Attuned....
everything slips away
ah, that usual feeling of sands thru your fingers
water from a cup of hands
air inside your nostrils reaching your lungs
giving it back
in a single sigh
one becomes an expert at expulsion somehow
yes wasted but not consumed
feeling the loss but not fearing anything anymore
that way of embracing rejection
like what happens to everyone else
we're all in these
suffering yes, but not that long enough
one masters the pain
and does not talk about the details
under the moon
darkness turns out to be a home
silence a favorite

The Time That Slips On My Hands
the time that slips on my hands
splits through my fingers
so fast like a dream that cuts
itself before dawn
when i wake up sweating
and feel the need of a
glass of cold water
slowly the sands of time fall
on my feet
the winds of change blow it
and then
i feel the emptiness of its
departure
the heart is left wondering
what is it that is left undone
the mind has answers but as usual
it fails to consider the
reasoning ability of feelings
you look at fate in the eye
feeling so guilty and wasted

It's All About The Feeling Giving
Go get that hot coco cup,
And fill it up to sit and sip...
Since,
It's all about the feeling giving.
As the seasons seem to slip,
To come and go quickly to dip.
It's all about the feeling giving.
To give a 'thanks' is an investment,
To receive and benefit.
'Cause...
It's all about the feeling giving.
Getting gifts to reminisce,
Is only part of it that fits...
'Cause,
It's all about the feeling giving.
Come what may,
Everyday that's over-rated...
It's,
All about the feeling giving.
Those holidays we love to celebrate,
Don't come to stay...
'Cause...
It's all about the feeling giving.
We hope with a faith and pray,
Dedicated...
To give a feeling someone's getting,
Come what may...
It's all about the feeling giving.
Come what may,
It's all about the feeling giving.
Go get that hot coco cup,
And fill it up to sit and sip...
Since,
It's all about the feeling giving.
Sit and sip to reminisce,
Since...
It's all about the feeling giving.
Everyday,
It's all about the feeling giving.
Come what may,
It's all about the feeling giving.
Come what may,
It's all about the feeling giving.

All White, No Rock
it is the want that is giving me this
prison and so
to free myself i must not want this anymore
i wasted all my precious time to wanting this and that
which i never really got anyway
it is a sour grape
now i am sure about it
so i junked it and look at me i am now free at last
my chest is spacious
my hands are waving like leaves to the wind
feeling cool
relieved at last from all those unnecessary worries
the storms are gone
the sands are too peaceful like my mind
all white
no rock.

Broken Silence
I've always tried to please everyone but me,
But now I've had enough
I'm done just let me be
I've know for a long time that the only way you'll love me
Is if I be who you want me to be
But not anymore I'm sorry,
Maybe the person you want me to be just isn't me
I'm done pretending I'm happy all the time
I'm done feeling so miserable to the point of crying
You've never been shy about telling me that if I didn't conform
You'd get rid of me like all the rest
Well I'm sorry but I'm done
Guess I failed the test
I've tried my best to deal with the pressure
And my best to stay sane,
But its useless because things around here
Are NEVER going to change
I've always suffered in silence up until now
And at times I look back and ask myself how?
How did I sit there in all my misery and pain and stay silent?
All I know is they're over
All my days of being quite
I guess you could say suffering in silence was my token,
But not anymore
Because my silence has forever been broken

Stuck On The Lyrics Like I'm Stuck On You
You kill me...
You know you do
You kill me well
You rip my heart
Through depths of hell
I see the journals,
The logs,
And she misses you.
But not missing you all the same
She misses the feeling you give me
And I hate this feeling I get
Feeling like ever-prying,
Thought I let go the notions of potential failure
But I still think when you don't pick up
I still cry at night when you're all I think about
And nothing I forget
And the pain that rips through my bones like concrete through water
Is nothing compared to the pain of loss
Or the fear of the pain of loss
Or the pain of the fear of the pain of loss
And you won't get to see the tears I cry
So swallow me and spit me out
For hating you I blame myself
Then and there
I confess
I'll blame all this on my selfishness
Yet you love me
And that consumes me
And I will cut again
And do so willingly
Relationships that work are things that I can't comprehend

