After All There Is No Route To This And That

after all these, you stand alone to be judged, and you think
this has something to do with content, your flesh and bone, your words
and deeds, the meaning of what you want to tell them,

you get it all wrong and the world of magic and imagination laughs
you have not done them wrong
you have not done them right either

you may not believe this and that
but rightly so, the passing wind, the flowing river, the moving sea

the breathing baby, the sleeping meadows,
all these, including the eternal movement of the galaxies,

the unbending light, the constant ebbing and growing of the tides
all these, must have given you the hint of the truth

it is in the flowing of the sound, it is in the journey
of all things and thoughts

these make our world, all these, not the content but the style
the art, not the words but how you sing it.

A Big Or Brief Poetry......!

Big or brief, what is poetry?
Poetry is......
Creating beauty out of blemish,
Making order out of disorder,
Producing meaning out of musical words,
Creating Universal truth out of trivialities,
Arranging points out of less known facts!

Is poetry just making rhythm and rhyme
Without meaning, life, force and taste,
Without free flowing musical words,
Without words of music, beauty, fun?

Poetry is free flowing river of words
With full of images, lively and lovely,
Transporting from this world to that world
Forgetting himself and readers here!

Just end rhyme is not enough to make it so;
Internal rhymes make music in rhythm
Making all enjoy music, meaning and ideas!

Poetry is the medium to say complex things
Not possible to say in other forms of language,
Saying unknown things using known things;
It is sound, substance, message and meaning!
And many more matters to many men in the world!

Ramadan

Adam ate
Only one
And he was
Kicked and thrown
But I ate
Eleven
Still I am here
And entertained
Till the month
Of Ramadan
To be forgiven
Of my words
And deeds
Evil
But I wonder
The river
Full of flowing water
Erosion
At the both end
In full swing
I dropp some boulders
But it keeps
Spreading

Throat and tongue
Full of filthy words
And Sour pickle
I sing
Seek pardon
Pray and praise
All these things
Become nothing
But noise
During months
Eleven
Overweight
With illegal diet
Out of practice
Out of ring
I play
But fouls.

Lust and greed
Eaten away
My flesh
Coveting
Has burnt
The soul
Only skeleton
Left
On the bed
Lying I see
The fan
At the ceiling
With ball bearing
Moving
With high speed
I stand up
And switch off
But it keeps moving.

Flowing Red River

I dive head first into the flowing red river.
It's acrid taste fills my mouth.
I drown in it's putrid depths.
My heart pounds and excitement grips.

As the flowing red river drips.
I cannot contain my growing glee.
I cannot wait to feed on it's bounty.
From down below I stand up straight.
I rise to greet this wonderful fate.

The flowing red river fills me up.
I bend right down from it to suck.
In and out I feel such love.
It cleans my soul flowing red river runs.

I feel it right now it's almost gone.
The pinnacle of joy hits like a bomb.
Yet I'm sad when the flowing red rivers gone.
Fear not though we'll always meet.
When the flowing red river comes to greet.

Streams Of Whiskey

Last night as I slept
I dreamt I met with behan
I shook him by the hand and we passed the time of day
When questioned on his views
On the crux of lifes philosophies
He had but these few clear and simple words to say
I am going, I am going
Any which way the wind may be blowing
I am going, I am going
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
I have cursed, bled and sworn
Jumped bail and landed up in jail
Life has often tried to stretch me
But the rope always was slack
And now that Ive a pile
Ill go down to the chelsea
Ill walk in on my feet
But Ill leave there on my back
Because I am going, I am going
Any which way the wind may be blowing
I am going, I am going
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
Oh the words that he spoke
Seemed the wisest of philosophies
Theres nothing ever gained
By a wet thing called a tear
When the world is too dark
And I need the light inside of me
Ill walk into a bar
And drink fifteen pints of beer
Iam going, I am going
Any which way the wind may be blowing
I am going, I am going
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
I am going, I am going
Any which way the wind may be blowing
I am going, I am going
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
Where streams of whiskey are flowing

Why the World

Why the world - Why are we here -
You may ask how but never why -
The world is always flowing -
Heraclitus said long ago
it's never the same river -
And we are always changing -
Learning and growing - seeing
The world with different eyes
And soon become new people
Creating a world in constant flow -
A restless world with more to learn
Than ever thought was still unknown

