Dinner For Alfalfa
let me introduce you
to Alfalfa
my girlfriend
she is 69
and still sexy
and rich
and she says
she cannot live without me
and i take her
to dinner
at her expense
of course
because she
has the money
and for dinner
she orders
soup # 5
garlic rice
hot chili sauce
jumbo hotdogs
and
cow's tongues
for stew
(u huh?
you expect some more
i stop here)
we are going
for a date
i am 87
and it is none
of your business)
just the viagra
without the
condoms
and yes Alfalfa
my dear
for breakfast
tomorrow)

Breakfast In America
Take a look at my girlfriend
Shes the only one I got
Not much of a girlfriend
Never seem to get a lot
Take a jumbo across the water
Like to see america
See the girls in california
Im hoping its going to come true
But theres not a lot I can do
Could we have kippers for breakfast
Mummy dear, mummy dear
They got to have em in texas
Cos everyones a millionaire
Im a winner, Im a sinner
Do you want my autograph
Im a loser, what a joker
Im playing my jokes upon you
While theres nothing better to do
Dont you look at my girlfriend
Shes the only one I got
Not much of a girlfriend
Never seem to get a lot
Take a jumbo cross the water
Like to see america
See the girls in california

But theres not a lot I can do

Sugar bush I want you
Sugar bush I want you
sounds magically from the
alfalfa field
where small blue flowers
are between the green
and a sweet smell
rise in my nose
and the sky is bright blue
as if summer
is holding a festival,
but it’s your deep blue eyes
that draws my glance
and your blond curls
hanging out beneath
your straw hat.
Maybe I have to tell more
about a boy and a girl
meeting each other
in the alfalfa field,
but everyone already knows
where these words go...

Point Of View
Thanksgiving dinner's sad and thankless
Christmas dinner's dark and blue
When you stop and try to see it
From the turkey's point of view.
Sunday dinner isn't sunny
Easter feasts are just bad luck
When you see it from the viewpoint
Of a chicken or a duck.
Oh how I once loved tuna salad
Pork and lobsters, lamb chops too
'Til I stopped and looked at dinner
From the dinner's point of view.

Dinner
i see how loneliness opens its mouth
and swallows you whole
there is this dinner
and you are
what is served to its hunger
and thirst and you do not even make a sound
when you are gone
into the deepest throat
of emptiness
there is no sound
there is only the willingness to be lost
and to be forgotten
loneliness ate you for dinner
and i will be its breakfast tomorrow morning

Duet
Milestone:
All my troubles disappear,
When the dinner-bell I hear,
Over woodland, dale, and fell,
Swinging slow with solemn swell,---
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Hippy:
What can bid my heart-ache fly?
What can bid my heart-ache die?
What can all the ills dispel,
In my morbid frame that dwell?
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Both:
Hark!---along the tangled ground,
Loudly floats the pleasing sound!
Sportive Fauns to Dryads tell,
'Tis the cheerful dinner-bell!
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!

A Situationer.....
he has been writing
he is thinking and then she calls him for dinner
there is a blackout
and she lights a candle so he can see the fumes of steamed rice
the green color of braised morning glory
he is silent and she does not ask
she does not know whether he has been writing a lot
whether he is lost in the maze of his thoughts
she has cooked dinner for him
she calls his name
it is dinner time and that is the most important hour
she trusts him
he is dying
the needed light for the evening did not come
there are no stars outside the window

direct from Orlando
at the balcony
he smokes his cigar hiding from the view
of his wife who is washing the dishes after we had dinner
over stuffed squid and
fish fillet
what i like is the rice
i evaded the hide and seek of what i think is still harsh
direct from Orlando
lost business
unpaid mortgage
bad economy
they blame it on
bad economy
as he smokes
circles form above his head
and from time to time he peeks at the side of the door
seeing to it that no one sees him
i am not that dumb
to know that there is a big problem
the reason why they are back
i like the sauce
the chili that runs like a jagged knife inside my mouth
he is jobless
and does the laundry and kitchen works
children had to quit school and start to work
to pay the heater and the water
snow is cold, it is colder now
meanwhile i glanced at the sunset
the balcony overlooks the bay of Dapitan
once a hero and a white woman made love there
we knew the ending
it was sad.