Something That Slips Away
...because i allow it,
because of the way i keep my hands,
my fingers are falling apart,
and to keep my hands
intact, as i try too,
as i compose myself
as i reinvent my face through your
eyes,
and then, something slips away,
it hurts,
but i know it will not last long,
otherwise,
i will not be true to myself, i will be dead.
and i can't allow it,
so here i am, as usual, too normal
like the sun that shines
every morning
because everyone expects it to happen.
don't know if i feel my own
heat. don't care really. it is not about myself.
anymore. it is about the sun
and the day that it is duty bound to give
to the grasses
and to the rooftops.

Throughout The Pain
Drowning in these tears I've cried
Hoping that it would drown out the pain
But instead I crawled through the pain
Ran through the storms
Hid all the pain inside of myself
Cause I knew no one else would ever understand
I was right they didn't understand
Not the pain I was feeling
Worse than a deep cut
Broken into and ripped apart
No one knew how torn up I was
How shattered I was inside
No one even knew it at all
Can't even describe the pain I was feeling
But here I am still
Still alive after I've tried to die
I can't say I'm pain free cause I'm not
I can say that most of the pain is gone
And that all in all I'm doing okay
I'm doing alright all things considering
This road I've traveled on was long and rough
These storms I've faced along the way
The scars upon me I made
It was all well worth it cause I learned a lot throughout the pain
Throughout the pain I made it
Still shattered I don't think I will ever find all the pieces
But I'm still here through the long suffering of pain
I made it throughout the pain and made it through the storms

Flush
Im feeling rot
Im feeling rotten today
I ________ guess
I forgot I am shot
Im not o.k.
So long to pain,
So long to games
So long say good-bye
Someone tell me why,
Im feeling cold inside
Do I wanna, do I wanna die
Someone tell me why,
Its building up inside
Do I wanna die and
Kiss it all goodby
_______ Im a sinking ship
On a sea of bliss, Im not o.k.
I _________ Im blind to this
Is this just a test
To help me see
So long to you, so long to me
So long say good-bye
Someone tell me why,
Im feeling broke inside
Do I wanna, do I wanna die
Can you tell my why
Its building up inside
Do I wanna die and
Kiss it all goodbye?
Youre the reason
I would live......i hope that
You can give me this...
Youre the reason
So long to pain, so long to games
So long say good-bye
Can you tell me why
Im feeling dead
Do I wanna, do I wanna die
Someone tell why
Its building up inside
Do I wanna
Kiss it all good-bye

Ive Lost You
(words & music by howard - blaikly)
Lying by your side I watch you sleeping
And in your face the sweetness of a child
Murmuring the dreams you wont recapture
Though it will haunt the corners of you mind
Ive lost though youre near me
And your bodys still this kind
Ive lost you on a journey,
But I cant remember where or when
Who can tell when summer turns to autumn
And who can point the moment love grows cold
Softly without pain the joy is over
Though why its gone will neither of us know
Oh, Ive lost you yes, Ive lost you
I cant reach you anymore
We ought to talk it over now
But reason cant stand in for feeling, oh
Six oclock the baby will be crying
And you will stumble, sleeping to the door
In the chill and solemn gray of morning
We play the parts that we have learned to well
Oh Ive lost you, oh, Ive lost you
Oh, you wont admit it so
Ive lost you on a journey,
But I cant remember where or when no more
Oh, Ive lost you yes, Ive lost you
I cant reach you anymore
We ought to talk it over now
But reason cant stand in for feeling, oh
Oh, Ive lost you yes, Ive lost you
I cant reach you anymore
We ought to talk it over now
But reason cant stand in for feeling, oh