Just Follow The Flow

just follow the flow
of words like the water flowing on the river
like the paper boat on the water flowing to the river
like the river flowing through the edges of banks
above the stones and pebbles of
everything swerving from mountain to mountain
of least resistances
the rocks that block your path you
just kiss them and then you go
following the flow again with the wind above you

just folow the flow of your thoughts in your heart
you do not even like to see
everything is smooth, freely flowing, taking shape
and form and having scent and perfume and so exuding

and then
an explosion inside well kept and taken care of

it is great, it is really great that feeling
so short and quick and yet so appealing

no one hears it except you because you
love it and so it has become so real

to your touch

Don't Close Your Heart

I know how it feels to be on your own
In this cruel world where hearts are bound to turn to stone
Where you are alone
And tired of breathing
It's all going wrong
And you just can't stand the pain any more
You're too numb to believe in
In anything
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Darling don't let me down
I know how easy it is to let go
Surrender to despair lurking at your door
To lose your soul and all your feelings
Strength all gone
And so many things left unsaid
And deeds undone
You've stopped caring
'cause it's all in vain
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Darling don't let me down
You're so alone
And tired of breathing
It's all going wrong
And you just can't stand the pain
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Baby just don't close your heart
Darling don't let me down
Don't let me down
Don't let me down
Just don't let me down

Sing a song

Baby! My Baby
Sing with me a song
At the sound of your voice
To mutual words of our choice
I will like a shot rejoice

Baby! My Baby
Sing with me a song
Together we can compose
With a lyrical structure
Watch our song transpose

We can sing a song of hope
Beyound any scope
You can change the tempo
I can go fast or you can go slow

We can sing a song of determination
Inspired by collective imagination
Baby, I am not here to compete
Or this song itself will not complete
Let’s put behind unwanted sorrows
Sing our hearts out until tomorrow

We can sing a song of harmonious hearts
Which no one should set apart!
We can sing of passion and romance
Release our tensions with a dance

Baby! Sing with me a song
I can feel it right inside my skin
For the words are rooted deep within
Lingering for your vocal touch
Yearning for your words so much

We can sing a song of faith
And how it is worth the wait
Together we can consume in delight
In the darkness or in the light
All that is wrong or right

The World Movement

The world is keep moving
It is moving when seen
But the direction is unpredictable
It keep moving though unseen
Flowing its own rhythm
Though already do something
The unseen hand is running different way
Though try to stand still
The walking feet is marching as fast as wind
The world is keep moving
From one place to another
Never tired, never rest
The world is keep moving
Moving unstoppable
Grinding those who can’t swim, stubborn and arrogant one

It's a river

When the time keeps passing and the world goes round
and the sea is crashing at the cliffs and the sounds
erupting as the seabirds cry, you can watch the river
as the time goes by

And it's like it's holy and it can be hell
and you feel so lonely and you fear the smell
of the guns that fire then you see the light
of a rainbow dawning and you realise
that the river's flowing as the time goes by

And you met the people and you knew them well
and you said you loved them and you rang the bell
in the tree of life you watched them grow
and the world is turning as the river flows

The earth smells good and the sky turns gold
when the birds are singing and you bless the old
you can kiss your woman and it feels so right
as you touch the river as the time goes by

As you stand barefoot upon the morning shore
and you feel the centuries of death and war
and the wind is biting and it tears your skin
and the river's flowing where its always been

And the river washes and the river's clean
and the soul remembers where the river's been
as you watch it tumble and you watch it flow
your life's a river now you know, now you know
your life's a river now you know.

Words Sometimes Take On A Own Meaning

Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and sometimes they are sharp and painful
as if there is much more to words

as if a kind of secret knowledge hides in them
that are sometimes something moving.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning

but somehow words can at times miss things
and are sometimes dependent on feelings
as if there is much more to words

when through it all love brings a kind of bonding
and so you and I are attractive to each other.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning

and daily a bond develops between us,
while you become more considerable to me,
as if there is much more to words

you constantly live in my thoughts,
while love becomes real through words.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
as if there is much more to words…

Now I know what is wasting!

Flowing away the water
Clueless was the river
You came as a dyke
And held………
Which gave the meaning of
Flowing ………
Now I flow,
Now I blow
Like a wind
Like a water in the river
Now I know what is wasting ……!

