Candid Talk.....
she took a
handkerchief and
tied it round her neck
her niece said the prayers
saying it was caused by
mere feelings
feelings end
everything sometimes
and it is no wonder
it is acceptable nowadays
the sad fact is no one
wants to mention it
and so
it simply forgets itself
like water boiling and
evaporating and
what is left is
the cold tin of
a can
in our chat
you blame me for taking about
endings
that i should have
mentioned more about
sunlit beginnings
grazing fields and
limitless horizons of green
and blue
and flaming sunsets
that make our
mouths gape
for
beauty
i tell you i am
not a story teller
i am a poet
and endings
are not open
most of the times
sometimes they are
insults that one must bear
even in one's
self dug graves
there is always a responsibility
that must be gripped by our hands
and if these hands open
and surrender respect
to some
insignificant handkerchiefs
so be it
sadness is not a reason
and it is not always
beautiful
so be it
let those who cannot bear
bury themselves
we have our own preoccupations
our graves to dig too
our our litany of justifications

Eternity
we are under the full moon
tonight and we look for some
tiny stars glittering in the skies
our vision dissolving into such
a vast space where we see
no endings no beginnings
we soon close our eyes and there we
too see no endings no beginnings
limitless to the skies
limitless to the heart

We Believe In Happy Endings (feat. Earl Thomas Conley)
(Bob McDill)
Who can tell just how it starts
Angry words and broken hearts
Till silently we sit apart
You and I
But in awhile the anger's gone
And we forget who's right or wrong
Then one of us will end it all
With just a smile
We believe in happy endings
Never breaking
Only bending
Taking time enough for mending
The hurt inside
We believe in new beginnings
Giving in
And forgiving
We believe happy endings
You and I
Just a word is all it takes
And so it pass
The silence breaks
And looking back it makes us ache
For what we've done
And so we cling together now
And wonder why we're oh so proud
When all that matters anyhow
Is our love
We believe in happy endings
Never breaking
Only bending
Taking time enough for mending
The hurt inside
We believe in new beginnings
Giving in
And forgiving
We believe in happy endings
You and I

Beautiful Feelings
Things get stuck in my head
And theyre taking me nowhere
And sometimes its hard
Just to find what you need
But lately Im feeling
Something goods come around
Cause she just takes me way up
And she wont let me down
And beautiful feelings are starting again
And all of my heartaches are starting to mend
And beautiful feelings are there til the end
So I open them up and I let them in
Well I needed to feel
That Im destined for something
And I need to get down on my knees
More and pray
And I need to feel a warm body near mine
When I wake in the morning
Suddenly to find
That beautiful feelings are starting again
And all of my heartaches are starting to mend
And beautiful feelings are there til the end
So I open them up and I let them in
I get feeling guilty
For climbing too high
Im looking for problems
That just dont apply
And beautiful feelings are starting again
And all of my heartaches are starting to mend
And beautiful feelings are there til the end
til beautiful feelings die

Quickened Endings Speeds The Change
Quickened endings speeds the change.
And games played once reliable...
No longer,
Remain the same.
Quickened endings speeds the change.
Knock down those blocks,
And...
Open up what's been locked.
Quickened endings speeds the change.
Don't try to cease them.
Hoping to keep...
Whole and complete in one piece,
A picture wanted perfect...
But,
Soon from you to leave.
Soon you will believe!
Quickened endings speeds the change.
Let what was known go!
And....
Don't try to cease this speed.
Quickened endings speeds the change.
And games played once reliable...
No longer remain.
So...
Knock down those blocks,
And...
Open up what's been locked.
It's futile to keep clinging,
To meanings coming to a stop!
Quickened endings speeds the change.
And...
Don't try to cease them,
With a picture held to keep.
Quickened endings speeds the change.
And...
Don't try to cease them,
With a picture held to keep.
Quickened endings speeds the change.

No, No, No,
Last night woke in bed
In a cold cold sweat so sweaty so funky
Dreamin' of bad things to be or not to be
Haunting things like homelessness all the lonely people
Without a job car or food to eat
Leaves you a little bit paranoid well well
Can you spare a dime
But it reminds me how easily
We let our fears affect who we are
No no no can't come back
No bad feelings no no no
No sad feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no
No insecure feelings
No no no can't come back
No ill feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no
No ego trippin' no no no
No insecure feelings
No no no can't come back
Had a friend in desperate need
Of a little attention compassion you see
Did i mention that friend was me nope
Who'd just broken up from a love affair well well well well
I must admit i was truly hurt
And i couldn't change the facts and that's a fact
He loves her more than he loves me
And it's truly just as simple as that
No no no can't come back
No bad feelings no no no
No sad feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no
No insecure feelings
No no no can't come back
No ill feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no
No ego trippin' no no no
No insecure feelings
No no no can't come back
Don't care what other people say
Don't listen to them anyway
Can't let the evil get it's way
Don't let bad feelings make you pay
Don't care what other people say
Don't listen to them anyway
Can't let the evil get it's way
Don't let bad feelings make you pay
No bad feelings no no no
No sad feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no
No insecure feelings
No no no can't come back
No ill feelings no no no
No jealous feelings no no no

