Before She Dies...
even if she does not ask for it
before she dies
i hold her hand and gently press
it against mine
and i whisper to the silence of
my own pond
go, for i have since then
forgiven you
do not say any word
you are too tired to ask for
what had long been
hidden

Gently
(words & music by wizell - lisbona)
Gently your eyes met mine
Tender, trusting, true
Gently your hand took mine
Thrilled me through and through
Gently, oh so gently
Gentle as the dawn
Gently, oh so gently
Our true love was born
Gently your lips kissed mine
As we strolled along
Gently your heart touched mine
Young and warm and strong
Gently the hour is near
When true loves have to part
Gently well meet again
One more kiss, sweetheart

Whisper In The Night
Whisper in the night
Over silent evening air
Angels gown shines white
All at once youre glad shes there
Daughter of your dream shine a guiding light for me
For Ill be here till light
Whisper in the night
Till she has forgiven me
Night turns into gold
So the tide may turn today
Though God gave the world
Its not mine to throw away
Daughter of your dream shine a guiding light for me
For Ill be here till light
Whisper in the night
Till she has forgiven me
La da da -- da
Whisper in the night
Till she has forgiven me
Help to face what the day may bring
Angels sing
You were sent to make the night be kind
What will I find
Snowflake bird she came
Taking grey clouds from your door
Face the midnight sun
You have something to live for
Daughter of your dream shine a guiding light for me
For Ill be here till light
Whisper in the night
Till she has forgiven me
La da da -- da
Whisper in the night
Till she has forgiven me

The Only Hand You'll Need To Hold
When you need to be love, let me love you
When you need a friend, reach out to me
When you need reassuring that it's alright
Anything you need, that what I'll be
For I want to be the one you always come to
When you find you need a place to go
Let mine be the hand you always cling to
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold
I can be the one that makes you happy
I'll be your umbrella when it rains
I will be someone that you can count on
In other words, I'll be your everything
For I want to be the one you always come to
When you find you need a place to go
Let mine be the hand you always cling to
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold
I want to be the one you always come to
When you find you need a place to go
Let mine be the hand you always cling to
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold
Mine will be the only hand you ever need to hold

Dropping A Hello
i will dropp my hello
like a feather
gently to a little space
where you
are thinking like a
very clear pond
such a hello looks
like a geese
floating on water
and then
it leaves
but i hope that its departure
be like
a word that leaves your lips
like a whisper
life should be like that
nothing shattering like a broken
wine glass dropped
by a drunkard at the bar
everyone is looking.
who cares?

Terre Promise
Even now the fragrant darkness of her hair
Had brushed my cheek; and once, in passing by,
Her hand upon my hand lay tranquilly:
What things unspoken trembled in the air!
Always I know, how little severs me
From mine heart's country, that is yet so far;
And must I lean and long across a bar,
That half a word would shatter utterly?
Ah might it be, that just by touch of hand,
Or speaking silence, shall the barrier fall;
And she shall pass, with no vain words at all,
But droop into mine arms, and understand!

Play Me A Whisper
play me a whisper in my ear
where i
whimper
and tremble
in desire
(that is your
word not mine)
play me softly a whisper of love
in my hair
i let you
and tell you how it means to me
play it on
turn me on, i let you know how much it means
to me
my hair thinking my skin whimpering
let me have your whisper
now not in my ear
let it be in my mouth
let it stay
let it stray inside my tongue
play me a little soft whisper
not in my mouth now
but in my heart
let it stay there for a while
and then play me another whisper
not in my heart now
let it be inside my guts
down in my belly
let it go deeper
let it escape in the toes of my feet and let this whisper
dissolve in a distance in the infinite silence of the space
between us

I’m a Blinky Bill
An awestruck daydreamer
I cut words into lights
Beep warned still blind
Silence spelled and bound
Freedom sought redeemer
Reaching peaceful heights
Where words in mills I grind
Language prone
Euthanasia patches
To let them rise to the throne
Of a silent word that matches
The silence which outstretches
A hand in a hidden sign
The word beautiful and most benign
The word that hurts no one’s soul
The word which echoes the highest pole

