Attentat
i see in your
words an attempt to make
poetry as a form
of story telling
a diary, a journal for the day,
a note,
a reminder like a dog mark
or a magnetic post
on the refrigerator
sometimes i go beyond
all these things
seeing scars
poke marks, acne,
a mote,
a blister, oh yes,
what about that burn?
an injury being healed
by the caresses of
words without
the capacity for rhythm
i see in you what others
have not seen,
a silence that curls like
a snake,
that in extreme hit
gives a rattle,
a warning for those who
come and mess
with you,
you know when
to bite
and it is only
when necessary
when your
castle of privacy
is invaded
with nothing but the
obvious
degraded into
nothing.

What is poetry?
What is poetry?
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When words play and tend to run
It is mega-magnetic fun
Yes mega-magnetic fun
When readers show they are appreciative
Of playful words which are narrative
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When readers have come & gone
And all the votes have been cast and drawn
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
When writers become inventive
With or without any material incentive
I say it is mega-magnetic fun
That is what poetry is about
It is mega-magnetic fun

The Poems As Diary
to know me
there is no other but this poetry
to know poetry however
please do not read
my diary
for this diary may fail the standards
of your poetry
but at any rate everyday poetry is a diary
what makes us fume like a mad cow
what makes us whistle like a satisfied lover
what makes us surrender in defeat and shout victory in triumphs
little things and big things
all summed up
in this new thing: diary as poetry
and poetry as diary.
we do not even have to rhyme
does life rhyme at all my friend?

Words between words
Words between words
~
I try and say most things subtle
To slip words between words
In the hope you will read and hear
Sometimes I speak with blunt honesty
Sometimes wish I just didn’t speak
Sketching in secret characters
Telling stories built on fantasy
When a subtle look reveals
The obvious biography
Those words between words
What I write, what I speak
I understand words more than people
Words always seem easy
We all have things we wish to say
Some are said, others kept
All that is written then spoken
Are words between words

2008: I've Got News For You
Words describing the
Sharp silents sounds
Of a single edged razor blade
Slicing through wrist and vein - -
Blank verse summoning sights
Of dark red blood pumping
Into a clutterd sink - -
Is not poetry.
Expaining the blood stains
While cleaning up the mess
With bandaged wrists the next day - -
Is not poetry.
It may be cofessional.
It may diffuse a fire
That was buring out of control.
If anywhere it goes in your diary.
Don't fling your bloody wrists at me
By making up a metaphor.
Until I see the scars,
It is not poetry.

A Big Or Brief Poetry......!
Big or brief, what is poetry?
Poetry is......
Creating beauty out of blemish,
Making order out of disorder,
Producing meaning out of musical words,
Creating Universal truth out of trivialities,
Arranging points out of less known facts!
Is poetry just making rhythm and rhyme
Without meaning, life, force and taste,
Without free flowing musical words,
Without words of music, beauty, fun?
Poetry is free flowing river of words
With full of images, lively and lovely,
Transporting from this world to that world
Forgetting himself and readers here!
Just end rhyme is not enough to make it so;
Internal rhymes make music in rhythm
Making all enjoy music, meaning and ideas!
Poetry is the medium to say complex things
Not possible to say in other forms of language,
Saying unknown things using known things;
It is sound, substance, message and meaning!
And many more matters to many men in the world!

My poems is not Poetry
My Poems are not Poetry
Poetry rhythm is essential part
Communicative act of rhythms
Where words created music
An effect on the reader’s and listener
Words beginning with the same letter
And achieve a poetically effect.
My Poems has no rhythms
For the first time I don’t know
What to say and how to show.
Many words is not my style
Let me say, I like your smile
I don’t think I should like you,
Unfortunately I do.
I'm not sure now how to write
I lost my idea how, where words
Are used in away similar
Creating Music, where you find
Languages of rhymes
I write Prose but not Poetry
Using a regular rhythm
Where vast majority
Of languages spoken and written.
I try to be a barn, the muses were believed and inspire
I try to hard without success,
you already know, I guess.
Anyhow, it doesn’t matter
Usually I do not write
Things like this, I never tried,
for the first time I don’t know
what these lines should say or show.
Allegory, metaphor equated
Meaning lie outside the narrative
Acrostic phase when read together
Alliteration words same letter for poetical effect
Satire is a form of humour
Limerick is a short humorous poem.
And Honestly, I don’t regret
Things I did and words I said.

No ideas but in things
the snake is always a snake
and the scorpion cannot promise the frog
that in the middle of the storm
at its back, it will not bite
they will die together, but that is not enough
fear for being what they
to each they are,
the weeds are weeds and writing
is writing as always,
words that are words, come and speak, and mouths
will always be mouths,
sleepless are we at times on this
endeavor to understand
what lies beyond this
crap, metaphors of stones not reconciling
with roses
tattoos of the arms of a jilted lover
i am composed.
i compose to thing to things
not words, not to think to think
but things
as they are
as they were
forever.
still trying
what this saxifrage is all about
it splits.

