A Sense Of Belonging?
the happy year is here
again
meeting same old,
sad faces
inside the dining room
with only one candle
to light
and create the ambiance
of gloom
blackout.

Blackout
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine, herman rarebell, sonja kittelsen
I realize I missed a day
But Im too wrecked to care anyway
I look around and see this face
What the hell have I lost my taste
Dont want to find out
Just want to cut out
My head explodes, my ears ring
I cant remember just where Ive been
The last thing that I recall
I got lost in a deep black hole
Dont want to find out
Just want to cut out
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
I grab my things and make my run
On the way out, another one
Would like to know before I stop
Did I make it or did I flop
Dont want to find out
Just want to get out
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Blackout
I really had a blackout
Dont want to find out
Just want to get out
Blackout
I really had a blackout!

Happy New Year Everyone On This Planet
Happy new year everyone this year of our Lord 2010
Look after yourselves like the most expensive orchid,
Don’t over feed or over water you are the mainbrace
For the sake of your family look after your heart,
For it looks after you.
Be kind to someone it rids the badness that may hide inside
Ride your life on a smile everyone will catch it and match it,
So this new year make a new you and have happy new years for ever.
Pray for the misguided,
If you pray for the Koran, Jesus or the Sun, that’s okay
They are all the many faces of God,
May all the children on earth look up to you all,
Happy New Year Everyone...... my poem is done.

Journey with Lucy
in the darken room we hold
the imperceptible light of the candle
blackout must have taken away
the light that we borrowed to see
insufficient oxygen
for us to inhale
determination moved us
to travel along with the past
the ten-day journey
the recollection
the walk, the climb
the talk, the laughter
on foot we go
back to our memories
that has lead us to know
what has happened
and what is coming
this life may bring us
someday in the future
the journey with Lucy
thus taken only
in the classroom with me.

Wait For The Blackout
Dont you ask me to come out
Out when the sun does shine
Gonna stay here with curtains drawn
In darkness youll be mine
Lets wait for the blackout
The lights are too bright
Lets wait for the blackout
Wait for the night
Well welcome to my basement flat
No windows to see through
With darkness closing in, my friend
We both know what to do
Lets wait for the blackout
Wait for the night
Lets wait for the blackout
The lights are too bright
Yea!
Lets wait for the blackout
The lights are too bright
Lets wait for the blackout
Wait for the night
Come roam with me upon this earth
Keep us both alive
Know everything has lasted here
And neer would survive
Lets wait for the blackout
The lights are too bright
Lets wait for the blackout
Wait for the night
In darkness there is no sin light only brings in fear theres nothing to corrupt the eyes there is no vision here at first you may find it strange but do not go away the darkness holds a power that you wont find in the day there is no vision here (repeat)

A Family United
The wedding day
A 37-year-old man
His 14-year-old son
Survivors of divorce
A 27-year-old woman
Her 8-year-old son
Born out of wedlock
Two broken relationships trying to heal
Afraid to love again
But deciding to risk it
Promises by all to make this work
A candle for him - and one for his son
A candle for her - and one for her son
All light the one that unites
And makes them
A family

The Flickering Flame of Life
As dusk was creeping in, one winter’s evening,
I lit a candle to add to the peaceful ambiance.
Sitting, with my coffee on the table by my side
the flickering flame soon had me entranced.
I began to compare my life to a new candle,
remembering that I used to be proud and tall.
Like a candle I just got on with my business
working and playing without fuss at all.
With the flickering flame I also had parity,
when new it burned small but bright,
but as it grew it became more illuminating,
and at its peak it danced all night.
Throughout life I shed tears as did the candle,
also aged, as it flickered the hours away.
Sadly I know when its light flickers no more,
my breath will similarly cease at the end of my days.

Shine
A single candle can light a dark room
Yet, dark can’t darken a lighted space
One person can light a world of gloom
Thereby enlighten a vast Human Race

My Light?
In my time i have switched on many light's in many room's,
but mine was alway's dark,
i felt my light leaving me,
i was getting tired,
could someone help me find the switch,
all there seem's to be is gloom,
how much longer do i have to go on living this way,
why can't i find a room in which i am happy,
is this the way it is be, forever,
is this it for evermore,
sometimes, i see the light at the end,
not realising it is my reflection,
that my light has alway's been there,
i just needed to be told.

Blackout (Fun Poem 129)
You go to change a light bulb,
suddenly there is a blue flash,
and you are plunged into darkness.
The time is 11 o’clock at night,
the curtains are pulled,
and there is not a glimmer of light.
You fumble around in the darkness
knocking ornaments off the shelf,
tripping over your pets
as they snooze on the floor
while you search franticly
for a light of any sort.
You find a candle and lit it,
then give a deep sigh,
which blow the candle out,
but not before, you’ve found
a flashlight with no batteries,
which sound about right
when you’re in a blackout.
Finally, you get a light
and go to the fuse box
only to find no fuse wire
there or anywhere.
You are stuck in a panic
of what to do,
then I did what anyone would do
go to bed and sort it out
when the morning appeared,
and that is just what I did.

