony whipped my heart in a squall
That though I had found the girl of my dreams
And, love, on the horizon, sparkles and gleams
Now she's gone, I'm the loneliest of all

Yet, the horizon nears close everyday
Dear, may we keep this path and never stray

Bedside Manner

Standing by your bed,
I watch you read the dreams,
Dreams I’ve wished and bled.
And I wonder how you live,
Holding thought within your head.
Daring to travel roads,
Down paths I fear to tread.
Still I wait to watch you in motion,
While I can only stand by your bed.
Watching you read my dreams,
Dreams I’ve wished and bled.
And I wonder how I’ve lived,
Forever holding these thoughts within my head.
Scared to travel paths,
Roads you’ve built with stead.
How I wish to lay with you, upon that bed.

Fast thoughts

Siren
Rumble of traffic
Rustle of wind
Singing of birds
Noise of the tv
Cracking and creaking of conservatory
Own soft breathing
Tapping of pen
Rattle of paper
Thoughts

What will this time bring?
What is the phone rings?
Why can't I rid of this hung-over feeling?
What are they doing
And what is he thinking?
Should I feel guilty for sitting and sinking?
Should I be working?
For test that are lurking
What should I wear for work when I'm flirting?
Should I be flirting?
Working my shirt
And being their shine when I know that they hurt?

The sight of my phone
The look of my nails
The book in the background
The newspaper tails

The siren inside
The rumble of words
The rustle of fear
The screaming of thoughts
The need to be free
The cracking and tapping of anxiety
Own soft breathing
Tapping of pen
Rustle of paper
Thoughts

Feeling unhealthy
Fearing the stealthy
Working right now
To one day be wealthy
Making a million
Or giving up bread
The siren of nothing
So loud in my head

Should I get up
And make myself stand?
Make use of this book
This pen in my hand?

Instead I will sit
For a minute of two
And be glad that one day
I'll have nothing to do.

Flying As She Falls

The leaves have turned and she has known
And she tells me she cant let him go
And she looks to the moon for answers
And she looks inside and she knows
She dresses by the window
Finds reflection in the pane
She looks towards the winter
And her hair falls around her like rain
Shes sighing with september
She would like to run and hide
Shes wrapped up in confusion
She unfolds like paper dolls
But shes flying as she falls
The birds have gone and she has known
For she follows the arc of their flight
And the softness has gone from the daylight
And the shadows have grown into night
Shes sighing with september
She would like to run and hide
Shes wrapped up in confusion
She unfolds like paper dolls
But shes flying as she falls
Soon will come cool october
It will rise all around her like fire
And she gathers her courage like harvest
And she gathers her thoughts and desires
Shes sighing with september
She would like to run and hide
Shes wrapped up in confusion
She unfolds like paper dolls
But shes flying as she falls
She will not run and hide
She will take it all in stride
And she will
She will
She will be flying as she falls

Fountain Of Life

(j.p. maunick)
Chase the sunrise, people come together
Feel the glory of the new day
Feed the feeling, gather friends and strangers
Come together make it stay this way
Chorus:
Looking for the fountain of love
We fell into a cool paradise (he yeah hey yeah)
The rythm of the sand and the sea
Is where weve always wanted to be
Ive been looking
(looking for the fountain of love)
Searching
(fell into the cool paradise)
Ive been in search of paradise
(the rythm of the sand and the sea)
Sand and sea
(where weve always wanted to be)
Wanted
Always, wanted
Always searching for a new direction
Your heart desires a better state of mind
Mother nature will provide the feeling
In the sunshine, happiness youll find
Chorus
Weve been holding on
Waiting for this day to come our way
Holding on
Weve been holding on
Waiting for the light to shine our way
(holding on)
Always waiting
