I hang my face

Shadows kiss
without kissing,
touch

yearn for love,

in a doorway,
where light falls
from windows,

So dark is the night by choice
Silenced of humorous voice,
So lonely is the night of charms
Devoid of a lover's warm arms.
Dark shadows rising upward bound