When 'It' Comes
A journey within an inner beauty.
Is that what comes...
When our days here are done?
An eternal mystic voyage...
Beyond Creation
Where mental translations
Are transferred
In a spiritual awareness intact!
Are we on track for that?
It's rumored that death is perceived
To be something much more,
Much more than taking a nap!
But no one,
In fact...
Has ever returned from 'that' to come back!
A journey within an inner beauty.
Is that what comes...
When our days here are done?
There is no 'If' about it...
Something comes to change everything!
Changing everyone,
When 'It' comes.
Bringing everything back to ONE.
Back to where beginnings,
In fulfillment spinning endings...
Begun!

My Hands
my hands have ten rivers
there are furrows of sorrows in the destiny of my palms
no mountain peaks to view the world
holistically,
my hands have ten crystal clear ponds
my hands mirror my face
my hands surrender
my hands open
they are all yours too and you are so cruel
you are telling me like you detest me in the residence of your full moon
you do not need rivers, you had enough of my surrender, you are ashamed
of open hands, you touch me and then you make a plea
'please close your hands and with your ten rivers, please sail away from me! '
i know what a full moon is. I too had enough of its light and silence.
i have the nerves of the stars, and i know what sailing away means.
let me thank you for your dark skies, your clouds are too heavy for me.
i am raining tears, too salty for my ten rivers.

Lie In Our Graves
When I step into the light my arms open wide
When I step into the light my eyes searching wild
Would you not like to be
Sitting on top of the world with your legs hanging free
Would you not like to be ok, ok, ok
When were walking by the water
Splish splash me and you taking a bath
When were walking by the water
Come to my toes to my ankles to my head to my soul
Then Im blown away
When were walking by the water
Splish splash me and you taking a bath
When were walking by the water
Come to my toes to my ankles to my head to my soul
Then Im blown away
I cant believe that we would lie in graves
Wondering if we had spent our living days well
I cant believe that we would lie in graves
Wondering what we might of been
I cant believe that we would lie in graves
Wondering if we had spent our living days well
I cant believe that we would lie in graves
Wondering what we might of been
Would you not like to be
Would you not like to be
I cant believe that you would not like to be
Would you not like to be
Ok, ok, ok,
Ok, ok, ok,
Ok, ok, ok,
Ok, ok, ok,
Dont dance away

What if we finally meet
what when we finally meet
it's cold like winter
between me and you
a mere stone to reflect
the wonderful time
we have for each other
and my words like summer wind
sailing the warm expanse of
your bossom
i will send a smile that refracts tears
from another realm
bear with me, bear with me
bear with the drizzle, the drizzle
bear with the hands of nature
as they turn the wheel of fate

Lost Horizons
The last horizons I can see are filled with bars and factories
And in them all we fight to stay awake...
Drink enough of anything to make this world look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves
She had nothing left to say so she said she loved me
I stood there grateful for the lie...
Drink enough of anything to make this girl look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves
Turn summer trees to bones and ice
Turn insect songs against the night
With words we build and words we break
Im drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves...
Drink enough of anything to make myself look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves

Forget It All
Forget the rainbows and the pots of gold at the end of them
Forget the happy endings at the end of the fables
Forget happy times and joyous smiles too
Forget it all, this happy story’s not meant for you
Forget what you remembered
About the warm fuzzy feelings
Of happy people and happy days
Good times and fun-filled nights
Forget it all
Nightmares will now take over
Forget it all
Life will now take over
Not much to be happy about now
As you begin to forget it all
Metaphors and similes
Of what’s good and right
Will soon be replaced
By the darkness of the night
Stand proud and tall
For the stories to be told
Of the rise and the fall
Will now be scary and so very cold
At the end of the story
Long before it gets too gory
Once and for all
Please
Forget it all