High Fashion
I know a sexy little girl
She's never in the low class world
This woman is all the way vogue
High Fashion is where her money goes
She dines at Le Dome up on the strip
Cheap liquor never touches her lips
Her brandy's imported every week
No problem, 7,000 easy
High Fashion is where her money goes
High Fashion - This girl is all the way vogue
She's never in the low class world
High Fashion - Stuck up little rich girl
High Fashion
High Fashion, yeah
I met her dancin' at Le Dome
I offered dinner at my home
She said no, all of her friends laughed
Funny how the laughin' stopped when I flashed all the cash I had
(I'm talkin') $1900 is 2 much cash 2 hold
One of my boys had 2 carry half, now honey U know that's bold
Wait a minute
She had the nerve 2 ask what kinda car I had
"Honey, I'm ridin' in back of a Rolls Royce limo custom-painted plaid!"
High Fashion is where my money goes
High Fashion - Honey, I'm all the way vogue
I'm never in the low class world
High Fashion - And I just love little rich girls
(High Fashion) High Fashion (High Fashion)
Hot Station - I took the child 2 my crib
Donation - Do U take or do U give?
She took one look at the swimmin' pool
I said "I'll donate" - We were 2 swimmin' fools
High Fashion is where our money goes
High Fashion - All the way vogue
We're never in the low class world
High Fashion - Don't be a little stuck up rich girl
All the way vogue {x2}
I'm all the way vogue
Yeah, yeah
(High Fashion) {repeats in BG}
Dinner at Le Dome
Little girl
Money man
I'm the money man
Money man {x2}
High Fashion {x4}
Ohhhhh
(High Fashion) {x2

Candy for Breakfast
MMM!
candy for breakfast!
cake for dinner!
all such a wonderful
idea
I dont care
if I get cavities
I just want some
more sweets!
MMM! main course comming up
sweet tarts, delicious,
but I'd rather have
just a few taffys
Why not throw in a few
sprinkles, hershys, taffys,
cream, cake, sugar, vanilla
MMM! candy for breakfast
why not lunch?
or dinner?
midnight snake for sure
But i dont want to
get too carried away, right?

Togetherness Is Gone
My wife,
Stop cleaning the house
Please come here
To accompany me
My husband,
The house is dirty
We aren't able to pay the maid
You've already retired
My wife,
Don't cook
It's a holiday
Let us eat outside the home
My husband,
Don't eat outdoors
We need efficient
You've already retired
My wife,
Let's keep me company
Why the rush to sleep
It's still early
My husband,
I have to get up early
To clean the house
And prepare breakfast
My wife,
I have to go this morning
My friends were waiting
Long we don't meet
My husband,
Be careful on the road
Greetings for your friends
But, why not breakfast?
My wife,
You have fallen asleep last night
I see you sleeping soundly all
I don't have the heart to wake you
My husband,
I'm sorry
I don't welcome you home
But, why should sleep on the sofa?
My wife,
I have to go again
I have social activities
With my old friends
My husband,
Don't forget dinner at home
You look very dapper
Although not wear perfume
My wife,
sorry, we were very busy
I had dinner with friends
Happy dinner, dear
My husband,
I woke up too early
But you're not at home
Where are you?
My wife,
I came home at midnight
I have to go early in the morning
I don't have the heart to wake you
My husband,
I just finished washing clothes
I've found the clothes that you wear today
But, why the smell of perfume?

an eggplant covers my plate
fried with eggs, onions, garlic
could be omelette's from east
pack with fibers; good for me
with red chili pepper; little hot
i would be drinking water lots
i never forget to have cup of rice
could be a filler in my stomach
was told too much carbohydrates
but i do lots of physical events
tomorrow would be walking golf
yes exercise does body good

Breakfast In Malaysian Stalls
Listening to the radio DJs,
Driving through the traffic
This match is quite all right,
When these guys poke fun,
At one another and with public,
The sun is just awake,
Chasing the darkened thoughts,
Bright yellow spike, so soft,
The arrival of another morning,
As the windows start to open,
To allow the fresh air in,
The smell of freshly brewed coffee,
Fragrant coconut rice with fried anchovies,
Sliced cucumber, sambal and egg,
That is served under the cool trees.
The early birds drive to these haunt,
To have their breakfast,
Under the pleasant sun,
The breeze move around them,
To bring the heaven to earth,
Young and old, rich and poor,
Everyone wants to sit in the open air,
To have their breakfast and dinner,
On this land, where my mother was born,