Lots of things polluting the air
Big clueless was the nature
You came as a rain
And washed away…..
Which gave the meaning of
Purity and holiness ……
Now I am holy
Now I am pure …
Like a pain
Like a dew of the morning …..

My tongue was tied
Clueless was I
You came as a twister
Now I can sing the songs delicious
You touched my finger
Now I can make music melodious

I am very thankful to you
As you thankful to nature.

Dreamy River

There's a dreamy river flowing
Down the street from my house
I walk down there after work
But I paddle my way home

There's a dreamy river flowing
On every street corner in the world
And if that young moon is in the sky
She'll wink at you and let you pass by

There's a dreamy river flowing
From my refrigerator into my mouth
It only costs a few dollars
To keep those shelves stocked

There's a dreamy river flowing
From my mouth into my gut
There's a dreamy river flowing
From my wank into the street
There's a dreamy river flowing
In my mind as I lay to sleep

There's a dreamy river flowing
From a town I've never been to
Across this great country
And also from overseas
Sometimes from people's kitchens
Transversing time and space
I float down this river
Every night and day

There's a dreamy river flowing
From the hops and the malts and sugar
I call it my brother, I call it my wife
I call it my true friend

Let me float upon you dreamy river
And drown all these sorrows
That call to me from pasts I've severed

Stop Is Such A Taboo In The World Of Inspiration

in the world of inspiration where
the fireworks come like an everyday feast
in the world of colors like dusk and twilight
and summer nights and auroras of the stars
and the silvery moon sliding on the shiny river,

the word 'stop' is a taboo, for in the world of imagination
where everything comes and goes
like the snap of a finger or the blink of an eye
the world is a long, and wide, and winding river
without banks and ends
with a mouth always opening to the sea beyond this horizon
where everything that floats and swims along with it
is taken and made a part of the beautiful world
of sights and sounds
and space and sense

in my world there is only the ceaseless flow of freedom
of thought, no one stops me
i may rest for a while and take a look at something that catches
my attention like the burst of red oranges in the sky
and too,
like that creature
that person that takes a mutual look
once in a while, a pause,
a comma, a hyphen

but then, i am back to the world of the river
the world of clauses and dashes,
flowing, floating, flowering

forever flowing, unstopping, unceasing, always going and going
and on and on and on, to the flowing waters of the soul.

At The Beginning

We were strangers, starting out on a journey
Never dreaming, what wed have to go through
Now here we are, Im suddenly standing
At the beginning with you
No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart
When I lost hope, you were there to remind me
This is the start
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
We were strangers on a crazy adventure
Never dreaming, how our dreams would come true
Now here we stand, unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
Knew there was somebody, somewhere
A new love in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
Ive been waiting so long
Nothings gonna tear us apart
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
Yeah
Life is a road that I wanna keep going on
Love is a river, I wanna keep going
Starting out on a journey
Life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Emma's Dell

A poet roamed by rushing brook
Early springtime morning. The sound
Seemed softer than it should,
Tempered by, tempering,
Eager buds, new greens all around.
Still bare trees, they tempered too.
Contrast breeds content.

Then round a turn mad rushing brook
Maddened beast and bird.
Sound seemed of the air-
Like air, would never cease.
Green seemed of the rocks.
Content is content.

A cottage overlooked the brook.

'My thoughts at least are mine.

I've told them to the shepherds.
How contrast can contain content.
How content is content.
Pondering perhaps my words
Years after we are spent
They'll call the dell not what I call it,
They'll call it WILL'S DELL EMMA.'

The River of Permanence

It is not possible to step
Into the same river twice,
Said Heraclitus of Ephesus.
Since other and yet other waters
Keep flowing on,
The river is never the same.
And like the river,
Everything in the world
Is in constant change and flux.

Nonsense! Retorted Parmenides
Of Elea. Nothing is in flux.
Things never change, he said,
The world is permanent.
Objects of thought and speech
Must exist all the time.
They cannot change
Because change consists in
Things coming into being,
Or ceasing to exist;
Whereas words have
An immutable meaning.

Of course a table differs from a chair
Parmenides continued,
And so does the nightingale
From the elephant.
Or the land from the sky.
However,
We live in an illusionary world.
Things only appear to be different.

And mind you,
There are no opposites in the world.
For warm means merely not cold
And dark means no light.