Run, Run, Run
I was sitting in the field, feeling the grass.
Counting the stars as they come out.
Feeling (feeling) the breeze, (feeling the breeze)
Feeling (feeling) the spring. (feeling the spring)
Suddenly I noticed there wasnt light anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run to the light,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
I tumbled on roots, stumbled on stones.
Lost my marbles, stepped on my glasses.
Feeling (feeling) the air, (feeling the air)
Feeling (feeling) the wind. (feeling the wind)
Suddenly I noticed it wasnt fun anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run towards the light,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
I came out of the darkness into the house,
The lights were left on but nobody around.
Feeling (feeling) the room, (feeling the room)
Feeling (feeling) the space. (feeling the space)
Suddenly I noticed it wasnt spring anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run through your life,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
(run, run, run, run, run through your life)
(run, run, run, run, run for your life)
Run, run, run, run, run through your life,

The Silence of that feeling
The silence of that feeling
The silence of that feeling
rustling past the moon
into the stars
that pour their glory
at the earth
The silence of that feeling
dreaming of climbing
the abyss
I dived into
The silence of that feeling
venturing into my night -
an area as yet unexplored
whispers a kiss
that whispers a Welcome
as yet untold.
But there comes the time when
that feeling speaks.

Leaping Salmon
I will not dream another's sweet musings
when the truth is only partly known
the fruit is so sweet but of another knowledge
but face my own full on
naked in the darkness
and recognise that which has never been shown before
and dream it as my own
I will not share you with another
I cannot
for their knowledge would lack the spice of experience
I am the silver salmon driving out of the peat black water into the
daylight
Rising rising
timeless and heavy
Falling backwards into the darkness
I am inside you rising up through the water feeling the water rush past
my
flanks
light flickers above
Searching for the head waters
They are there. I smell them
Peatiness all round
I hold your flanks
Pass my hands to your front, beneath your gills
fingers just apart
sensing your power running past my fingers
Silver water running through my fingers
Pass my hands down your sides
Sense the water passing over my skin
Surges rising up
geysers of water silver spume
The salmon rises
My beautiful salmon, you rise and explode gasping in the electric air
showers of jewels tremble in the sunlight
the sound of a thousand water falls
The pinky darkness of your open mouth
catching the irresdecent droplets
Your flanks tremble in the sun
and fall
back into the enveloping water
bubbles rise
Dark fish sinks into the velvet darkness
Still Still Swish Still
Held like a chalice

The Fierce Words Of Feeling- The Anger
The fierce words of feeling- the anger
They are the poem-
The hurt which cries and screams and demands
Its own expression-
The fierce words of feeling
Which rage on against the night and the darkness and the beauty and the pain and all the loss and all the love
And demand some other kind of freedom beyond what any human being has ever known
Beyond and yet more beyond -
The fierce words of feeling
That come out of the deepest darkest most primitive part of ourselves
But connect with what we most really are
In saying,
‘No no no not again' to all this pain and dying and sadness
The fierce words of feeling- No.

A Breathe of Fresh Air
I'm a deep thinker
And I'm just trying to live my life
Who am I?
The answer is, I'm not quite sure
I have that feeling
The feeling in your stomache
The feeling behind your ribs
That feeling that just can't let you be
The pain
Well can I even call it that
It's not quite pain
It's absence of pain
It's just the feeling
The feeling that's always present
I just want it to go away
Please just go away
I want to breathe freely
I want a breath of fresh air that isn't soiled
Soiled by the feeling
The feeling of pain
Or is it the absence of pain