Tribute To The Beautiful Woman Of My Life
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so they say. Beauty attracts. Beauty is lik
e a pollen grain that attracts. Beauty appeals to the human senses. Beauty ma
kes life palatable. Beauty grants you favor. Beauty open doors. Beauty makes
you glowing for friendship. Beauty make people to always appreciate you. Bea
uty make people extend their hands of fellowship to you. Beauty make people
head turn to look or roll to gasp for air. Beauty make people run over themselves
. Beauty gives accolade and respect.Ho! Beauty Ho!
Beauty Ho! Beauty Ho! Beautiful lady i have given my heart to you
. I have given you my body my total being belongs to you. I am your all in all.Y
our beauty drives me crazy. Your beauty makes me abnomal at times.I cannot c
ontrol myself. I know the thing dey do me!
Do me! Do
me! Your multitude of words should have frighten the men but men still fall on o
ne another to win your love, should your empty talk make men hold their peace
? And when you mock should no one rebuke you. If i say i did not notice your b
eauty as well i deceive myself and posterity will not forgive me for that. If you will prepare your heart, and stretch out your hands toward me and accept me whole heartedly as your only beloved husband, i will fly to the moon because of you, surely you will lift up your face without a spot; yes you would be steadfast and not fear; because you will forget your misery and remember it as water that have passed away. Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Though you were dark, you will be like the morning, and you will be secure because there is hope; yes you would dig around you and take your rest in safety. You would also lie down and no one, i repeat no one would make you afraid, yes many would count your favor. I say with my whole sense of sincerity, tribute to the beautiful woman i love.

Face Up
Ever since Ive seen your face
This life of mine has gone to waste
I was young and you were old
And I always knew you were cold
At the start you had a heart
But in the end you lost your friend
Can you see your own dark face?
Its dieing in a lonely place
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
As we get old, we lose our place
Reflecting back the worlds disgrace
I feel so low, I feel so humble
Sometimes in life we take a tumble
Dont let anybody tell you that youre no good
Cause you know they would
Dont let anybody tell you what you should do
Cause its not that way and...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
You were me and I was you
This world of ours it felt brand new
You took me a little further...
I heard it all before, Ive heard it all before
I cant hear it anymore
Your hair was long, your eyes was blue
Guess what Im gonna do to you
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure...

2010/04/05 Respect (Rev.)
I never blame you for mistakes or nag you when you drink
if irrational feelings overwhelm you my defence is immediate
explaining your weird behaviour, making peace with your
possessive jealousy masquerading as expediency
Yet when I err and walk away you attack, blaming me,
point unsatisfactory behaviour, reciting a litany of sins I am
prone to commit, delineating in which ways I let you down,
nagging and grumbling while drinking red wine -
Your alcohol consumption might equate to my ingesting
allergenic foodstuffs, yet while you are always tacitly
exonerated you blame me as soon as you can get in a
salvo because I did not seem compliant, did not agree
Hang on - I confessed I ate bread today, you simply changed
tack and attacked anew: How DARE I mention the allergy, I
have no right to hide behind that effect – though you can use
any excuse for doing as you please
I take a myriad of pills to combat symptoms,
soon I will be my old lenient self again, accept
all accusation and guilt, agree that it is me who
should be condemned
And you go free as the most innocent, loving person who
ever lived in this world; a basis for the respect that is due
to you – I insist on self-respect and respect for others
I shall respect you and all you do – while I am here...

Observations...
Observation is what it means to be a poet,
And the nip held is the key to show it..
Whenever the eyes enable one to write on,
The one slides the pen for the heart to be light on..
The hands can't deny when the eyes see,
They see the nature's amazing beauty..
And the heart does partake in the letters of one..
And the feelings go right till brain says 'WELL DONE'!
Just like the moon's beauty* reflected it..
Beautiful* shook myself off, the beauty deflected it..
And the loneliness* felt in the All-fans Shut..
Tells that the feelings emerge till the Beats are cut..
When the breeze ruffles one's hair
And the rain contributes to the share,
The feelings of observation stimulate the hand..
And the nip does the rest and ovations do stand..
With the letters go and the rhythm overlaps,
And each line goes one by one like race's laps..
The rhyme don't need vocab; the feelings do all..
For the Observations keep it upto the soul...

Feelings... And More Feelings that Go Away...
in my hands are feelings
they are sand
spilling away
more like water in character
you want to touch it
but the sooner you believe
that they can stay
they have already left
and gone
away...
feelings are strangers
going places
how can they ever stay
faithful
to the hands
even if warmth is still there
even if
you tell them
how you need them to stay

You Don't Know The 'None' Of It
You don't know the 'none' of it.
Guess work does not make it exist.
To say you understand,
When blisters appear on my hands?
You don't know the 'none' of it.
Not with these feelings felt I command.
You don't know the 'none' of it.
You can hear and choose to listen.
But these wounds I bear.
And from them you are distant.
I appreciate the thoughts you share.
And your caring shown I am aware.
But you don't know the 'none' of it.
That's why I insist this chat we chit,
Leave us to land elsewhere defined and planned.
I rather not discuss,
A subject that makes me cuss.