The Gentleman's Tear
At the candle light
And the dark around
He is sitting there alone
There is another light
Glowing bright from his heart
So pure and bright
Just I wished if I knew
Why he was sitting there alone.
Oh, how a cute gentleman!
At the magic nihgt
Under the candle light
What he was thinking about
That good hearted gentleman!
What a Deep! Deep! thoughts
Just If It could be seen
At the dark of the night!
What was thinking about
While he was touching the candle light
O, my God what was going on
How can be this true
At the darkness night
Under the candle light
Two drops of tears slipped from those charming eyes
I saw his face
The tears were rolling down
What could be the reason to make those eyes cry?
At the darkness nihgt
Under the candle light
Just I wanted if my wish would become true
Just I wished if I could be his light.
And wipe away the gloom

Candle light...
Candle light, oh candle light,
Why do you shine so bright?
I can not touch, no I can not touch you,
But you always light up my life.
Candle light, my candle light,
I'm glad you are still in my sight,
Even a wind would come, or a rain fall down,
Please don't disappear from my sight!
I don't expect you to shine so bright often,
I don't expect you to light up my life,
I only want you to be you... and be happy with that,
Coz I know no one can match your light!
Candle Of Hope
I light this candle of hope
For the people in Mindanao
Particularly in Maguindanao
A southern part in our country, the Philippines.
I light this candle of hope
For the weeping child, for the abused
For the weak women, tortured and some buried alive
I light this candle of hope
For the widows, widowers, orphans
for the mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers.
This Christmas, I know it will be very hard
To celebrate Christmas with joy in your heart
It is not easy to lose a loved one.
Your tears will be gone, in His time
Your broken heart will be whole
Just keep that faith inside in each one of you
And keep this candle of hope burning..burning
Note: Please light your Candle of Hope too for them.
In your own little way, you have helped them lighten their load.
Thank you and God bless

Virgo Clowns
Let us free you from the pain
Let us see you smile again
Let us unlock all the chains
Youre broken-hearted
Let us help you to forget
Let us help you unlock it
Its not nearly time to quit
Youve only started
You gotta
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Let us shake you by the hand
Let us help you understand
Take your head out of the sand
And shake it free now
Let us help you to go on
We are here to lean upon
Now you know exactly just who
You want to be now
Come on
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Let us lift you up on high
See the twinkle in your eye
Raise your head up to the sky
And say its easy
Hey let the trumpets ring it
Let the angels sing it
Let your pretty feet go dancing
Let your worn out mind go prancing
And
Sit down funny face
Let your laughter fill the room
Light up your golden smile
Take away all your misery and gloom
Let your laughter fill the room
Let your laughter fill the room
Etc.

Light Blub and the Candle
Candle: 'You think your so bright.'
Light Blub: 'I'm supposed to be that way.'
But at least I don't go out, everytime a breeze blows in.'
Candle: 'Hey I have been here longer than you.'
Light Blub: 'Edison invented me, who invented you? '
Candle: 'Don't really know for sure, but I have been around longer.'
Light Blub: 'You already said that.'
Candle: ' I get so mad, everytime someone says, they have an idea
they compare it to a light blub.'
Light Blub: 'Who else.'
Candle: ' When the power goes out, were the first things people reach
for.'
Light Blub: 'Yes, but as soon as the power comes back on, they put
you away.'
Edison: 'Listen here you two, you both serve a purpose and are
needed very much, don't you see.'
Light Blub: ' He's right, I'm sorry candle.'
Candle: 'Your forgiven, light blub, so am I.'

Narcissus
I met this Narcissus one night
in a party tendered by
this Endymion
and there are Adonises
meeting us in smiles and
masculine grace,
and they all speak of beauty
and how these flesh
that attract must be preserved
and rejuvenated
the mirrors in the room
rejoice
they look at their faces
and they all mutually admire
each
then i stop to ask them
why can't they love the other
the lonely and the challenged ones
of this society?
they look inside their eyes
and feel the love they all have
for themselves
the beautiful faces that only them
their eyes can love
this is what i call real ugliness.

Candles
Faith for reasons still unknown
Like bleak house fog seems everywhere
The truth has frozen into stone
And hope lies freezing in the midnight air
Though dark our days may seem
This is a different dream
Their freedom light dont shine at all
So I will light a candle for you
Keep it burning in the night
And pray that you are all right
I will light a candle for you
Little candle burning bright
When school yard heroes disappeared
The little girl, she stands alone
Oh I believe you if you say
A prayer can help to get her home
So I will light a candle for you
Keep it burning in the night
And pray that you are all right
I will light a candle for you
Little candle burning bright