Poetry is the Divine Part of Man
Poetry haters love to make fun of the touchy-feely stuff
as though that defined who or what poetry is.
Poetry is the last time the sun gets reflected
in somebody's eyes, when they're saying goodbye-
maybe for forever.
And it's that first dropp of rain, touches the new brides veil,
blesses her; as she's lifting it off her face
for the first time, after being kissed in the marriage ceremony.
And poetry might be that bubble,
over the sink.. keeps floating away, fully intact;
even though all the laws of physics and gravity may be saying
it ought not be able to go on existing;
And poetry in motion
is a baby, trying to walk and falling down
again and again;
refusing to give up, surrender
less painful though that might be.
And poetry could even be your hand over my mouth,
because you know that I can never really say
what I am trying so hard to say;
as there's another form of secret communication
connects soul directly to soul,
without confusing or complicated words.
And that is some of the invisible poetry,
lives in the eyes, the hands; the heart of the mind;
and all the hidden, inner recesses of a human being; and even though
something may be a form of poetry for one; it may not be for another.
Finally, if you balled up the emotions together, and then just threw them up
into the open air, not knowing where they might come down, or even if;
this too, could be one of the purest forms of poetry.
My words could go on flowing forever, like a stream, and that could be poetry;
or they might stop without warning and

The Weight of Poetry
Poetry is core of arts
It’s not strange!
Not knowing that poetry is core of all arts
It’s not strange as well!
The many who don’t know that poetry is core of all arts
It’s not a strange at all!
Although the poets usually make foes against vulgarity
A city makes the poets wandering on the streets
Should utterly lack of the manner and style
A society brings the resentment to the poets
Should fully lack of consciousness
Solitude is the major topic in life
Solitude is poetry
Lack of poetry, art is a form of imitation
Lack of poetry, power is a presumptuous mediocrity
Lack of poetry, fortune is a wealthy poverty
Lack of poetry, love is a superficial organ
The extreme of love- solitude
The extreme of wealth- solitude
The extreme of power – solitude
The extreme of art- solitude
The extreme of climax - solitude
The extreme of world - solitude
The extreme of planets- solitude
Those who have never explored loneliness
Can write down the weight of poetry?

A Revolution Poetry Is....!
Are you writing words of rhythm according to thoughts?
Or are you coining words of thoughts according to rhythm?
Or are you writing poetry both working at the same time?
Asking so, if they ask me how to write poetry, what shall I say?
Poetry writing is natural, spontaneous expression from heart!
How can this be taught to anyone to write poetry ever at all?
Poetry is a spontaneous flow of words direct from heart ever!
I wonder many a time how am I writing poetry at all ever!
But this is happening to my great surprise since longtime!
Due to engagements ever poetry only I am able to write
Though my aim in the beginning was writing stories.....,
Novels, short stories and nonfiction articles of criticism!
Poetry books too I have completed writing so since long
But what a pity there is no reception for poetry books...!

I guess whatever maturity is there may be there because I've been keeping a journal forever. In high school my friends would make fun of me - you're doing your man diary again. So I was always trying to translate experience into words.

I Wait To Hear Within The Words Which Will Mean 'Poetry
I WAIT TO HEAR FROM WITHIN THE WORDS WHICH WILL MEAN ‘POETRY’
I wait to hear from within the words which will mean ‘poetry’
I listen to myself
Only these lines come-
Silence is greater than I am
But I must be, mustn’t I?
The world does not know or care-
Universes in the distance burn bright and then die-
The world does not care
It need not care
Who am I?
What is my poetry?
Billions and trillions and zillions of each and everything
Come into being
And then are not-
Like one of them
The silence will too embrace me
And the vast worlds elsewhere go on
In their indifference
Even to themselves.

Silence Speaks
Verse 1:
When i asked you
You said nothing was wrong
But i listened to your magical song
All its notes were gone
You sang it, i heard
Silence speaks a thousand words
Verse 2:
You keep telling me
I'll pay the price
For asking you once
And telling you twice
But i paid the day your emotions turned cold
Silence speaks a thousand words
Chorus:
Where do i turn when you turn away
It's never just the things you say
You never ever put me down
But when i speak you turn around
And saying not much is saying a lot
Verse 3:
If you spoke truth
There would be no doubt
But the only words are
"we'll work it out"
Well that's not saying much
You just don't take the time
And that is where i draw the line
Chorus
Bridge:
You're sending signals
First of hope then insecurity
Signals of doubt are everywhere
And subconsciously
You know you wanna break the ties
But you use silence
You use lies
Don't worry
I'll return your song of silence
Silence speaks a thousand words
Silence speaks a thousand words

Poetry Has A Rhythm Of Its Own
POETRY HAS A RHYTHM OF ITS OWN
Poetry has a rhythm of its own
I have lost it
I have words
I have sentences
But I have no rhythm-
I have flat lines
One after the blank other
A mind without depth
A sense of lack
But no real way
Of making a music of poetry
All my efforts now
Are like these lines
Without resonance
Simple and single in meaning
Not what a poem at its best
Should be.

Burn In Hell
Speak to me
Of those days I wont forget
Your worst dreams
Has just returned - to pay you back
Im still laughing
Theres not much else I can do
But ones things certain
Im coming back for you
Have you got a gun
Do you remember well
Who you used it on
Its time to burn in hell
Say my name
I can hear you whisper
Not to blame?
You are going to blister
Scream in the night
Ive been counting the days
Its so amusing
To see you again
Have you got a gun
Do you remember well
Who dya use it on
Youre going to burn in hell
Die
Why?
Time to pay the price
Kill
I will
Have my sacrifice
Plead
With fear
I am getting near
Friend
Liar
Time to eat some fire
Have you got a gun
Do you remember well
Who dya use it on
Youre going to burn in hell
Burn in hell
I can hear you whisper
Burn in hell
You are going to blister
Have you got a gun
Do you remember well
Who dya use it on
Youre going to burn in hell
Burn in hell
I can hear you whisper
Burn in hell
You are going to blister
Snarl like a dog
Youll scream like a banshee
Stuck like a hog
Youre gonna love me
Burn in hell
I can hear you whisper
Burn in hell
You are going to blister
Burn in hell
Screaming like a banshee
Burn in hell
Burn