More than a century later,
Aristotle scratched his head rumbling:
Is not this talk a next door to madness?
After all even a lunatic
Would not confuse fire with ice.
How can one argue,
From thought and language
As a frame of reference
To the world at large?
How can one reconcile
The existential with the copulative?
The past with the future?
Tell us Parmenides,
How can Socrates be alive
If he is dead?

Yet Parmenides
Remained unperturbed and smiled.
Your logic, Aristotle, is not flawless.
It does not hold water.

Look:
On a deeper level of reality
Things are always the same,
Belonging to an ultimately
Homogeneous cosmos.
In the final analysis
There is neither past nor future
Only an eternal present.
When you refer to Socrates
Your memory unfolds
Not in the past but in the present.
Your recollection happens now,
Right in this moment,
Immortalizing him.

The Muse And The Poet

The Muse said, Let us sing a little song
Wherein no hint of wrong,
No echo of the great world need, or pain,
Shall mar the strain.
Lock fast the swinging portal of thy heart;
Keep sympathy apart.
Sing of the sunset, of the dawn, the sea;
Of any thing or nothing, so there be
No purpose to thy art.
Yea, let us make, art for Art's sake.
And sing no more unto the hearts of men,
But for the critic's pen.
With songs that are but words, sweet sounding words,
Like joyous jargon of the birds.
Tune now thy lyre, O Poet, and sing on.
Sing of

THE DAWN

The Virgin Night, all languorous with dreams
Of her belovèd Darkness, rose in fear,
Feeling the presence of another near.
Outside her curtained casement shone the gleams
Of burning orbs; and modestly she hid
Her brow and bosom with her dusky hair.
When lo! the bold intruder lurking there
Leaped through the fragile lattice, all unbid,
And half unveiled her. Then the swooning Night
Fell pale and dead, while yet her soul was white
Before that lawless Ravisher, the Light.

The Muse said, Poet, nay; thou hast not caught
My meaning. For there lurks a thought
Back of thy song.
In art, all thought is wrong.
Re-string thy lyre; and let the echoes bound
To nothing but sweet sound.
Strike now the chords
And sing of

WORDS

One day sweet Ladye Language gave to me
A little golden key.
I sat me down beside her jewel box
And turned its locks.
And oh, the wealth that lay there in my sight.
Great solitaires of words, so bright, so bright;
Words that no use can commonize; like God,
And Truth, and Love; and words of sapphire blue;
And amber words; with sunshine dripping through;
And words of that strange hue
A pearl reveals upon a wanton's hand.

Again the Muse:
Thou dost not understand;
A thought within thy song is lingering yet.
Sing but of words; all else forget, forget.
Nor let thy words convey one thought to men.
Try once again.

Down through the dusk and dew there fell a word;
Down through the dew and dusk.
And all the garments of the air it stirred
Smelled sweet as musk;
And all the little waves of air it kissed
Turned gold and amethyst.
There in the dew and dusk a heart it found;
There in the dusk and dew
The sodden silence changed to fragrant sound;
And all the world seemed new.
Upon the path that little word had trod,
There shone the smile of God.

The Muse said, Drop thy lyre.
I tire, I tire.

Darlin

Spoken
Baby can I talk to you
I know somethings wrong
Things just aint the same
But deep down inside I know you still care
So tell me what to do to get things back
The way they used to be
If your words have meaning
If you really cared about me
Tell me why cant I find love in your heart
If you are my lover
A constant friend to me
Tell me why would you turn away from my love
Chorus
So darlin tell me what to do to make things right
Darlin tell me what to do to make things right
Darlin tell me what to do to make things right for love
Tell me what to do to make things right for love
If your words have reason
Then they would turn away from me
Theyre trying hard to hide all truth you might say
If you listen to me girl
If you know how Im feeling inside
Then maybe you wouldnt shut me out your life baby
Chorus
Cant you see
All Im asking is for a chance to let me love you
Cant you see
Girl you know with me is where you should be
And if by chance that we should find
That it can be for you and i
Then girl Ill try
Ill try, oh baby
Chorus
Id give anything for your love
Tell me how can I make it right
Spoken
Girl you should know how I feel by now
Theres so many ways to love
So just open your heart
And Ill find a way
Cant you see
All Im asking for is a chance to let me love you
Cant you see girl you know this is where you should be, ooh
And if by chance we should find
That it can be for you and i
Then girl Ill try
Ill try, oh baby
Chorus
Baby wont you tell what to do to make things right
You gotta tell me girl
You gotta let me know