Something Visual
Something visual and so vivid
Are still hard to write
One shot in film
Would have been easy
To picture curves
And tangential lines
That even criss-cross
Using words
Is a big challenge,
Like
Capturing a crocodile
On a fish net, it would even
Be harder using words
To capture illusive motions
Of white milk spilt on
Monochromatic tiles,
Or
The leaping of a fish
On the pond trying to
Eat a moth or a dragonfly
Hovering on a blade of
Grass and what about
Air,
Invisible getting
Inside my lungs, that
Feeling of life moving
Inside me,
And
What about
Blood running in the veins
To remove numbness of
My fingers,
All
These
Are challenges in words
In what to write,
To a jumping fish
Capturing, swallowing
A blue dragonfly,
Or
The air rushing
To my lungs,
Or
To the
Blood rushing to my numb
Fingers,
All these give a feeling
Of relief,
All
These somehow
Return life, and it makes
Us all feel good…
Something visual in words
Motions captured and colors
Brushed in word, in words
Something visual
And life-giving
To be caged in words,
Such will be your big challenge.

Unexplainable Change
If this world is dead, if the end is near, I have many regrets, but I have no fear.
The once loving me, is full of hate, with so much pain, It must be fate.
The people who cared, those who were true, to be ensnared, by such a pitiful rule.
Love those few, who were just like you, don't give in, to such a wretched sin.
I have always said, I would never change, I am strong now, No cage can contain.
The love I have, is stronger then hate, I will not be consumed, by the sin of hells gate.
Yet as it seems, that my will is strong, I come to see, that I do not belong.
None can compare, to this pain I've endured, for true peace in this world, can never be heard.
The mourning grief, inside my chest, the pain and suffering, is all I have left.
I feel so alone, to live like this, enveloped by darkness, unable to fix.
The pain I've dealt, to others reaching me, I held no desire, to let them see.
The side of me, always in pain, always suffering, endless on days.
No matter the cost, no matter the price, they continued reaching out, rolling the dice.
I continue descending, as I hurt them still, I have no intention, of signing the bill.
I await the day, with my double edged sword, to see my destiny, "Vengeance is mine, I will Repay it, saith the lord."

Low Existence
measuring
your kind of life with
the digits of your
bank account
you do not want to
spend
life anymore
you just keep it
like the money
inside your
pocket
time is cruel for you
comes the day
and you do not notice it
everything
shall be taken
in one blink of an eye
your favorite dog
will not even remember to wag its tail
when you signify
that you want to be back
everything can never be ours
our hands give way
and there are slips always
holes

It Is Strange
i find the coming days strange
filled with your silence and i am here feeling so abandoned
pampered once by your words of concern
like i am always showered by your rain
when i was once a vast dryland
with grasses all wilting and animals moving away
searching for water,
it is indeed strange when a day goes away without any word from you
when the night comes as black as tar
and as lonely as a house without its children
moving out to another place carrying with them their
conversations and laughter
and oh even the usual noise
those senseless ones that i begin to miss
because of their absence
i miss you and i will be missing you more for the coming empty days
of my life
i am like a window now always open as
the strong winds come and scatter everything that i have written
the night comes like an empty space of darkness where i surrender
without any word
i sleep and then wake up for another day
when the light stabs my face
piercing my heart
this time every change that comes
is pain
because you are not here anymore and without you
i will be always alone
feeling so abandoned like the shell without its flesh
like the skull without a face

Zen
i take to call him zen
i talk talk to zen like
to all the nature around me
zen can you talk back to me
there is a pause and i say
zen can you talk back to me
silence like the silence of nature
are you dead or alive?
i am such a bewildered dweller
i talk to zen like i do to
all the nature around me
nature do you have a mouth
talk back to me
silence
then this tranquil feel
this feel of zen reacting to all nature, to me
but no talk, just silence
then i say zen
well if you let me do all the talking?
zen zen zen i know you will one day
be more cruel, do the leaving,
not a sigh, not a word
so why dont you talk to me now?
i talk to nature hoping it will talk back to me
but like zen, it is all quiet, silence
i even pull his leg, i say zen you have
sprouted a mole, a wrinkle, a line here and there
and i say you are smart and i suddenly
feel a contentment manoevres him a little
but then i ask again, and again
zen is it my own ego boiling over?
zen, zen please tell me
till then you may stay the way you are
