Between This Body And This Soul
my body thirsts for water
my soul thirsts for another
my soul immersed my soul entwined
my body grows my soul static as a thought
i shift from one channel to another
body to soul, soul to body,
the body's nature to sin
the soul's quest to heaven
God is in between.

Soul’s relation to body
I love you; who is ‘I’- soul or body?
I won over your heart; you stole my heart.
Heart- do we mean the corporal one?
Soul, the fire, catches the body, the wood.
Soul to soul and body to body, no love sparks.
Soul in body loves soul in body.
Souls or bodies exclusively love not.
Soul and body are not like air and balloon.
Soul and body is like heat and body.

Death is a divorce
Death is a divorce.
The soul and the body are separated.
The soul escapes; the body decays.
Who is the cause: the soul or the body?
‘It is the body’, accuses the soul,
‘As it went unfit.’ ‘It is the soul’
Reprimands the body, ‘which found me stale.’
Who is the male: the soul or the body?
‘Male is the body’ complains the soul,
‘In whose home I entered as a bride.’
‘Male is the soul’ retorts the body,
‘Who deserted me to seek the other.’
Death is the divorce,
Where both separate.

For literature sake.
When the body ages, does the soul do?
When the body gets wounds, does the soul suffer?
Are body and soul like sac and air?
Not so obviously.
Are body and soul like flesh and heat?
Might be.
Does not soul die when body dies, then?
Heart is not the seat of emotion, but brain.
Soul is not distinct to be treated so.
Yet soul is distinct for literature sake.

Soul has an extra mileage
Soul and body: who depends on who?
Soul and body: who adds values to who?
Whom do you regard: soul or body?
Who is the cause of your actions?
Does soul departs for body decays?
Does body decays for soul departs?
Soles alone are ghosts; bodies alone are corpses.
Soul and body together gain values.
Must soul have an extra mileage?

Body And Soul
rise with me this body of mine
sail with me o' soul of thine
for mine is a matter of time
to mold a body of mine
and have a kind
i prefer, as without me
there is none, and without you
there is no me
send me a sense to my body
o' body of mine
a friend and shadow of mine
without a dime
take me from wrong to conformity
lead me from animosity
unchain my soul from vanity
for mine is a body and soul
detach me from the unknown
shine on me o' body and soul
bring me a blessing to my soul
connect and share with me o' body of mine
laugh and talk with me so fine
run and steady with me so divine
the body of my soul and awhile
take me back to my body as a child
...possibly not! i presume...
if i die, you too die
and there is no more of me then
from whence to the end
for i live(d) with you 'til then

Of The Body And Soul...
upon a fusion, you live immersed
conscious about a self within a self
(as in soul bathed in a body,
body trapped by the roaming soul)
sometimes you sigh
this body is so beautiful and my soul has wasted it,
if i (soul) were just enough,
a transfer should have been made a long time ago
liberating this body and letting it find its own definition of joy
the soul is selfish, having entered it has no key for the exit
these two have been too irreconcilable
everyday is an argument, every night a disillusion
fate, bad luck, inseparability, the absurdity of having to live
on immiscible arrangements
water and oil, sky and earth
the days are running, there is nothing detachable.

Value your soul
The soul and the body aren’t separate.
They’re as integrated as body and heat.
To love or hate a person is soul’s act.
To love or hate a thing is body’s act.
Soul, not body, experiences shame.
Body, not soul, ignores guilt and qualms.
Value the soul to value yourself.

My Soul
My soul is not the coward
that my body seems to be.
For my soul does remember
that my body will be free,
free of all its fears and fright
while passing through this earth,
free to experience once again
a brand new type of birth.
My soul is always patient.
Sometimes my body's not.
For my soul exists forever
while my body's just a dot
in the vastness of experience
that's come and gone for me.
And so patiently I'm learning
to acquire tranquility.
My soul will never leave me
as seasons come and go.
But my body will finally say adieu
to happiness and woe.

Soul Please Understand
Soul, you must understand
how this body sleeps with you.
Soul, you must remember
it has separate manners with you.
Soul, learn the sensual pleasures
of this body, its twists and turns,
its crooked ways, its perverted ways,
its insatiability, even its evil ways,
Soul, you have all the patience,
when the body is rested before its
time is over, Soul, awaken it,
shake it, let it shed off its dusts
of errors, its stains of lusts,
wash it with fasting, and repentance
Soul, be wise, and kind enough to
save this Body, until it rusts and
to dust it shall return, and Soul
when you go up there, Forget.