Wisper Your Secrets
Whisper your secrets into my skin,
Come out clean, I'll hold your sin.
Whisper your secrets to my lone heart,
Before our sin's poison gets a head start.
Whisper your secrets into my hair,
And each strand will hold a care.
Whisper your anger into my pale hands,
Hate in my fists only you you understand.
Whisper your anger in my fragile mind,
Let anger simmer over time.
Whisper your anger into my head,
And I'll repeat every word you said.
Whisper your love into my palms,
And you will feel my calm.
Whisper your love into my lips,
And we'll lose ourselves in ignorance bliss.
Whisper your love into my soul,
And I'll show you something beautiful.
Whisper your secrets into my ear,
And know not a soul will hear.
Hold my Hand
Hold my hand, I won't mind
Little effort you have to make
Pull me out of the timid bubble
Little risk I shall then take
Look out at the sky, don't let this season pass
Bare foot I want to walk with you on this wet and green grass
Long and sweet future we need to plan out
While sitting on the rock that is set just near the lake
We would sip our favorite coffee in the same old open shop
You again pull out your hanky to clean the spilled drop
You're asking me the reason, out of apprehension when I shake
One more time to hide my coyness, it's too cold I would fake
Lets tell each other the things we hid, Lets form a silver line
Whisper in my ears all your deepest secrets and I shall tell you mine
I threw a clue in the Air, grab and let the silence break
My patience is eager to hear from you, hold my hand it says

The Hidden Pond
There's a little ribbon snake,
Swimming in the hidden pond.
To him it's one of the Great Lakes,
Of his watery home he is so fond.
He's swimming towards a lilly pad,
Where sits a sleeping leopard frog.
Dozing on her spongy bed,
In the early morning fog.
Dragonflys buzz all around,
In the early morning light.
They never get close to the ground,
Once their gossamer wings take flight.
Crickets chirp, and minnows swim,
The hidden pond is full of life.
Long legged spiders skip and skim,
Perch cut the water like a knife.
Another day on hidden pond,
Grasshoppers leaping to and fro.
Clinging to the cattails and the fronds,
As the perch keep hoping, down below.

Tenderly you come
tenderly you come
to touch the locks of hair
that rest there on the pillow
feathered in a dream
i sleep my silence long
two words for its spell
and no silence for a word
you touch my face and line it
up in warmth through glass
that stands there instead of window
sundialed roomed so spacious
i sleep my silence long
two words for its spell
and no silence for a word
you open eyes of a closure
'neath unfaithful sky
to write me there word cloudward
wipe me away or melt
in my sleep silence long
two words for its spell
and no silence for a word

Sweet Love
Baby I want your body close, you on top of me, can you feel it
Im gonna make your body drip all over me,baby me inside of you
So take off all your clothes and throw them on the floor
You wont need them
Cuz I wanna give you every little thing you need and more
Let me tell you what you wanna do
I wanna make love , sweet love , all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right , dont let go of me
I wanna make love , sweet love, all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right dont let go of me
Baby I can give to you any way you like it
You just let me know
Im giving you the key so you can ride me fast or slow
Cuz on this ride of love , were gonna go
To places you and I aint never been before
Baby imagine me kissing all over you
Your bodys trembling, I know youre feeling me
Ooh I know its getting serious
And Im tired of being curious
Cuz my body is filled with lust
Cant take it no more bet you whisper ooooh
I wanna make love , sweet love , all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right , dont let go of me
I wanna make love , sweet love, all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right dont let go of me
I wanna make love , sweet love , all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right , dont let go of me
I wanna make love , sweet love, all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right dont let go of me
Girl the chemistry between us, I cant explain
I love to hear call my name
I can see it in your eyes that you want me too
Dont you be afraid of what Im bout to give to you
Girl the tears you cry are out of happiness
Pleasure instead of loneliness
Baby every single part of me inside of you
Pleasing you , pleasing you, make you scream louder
I wanna make love , sweet love , all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right , dont let go of me
I wanna make love , sweet love, all night long to the rising of the sun
Hold your body close to mine it feels so right dont let go of me

Open Speech
Good friend of mine, you feel with me—
Your blood grows hot by sympathy
With something that I say or do;
Then speak—I want a word from you.
Let not the silence wrap you round
While you are living over-ground.
They say that earthly years are few;
Then speak—I want a word from you.
Perhaps I pass you in the street,
And when our eyes a moment meet,
I wonder are you wishing too;
Then speak—I want a word from you.
Are you, too, longing for a sign,
Yet fear to stretch a hand for mine?
What other am I writing to?
Then speak—I want a word from you.
Some way our thoughts together run,
Since both lift brow toward the sun
Beneath the self-same vault of blue;
Then speak—I want a word from you.

The Scenic Garden
As I walk with your hand in mine, I see the most beautiful paradise known to man,
My eyes water at the magnificence of this garden like land,
Everything looks as if it’s a dream beyond the farthest span,
Let’s take a walk through paradise as I hold your hand,
I can see that majestic fountain that sits in the center of the garden of glee,
I observe in awe as I see the water flow gently down the steeps,
And it seems as if this is all made up in a dream,
But the reality is that in this garden of glee is where the angels sleep,
I’ve never seen something so beautiful in my life,
It looks as if the heavens came down to enhance my dream like sight,
The flowers are so scenic of pink, yellow, red and white,
This wonderland is so beautiful the plants blossom in the night,
As I walk with your hand in mine the rain drizzles gently to the ground,
I listen closely and I hear the birds chirping in the most beautiful of sounds,
I’m surrounded by magic in this beautiful garden all around,
Then I turn to you and lay my lips on yours,
I close my eyes in the process and realize it’s even more beautiful than before,
What I’ve realized is that, this magic garden isn’t the most that I adore,
It’s your hand in mine that I’ll hold forever more.