Her Qualms
she had dinner with me
and she talked about some priests and sinners
i think she is refined in some ways
the way she handles her fork and her forte
the rumors of the town
and the rest of those who profess innocence
pretended to pay attention
there were names and places and secret events
and trysts of some characters like they are in the play
of Tennessee Williams
and she carefully assesses the merits of their wounds
their tragedies surely are not hers
she does not eat much but her face swells
her stomach bloating and she burps like she is one kind
of a healthy baby
after the dinner
despite her expensive earrings
we in the house are unanimous in saying
she is the kind of character who must not have
another dinner with us
perhaps she must have breakfast
and we think she deserves to be
with Sophocles

Taking You Down Memory Lane
.
It is time to take you down memory lane
With the hit t. v. series “Spanky and our gang”.
They were on for many a year
They gave us laughter and a few tears.
There was Spanky, alfalfa, buckwheat
Froggy and Darlene, and we can’t forget
The teacher Mrs. Crabtree.
Alfalfa with his one strand of greased up hair
Standing straight up - two pounds of grease
And still not enough.
Spanky was the leader- he was short and round
Any problems, he had to be found.
Buckwheat was the daring young guy
He would do anything for a ride.
Then there was Froggy - his name says it all
Like a frog his voice did fall
Darlene with her shoulder length hair
And the voice of an angel from above
Had the “ our gang” all in love.
OH! The t. v. series that we used to watch
Like “ I love Lucy” and “ the honeymooners”
And “our hit tunes” with all the crooners.
What about “ Laurel and Hardy” and
“Abbott and Costello”
The two most comical fellows.
This is the trip down memory lane
And you know it’ll never be the same.

Meet Me After Dinner
Meet me after dinner.
After all has been dished and served!
Meet me after dinner here...
If you have the nerve!
My ex-wife is a memory,
And my boyfriend has long been gone.
Only they could bring that 'freak' out of me...
That sweet freak!
Others deny and hide discreetly,
As they get their own groove on.
~Day and night long!
Not caring who says,
What they share is wrong! ~
Yeah...
You meet me after dinner.
I can picture you gnawing,
On those big beef bones!
Finish what you're doing.
I'm the one you should be screwing.
Meet me after dinner here...
And let's stop faking,
We don't desire naked love making.
Meet me after dinner,
And release those phone moans.
Your mate doesn't hear,
Or care who's heart is breaking!
Since I yearn for you,
With me alone!
Nibbling on your neck,
I want to hear you coo...
In licked whispers
Sighing,
In passionate delicious croons.
I do. Yes..I do.
Reflected in silhouette,
Our beads of sweat glistens.
Under the glow of the moon!
Meet me after dinner...
And I'll have dessert,
Perked and ready...
In the master bedroom!

Johnnie's in the Bathroom
Dear Diary,
I was standing in a bus stop today and they must have known I wanted to be
a model, so I'm gonna call them tomorrow. Won't be long before I'm in all
the big rock videos. The most incredible thing happened to me in Odella last
weekend; that's why I'm writing. You see, I met this guy...
Hey, wow
Wow, what's going on up there?
Did you have dinner yet?
Who wants dinner when you can get a goddamn good dick up your ass?
(laughs)
Oh, I need you girl
Huh?
I need you girl
You need me, boy?
Yeah....yeah, I need you too
Huh?
I need you too, baby
Dear Diary,
I can't write a lot; Johnnie's in the bathroom. I met him in Shasta tonight
and he's just incredible. He's got this long, straight, black hair and he
wears all this silver jewelry, velvet pants, black boots, etc.
I love your big muscles
It's a lickable pussy
Hi baby, how you doin?
Well, all y'all want some pussy?
Well, all y'all grab on the Soul Train line and get it

Look good in pink
‘I Look Good in Pink’
All day I’m stuck
To the kitchen sink
Or cleaning the toilet
To get rid of the stink
Making breakfast
Dinner or tea
So that they will
All love me
Make their beds
Wash their clothes
Their dirty socks
Makes me hold my nose
So that they will love me
Partner wakes up
Has breakfast
Then goes to work
The children play with their food
Go of to school
This muck, no, thank you
How rude
Partner comes home
Has their dinner
In front of the telly
Or the computer
Then they fall asleep
Oh how I could weep
Saturday night
Down the pub
Suddenly they come alive
Come here dear; high five
Then comes the little wink
And darling you look good in pink
That was the final straw
To tell a man
He looks good in pink
In front of his mates
Put away some more beers
Need to sulk; have a think
It’s hard to be a house-husband
However! I do look good in pink