Foolish Pleasure
Pleasing the body is quite a feat.
It's life's biggest quest.
Pleasing the soul is a bigger feat
for the soul knows you best.
You cannot hide the crimson blush.
It's the body's tell-tale sign.
You cannot see the heartened rush
for the soul's pleasure is devine.
It's beyond the pleaure the body feels
for the body is a fickle fool.
But the pleasure of the soul is lasting.
It follows every rule.
But oh that foolish pleasure
that makes us who we are
seems so stong. It is hard to stop.
It's end is way too far,
far from realitry, close to insanity
and still the body is bold.
Some say it's foolish. I say no
for the pleasure undoes the cold.
The soul abides and patiently waits
and knows the time will come
when foolish pleasure is temporary
for the body will succumb.

The body has all merits
Imagine there is no temple where it is.
Imagine there is no tomb where it is.
The space underneath the both is same.
Imagine the soul casts its holy body.
Imagine the soul casts its lowly body.
Which do you hate: the soul or the body?
If body, the body sans soul is a corpse.
We still love and hate one’s body alone.

Souls are born
Souls are born leaders-
But a stranger's come calling,
Trying to open a door;
For sure opening windows.
Soul's all dressed up,
Body lagging behind
Following the bright lights,
Like shepherds hunting babies.
Body the sluggard; body the receptacle
Of so much light, amid time-crazed journeys;
Body follows maps, soul the guiding stars..
Soul knows not where the body's going
But only what happens, when it gets there.

No individual soul
Which- the soul or body-
Is the cause of one
To be holy or lowly?
Which- the soul or the body-
Is the cause for the king
To down and the traitor to crown?
Which- the soul or the body-
Is the seat of genes
That transmits features?
Soul and body are co-born
Ever since when life was born.
At no stage, be birth, embryo,
Zygote or gametes that fuse,
Was the life born for the soul
To enter the body at birth,
And part at death.
Death is no more than
A death of a twig of the tree.

Heart Body And Soul
the soul knows
the body
which the body
doesn't sometimes
the heart beats
and knows the
state of the soul
you see the eyes
of the heart
as the soul feels
the beatings of
your heart
when the body sleeps
the soul practices
its journey to the
gate of the heart
as the heart shies
away from the
reasoning of the
body

This is my body
This is my body that you see
It is beautiful carved by God’s hands
Smoothened by His breaths
You will love it and want to have it
To touch and caress
To be feasted upon by the hunger
Of your eyes and thirst of your lips
To be rubbed by the coldness of your body
Seeking the warmth of my flesh
This is my body that you will first see
But there is more in me than my body
This soul that seeks your soul
This beautiful soul that seeks the beauty of your soul
The hands of my spirit reaching out to your invisible hands
They have all for years been longing to clasp
My soul longing to be with your soul
So they can be together
To be fused with each other as one
To be happy and calm and perfect
To that final place where this body
Shies away because something more beautiful
Inside it shines and glows and becomes
So beautiful in all eternity

A Hungry And Thirsty Soul
a hungry and thirsty soul
how can a body then look so beautiful?
how can you satisfy a hungry and thirsty soul?
how can it die? the body asks
how can a soul so beautiful and forgiving be
in such a dirty, emaciated and bleeding body?
how can this body conceal such a hungry and thirsty soul?
look into the pool of my soul, and find if your light
can penetrate therein without bending

A battle between soul and death
My body has become a battle field,
Battle, a fierce battle, I cried in pain,
As death comes and fights to pull the soul,
Nothing happens as death has no gain.
I have been a heart and gastric patient,
My body burns with a wound of heart,
And my heart burns with it's own light,
But soul and death wrestle part to part.
A great war took place in my body,
Death violently ordered to the soul to surrender,
But soul is not ready to surrender then war began,
Many souls and deaths saw the war and wonder.
What about my body? I shouted at them,
My body has been burning since long,
Listening this, death laughed and soul hit it,
Soul told me that “death is going to do you wrong”.
You go away otherwise the death harms you,
Soul strongly pushed to the death and saved me,
I forever pray to God to give strength to my soul,
I am very thankful to my soul to protect me like a bee.

The Body And The Soul
i hear the body speak through its mouth
there is no God
there is no God
i see the body wasting itself
like a tree whose roots are eaten by the fungus
but inside that body is the soul that raises his hands
to the skies looking at God and calling his name
My God why have you abandoned me?
there is only the usual silence and the soul is restless
anticipating to get out from the body that is killing and wasting itself
and the time has come
for the soul to be liberated
to be alone
in itself moving towards the light, dancing in the dark, and singing out aloud
My God here i am back to you
It is only in You that i find back peace and happiness & bliss.
Let that soul be me My Lord.