Speak Gently
Speak gently! -- It is better far
To rule by love, than fear --
Speak gently -- let not harsh words mar
The good we might do here!
Speak gently! -- Love doth whisper low
The vows that true hearts bind;
And gently Friendship's accents flow;
Affection's voice is kind.
Speak gently to the little child!
Its love be sure to gain;
Teach it in accents soft and mild: --
It may not long remain.
Speak gently to the young, for they
Will have enough to bear --
Pass through this life as best they may,
'T is full of anxious care!
Speak gently to the aged one,
Grieve not the care-worn heart;
The sands of life are nearly run,
Let such in peace depart!
Speak gently, kindly, to the poor;
Let no harsh tone be heard;
They have enough they must endure,
Without an unkind word!
Speak gently to the erring -- know,
They may have toiled in vain;
Perchance unkindness made them so;
Oh, win them back again!
Speak gently! -- He who gave his life
To bend man's stubborn will,
When elements were in fierce strife,
Said to them, 'Peace, be still.'
Speak gently! -- 't is a little thing
Dropped in the heart's deep well;
The good, the joy, which it may bring,
Eternity shall tell.

The Forgiven Ones
the forgiven ones
share their plates & their fires
wear hand-me-down clothes
& old worn out shoes...
the forgiven ones
plant their seeds in the earth
plow thru the darkness
waiting for the sun & the rain
the forgiven ones
stand by the woman giving birth
take the orphans to their breasts
& call now home
the forgiven ones
share the same language
let go of their anger
& carry each other's loads
the forgiven ones
pray with their hands
sing with their tears
& fight with their hearts...
the forgiven ones...

I Am Tired Of The Word 'Poem
I AM TIRED OF THE WORD ‘POEM’
I am tired of the word ‘poem’
‘Poem’ ‘poem’ ‘poem’ ‘poem and ‘poem’ again
Weren’t there stars before there were poems?
And won’t there be light somewhere else
when no one has words to say?
And in all the great Silence before and ever after
won’t there be the being of something real however unsaid and unknown?
And won’t ‘Poem’ and ‘poems’ too like all of us
Cease one day to be and never again know that they are?
All the immortals are mortal and their poems too
Silence before and Silence after
And no words forevermore.

What Was Once
She would often stare at you
sitting by the pond
the summer sunlight
playing there
on the waters' skin
the holidays
having just begun
and she'd say
you do love me don't you?
and you'd look away
from the sunlight's dance
and reply
of course I do
and you'd see that look
in her eyes
like worlds
being born
and she'd say
Mother wouldn't want
me here alone with you
and you looking back
at the pond's water
would say
why is that?
what have I done
to cause her alarm?
Birds flew across
the pond
their cries breaking
the silence of the summer day
she moved her hand
and touched your hand
resting on the dry earth
because she's jealous of me
being loved I suppose
or maybe she thinks
we do things while alone
you look back at her
the way she sat
the skirt lifted
along her thigh
her hand squeezing yours
that summer
that love
the fresh life
of loving
the being
out of doors.

Best Time
Here I go again
Lying on bed, drifting away
Thinking if I could have a better sleep.
Raindrops pouring heavily on roof deck
Reminds me of your sweet caress.
“This is the best time…”
Still I can hear your whisper
Side by side, the warmth can be felt.
Bedtime isn’t always for sleep
We had our moments to speak
To resolve some problems and query
Cuddling up as we weave our reverie.
But that was long time ago
When we’re still young and on the go.
So much responsibilities keep us apart
Though, I always keep you in my mind
Your image drawn on my shut-eye
The sheet acts to warm my cold arms.
I have only one wish if we could reach
The retirement period, the peak of our age.
Could we still sleep together at night?
Hold my hand, squeeze me tight
‘Til your bony hand and mine get tired.
Patiently I can ignore your snore that’s too loud
Just to be with you ‘til the last breath of my life.

There Is No Such Thing As A Meaningless Poem
there is no such thing
as a word without meaning
each word has a shadow
it has its own moon
and marsh
each sigh calls for a word
to give it a sound that you can hear
inside your heart
each moan has a memory beside it
warm and
so gentle
each touch is a syllable that you
keep in silence
as a treasure inside your skin
hence there is no such thing
as a poem without meaning at all
there is always a body
a hand
at night there is always a whisper
a love call
